i love this teacher. she is definetly one the best teachers at gpc. she is so easy, so nice, friendly, caring and a wonderful teacher. there is no way you can fail this as long as u meet the easy requirments for her class. if you fail this class there's something wrong with you. she's always there to help you even with even outside class.

Prof Shobe is awesome. She is really nice. It is easy to tell that she just loves teaching; which is a rarity. She is always smiling and is very helpful. No one should have any problems getting an A if they do what is asked of them. I would definitely recommend her.

Kelly Shobe is probably the easiest instructor I've had (in my 11-semester college experience.) Granted it's not a hard class, provided that you show up, but her lenient grading scale is unheard of. Very friendly too! Recommended.

The ski class was a blast, though I didn't see much of Ms. Shobe. The class was taught by ski instructors. Shobe seemed really spacey, but sweet. Students in the hotel partied all night long, which got a bit annoying when we wanted to sleep. Overall, awesome, fun class!!

Very nice teacher! She's real positive and energetic. This class is an easy A. The midterm and final are right off the practice quizzes online. Just practice them, do the lab exercises in the book, be their for the student lectures and you will do well.

Ms. Shobe is sweet. She is a good teacher, she talks fast and lectures most of the class time, but you don't have to take notes. The class itself is pretty basic, an easy A if you do the work and go to class. She says she will deduct 5 points from from your grade for everyday you miss, but I didn't test her to see if it was true.

This teacher was excellent. Read and do the quizzes and you will succeed. There are no surprises. I started an exercise routine that I am still maintaining from this summer. She is also very encouraging in her responses. I took her class Summer 08' online.

I took her class over the summer and it was sooooo fun and easy. As long as you do your assignments and at least halfway read the sections required 4 the test, you'll get an A without problems. :)

online class you will have about 5 short papers, but she grades very graciously if you are not the best writer. There are 4 tests. The tests come directly from the study guide, so go over key terms. 5 discussions. You really need to think out discussion when posting. Dont just give her a short answer. Over all easy class and nice teacher.

I took rof. Shobe online. It was very easy but very educational. I actually enjoyed some of it, even though I'm not a health buff (yeah I know I should be!). Which is why this class is good, as it just may help change your perception of fitness and thats exactly what prof. Shobe wants of us.

She is the absolute best teacher. She never holds the class longer than fifty mintues. There are only two test and they are both straight from the chapter quizzes. I made a 100 in the class without even trying!!

It's always a pleasure to have her for an instructor. She is great. I'm glad I took her for First Aid and CPR. Fairly easy class.

Coach Shobe is great because she's really nice and completely approachable. I took her online and she's a little hard for this class, but her other classes are a lot easier. She also has a discussion question after each exam so that you can bring your grade up 10 points. I would take her again if I had another class to take.

If you want an easy A, this is your professor. I took her class online and it was so easy. She made everything extremely easy to follow and understand. If you miss an assignment, just ask to make it up and she will more than likely let you and all her midterm and final ques. are given to you at the start of the semester as ungraded "quizzes."

Great teacher! Easy class! Got an A and now I am looking into becoming a PE teacher, rather than just early childhood education. She is very quick to respond and answers your questions, rather than skirting around them. Do your study guides and you will do well on the tests. There are also a couple of essays and 1 health project. They are all easy.

The best professor I ever had. The only reason I got a B is because I didn't do half the work, didn't take my midterm and final the days I was suppose to and still passed with a B so if I would've done all the work and done it on time, I would've gotten an A. She tells you up front that nobody should get anything less than an A in this class.

Prof Shobe is very nice, and the class is easy, but there is no structure. There were no clear due dates for assignments, quizzes, etc. In fact, the "due dates" listed for the Spring semester were in August. If you are good at working on your own, this is a great class; but, if you need structure, take someone else.

Took her online. Requires participation through answering questions about chapters. A few written assignments. She is very clear about what she wants. Never got below a B on any assignment. Just follow her directions. She responds very quickly to email. Very nice teacher. Wish GPC had more like her around!

How could someone not give Mrs. Shobe all fives. She is crystal clear on what she expects. Her tests are easy as long as you read. Unlike some online classes, she responds to emails and will even call someone if he or she ask her to. I have recommended her to all my friends.

