Good teacher, but tests are hard. The second exam is a killer.

everyone says he's mean... but he's not. He's only mean if you say something stupid to him. His class is not that bad, I enjoy going to it and i hate stats. He has also curved our tests and gives a possibility of 3% extra credit on your overall grade.

He is not that bad. The class is hard, and he makes you work, but explains the subject well and does a lot of practice problems.

My GPA: 3.7 I found him very clear. Didn't need to read anything in book, he explained what would be on test, just go over notes. Helpful if you ask. No extra credit! No curve!

Tests are HARD!!!! No joke. Probably the best IDS teacher at State. Go to class, b/c his test are a reflection of his lecture notes. He will help you as much as you need it, just ask!

His class is not that bad. Pay attention to lecture notes because his test is pratically based on them. Dry humor but rather funny.

Kelly Shaul is a petite Irish guy that has a TV personality of someone that just doesn't care. His sarcasm is great if you appreciate dark humor! His class was pretty easy and concise (NOTHING like Beatty). Pretty amusing! You either love him or hate him.

Cool Guy, his lectures are his test. First 2 tests are easy, watch out for the final though. I definitley recommend this guy over beatty. atleast you know whats going to be on the test.

Professor is very nice and helpful, class is very hard. He speaks very fast, need to take very good notes for this class, books are huge, he lets you use a cheat sheet for tests, gives only a couple of extra points, tests are all base on lectures. Little time to take tests. Good Luck, you'll need!!!

It's stats people, its supposed to be difficult. He's funny in a twisted sort of way. Nice guy. Go to office hours for help if needed. 1/2 sheet of notes for test. Never went to A+, but still got an A-. Examples are funny and interesting. Ask about his take on Seattle and suicide stats.

The class material itself is hard, but if you study his examples and the problems he gives in the book to do, then you won't have much trouble. I never went to A+ and I got a good grade. He does have a weird sense of humor, but it breaks up the class monotony.

Cool teacher. Semi-easy class if you put time and effort into it. Take good notes and study, tests come straight from the lectures and assigned readings.

Very hard class (it's STATS). He will help you, go to his office or he'll make time for you. Overall a hard class, but take good notes and study and you should pass. You'll only get what you deserve.

Fair and funny man. Great class. Made the class as straight forward as possible. No homework. Little work. Just rework problems that he does in class. Easy A, for a stats class.

He is really weird, but if you are looking for the easiest 301 professor, he would be it. Most of the exam comes straight from his lecture. I never read the book, but got an A-.

He is funny, he's strange funny. He is straight forward and makes his class as easy and painless as statistics possibly could be. A semi-dedicated student would not have any troubles getting an A.

Dark sense of humor, but a great teacher. Helpful and will do what he can to help students. I would recommend him over any other MBA stat teachers. If you are in collge to learn rather than get a grade this is a great class.

I'm glad I took this class with Shaul, no stress. Doesn't take attendance, no homework (except 4 Stats Packs but they're super easy), multiple choice exams, it just doesn't get any better than that. Plus If you do all 4 stats packs and do them correctly he add 2% to your grade.

Not an easy class. Really need to study. Got C+. Do ALL stat packs, counts for 12% of grade...easy points. Helpful if you ask, even through e-mail. His notes match what is on the test. Didn't really read the book. Doesn't curve.

This is a hard class but i liked professor Shaul.. he gives u the exact grade u earned, no curve so its even more challenging.. but he is very helpful and has an interesting sense of humor. he gives 4 hw assignments that are basically just easy points and theres 4 tests that are hard but if u study u can do well.. i'd recommend him.

He doesn't take attendance! However, his lectures are extremely useful. A lot of the examples in his lectures are similar to his tests. He also allows a half a page of notes for his tests. Do the stat packets! It only takes a few minutes to do and is worth 12 points if you do all of them. I got a B by cramming last minute.

Great class..People may not like this guy if they slacked off, but if you just go to class and take good notes the class is easy. He tells you exactly what to study, and lectures step-by-step what you need to know. Stat packages are super easy Excel projects that take like 1 hour. He also has a dry sense of humor that's pretty amusing.

Good teacher, if you take goods notes you can get an A. Explanations are very clear easy to follow, no homework (just 1 stat pack per test, takes 30 - 60 min). With the right calculator its just following the steps. The teacher is sarcastic but in a funy way, keeps class interesting, not easy but highly recommended. Didnt like the book.

