Great teacher and all aroung great guy. I learned a lot from him. He doesn't like to lecture so the more class dicussions you have the better. But his tests are REALLY HARD.

He's a really nice guy, but I just couldn't get into his class. If you take it, don't take the once a week class, it's awful. He's still a great teacher, and I'm sure I'd have liked it more if it was a twice a week.

He is a passionate guy and cares alot about what he is teaching. His lectures are interesting and his tests are straight from the text. Take this class you will do great

ken was a great teacher! he explained everything very well and kept the attention of the class by showing videos, speeches, and had students present lectures on some chapters. we always got study guides and and the final had questions from all the quizes which helped.

Awesome teacher. Lets you take the opportunity to really memorize the information. You can get an A in this class if you try! Make sure to take every advantage that is offered! Very personable and personality combines with looks for hot factor!

He's a really good teacher. Not at all intimidating and very easy to get along with. Interesting lectures, though I've never been big on watching a lot of videos in class, which you have to. The tests are challenging but not impossible.

Pretty Easy A, but skips over many, many subjects within this class. You spend a lot of time watching videos vs. lectures. I did not learn as much as I had hoped. We did not even cover STDS! This class is BlAND.

It was a pretty fun class and he is a very understanding and thorough teacher. He didn't cover everything I was hoping to cover and he played too many videos. It was a pretty easy grade if you turn everything in.

Ken Snell does what he does best and his classes show it. He gives you the tools to get a good grade but you have to read the book to do so. Follow his game plan and you'll enjoy the class and get the grade you deserve. Human Sexuality is hard but fun!!! Gen Psych is taught as it should be taught. Definitely take Ken Snell at FLC.

Snell Rocks!! Alot of memorizing and reading. If you apply yourself your bound to get an A. He is straight forward and so are the tests. Alot of info is covered in a short amount of time. Group presentation is usually required as well. Very helpful, awesome professor, great guy in general! If you have a choice, go with Ken Snell.

Lecutres are very direct and meaningful, due to the fact that some of the answers for the study guide are off of the Power Point presentations. The test are very closely corrilated with the study guide which is very helpful.

He is a really great teacher. He really wants all his students to do well. If you study hard you will do well in his class. He no longer allows open book/notes on quizzes but they are passible if you study. He made me want to major in pysch, so that is the best endorsement I can give. Would take another of his classes for sure, he's a great teacher

The best psych teacher I have ever had.Mixes his style of teaching with videos and ineractive activities.Direct and straight forward, wil not be surprised by quiz/test questions. Just answer the study guides and you'll definetely get an A.Recommend to take his psych300 class!

He's a really easy teacher. He lectures some with power points, and he uses a lot of videos which are kind of fun. His quizes are the study guides that he gives you. The tests are from the quizes. There's one group presentation, but you can do a term paper instead. But it can be a hard class.

Very satisfied summer school experience. Multi-faceted course as Ken uses media and lecture/PPT. He uses BBoard for tests and quizzes which was great!!

Snell is AWESOME!! Out of all of my professors he is my favortie, plus he's hot! He's very helpful. Everytime i emailed him, he emailed me back. He definitely knows a lot about all psychology. The study guides are huge help, do them because they are pretty much the exact questions on the quizzes/tests. I highly recommend him.

Class is not that interesting but showing up is part of your grade. There are times that he even gives you extra credit for staying. Extremely interesting reading, and do read because you need to for the study guides. Also do the study guides because they are the quizzes, just all mixed around. If you put the effort, easy A. Recommended.

easy class. show up if you want. all tests/ quizzes are online open book open notes except last test. if you can't get at least a B in this class, you need help mentally. lectures are kind of boring but you get extra credit for showing up. will def need the text book. very down to earth laid back professor. recommended!

Mr. Snell was a great teacher. I would recommend him to any student. In his human sexuality course he made a potentially ackward class easy to talk about and really fun. If you're worried about missing class dont you wont want to, although he got fed up with kids leaving at break and not coming back he started taking points off for missing class.A+

I didn't think it was possible to make a class about sex boring, but Snell achieved it. His lectures are straight from the book so if you read, they're repetitive and a waste of time. Iclickers were fun! And I loved the gay/lesbian guest speakers! Tests are online and open book, so it was a very easy class. Do the study guides! They ARE the test!

