Cool Prof!

Seriously great professor. He's new to Ryerson, which you can tell, but not because he's an newbie. Instead it's because he has a different teaching style than the rest that is highly effective. Assignments keep students up to date on the retail industry, while forcing us to think critically about what is happening. No exams, multiple assignments.

Great Professor!

Such a great guy, honestly. VERY easy marker if you do what you're told. Can be a bit confusing about what he wants, but it's difficult to really screw up anything in his class. Attendance was mandatory but was always an easy class to go to! Super cute prof, even took our class to lunch on the last day!

This is the one of the best professors at Ryerson! He knows his material and is very experienced. Explains everything in a very clear way. His assignments are not hard (group projects) and there is no final exam for this course. Mid term was open book, open web! Overall, I strongly recommend his classes!

One of the best professors I've had at Ryerson. He is passionate about his work and it reflects in his lectures. His projects are relatively easy and his marking relatively easy. I would recommend him!

BY FAR the best prof I've ever had in my life. With a very strong background in the Retail industry, as well as training CEO's on the side, he's amazing and very helpful. Want brownie points? Engage in class with him and he'll remember you. Totally pays off.

By far my favourite professor here at Ryerson. He brings a different vibe and his lectures are highly entertaining. He wakes up the class if its in the morning with some of the best and newest music videos. Course content is easy and all you gotta do is read the book. Projects are lengthy so make time for them, don't rush stuff.

Best Professor. Outlines important stuff on ppt. Enthusiastic about teaching. NOT A LOT OF OTHERS LIKE HIM. Wants you to learn and guides you there very specifically. DOES NOT bell curve. REVIEWS often and provides examples. Makes his own tests and exams. Very great guy in general and I'm glad he taught me.

Dr Wong is the Best! So nice and always cracking jokes. projects super easy especially if you in 3rd or 4th year...got 98% on the final casino project. For the attendance mark he lets u fill it out yourself based on what u think u deserve...got 10/10 :). Definitely recommend taking him..you will actually enjoy learning in his class!

Ken is amazing professor... If you ever get a change to take his classes, do not hesitate!!! Very easy going and helpful prof. Attendance is mandatory and his evaluation is fair. Hands down my favourite prof at Ryerson for retail. Always answers emails right away, he is always there for any comments or concerns.

Straight up caring professor. He actually gives in the effort to absorb your attention. His slides are very useful, and if you pay attention in class, you will not need to use the textbook that often. His reviews at the beginning of class of the previous class is very helpful. Overall a great professor. We need more like him!

AMAZING prof! by far, my most favourite professor at ryerson. He's super nice and super easy. On top of that, he is very understanding. He's really fast at replying to e-mails. He replies in great detail to make sure you understand the answer. I'm taking RMG920 only cuz of him! He respects his students & helps them when needed.

The best professor I have ever had in my 3 years as an university student. I was first scared of taking a RMG course, since I am not in the Retail program. But, Dr.Wong made me excited about waking up at 6am every Thursdays. He really is a helpful prof and tries hard to make students participate in class. Amazing/funny prof! Totally recommend! :)

A very good prof overall. gives hints and guidelines for assignments and tells us exactly what he is looking for. Also replies to questions promptly and is eager to teach.

Great teacher, easy going, enthusiastic and keeps you motivated. 8 am classes are worth it if he's teaching it.

Good teacher, friendly and funny, makes the class better. Weekly quizzes for attendance but ended up having us mark ourselves. Pretty easy assignments, the final one wasn't as well explained as I would have liked, very lax on page count/font size etc. Liked the morning videos before class, explained things well but found the final a bit hard.

You're incredibly lucky to get Ken Wong as a prof. Absolutely outstanding, loves what he does, cares about his students, very clear assignments, makes class fun, really smart (authored over 4 books), wants you to do well, great presentation skills, and very polite. In my opinion, best prof in the Ted Rogers School of Management. Totally recommend

Such an amazing prof, actually wants you to succeed in his class. Assignments are esay, but group projects a bit harder. The midterm was not bad, but some questions were based off if you go to class but you get a crib sheet & theres no final!

