Great class. A little boring if you are not interested in politics but very informative. Just study the test guide and study the last four essay questions because they are exactly what is on the test. As long as you study the essay questions and the midterm paper plus the extra credit, you can pass with a good grade.

I took this online. He was a Great teacher. He was very helpful. If you have a question, he gets back to you in a timely manner. Yes, there is a lot of reading, however, it is necessary in order to prepare for the tests. His weekly modules are very interesting and his test format is set-up to help students understand Poli with ease.

I took his 4 weeks online class. It was really low pressure and his tests are easy. All you need to do is fill out the study guide and write down where you found each answer in his lecture (reading it is a must). The paper is easy:it is just about what you think. Lectures are long but filled with pictures and formatted well! Great online teacher!

Great teacher! When taking his online class, don't bother purchasing the main textbook, though the one he wrote, Eminent Domain: A Dream Turned Nightmare, was very helpful with the term paper. Take everyone else's advice with a grain of salt.I took the online class and I had a hard time with this class. Unlike a number of people's quotes, baxter had a lot of bookwork on the tests. His test are hard and very meticulous. I don't know if he changed the diffuculty of his online class but I found it extremely hard.

online class was is easy if you do the work. discussions are easy, just restate what you read. USE THE STUDYGUIDE!i failed the first test but passed the others with the help of the studyguides. there is a paper to write but you get an A as long as you did it. i got my paper graded with an A the same day i turned it in.

The teacher is easy, just do your work. I wish I had this in class so I could understand the concepts a little more. All the questions in your test are in your study guide and book. Keep them handy. He also responds back to you quickly. I enjoyed taking him for an internet class. Would recommend him to everyone.

Baxter?s online class was well structured: three exams (which includes final), weekly postings, one research paper and LOTS of reading required. Use ALL online textbook tools to study for exams as well as his review sheets. An A is definitely attainable with some work. If you don?t like to read/write this isn?t the class for you.

This class is extremely easy as long as you do all your work. Easy A if you are smart. I got a B since i didn't turn in my paper... the teacher was very understanding though and would have let me turn it in a few days late, but I felt as though i didn't deserve it, so i didnt't. Online. Long lectures, but thorough. Tests are 50 q's in 60 min. so you need to use the study guide he provides. Didn't use books because his lectures were enough. Professor Baxter is well-organized and extremely knowledgeable, especially about California law. I took his class online over the summer; you have six discussions, three tests and a term paper. It's not an unreasonable load at all. The tests are mostly based on his lecture guides, so make sure to read them. Do well on the paper and it's an easy A.

I took this class online for the spring. The class is very straight forward. Baxter lets you know from day 1 what the class will consist of (which is mainly one discussion per week. not bad at all!), He has 3 exams including the final. One term paper which is 1500 word count. I love Baxter great teacher. You have a term paper at the end of the class. 3 main test and you must study because it is timed just enough for you to answer if you know the material. Using the book during a test will not work.

Took the class online Fall 2013, workload is easy and reasonable. Requires weekly post/comment for total of 140pts, 1 Term paper for 100pts and you can finish it anytime in the semester and turn it in early, 1 Midterm and 1 Finals 100pts each. He answers email and post promptly. Study his modules and you'll be fine, he's fair and helpful.i got a B.

Replies to e-mails quickly with needed information. As long as you do discussion you get 10 points and the term paper is very easy. Tests are a little difficult, but doable.

This class took little time out of my week. There are weekly discussions (basically passfail, I got 1010 every time with little effort)- VERY easy points and contribute a lot, don't miss any! There are 3 tests (also very easy) and 1 very simple paper. Easy A and I learned SO much too! He's so friendlycool, I wish I could've actually met him!

class was ok. You read the module which i never did and discussion once a week and thats it. Never cracked open the book wasn't helpful at all so save ur cash n don't buy it the modules r enough. there are 3 tests and 1 term paper. The only thing is, there isn't much to be graded on so you have to do good on the test, term paper was easy.