Don't miss class or you'll be lost. Don't bother reading the book, he tests from his lecture notes. No homework. Cheat sheets for test. All in all it's an easy class if you take good notes.

grade is based on three or four exams depends on morning class or night class. he doesn't care about attendance, but you have to be there or you'll be lost. cheat sheet is good, but his exams are tricky. if you misread, you will lose a big chunk of points. exams are multiple choices.

Prof Shaul incorporates his great sense of humor into his lectures which makes the class more interesting. He's willing to help you and knows his stuff. His exams are fair and the stat packets are easy points. If you give minimal effort, you're sure to get atleast a C. Take him

One of the only classes that actually look forward to attending. His clarity and knowledge on the subject makes it very easy to understand. He has a good sense of humor and really understands the business world and the needs of the student. He makes a dry subject (stats) semi-interesting (ok, no so much, but you know what I mean ;) )

Be prepared for an ego bruising class. He expects a LOT out of you. Study stuy study, and you will do okay...don't let yourself fall behind!!!!

He is funny and uses a lot of real world examples that help with understanding and clarity. The class is quite difficult. Our class average was probably in the D range even after a slight curve. The calculator is a must! Be sure to go to class because the books aren't very good.

The tests are rough - but he tells you what you need to know. Just be sure to know it inside and out & from every angle. He makes it interesting & doesn't try to trick you, but I found going to review sessions on top of studying REALLY helped for the exams. Good teacher - recommended.

Interesting instructor, tough subject, be prepared to spend many hours with the horrible book, calculator, and class notes. As for the tests, they are given differently than instructed in class so its important to understand each and every concept. Don't waste time and money on A+, get together with classmates.

Most interesting character, and unique professor I've EVER had. Don't be scared to approach him. He's actually really nice and helpful. Pay attention to everything he says is going to be on the test. Because it will!

Call me crazy but I enjoyed the class. I found Professor Shaul to be interesting and funny. The tests were so-so but if you go to class and pay attention, all of the calculation problems in the tests are covered. The definition-type questions can be tricky. Do the stat-packs because they are easy points.

Hilarious guy with a dry sense of humor. Class isn't too bad - just take good notes, study well, and know how to use the calculator, which you will need by the way. The textbooks (two huge volumes) are terrible... they could be more logical and probably condensed. Oh, and DO NOT let your cell phone go off during class! Lol.

Yea Shaul did like to make fun of people with his dry sense of humor, but it made sense when he did. Go to class, take notes, and participate in class. I didn't go to A+ and was fine.

professor shaul is a cool professor. he teaches like every college professor should. sense of humor, and teaching is great, the subject is just a bit hard. nothing you can do bout it. take good notes and go to class and you'll pass. only hard part about this class was, the concept questions given on the tests.

Don't listen to people's personal judgements of Shaul. The fact is, he's a good professor, and he keeps you entertained with his off-beat jokes. I can tell he really cares about his students & wants them to do well. The only reason some people don't like him is because they're unprepared for class in the first place!

Excellent Professor, difficult subject for the mathematically challenged. Do all the homework and don't skip class to pass. he is easily accessible during office hours, but make sure you have your questions ready, don't waste his time.

Trust this prof. Come to class -gives xtra credit towards exams. His lectures make the tests easier. 1/2 page notes allowed on exams. Write down every thing he says. Tests are hard so study his lectures. Any problems go to office hours. Really smart and very helpful. Do the stat packs for easy points. Highly recommend.

Was intimidated at first, and it showed on the first test. He gave me a motivational speech at office hours and I aced the second test. He tells great stories which help clarify the courswork, and sometimes some pretty good off-color jokes. It's not easy, however. READ WHAT HE SAYS TO. SHOW UP AND TAKE NOTES. KNOW THE CONCEPTS. I recommend him.

I liked Shaul. Class definitely wasnt easy... required effort. But he was pretty funny and told some cool stories. Class notes are vital, so dont skip class! Buy the $100 calulator, go to class, and study by doing practice problems in the book and you should be fine.

Not an easy class. But Shaul is a good professor that will help you if you go to his office hours. Take good notes (word for word) and go to every class and you will be fine! Study the problems from your notes and the concepts.. lots of concepts on the exams.

