Only English class I've ever enjoyed the assigned reading in. Panda makes significant improvements in your writing. He's real cool, but his gradings a little tough. Hes alwasy there for help though. One of the best professors, everyone should take him

Only English class I ever liked, I'm a math/science person and got an A-. Read the stories and books which are pretty good, and make comments during class. He's very helpful and always willing to sit down and help. Take this teacher.

Panda is pretty cool compared to other english teachers ive heard about. we've only had to write 3 papers, including the research paper. but they were interesting topics and his discussions in class were always helpful and interesting. good sense of humor, and answered any questions you had.

Panda is a very cool guy who teaches pretty well. You may not get an A in the class, but you won't get a D either, and you will learn A LOT. Since you have to take ENGL110, you may as well take it with someone you'll like...Professor Panda.

One of the best teachers I have ever had, he is truly enthusiastic about the subject, not to mention a fore-most expert in his specialization. Classes are interesting and the work is comprised of 3 papers. Very easy, very fair grading, and you will actually learn to be a better writer! Take him!

KP is one of the only professors at UD that I actually enjoyed learning from. His class is interesting and stimulating, especially given the fact that the material was sometimes (in my opinion) dry and heavy reading. Take this class, enjoy the bread.

Classes were cancelled often due to conferences.Readings are given, but not necessary to pass.I got an A

Great teacher, really cares about the students. He made class interesting during our discussions of the readings and he doesn't give quizzes. Only assignements that had to be handed in were 2 essays and a research paper. I highly recommend him to anyone taking E110.

very fun teacher. makes topics very interesting. very anal about thesis but overall grades fairly easy. approachable after class but rarely responds back to emails. 2 short papers and 1 final research paper. if you are going to take engl110 i reccomend taking it with panda.

I did not read a single book. I spark noted everything and went to every class. Having a general idea of the stories in addition to class discussions that are super interesting you should do fine. The stories are actually very interesting and class discussion was very good. We watch a bunch of movies. I would definitly take Panda again!

take e110 with panda-there are only 3 essays the entire year (including the research paper). and hes a fair grader. he is so helpful and makes the class really interesting. such a chill guy -highly recommended.

Panda is awesome. He is very interesting and has a lot of real life experience. If you pay attention, go to the writing center for advice, and actually talk to him and appear to be interested, you will be fine. He knows when you write your papers the night before and will grade accordingly.

Panda was a pretty good guy. The books we read weren't too bad, and the papers we had to write in class were pretty easy. He's just a pretty friendly guy and easy to maintain interest in class.

Panda is hands down my favorite professor. He is very clear on what he expects from you - the books he asks us to read aren't that long and they're interesting. Class simply consists of showing up and discussing what was read. There are a few short papers and a research paper with clear guidelines 1010 would take any other class he taught.

A good amount of reading of boring books. Lectures are NOT important but he takes attendance. Recommend bringing a computer to do other work. 4 papers and 1 term paper. Pick any topic fairly graded

YO Panda is the man. If you are a non-english major then you'll love Panda. I didn't learn a whole lot about writing, but he always lead thought provoking class discussions and had a fun time in class. I didn't feel like it was a waste of time like with some profs, but I also didn't feel overwhelmed by this class. Cool guy to talk to as well.

Really great english professor and overall cool guy. Most of his class is just discussion with a few assignments here and there. Doesn't stick to the syllabus though so finding out when assignments are due can be confusing.

I absolutely loved professor panda. He is the coolest and chilliest professor I've had. The work is very reasonable and he gives you plenty of time for assignments. Class isn't even boring because the discussions are interesting and even funny at times. Would definitely recommend him for english 110!!!
