great class. i learned alot. and i must say, hes my dads age but DAMN! i couldnt stop staring at him all through class! totally hot for an older guy!

He explaines everything very clearly and if you do bad on an essay you can rewrite it for a better grade. this is the easyest english class i have ever taken, dont get me wrong i also learned a few things.he is very understanding and wants you to do well.

Never had him at Saddleback, had him at Capo and yes he's the chillest teacher...Mr. Kaefer's my dad...I am still laughing about that comment on how hot he is!!! hahaha

He is so awesome teacher! he's lecture is very clear and intersting.However, this class has so many Quizes and paragraphs, but, you just forcus on study you be fine. Therefore, Midterm exam and final exam are both of easy. If you have to take E300 class, I recommend this class( By the way, I'm ESL student)

Very laid back professor, listens to students and answers them without holding back... his cool! All you have to do, to get a easy A= Two research papers, short papers, speech, and exams.

Kaefer is the best!! He is extremely easy, and class is easy. Better than any english teacher so far. Paragraphs once a week and some exercises from the book, but not to much homework overall. Layed back personality. Takes role in the beginning, but slacks off towards the end of the semester. Take him if you can!!

Easy class. You can rewrite the essays

The class is super easy just make sure you do all the hw. He lets you redo essays and is super helpful. He also gave us about 10 extra credit assignments!

Kaefer is the best! Super sweet guy, always willing to help. His class was pretty easy. There are quizzes each week on reading in the textbook (usually 2-4 pages long) and you have an essay at least once every two weeks. He makes all the assignments very clear and sets every student up for success; just do the work! Would definitely recommend.

Kenny is the man! Took him for both 1A and 1B and got an A in both. Is super easy and very clear for what needs to be done on essays and homework. Offers a lot of extra credit and gives you a ton of handouts.

Super easy class, just show up, do the homework( not much) and do the reading each week for the quizzes( they aren't bad at all). The essays are pretty simple as well, you are given plenty of samples and the grading criteria is very clear. Plenty of extra credit as well. Seriously take his class if you can, my writing has significantly improved.

I loved professor Kaefer! He was very clear on what the essays would be about. There are quizzes each week ok short readings from the reading which was a piece of cake. He offers tons of extra credits. I wish he was teaching eng 1B next semester. I would definately take him. Make sure to go to class because you learn something new each time !

I am so glad I took Kaefer's class. He so calm and easy going. He collects late work and his quizzes are a piece of cake. I always read the story in class before I took the quiz and always got a good grade. Take him if you want an easy A and if you want your writing style to improve.

Prof Kaefer is such a great professor. My writing really improved taking his class. There's one "oral presentation" that you must present your essay to the class (easy). Quizzes are easy too as long as you read what is assigned. And please, please don't use your phone or be late to the class constantly, it's just rude for such a great professor.

Probably the best English teacher! He is super nice, gives really good feedback and actually cares! I just feel bad for him because I have him at 8AM and nobody responds to him when he says Good Morning! I try my best to say it but I'm pretty much dead at 8AM. Would take him again but I couldn't fit him in my schedule.

I took him first semester in saddleback, and I couldn't believe I can get such a good professor for English. His class is based on weekly quizzes from book articles which is super easy and 4 easy topic essays. lots of extra credit and by end of the semester if you have good grade in his class you dont need to take the final.

Essays (2-3 pages), easy weekly quizzes( always picks such interesting, short readings for the 10 question quiz's). such an intelligent guy!! Very caring, gives out lots of extra credit. Take this teacher honestly one of the best teachers I have taken. Easy A because he is forgiving on his grading with corrections, extra credit and test.

Professor Kaefer is interesting to listen to and has engaging assignments. He doesn't have an agenda, other than encouraging students to think for themselves. He cares about the students, offers extra credit, and assignments are spaced out through the semester. The only negative is his cursive is difficult to decipher. You won't be disappointed.

Professor Kaefer is amazing! I was never a big fan of English, but taking his class made me love English now. He gives great feedback/suggestions for essays. Read the book and you will do just fine on the quizs. He replys the next day if you have any questions. DO take his class, you will not regret it.

The best part was that he bonded with all the students forming a relationship with all of us getting to know us so he could understand all of us l students individually.

Overall chill guy, really just seems like he wants his students to succeed. In ENG1 you write 4 essays throughout the semester that he gives multiple weeks to write despite only needing to be 4ish pages. Easy grader and extra credit is offered on every paper. definitely take him if you have the chance.

Easily my favorite ENG1A professor. He's very calm, understanding and professional. He does a great job preparing you for each essay. He truly wants to help every student achieve good grades in this course. As long as you complete your homework carefully, you will easily get full marks and additional credits. For each assignment, you will receive feedback (especially for the Essay, he will carefully revise it for you and give you suggestions).

Assignments are super easy, super straightforward instructions, you'll pretty much always get full credit on anything you turn in, lots of EC offered (15-30 points), and leaves encouraging feedback on everything. You'll have to do 4 essays where the grading is stricter. Super easy class, ended with 104%.