Strict guy, but not ridiculous. People are weak minded so they get scared and say they hate him and hes terrible. Hes really not that bad. If you ask, he will help. he doesn't volunteer info. A+ is garbage for this class. His tests are based off his class notes and some assigned sections from the text. Do practice problems and read out of the text!

I still took this class after reading the bad ratings. People are just exaggerating. He's awesome and funny. THINGS TO KNOW: 3 tests(include the final), 3 statpacks(so freaking easy), and no need of the textbook bc everything in his lecture is all that you need for the tests. Got a F, B, and bombed the final and passed with a solid C, yup!

I don't see why so many people are bashing Shaul. He is a funny guy who is very clear about what he expects from you. Why do people think they should be able to just go to A+ review and get an A in the class? Go to class, take good notes, do the stat packs, and turn off your cell phone. Not necessarily a warm teacher but otherwise the class is pretty straight forward. 1st test is the hardest, I failed it. The next 2 were pretty easy & are worth more so it brings up your grade. Stat packs are super easy. Go to class and take good notes and you should be fine. Dont let your phone go off in his class. Got a B in the class.

im surprised at how low his easiness rating is. he gives cheat sheets AND bonus questions on exams, he lectures exactly what will be on the exams, AND the statpack hw assignments are ridiculously easy. i finished with a high B without trying.

This class is ridiculously easy. Pay attention in class and you will get an A. He very clearly states what will be tested on the exam. There are no surprises.

Shaul is one of the hottest business professors in SDSU! He's really nice and very helpful. Although his exams are kind of hard, he is very straight forward of what he expects from you. He also has funny stories and you're laughing everytime in class. I hope he continues teaching for a long time!!!!

Shaul was a different type of professor - kind of old school. No powerpoints, he talks the whole time. I got a D overall and I attended most of the class. But I would take him again for a different course. Don't go to A+ review since it also teaches you past semester materials that isn't necessarly tested this semester. YES, he's hot!

Difficult class. Go lecture and do stats pack (2% extra credit). His humor is very dark, but he's very helpful if you approach him. Even if you think you are prepared, you're going to fail his first exam because it's worded in a way that's hard to comprehend

Very good overall except fact book was seriously overrated. I did entire class without ever reading it. He does an outstanding job of combining teaching and application and real world examples.

He is a good professor who gives stories and situations that relate to this course and will help if you ask. "Your heart is most important." That is one thing I learned from him and it is true with whatever you are pursuing in life.

First and foremost, take stat119 before mis301. Where stat119 ends, mis301 picks up. That's how I did it and I got an A in Shaul's class. I did read the book and took notes in class everyday. If you have a TI calc, he wont teach you how to use it so just look it up on google. The TI makes this class beyond easy. Do the homework. You can beat this!

Had to retake this class and i got a B, which was hard enough to get. A PLUS DOES NOT HELP FOR THIS CLASS, just read the book (which isnt that bad) and study his notes, you do get a cheat sheet which helps. Do the statpacks they boost your grade a lot! hardest class ive ever taken. go to lecture take good notes. textbooks are old school; readings were brutal. prob will never use subject matter in real life. really frustrated with the guys teaching but inadvertently ended up learning very important life lesson from him by the end of the semester and he wrote me a letter of recommendation.

Intimidating at first but he is pretty cool. 3 tests, the final isn't cumulative. The stat packs are really easy and help your grade. I went to class everyday and barely read the book and got an A. The tests can be tough but you can use a sheet of notes which is massively helpful. And never use your phone in class. He is strict about that.

Most teachers teach you how to be an employee. Shaul teaches you how to be a CEO. Difficult class tho!

He is a passionate educator. If you want to learn more about life than about MIS then you will enjoy the class.

Shaul is a great prof. the class is hard, but if you study hard and do the problems you will pass, He knows what he is doing, and if you give it your 100% he will help you, and go to the exams reviews he does before every exam, you will get some exam questions

Wonderful professor, but it must be 90% of your effort. Tips: GO TO CLASS and take notes of everything. Expect to write the whole time. Get the Calc of amazon. It's 10X cheaper. And put your notes on your cheat sheet. The test will be the same thing. Go to office hours to review your test/ ask questions. It's helpful and he respects your efforts

Very straight forward guy and straight forward class. I enjoyed his teaching style and his honesty. You need to show up each day, don't need the book much at all, and put time into your cheat sheet you should at least get a B.