I had zero interest in the material before taking the class as I needed an elective however once reading the book and working on the assignments I really found it interesting. Professor Shobe is great. This is a pretty easy class and she makes it fun. There are weekly discussions, a few assignments, plus a midterm and a final exam; no other tests or quizzes. The exams are open book, which you'll definitely need because the two tests do go into detail, but it's multiple choice. I got an A+ on my final without studying.

Professor Shobe is a great teacher. I took her course online and anything I submitted she always graded promptly and always left a message on what she thought about it which was always good. She grades on a curve which is good for some of her harder quizzes. Overall I really enjoyed this class, especially the power point assignment.

Professor Shobe is very helpful and interested in her student's success. She is very quick to respond and clearly delineates the course expectations and requirements. I made a 100 in this class & love her. something is due every week like a quiz (only 8), assignment(only 4), or discussion (reply to 3 ppl). its not much tbh and mostly everything is graded for completion except quizzes, midterm, and final. quizzes are 10 questions and super easy. she gives extra credit & easy A if you turn in everything on time

It is evident that Professor Shobe cares about her students. When I had troubles with the class, she was always so accomodating and caring in emails and in her virtual office hours. There were times when aerobic workouts were difficult for me, but in the end, I'm very glad I took this class. I learned a lot, and Professor Shobe is wonderful.

The easiest A+ I got! There are lots of homework but nothing that cannot be easily done. Her lectures and homework are very helpful, things that you can really apply to your life. Very accommodating and cares about her students. Grades your work quickly and gives extra credits. Tests are easy! Take her class!

She's an easy A so I completely recommend her. I was able to get most of my homework done on day 1 because she leaves everything unlocked. It's really just discussions, quizzes, a few easy assignments, and the midterm/final. She also has you record videos of yourself, one for an intro and one of you cooking your own cultural recipe.

If you get the chance, take her class!! It's very easy and has a clear syllabus to follow. I had her online class and it was great. Very simple video projects, only about 2 during the whole semester (don't let this scare u) and easy homework & quizzes.

Take her!! Light workload, very caring teacher, she's amazing! The work is already posted; you should be fine as long as you turn it in by the due date. Even then, she's very understanding if you need a bit more time on assignments. However, please don't abuse that; she's a great professor.

If you ever have the option to take her, do it. She is so approachable, and the workload is light. She explicitly announces what is due for each week. Just do the assignments and you'll do great in the class!!

She is such a nice professor! And her class is actually really interesting, super easy, but you do learn a lot!! I would definitely take her again. Participate in discussions, submit a few assignments (they are interesting and fairly easy), and take a few quizzes. Had a really good experience with this class!

Professor Shobe is very caring and accessible. The class was fun, interactive, and informative. I learned a lot. If you're looking for a break from the regular, this is a great class to take. Just complete the videos and peer responses and you will be fine. She is very fair with grading as well. Bottom line, take the class. She is phenomenal!

Professor Shobe was Awesome. The class was fun, and Professor Shobe is a very caring professor. If you read the material and watch the video, you can easily pass her class. I have learned a lot about healthy eating from attending her class. I didn't know how to calculate calories before, but now I do.

Really nice professor and feedback on work was constant. Not a ton of assignments so easy to manage for a summer course. You do have to interact through discussions regularly, so if that's not your thing oh well. Grading criteria was simple laid out exactly what was needed. Also no textbook which was great and some extra credit too!

Very sweet and understanding instructor. She would go out of her way and give opportunities for her students to success. Very easy work and manageable. She would highlight hints in the module about what would be on the quizzes or exam. Take her!!!!!!!!

She is so kind and smart. The class I took was very interesting, I wish I could take it again. She is the sweetest professor I have ever had!! She is an amazing grader- I wish all professors were like her!

This was a really great class and super easy! You can make an A in the class easily, as long as you complete assignments and tests. I saw many students who failed assignments with 0's, which makes no sense because it was such a simple class with easy tasks. She was really nice and created a fun environment. I would 100% take Mrs. Shobe again!

Very easy class! It's about health and nutrition. Quizzes are easy, a lot of your grade will come from participation and a couple of big assignments. No respondus and she provides chapter overviews with most answers to tests. A breeze of a class, and she is so kind and engaging. Very communicative and accessible!

I dual enrolled this class. This was one of the first professors I've had that I felt genuinely cared about me. She's extremely kind and merciful and her curriculum is laid out plainly and extremely well organized. All assignments are fair, and I enjoyed this class. 100% Would recommend.
