He is a good teacher with alot of good stories. Listen to the stories, learn from them, they are relevant examples. He is a good teacher, but outside the classroom he is not a very personable person.
He is a good teacher. Come to class regularly, take notes, and your bound to do well. Tests are over discussions in class. His stories are relevant to tests, so pay attention. Very good teacher.

Makes Class go by fast. Have ya heard the one about the blueberry farm?
Great Teacher, All Exams Over His Discussions, Pay attention, all of his storys relate to infor, LISTEN AND TAKE NOTES, an you will be fine!
Business Law is presented in such a way that everyone in attendance should grade well! Great Teacher! Love the stories! Ever hear of the White Horse?
you can use notes and study guides on tests take good notes and pay attention and its a pretty good bet that you will do well. Grades on a curve. No research papers or anything just lecture and tests.good guy
keeps the class interesting / has a lot of knowledge / can own up to it if he doesn't
Good Instructor, He grades solely on tests, pay attention in his class, take real good notes, he allows notes on all tests. He grades on a curve. He does talk pretty fast and is a little odd but he's a good instructor.
I had to buy the book, but he never covered anything in it, therefore I never opened it. What a waste. I felt that I did not learn a whole lot about business law but learned a lot about his life experiences
great teacher, listen pay attention and you wlii do just fine
Teacher is not willing to help you if you if you need help. He assumes that everyone understands the material and won't give you extra credit if you need it. Teacher makes you feel like you are stupid. Uses obscene and vulgar language. Not recommended.
If you want to learn about blueberry farms, this is your guy. If you want to learn about business you would be better off watching the news. Yes he does let you use notes on the tests but you have to take good ones. he's hard to follow.
I enjoyed his class and did very well in it!
I loved his class and found hin to be extremely charismatic and willing to help those who help themselves!!!
Intro to business was the course. Very interesting, well explained.
Good teacher easy to follow. If you take good notes you will pass. He does a great job using real life situations he had. He does however take points off for poor attendance. Other than that he is great.
If you take good notes and come to class for the lestures you will do fine. He does not like tardiness and takes attendance. His tests are a little difficult, but if you take good notes you are fine. He talks alot about his personal life experiences and refers to them daily. Do not speak up.
he is very nice and does a good job on explaining things. i had a good time in your class. take good notes and you will get a good grade.
Overall it's an OK class. He asks for input, but doesnt really want any as is evident in the way he accepts feedback. Uses the 'Beep, wrong answer thanks for playing' line a bit to often. He does offer students extra credit if you ask, dont wait till your final exam to ask though. Duh :P
he can be a difficult teacher depending on how u learn. if u learn well by listening and can write fast he is an easy teacher and his classes don't require u to study...if u have a problem keeping up u will have problems , his test come from in class, not the book. I learned alot of useful things.
professor wasn't horrible, but the class was somewhat hard...especially if you are new to business like i was. wanted his students to take detailed notes, but he always seemed to get off track. other than that it was a decent class.
I did just above average the whole class, but ended up with a 4.0. I'm not complaining, though.
Keep all notes for this class!

If you take good notes you will pass. He teaches you the application of what you learned, you do not need to memorize a lot but you will learn.
He couldn't keep his personal views to himself. Most of what he talked about didn't have anything to do with the class. The worst professor I've ever had.
Don't sit in front row he sometimes spits whhen he speaks
good profesor, teaches you what you need to know.
Mr. Anderson is Hilarious. I had him for an 8 am class and i actually liked attending class. Take notes and can use on test. He is helpful and relates the material to real life stuff
I find this Professor to be mean. He will ask you a question but will not let you respond.not what I expected I could pass this class if I had a professor that cared about people mott should give u more choices of professor, for each subject.I really didn't have a choice I needed this class. do not take this Tryant for busn.law 1
Great teacher. Sits after class to talk about anything that you didn't understand or whatever else you would discuss. Keeps on track and is not sidetracked like a lot of other teachers. If you are taking business take him. He knows what he's talking about.

Overall he is a good instructor. I didn't really have a lot of interaction with him. A few clerical errors on the tests. Let's you use your notes on the tests, so your test grades depend on how you study and the effort you put into your note taking.
Taking this class online, so no interaction necessary with the teacher. Study guides - very helpful, but make sure to highlight all the terms in the book to find easily during an exam. The exams are easy enough to not have to read the book, but it is necessary for exams. Easy A-B.