He is a good professor, the class is difficult. SHOW UP TO CLASS! He sometimes takes attendance and adds it as points onto your grade. He is clear and will help you in office hours. HE wants you to know he is NOT nice. Despite this, he is actually pretty understanding. Hw is composed of 3 assignments. Go to class to ensure extra points. You need to go anyway, or you won't pass the 3 tests, which are difficult and have "both a & b" "none of the above"-like answers for all questions (ridiculous and not straightforward at all)

The struggle is going to be real but shaul is probably one of the best professors I have had. His lectrues are to the point, take good notes, go to office hours and you will pass. He may not seem warm and bubbly but I actually have a lot of respect for shaul. He cares about his students and that says a lot. A plus helped for final. 3Tests 3HW.

I feel like most people who complain about Shaul are just lazy. He is a very knowledgable professor who will teach you a lot. The content and tests can be pretty tough, but put in your best effort and you'll do fine! Also, I used the book on reserve in the library and that was a good resource for practice and reading.

This was by far my hardest class. Very tough B-, but if you live in office hours like I did, you'll pass. If you're looking for an easy A this is not the class. There's going to be a lot of studying and effort on your part, but he truly cares about his students and wants to see you succeed. You'll need the book for the practice problems he gives.

Solid class. Shaul is a good guy and gets that we can't spend all our time studying for one class. As long as you go to every class and pay attention you'll be fine. For tests the calculations are pretty direct but concept questions can be a bit tricky so it doesn't hurt to buy or rent the (cheap) textbook and read the sections he tells us to.

Challenging class, but Shaul as a whole is extremely intelligent, caring, and wise. Can get very strict and stern if you disrespect him. 3 tests, all of which are hard but he tells you what to expect and don't take it for granted. Stat Paks are easy points and you'll need them. Gives real world applications and is full of words of wisdom. Respect.

Shaul genuinely cares about all of his students and wants to get to know you on a personal level. This class is definitely difficult but not impossible. You have to work for it. I would definitely use a TI 84 calculator just because it's so much easier to use. Must go to class! Didn't use the book at all. Great person. Would take again!

The class is difficult but Shaul tries to make it easier for you. Just make sure to go to class, take notes and do the homework. You can get at least a C by just doing that and getting at least around 65% on each exam

Do the statpacks; they're easy points. TI calculator is easier in my opinion, but he only teaches with HP. He's fast so read/study the material PRIOR to class. The biggest advice I can give is REVIEW because the material can be overwhelming; it's not too hard but it is a lot. Don't be afraid to ask for help! Tough class, but you definitely learn!

You would be making a huge mistake if you took MIS 180 with anyone else but Professor Shaul. With him as your teacher, you get much more than you paid for. Not only is he a great teacher but also really cares about his student, takes the time to answer all their questions, and leaves you with some great lessons on life. Hard class, great teacher

Shauls class is VERY DIFFICULT. That being said, I wouldn't take MIS 301 with anyone else! He's a tough professor and a lot of people think he's arrogant but he's really not. If you go to each class, pay attention, do all the stat packs, you'll pass. He knows who you are even if you think he doesn't and he truly cares if you understand the material

At first I was terrified of this class! But Prof Shaul is an amazing professor and a really cool guy once you get to know him. I'm terrible at math but I showed up everyday and went to his office hours and ended up with a C+! So don't be afraid of the difficulties you may have at first! Shauls the best prof for MIS by FAR! :)

I think professor Shaul's class have been hyped way too much. YES, it is a tough class, but it's manageable if you show up every class and pay attention. He often puts in-class problems on the tests which is another good reason to go. The book is a pain though. Besides the example questions I didn't use it at all. The wording was awful.

This class at first had me worried, but Shaul is a great professor who truly wants you to know the material and will set you up to do so. Do all of the Stat Packs correctly and give him a face to recognize as he adds bonus points. Take your time between reading and the lecture notes to understand the material. Half-sheet of notes for every exam.

This is not an easy class. Go to class regularly; take good note; ask question and pass. That is it! He is one of the nicest professor at State. Professor Shaul is the best professor I have had at San Diego State. He truly cares about his students and is willing to give you the help you need. His tests are tough but if you pay attention and work for it you can do well. I would take Shaul again if I could.