Midterm, two group projects, 2 article submissions and no final. Go to class and you'll get an easy A. Ken wants to help his students anyway he can. Lectures can get a little boring and are straight from the textbook.

Ken is funny, understanding, caring, and has a lot of experience to teach from!

Ryerson needs more profs like this. Ken is highly qualified and is amazing as a professor.

Ken genuinely wants to see students succeed. He makes a 6:30-9:30 pm lecture bearable, he make the cut and dry material interesting! He is very respected by students and knows his stuff!

Ken is an amazing prof! He does his best to motivate his students to be successful and is inspiring. The only complaint I have is the clarity of his final assignments. I wish he gave out an more clear outline with a rubric instead of three powerpoint slides since this essay has to be around 20-32 pages and is worth the same as the final exam.

Ken Wong is an amazing professor, good feedback, there for you when you need help, and he wants you to succeed not only in his class, but in your career and life, he genuinely cares if you have something to ask him, and plus who else sings 3 songs in class at your request.

He's very enthusiastic. He encourages his students to visit him during office hours for help. Definitely draws my interest in retail. I enjoyed his classes but not his assignments. Individual Final project expected 20 - 32 pages. His slides are not printer friendly, and does not draw a lot of terminology from the textbook.

Hands down the best prof I've ever had!!! Ken is an amazing prof who really cares for his students. His midterms and finals come straight from his slides and textbooks so make sure you prepare himself. Assignments are lengthy but doable. I would recommend this class for anyone who needs professionally-related classes.

Overall He is Amazing!

Extremely friendly professor, very approachable. Only fault is the extremely long assignments for an introductory class, however he is flexible on assignment length provided good content. Expect to do some work! I ended up spending more time doing his assignments than any of my other 3rd and 4th year courses. Not hard work, but lots of it.

Great Prof. Had him for other classes and he genuinely cares about his students. He marks fair and his quizzes/exams for this course was not too difficult but it required a bit of reading. More focus on theory than math questions on his exam.

RMG200 was by far may favourite class of undergrad!! Nothing like a feel good mark booster! One easy article review assignment related to retail concepts, 3 midterms all identical to test banks which can be found online and a final, a little bit less testbank heavy but even if you've never opened a module if you have the test banks you'll get an A!

Ken was a wonderful professor! He has given lots of opportunities to boost your mark and i would definitely recommend taking this class, very knowledgable and interesting topics that make you want to learn!

Amazing Prof! If you're looking for an interesting course while boosting your GPA RMG200 is for you. There are weekly discussion posts for participation, an individual article assignment, 3 tests and a final exam (all multiple choice).

Wong was an amazing online prof, he was super easy to communicate with. The CRMG200 course has weekly discussions, article assignment, online 3 tests &amp; online final which are all fair and easy! The textbook was helpful so were his course modules. He marks fair and easy! I loved taking his class and would highly recommend to take this class online!

dr. Ken knows his stuff and is an expert in omnichannel retailing. Topics are interesting and relevant. Learned a lot in his online class. Team project can be challenging but hey which team project is not challenging these days..

Other than term test III that's heavy on retail math, other tests/final are easy if you read Levy's book. Highly recommended!

It's fair to say he wants you to do well and is clearly passionate about the field. If you study well it should be generally straightforward. Answers all questions in a timely manner.

Can I give 100 stars? The best prof at TMU!!!! Grades fairly, helps out, responds to emails quickly, and is overall just an amazing person! Also, his course (which he wrote himself btw!) on Omnichannel retailing is so beneficial and informative!!

I don't often post reviews, but I had to for Dr. Wong! One of TMU's top professors by far! He is one of the most helpful, knowledgable, and empathetic professors I have met at TMU. He genuinely cares and wants his students to succeed. He even gives students constant words of encouragement, and motivation. Sooo grateful to have had a class with him!
