Amazing teacher!! As this was one of my first online classes ever, Mrs. Perez made my otherwise nerve racking online experience into a seamless and highly educational one. This is an online course. The instructor is well organized and presents the material in an interesting manner. You will become a strategic thinker and if you already are one, you will become a better one.

I've taken a couple of online classes but this one was different. The instructor actually gave the students feedback and was fair with grading. She gave us ample amount of time to do our assignments which is great coming from someone who has 2 full time jobs and a full time student. She challenged me every step of the way which I'm grateful for.

I honestly thought this class was going to be easy, however, Perez does make you work for a grade. I'm actually glad she does though. I really enjoyed the in depth feedback she gives for each assignment. She lets me know what I need to work on and if I'm on the right track. She really cares about her students.

There are a lot of professors who say/write that they will be accessible, but Professor Perez really is, she makes the effort to get right back to her students and it is very appreciated. HUM-115 I really liked Kelly Perez. Although I was in her internet based class, I felt that she genuinely cares about her students and that they succeed in this class. If you work hard in this class you should be able to finish with a good grade.

I took this online. Ms. Perez made every assignment as clear as possible. She made it easy to understand and navigate. I like that she was very interested in the students abilities and didn't put all of us into one box. Ms. Perez is very organized which made things so much easier for me. Ms. Perez is very upbeat in her communication with students. She clearly explains what is required and provides examples for what is expected. Extra credit is available, but I didn't find that the class was too difficult. I took the course online; the required reading wasn't hard, but it was necessary to read to complete the assignments.

She a has strict guideline to follow which was very hard for me at first. I've never had an instructor that gives great examples like her. She gives great examples of what she is looking for. If you follow the guidelines you will definitely succeed.

A well organized professor, the class was well laid out with established expectations, grading criteria, organized syllabus, and how to contact her if needed. You're gonna do a fair amount of reading and writing in this course. Working ahead of deadlines will be a plus.

There is a lot of reading when it comes to dealing with this class. I would highly recommend working ahead on the assignments, especially with the essay. She has everything laid out that you need to do which is very helpful and she is detailed with the way that she grades. Overall, great teacher and I would take her class again because of this.

I loved taking her class! The assignments were very clear (except for maybe the one where you have to talk about a painting) and she offered multiple extra credit assignments. Hurricane Florence hit while we were taking the class and she amended the class to make it easier on us. She's very understanding about personal things as well.

Good teacher, challenging course, but worth the work. Appreciate all her efforts.

Ms. Perez is a fair teacher. She gives quick and constructive feedback. The assignments are pretty wordy and you can get lost in amount of information she provides, however, if you are patient , you will find the work not to be that difficult.

Even though i didn't do anything until the last minute, it wasn't that hard you just have to say what you're thinking.

Kelly Perez was an excellent teacher during my semester in her online Critical Thinking class. I made some personal mistakes the first couple of weeks, and it hurt my grade. After a quick email conversation with Ms. Perez she and I worked everything out and it was smooth sailing from then on. Great instructor. Highly recommend her class.

I took this as an 8- week summer session. There was a lot of detailed work, but Ms. Perez was very thorough in her direction. Also, she reached out the whole semester offering assistance or clarification for any student that might need it. Very attentive instructor.

She is definitely not like other instructors. If you ask for help she gives it to you as soon as possible typically withing 24 - 48 hours. The help that she gives is clear and constructive. The analogy she uses is can be funny, but still pertains to the subject. To say the least I wish she was teaching every course I have to take.

She's awesome! She always gave lots of great feedback! The material/assignment descriptions can be lengthy, but this class is for CRITICAL THINKING, so you must break bad learning habits and adapt in order to become a CRITICAL THINKER!

She made summary guides to help define what we would be doing that week and what needs to be present in your work. She made videos for some of the weeks that were confusing some students. Instructor Perez was great in reply to her emails. She was quick and thorough, and that was very helpful because I had many questions. She was patient with me, because I needed that with being a challenged learner. She always wanted to make sure I understood the material.

Although my grade does reflect it, I learned so much in this class. I could have made a much better grade but due to unexpected loss of employees on my job, I had to work alot of overtime these past 2 months. I would suggest everyone attending college take this course. My Professor gave us time to make up work that was very much appreciated!!

It has been one of my best online classes. Although, you do read the entire textbook within the 8-wk course, it wasn't hard at all. All the assignments are given with very clear instructions. She also has videos for every week explaining what is expected out of the assignments. If you do the homework and actually try on it, you'll pass for sure!

She provides amazing video lectures based on the topics that were discussed each week. Links are also provided to outside sources with great lecture. Book isn't necessarily needed, but it helps. Definitely a shocker in the beginning with the first assignment, as some people seemed really confused. However, hunker down and focus, it'll be ok.

When I first started this class, I was devastated by the work of "oh no, it is one of those teacher again", but it turns out it was just information relevant to the class and the actual assignment was easier than it looks. Professor Perez made this class very interesting for me. With this being a accelerated class I was expecting a huge information dump, but she made it very manageable. Due to work and taking this online, I felt that the delivery of information was great and she is very responsive to respond to questions on material.

This is a great humanities class to take for your associates. The subject matter is useful for other classes like introductory courses. I took intro to logic earlier this year and had a strong base with this class. This professor makes solid lectures that cover enough that you dont need the book. She gives really good feedback on your assignments.

In the beginning I was really nervous about what type of professor I would be dealing with. However, Professor Perez proved me wrong. She gave thorough instructions with a clear grading criteria. I have learned a lot in this course that I will continue to use in my everyday life and in future courses. She's an excellent professor overall!