This class is not easy, but I promise you will get numerous benefits from taking Shaul. Yes he teaches stats, but he also teaches you how to actually apply his material to the real world, which is hard to find from other professors. He also usually ends class with an interesting motivational story, as to inspire us students to strive to do more.

Shaul's class is difficult for most business majors but it is not impossible. Do the 3 stat-packs (which take 20 mins), make a good cheat sheet, and study a bit before the tests. He wants you to do well and he is a good professor who truly enjoys teaching statistics. Take him if you're willing to do some work which will pay off.

Don't be scared of this class! Shaul gives you ample opportunity to learn and succeed. Buy the calculator, stay up to date on the formulas, COME TO CLASS, ask questions, and follow directions. Literally half of this class is being able to follow directions. Great guy, great professor.

Shaul is a nice person although he might come off as intimidating at first. GO TO CLASS, take notes and if you need extra help you can do A plus review. make good use of the cheat sheet he allows, write down all theories (40% of test were theory questions). Even if you hate stats, you will learn some real life applications from him.

This class was not hard if you could get ready to read, do the packets, prepare well for tests. Good professor though!

Shaul is an overall cool guy, who can be a bit snappy at times. He is very passionate about his subject and does a great job of applying it to real life situations. His lectures are a bit hard to follow at times due to his poor handwriting and no powerpoints or anything. Basically, attend class EVERY time, go to A+ if needed, and you will be fine

Awesome Professor, may seem very intimidating, but will notice students exhibiting effort in his class, as well as students on their PHONES. The material covered in this course is challenging and is comprised of 2 midterms, 3 application assignments, & 1 (LONG) final. I used a TI-84 instead of the calculator that he recommends for class.

As much as I would like to say I did not like this professor, that was not the case. He may have pointless stories and a voice that dug into my skin but he will tell you what to learn and how to pass. It is a shame that I waited until the last minute to truly put all my effort into his class or I know that I could have gotten an A.

Kelly Shaul is one of the most down to earth professors you will ever have. Going into this class having read previous reviews, I was dreading his class and thought it was going to be my worst class. But, his class turned out to be the opposite for me. Be open minded to what he has to say because he will teach you more than you expect if you listen

Going into this class, I was dreading it. But, Shaul really cares about his students and knows that we have lives outside of college. He is very relatable and makes class unique, interesting, and has some good advice. You NEED to go to class to really understand what you're doing or get someones notes. Get the calculator!!!

I like him personally, he is really nice, provided me a lot of help through the semester, he replies email really fast, but I have to say, this course is supper hard, I read a lot of reviews that too many students failed, so I didn't expect too much as long as a pass, I'm an A student, I tried hard in this class, I got a C but I'm not upset.

During the semester u think he is a little mean and rude but at the end of the semester after seeing your grade u will realize how much he is nice and generous. He just wants u to put effort and take the course seriously. But remember this course is hard and u need to study a lot to get a good grade.

Professor Shaul is a great teacher, sure, his lectures may be a little lengthy but play them at 1.5-2 times speed and you will be fine (he talks kind of slow). Other than that, it was fine. No tests, just a couple of short multiple choice quizzes, weekly readings, and a weekly assignment that he grades pretty easily.

Don't let the reviews scare you. This was the most fair class I've ever taken at SDSU. It's two days a week but he only does one lecture most weeks and gives you the second day off (woo!). Every assignment has detailed step by step instructions and lecture videos are uploaded. Grading is very clear cut and there is extra credit on exams and hw.

At first I was convinced that Prof. Shaul's teaching style was just not for me. As time went on I started to appreciate his teaching, he encourages students to think with a business mindset. Make sure to thoroughly understand the lectures before doing the hw. Quizzes are easy (online with respondus), he does a review lecture & has bonus q's.

one of my favorite professors at sdsu, at first he was very intimidating but as you go along the class, you will notice that he is actually a very cool person. Assignments are not hard if you put effort into it. Quizzes are easy as well. If I put in effort from the start I would have gotten an A in this class but overall it was a very good class.

Shaul is actually a great teacher, cares about the success of his students and makes sure you actually understand the material. Class is hard, but it is easy if you pay attention and go to class and do the homework.

There are helpful guiding notes so, I didn't get lost. The textbook is free, lecture videos are provided.The curse structure is well-designed. He made statistics relatable and fun via students' or personal stories.He stayed longer to help students. He is intimidating, but I like that. This was a great class and he is one of my favorite professors.