Took this class online. The tests were hard, but he did offer extra credit and help when needed.
awesome to teach would do his class over
This course is way tougher than I thought it would be.I'm taking it distance learning. He said we could use his reviews & the book on tests, but his reviews are just his unorganized notes & the book seems irrelevant.Tests consist of long, detailed story problems that make them difficult to reason thru. I'm an A student & am barely pulling a B.TOUGH
I think hes a great teacher. He does not waste your time, he get's right down to the important stuff. He's very laid back. Tests are all based on lecture, so don't miss class, & take good notes. He doesn't use the text book much. He has a great teaching style, and makes boring business concepts interesting. He's funny too.
Distant learning. Notes do not make sense and says he doesn't use the book that much. I guess answers for the tests fall from the sky. Not a good class to get the right information for continuing in the business field. Only respones to e-mails and restricted times to meet face to face. Not a tactful teacher on the e-mails.
He knows what hes talking about but doesnt focus much on students who dont know much about business. tests were based only on lectures. he doesn't keep anything interesting so its easy to get distraced. when he tells his own personal stories (which are a lot), i wouldn't recommend believeing 50% of it.
boring. Doesnt talk about relevent things to the class. Can't break things down to a student's level
This teacher is boring and just talks about random events in his life. He makes it hard to understand the material and also he is very rude for no reason. I would avoid this teacher if possible.
Mr. Anderson is intellectually diverse, charming, and completely accessible.Do yourself a favor and take this class!
I like the class, I think he is a good professer. Yea he talks about his personal stories but they are related to what he is talking about. He teaches class and we get out of there.
This is the worst teacher I ever had. He is a self centered, arragant lawyer. He spends to much time talking about himself. He is confusing, he make learning hard. If you already know about law you will do ok in his class. If you don't, count on getting a 2.0 or less in his class. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
I can't beleive they pay this clown. He comes to class ****. But, I heard if you hang out at the White Horse and drink with him he will pass you.
Need to go to class to pass this class. Tests mostly off of lectures. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU DON'T LIKE TAKING NOTES!! Tests are complicated. Does allow you to use your notes on test.
Needs to improve interaction between students and instructor.
Distance learning class. This class is extremely tuff! Anderson does say that this class is hard, but I never expected it to be this hard! I am a A student and eas happy to get a C+. Study guides are difficult to understand. Do the reading and take ood notes. Good luck!
I just completed my second class with this so called teacher. This was my sixth semister at Mott, and he is the only teacher I can say is the worst ever! If you have to take any of Mr. Andersons classes, do yourself a favor and find another Professor, change your schule around if you have too. This is a guy you want to avoide. As noted, very arrgant
Do yourself a favor, do not take any of Mr. Anderson?s classes. This is the worst teacher I have ever had. I don?t know why Mott continues to let this arrogant jerk teach (if that?s what you want to call it) at their school. If you have to take any Business or Management classes you?ll learn more from Dr. B or Mr. Londrigan. Of course if you don?t
I took a distance learning in business law. He failed to impress me in the hour we met for orientation. But he didn't need to--I read the book and took the tests. There were a few ambiguous questions and answers on the multiple choice tests, but other than that, the class wasn't hard. From the other comments, I'm glad I took distance learning!
I took this as a distant learning class and did horrible. There was no instruction at all from the professor. I did well in other DL classes. I emailed for help and never got a reply from him. I got a 40% on my business plan that was almost identical to the business plan for my other class that got a 90%. Would not recommend this class.
its not a hard class because there is no instuction, pretty much failing cuz i dont understand the matial without any instuction from the teacher at all. basically useless as a class and the teacher isnt helping make me think its relavant at all
Useless teacher. Does not teach out of the book, you have to take notes to pass his exams. All he talks about is blueberries and beer!!!Very rude when you ask a question and belittles people in front of the class.
Anderson is the man!..anyone who doesnt like him are the dorks who though now they were in college no one will tease them anymore!.....WRONG!...
His tests come straight from his lectures, he lets you out 20 minutes early almost every time, and he clearly loves drinking and farming blueberries. He may not be serious much of the time, but if you take the class itself seriously and don't miss class often, you will do very well.
Drinkn & Blueberries is all fair game. My advice...take lots of notes and ask all questions after everyone else has left. His policy seems to be that if you don't need any help please feel free to leave, but if u do need help, he will be more than happy after his lectures.
Tests are mainly from lectures, which are better than the book. He has real business experience and it shows. If you don't do well in his class, it would be because you didn't didn't come to class, take efficient notes or ask questions. He is excellent! I hadn't planned to take this class-But, now I hope to have him for Business Law.
Mr Anderson is a good teacher, he really does care about his students. His test's are not easy, but if you pay attention and take notes then you will do good. I reccomend anyone to Mr. Anderson.
not a hard instructor if u study the material and take good notes.
he was a very hard teacher who was not clear in what he was saying in emails at all. he has an air about him that makes you feel insuperior to him just because you do not understand something. i would never recommend his classes to anyone. before you sign up for a class of his, think again.