If you can't pass this class, you should quit school. Easiest class I have ever taken. All tests online open notes open book. Attendance extra credit. Easy assignments. Provides study guides. EASY

loved this class once a week did all quizzes and test online. fill out study guides and you will ace the quiz/tests. group projects for second half of the year kind of boring but loved the class would take professor snell again anytime.

Very very good teacher. He is kind, helpful and considerate. Summer school class was a condensed course but, it went well. I learned about Psychology and myself. I would take a class from him again.

Awesome teacher, took Human Sexuality with him fall of last year and passed the class with a C. This was in my slack off phase and still managed to pass somehow >.<... Great examples, lots of videos, nice/helpful/ cool guy/ funny guy.. Kudos for sure!

Prof Snell is awesome. I took him for Human Sexuality, He sets clear expectations, gives awesome study guides before tests, and offers a good amount of extra credit. He teaches the material well, and supplements it with interesting info. Always engaging students and available for help.

Snell is a great teacher! He's very laid back and approachable, which is especially helpful for a class like Human Sexuality. The homework assignments are easy and the tests are online. He usually lets us out of class early, too. I highly recommend Snell for Human Sexuality or any other psychology class.

Super easy class if you just do the study guides - you can use them on your quizzes which are online. the final is just the quizzes so just study but other than that you dont have to show up to class ever. prety cool class overall you learn some cool stuff if you are interested in psychology

Easy, mellow, professor. A real world professor, not one who has been stuck in academia for so long that he is out of touch. Interesting life story. Do the study guides! They are your quizzes! Quizzes are online, final is comprehensive, big group project presenting on a chapter.

He teaches a difficult subject without embarrassing himself or the class. I'm not sure how he pulls it off but he does. This class and professor are both very interesting and you will learn more than you thought possible about human sexuality. The class is certainly worth taking even if you think you know all there is to know!

Good teacher. Keep up on the readings and come to class for the lectures and do the study guides and you'll pass the class. when he suggests getting a study group together you should! it really helps.

Very easy class. Just show up, read the material, fill out the study guides and do the project. Practically no homework other than reading. The study guides ARE your quizzes so do them! Interesting and overall easy class.

Professor Snell is an amazing teacher. It's an easy class as long as you do the study guides, you'll do good on the tests. There are 6 quizzes(about every other week), 2 tests(midterm, end of semester), and the final. Very little homework. He makes class fun with the guest speakers. Taking another class with him next semester. Highly recommend him!

This clas isn't just about sex. It's a very intersting class and you will learn a lot from the awesome professor. Having guest speakers made the class more interesting. The quizzes and tests are taken on D2L and is obviously open book and notes. Do the study guides, they are the same questions on the test. Recommend this class and professor! C:

VERY easy class. Everything is online (except for tests and final) and the study guides are pretty much the quiz/test questions. As long as you do the work, it should be an easy A. Plus Professor Snell is a very nice and understanding man.

I took him for 300 & 356- both classes required minimal reading, study guides cover the exams with answers in text/lecture. Quizzes are online and no homework. He is a little boring for 300-lectures off powerpoints. 356 was more interesting and did a great job of making people feel comfortable, had interestng guest speakers, projects etc

Awesome teacher! He is very clear, interesting lectures! Uses videos and youtube to teach tools. He is funny and the class was very interesting!

BEST PROFESSOR! The two people who spoke badly of him are completely offbase. I attended both classes and they were great. Out of 16 sessions, 3 times he has students do group projects in Psych300. He runs the Psych departments at all Los Rios colleges. Don't be a lazy student! He wrote all the lectures, and seems to love what he does. RECOMMENDED!

Prof. Snell is AMAZING! He is the most wonderful teacher I have ever had. He cares so much about his students & truly wants you to succeed. He gives you all the opportunities to do well in his course and makes his material fun and easy to understand. I highly recommend him to other students. Pay attention when he lectures & his Q&T's can be easy.

Great teacher. I studied for about an hour a week outside of class lectures and earned an A. We did spend a lot of time doing student presentations (which got a little boring) but other than that, a great class and I learned a lot!

Prof Snell is a great teacher. If you attend his class,and read the chapters there is no reason you shouldn't get an A. All quizzes are open book, tests are pretty easy and the final consists of questions that have already been asked on the quizzes and tests. he also gives ectra credit that you can or can't do. he also drops the lowest test score.