Took him online. The tests are tough but they are multiple choice or true/false. Discussions are a must in this class (online class remember) and the papers could be tricky. I did receive passing grades on the papers, but don't sell the papers short. I did pass the overall class and he does respond to emails.

I took his poli sci 1 class online and it was the easiest class I have ever taken. There's only 17 discussions, 3 tests, and an easy paper. He's clear with his instructions, and the tests are easy as long as you read the modules. I haven't ever used the text book, so save the money on that. Overall, awesome teacher and easy as pie class!

Discussions were the only thing that was easy. 3 Tests were hard for me. I used the modules but couldn't find any answers and you only get an hour. Term paper is 1500 words, way too much. This class messed up my grade point average. He seems to be organized , but for me this class was difficult.

An amazing Professor, he truly does care about his students and their understanding of politics. I did not really need the book at all in this class, his notes gave everything needed for the tests which were very fair. the discussions were fun and simple, the only tough assignment in the class was the term paper, but he gives you the whole semester

Easy political science class for a short time frame. Essay were easy as long you chose a topic you like,Test were easy straight forward. The entry long /journal is attendance very easy. If you have a small or heavy load it is easy.

His grading focuses on the test. You have a weekly discussion but don't stress over them. If you participate you get the points. The test are a little difficult if you don't read or follow his modules. I passed all four. Some were very low but I passed the class with a B.

Took his online political science class and it was honestly the easiest class I ever took. You have to participate in a weekly discussion thread based on the readings for the week so prepare to read a lot. There is a term paper. His lectures are easy to understand and quizzes are easy as long as you read the material beforehand. Great prof overall.

Majority of the points are in the tests and term paper so you have to do good in those and the tests are difficult. MUST read lectures to pass tests. You only have 1 hour so you don't have time to look up the answers. Do NOT buy the books, do not use.

This class was not hard. Any student who says differently on here is really just lazy. There are a lot of discussions, four exams (including the final) and one term paper that is 1,500 words. I promise, that is NOT a lot of words. I completed that a few hours before it was due and received 98/100. Just put in work and you will be fine!

Took this class on 5/27/2019 - 7/5/2019 super easy class. No textbook required for online. He gives you his notes to read which is amazing. To pass the test, just read. It's all about repetitions and getting a good understanding of Political Science.

There were 16 discussions, one for each week. He does not care about word count or responding to classmates, just the quality of your response. He has his lectures on 20 page PDFs. There are 3 tests: 2 midterms and a final. They are 50 questions, 25 MC and 25 T/F, timed for 1 hour. There is a term paper due at the end, try to get a head start.

Took his class online during the summer. There were weekly discussions (just your personal opinion), 3 exams, and 1 term paper (on a topic of your choice). The exams are based on the study guides posted on canvas. The textbook is not required, since all the information can be found in the lectures. I would highly recommend this taking class.

Took his 4 weeks online class in summer. one 1500 words essay; a topic of your choice. post about something in discussion boards each week n you got the points. 3 tests. 25 multiple choice 25 true and false. he provides pdfs of each lesson but I did see questions in tests that referred to the book so it's up to you if you want the book. that's it!

He posts lecture notes on canvas with all the information you need for the tests and discussion posts, so there is no need to buy the book. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!! easiest class ever!!!! if you do the weekly discussions and reply to 1-2 people you will easily get 100%, as for the tests, they are straight from the lessons so you just gotta read them! He is extremely nice and grades super easy! The final essay is a minimum 1500 words and it's pretty easy.

The sweetest professor. He grades quickly and responds really quickly too and explains everything really well. You will learn a lot! He knows his stuff and is very passionate about what he teaches--you'll see right away. You don't need either textbook--he provides notes and zoom lectures covering everything. This class is a godsend. TAKE HIM. Prof literally gives no work and his paper is easy as well. He grades really quick and his tests are all on quizlet. This is an easy pass with a 100 if you log in once a week that's enough. You don't need the textbook cause he has notes and his lectures are optional. A real gem I wish I had him for all my classes.