Hes a very nice guy and i have him for two classes and he always can relate the material in a easy to understand way and he always lets the class out more than a hour early without loss of material
He is hilarious but sometimes he gets off on a rant and doesn't finish what he was telling us
Not that hard. The tests are tough, but he curves them so much so you end up doing pretty well. Anderson is pretty funny for being old. I liked him and I liked the class. He definitely knows what he is talking about. Ken was or still is an attorney, he knows his stuff and taught us a lot of useful information.
I have taken two classes with Mr. Anderson very nice easy going teacher. He is funny and makes class fun! Attendance isn't mandatory but his tests are based directly off his lectures and study guides. ALL test are open notes so if you attend class and take good notes you should pass with flying colors! Mr. Anderson also lets you off class early.
Show up and take notes and you'll do well. Open note tests, all curved VERY heavily. No way you could possibly fail his classes.
I'm not a business major but this class was still required for me. Ken is an older guy with a sense of humor. He also is very knowledgeable and helpful. Take notes and you will be fine.
Anderson is a good guy with a lot of experience in the entrepreneurship aspect of business. All tests are open note and from class lecture rather than from the text book.
REPORT TO CLASS IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THINGS THAT ARE NOT IN THE BOOK.
He teaches well. If you attend class and follow his notes, which he gives you, you will do well. He controls his class room. This is not high school. No cell phones or talking in class. I loved it. He is funny but he expects you to be prepared for class so read the assignments. The tests are easy if you study. He gives you everything for the final
Very nice, funny, and helpful guy, just come to class and take good notes and you cant fail
Grades very easy, if you show up and take notes it is impossible to fail. Always willing to stay after class and help you as an individual. Ken tries to make dry information more fun with his stories and jokes, overall great experience, I would recommend him to any Business students.
Funny guy. Keeps the class interested and will occasionally buy a student coffee to wake them up. He uses personal experience in the business world not scrap out of the book. Really down to earth but not always politically correct. Entertaining, easy-grading professor.
Mr. Anderson is an excellent lecturer. His exams are tough, but if you come to class and take good notes, you'll do fine in the course. He allows you to use your notes and study guides for the test. He's very funny with a great personality. Please remember to refrain from your cell phones during class. He doesn't put up with it.
Subject is hard, teacher is sarcastic and crude. Makes class easy enough, though.
I have had Anderson for intro to business and business law. Has a great personality and will make you laugh. If you show up and take good notes you will do well. You do not need the book though, all the material is based on his lectures and I wish I would have known to save money on the books!!! Great teacher and I would definitely recommend.
He is absolutely hilarious! Makes the material very easy to understand because he actually is a business man and he relates everything to real life situations. All the reviews saying hes mean and acts superior are from people who can't take a joke. All notes are from the lecture, you don't even need your book! And he loves his blueberries and beer!
Great instructor with lots of stories....
I had Mr. Anderson for spring session there are 4 tests, attendance, and participation are accounted for he's fair he does not do powerpoints so you have to pay close attention everything is on the test that he gave you in class he will let you use notes and the study guide for each test
WORSE teacher ever! Absolutely rude to all people, if you ask for clarification (on a bazaar topic that he talked about) he will beat around the bush and not answer it or say "not to be discourteous, but your getting ahead of me" His lectures are all BS stories and you are to take the information out of it. tests are open note but...
If you listen to his stories and take notes from them-they will be on the tests. Rarely used the book. He's tactless and often didn't understand students questions, but if you wait, he covered most of them anyway. Tests came right out of the study guide (you can use on the test) that he gives you and grades on a curve.
He's alright. Had him for Business Law and it was a challenge. He's super funny, but not very clear. Lot's of stories, and he doesn't like to answer questions (his only response is "not to be discourteous but...).
I liked Professor Anderson far better than I thought I would at the beginning of the semester. He is good at lecturing and makes everything relatable. He's tough, but be there, pay attention and take good notes. He makes his criteria known right from the get go. He's so funny in his story telling. I'm looking forward to having him again.
I loved Mr. Andersen. He is very dry, but he was always on point. His lectures stories, and can put you to sleep.
I had Mr. Anderson for business law and intro to business. He is one of the best instructors I've had. Attendance counts! There is barely any homework, just be sure to pay attention during lectures. So long as you pay attention, take notes, and are mentally present in class you cannot fail. By the way, he grades on a HUGE curve!
Funny guy would definitely recommend
I enjoyed having him as a professor.
It's great that Mr. Anderson says he's retiring after this semester because I do not recommend him at all. Sure, he's a funny guy, and he lets you use notes and study guides on the tests but when it comes to the test, nothing is related to the study guide or what he talked about. I think most of the class is a C average and that's WITH the curve.