Awesome professor, really helpful, allows late homework for partial credit. 3 homework assignments, 6 quizzes (open book) 2 tests, and 1 final based on all quizzes. You learn a lot as well which I liked. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Easiest class ever take. Professor is super nice. It is very low key, non raunchy class for a human sexuality class. I am a prude and was kinda scared but it was very professional.

Loved this class. Looked forward to it everyday. Though 85% of your grade is based on quizzes, tests, and the final, it should be an easy A. Quizzes are online and tests and finals come directly from the quizzes, so just take notes on the quizzes and study them. Fun class!

He pretty much just repeats the main points of the chapter with out going into heavy detail. He doesn't really stray from the same set up. If he didn't take role there would be no point in going. But he is pretty nice.

Great Professor! There are 6 quizzes, all are online&open book. There are 2 tests& final, which all of the questions are based off of the quizzes you take. Go to class, participate, study, and you will get an A. There is a group presentation that you do, but don't let that scare you off, it's really not bad at all. I would definitely recommend!

This class was extremely easy. The tests are are based off the quizzes making it easy if you can memorize answers. I went into the final thinking I was going to fail the class cause I didn't really pay attention in class and never took any notes. However was able to pass the class with a B. Still learn a few things which I didn't know. An A+ class!

Snell was really cool. You always get out 30 mins early and he is clear on what he wants. All quiz questions are on test so use the study guide as you're taking quizzes. you can leave halfway through the class and text.

Such an easy class. Literally maybe the easiest class I've taken. Showed up to class maybe 4-5 times. Quizzes are at home and online so you can look up answers in book. Testsfinals are based off quizzes. Class is a joke and if you put forth any effort whatsoever you should have no trouble getting an A.

Ken is the chillest professor ever. He was awesome! Always down to talk and is totally genuine with you. Easy A as long as you take the quizzes and tests. The quizzes are open book and the tests are just the quizzes combined so it's easy. And besides, who doesn't want to talk about sex? ;)

very laid-back and nice. class is quite easy to the point of boring. few online homework assignments, and open-book online tests. couple in-class tests that combines the open-books tests.

I really enjoyed human sexuality and i felt like he made it easy to get a good grade as long as you put forth effort. he gives study guides, all of the quizzes and test are from the study guides. quizzes are weekly and as long as you do the study guide you should get a good grade.

P. Snell was pretty cool, his classes are large lectures so youre never called on randomly, all his quizzes are online (taken at home) on d2l, all the answers to quizzes and tests are on the study guides he provides. Tests are taken online in the computer lab made up of the quiz q's. He does offer extra credit. He doesn't give you a reason to fail.

Professor Snell rocks! His lectures were interesting and easy to understand, making it easy to study for the numerous quizzes we had. Uses D2L frequently. Although my class was very large, I found it easy to get one-on-one help. Even if you don't do great on tests/quizzes, your chances of passing are high as long as you show up and participate!

SUPER EASY CLASS and teacher. Once a week all quizzes were on d2l and 2 tests and a final. 2 very easy homework assignments and gives extra credit assignments. Ur tears are same questions from ur quizzes so make flash cards and study

The lectures are long & monotone. Tests are taken directly from quizzes which made them easier to pass. Do the study guides & you will have all the answers for quizzes/tests. Wish it was modern but overall an easy class

Very easy course. All of the test questions are the quiz questions which are the study guide questions which you can also find all on quizlet. Most of the time he gives you multiple attempts at the quizzes, so getting 100% is very easy. If you are very good at memorizing vocab and concepts there is no way to fail. The info is interesting too!

Snell is a wonderful professor. I learned so much. He talks majority of the class, but he makes it interesting and funny. If you study, this class will be an easy A. Once every couple weeks we went into the gym to do "labs" (had him for health and wellness) but they were fairly easy.

LOVE SNELL! I love the class topic (HumanSexuality) but i have never had a professor that was so easy, fun and every interesting! 50 question quizzes every 2 weeks BUT he gives the study guides that are (lol yes) the EXACT quiz. Quizlet gives the answers BTW. He brings in guest speakers that makes the topics even more interesting! LOVE THIS CLASS!

Professor Snell was very professional and knowledgeable during all of his lectures. You do gotta keep up with the readings in order to get an A in the class, but luckily it isn't hard to follow.