I think Professor Shaul gets a bad wrap, but he genuinely is my favorite professor. He is a tough love type of guy but will stay after class to answer questions and guide you through homework during office hours. This course is difficult but if you show up and put in the work your grade will reflect that. Ask questions and attend office hours!

Super busy w work and was able to pass w out a ton of effort. Passed by doing all the homework even though I failed 2/3 of the tests. If you put in a good amount of effort you could for sure get an A.

I dreaded taking Professor Shaul because of previous reviews but he and the course were my favorite of the semester. I found him to be quite entertaining. He is a tough professor but gives a shit. He isn't going to hand you your grade you have to earn it. If you do not show up to class you will not pass.

I had a love/hate relationship with guy. Some days i would think he is mean and others i'd think he cares. At the end, he really does care about his students but comes off as mean most times. You are going to have to put in the time and really rewatch the videos he posted. Doing that will help you greatly getting through the assignments. Good luck!

If you want an easy class, do not take this class with Shaul. First time speaking with him he made it clear that he wasn't going to sugar coat anything. He respects you if you show up, especially to office hours. You cant skip a class or else you will fall severely behind. Best advice is to NOT cheat, go to office hours, and show up to class.

Shaul can be harsh and his expectations of students are high. Everything he does comes from a good place; he genuinely cares about his students and wants them to learn. Homework is weekly and never overly complicated. Extra credit can be earned for speaking during class or staying until the end. The textbook is free, but he never really used it.

Coming from someone who usually barley passes classes with C's, I got a B- in his class! Shaul comes off harsh in the beginning, as the semester goes on he gets nicer. Assignments look hard when you read directions but once you get the hang, they are easy. Also he gives random extra credit points for showing up to class so dont miss!

Shaul is severely misunderstood, he comes off rough around the edges, but he is great. I thought he was hilarious. He offers what he calls "insurance" points, extra credit points, throughout the semester & each week has a "free period" day. Go to the "free period" day if you are struggling/need help. He is more than willing to help his students

He is great but put in the work too! It's all Excel and analyzing the data to convey the meaning in the real-world no solving. Lectures are recorded but go because he does "insurance points" to boost grade. Homework is every week but his stat labs are basically him helping you step by step. DON'T go to A+ for HW a bunch of students got in trouble!

If you show up to class and take notes you will be fine (he only used half of his 3-hour time slot). Homework was once a week and it took about an hour or less to complete. Take the practice quiz a bunch and pay attention during review because he will reuse the same questions and answers.

Class can be difficult if you don't show up but he gives out extra credit points and tells you exactly what he's going to test you on. He's kinda boring but the stuff he's teaching is also boring.

Professor Shaul has a unique teaching style, but if you engage with it and use helpful tools like unstuckstudy ai, you can succeed. The workload is manageable, and he offers extra credit opportunities. Overall, a solid MIS course.

Pretty straightforward professor, Don't have to go to class but it does help if you do, 3 quizzes usually 20-30 questions and does a review before the exam that really helps (shows questions that will be on exam). homework once a week and you have a week to complete it. Overall learned a lot and was pretty easy. EC beginning and end of semester.

Shaul has been one of my favorite professors at SDSU. He really cares about his students, its rlly important to build a relationship with him. Staying after lectures to work on the homework and ask him for feedback is one number 1 advice. I recommend going to all his classes and taking notes. Easy if you actually put in the work.

Assignments ramp up in difficulty. His grading becomes super technical without any clear rubric or examples because he wants everyone to write in their own words. Keeps track of attendance and participation. May want to ask him how to score better on major assignments. However, very interesting and awkwardly funny lecturer.

I honestly don't know why his rating isn't better. As long as you show up and put in effort you will pass. I felt dumb a lot but you can ask him and he will help and notice that you're trying. He wants you to succeed. Great lectures.

hands down one of my favorite professors. can be kind of awkward, but super willing to help if asked! class however, is not mandatory but attending lectures helps a ton. he gives you all the resources you need to pass the class. would totally take him again!

I'm not great at math, but Professor Shaul explains stats really well. He cares about students, gives helpful notes, practice quizzes, and lab time. Class is entertaining with funny examples. He isn't cold; talk to him. You have to work, but I learned a lot and enjoyed the class.