This was a very good class. Prof Perez goes to a lot of effort to give additional information and help wherever she can. Highly recommend. Also, there is a required textbook, that I purchased, but never once opened. She provided enough information I didn't find myself needing the book.

Professor Perez was the best teacher I have taken so far. Her class was easy as long as you put forth the work and did everything she needed you to do. She really gives great feedback that helps give you confidence and keeping up the great work. If I could have Professor Perez for all my classes I would she is just that awesome.

I really liked this class and you can tell Professor Perez really cares about her students. She seems like a very down to earth person. Watch the videos in her workbooks they give great insights, as well as some funny side commentary from time-to-time. She responds quickly to emails and was very helpful, especially in her grading feedback!

This class was by far one of the best I've taken at this college. Professor Perez was clear with what was expected for each assignment and was always available to answer questions. You can tell she genuinely cares for her students.

When I first opened the announcements page and read the introduction from the teacher I thought this class was going to be hard and she would be tough. I was wrong. All you have to do is follow the directions and it is so easy. The teacher is also great at responding and gives clear instructions along with great feedback to know what to work on.

Professor Perez was great! You can tell she's very passionate about teaching and loves what she does. I was worried about this class because I didn't know what to expect and at times, the prompts were challenging. She does a great job at thoroughly explaining assignments.

She was supportive to me in a tough situation that I was going through

While going through this course I was bit scared of it due to reading the syllabus and learning more about the class. But as time went on, I lost all of those preconceived notions as she made the class look extremely simple, which I thought was good.

Prof Perez was great! Very sweet and lenient with me when I had some health issues. You do need the textbook for some assignments, but no heavy reading. Clear instructions. Extra help and videos available, unlike other courses where you teach yourself with a textbook cover to cover. No big final essay or project, so no stress! Definitely take her!!

Has helped me a lot with class, is super understanding that things happen on our outside life. Makes the class understandable and fun. Truly one of my favorite classes.

Mrs. Perez was one of the better professors I've ever had. I took her course as an 8 week summer course and passed with a 98. With a couple assignments a week and detailed , thought out lectures, the class was very enjoyable and she even put up her own video lectures which made the online experience much better. I recommend you take this class.

I really liked taking Ms. Perezs class shes a great teacher. She has videos throughout the modules. Since we were online she had a group chat available to reach her too. And the tests we did take were easy to understand. I would definitely take her course again

It has been 9 years since my last college course. I have recently retired from the military and she made my experience smooth. She was well organized, instructed with knowledge and experience, and made all students feel they can succeed. Professor Perez is amazing. The time she took to teach the different styles so I can understand was incredible. The videos, slides, and explanations showed how much she understood how different people learn and used the technics being taught in class to teach us. This class was easy IF you put the actual work into it. You get a lot of freedom when it comes to assignments, and she outlines what's expected almost explicitly. I bought the book, but she provides study guides and lectures that cover almost all of the material more in depth than the book does.

This professor loves her job, and if you ever need help on any of the assignments, she is really willing to help you out and be there for you. She really wants everyone to succeed, and you can tell she really loves her students and job.

This class was not what I expected. I really liked the Professor because she cared. If there were any questions or issues, she responded quickly. I did not care for the textbook for the class, but I appreciated that she didn't care when I called out the textbook. I think she was nice and would take a class with her again, preferably Philosophy.

Mrs. Perez made my last semester fun and it allowed me to operate my strategic thinking skills. I loved the fact that she uses videos where she explains the different topics and give out examples for a clearer understanding. I also enjoyed the fact that she provides lectures for the students that do not have the course book.

I feel like she knows exactly how to give feedback. Some professors just say if you are right or wrong but she actually analyzes what you have submitted and takes the time to go over it.

Kelly Perez offers a great Critical Thinking Class. She provides lecture videos and video recordings of herself better explaining what she would like done for the assignment. Her videos break down the weekly assignments. Her teaching technics are very helpful.

Awesome teacher with a fun online learning experience

This professor makes a very clear and easy outline of the class and I liked that the future weeks of assignments were available to you if you wanted to work ahead. Very clear cut homework and it wasn't boring.

Prez Perez had lots of visual information that helped me get through the class, even though sometimes I was lost with all the information coming in at once. She was very pleasant to work with and gave feedback throughout the entire semester.

Ms. Perez is, to me, a funny teacher just with the puns she makes, and she is never boring in her lectures. Her grading was always fair and she always gave pep talks whether you passed or failed, and i would 10/10 take another class by her.

Prof Perez is a delight! Th online class has videos of her briefing you on the next assignments and she is thorough and has nice voice! Her classwork is not difficult -you just have to read a bit, learn, understand and respond. Its a really fun class. I highly recommend.

I loved that each weekly assignment came with lecture notes and videos, so if you did not have a book you were still able to receive the information for that week's chapter to study. I love the teaching styles that were used and the positive feedback given. I would recommend this course and professor to anyone.

Great professor!! Social studies in general was never my favorite but had a lot of fun with her. She gives tons of extra credit so i ended the class with a 116 A. She gives 3 assignments per lecture one being the extra credit which is optional. There are 4 quizzes due at the end of the semester multiple choice super easy. Overall she was amazing.

There is only 4 Quizzes, the rest is Discussion Boards and Essays. Various topics are discussed and there a plenty of prompts for professional discourse amongst the students such as: abortion, legalization of marijuana, death penalty, social justice and environmental issues. TLDR: Apply yourself and you will do fine, she is a great teacher.
