Ken was a prof who made this course way harder and more complicated than it needed to be. His midterms were formatted very weird and he always dragged out everything he was talking about. He did have good chapter supplementals, though. The final exam was almost 90% equations and was tough.

Ken does not deserve the hate he gets on here. I did not have him for first year Econ but took his Econ 333 and Econ 468 classes. I thought he was very good at explaining the concepts and helpful answering questions. There were weekly assignments, which were annoying at times but were useful in understanding the material better. NO phones in class

The teacher in Ferris Buellers day off sounds more moviatated than Dr. Stewart. I put inspirational as one of my choices for a tag because he inspired me never to pursue economics ever again.

Most people misunderstand Prof Ken Stewart. He is a decent person and designs his course delivery mostly centring his assignments. His delivery isn't quite attractive and his written communication can be quite verbose as well, so it is best to get used to his way of communication to do good in his tests. Just do the assignments & read the chapters.

I don't know how Professor Stewart is rated so bad. I had him in Econ 204 and I thought he was great. His handouts are hard, but if you go to class he goes over them and helps you. His iclicker questions aren't hard and you need to write them down because he tests on them. Literally just go to class and you'll get a B for sure.

Course is not bad, stewart assigns weekly assignments that will prepare you for midterms and final, and the iclicker questions are also used on the tests and finals, so study up on those. Plus he's super cute and has a nice voice

Stewart is my favorite guy in the world. He is so accessible after class and in his office hours. He knows a lot and wants you to do well. His assignment are difficult and take a couple hours, but they are doable. His exams are really hard and he warns you that he will pull anything from his classes. I don't even care I think he is a great guy
