The class is kinda boring, but he has tons of extra credit. Show up to class for more opportunitys of extra credit. Go to his office hours, he will help you for the test. He will even help you with homework questions. He's totally nice and helpful.

He tends to studder a lot, and runs off the topic quickly. But, he helps prepare you for the tests. If you go to class, he will give you almost half of the questions that will be on the tests and offers extra credit that can really boost your grade.

Professor Woodward is one of the most well spoken teachers that I have ever listened to. He really makes class easy, and fun, but not hard to get an "A" in. He's funny to, watch the studdering. "Does that make make make sense?"

Most interesting teacher to observe. Licks his lips to much for my liking and always has an upper sweaty lip and always has a propel bottle of water that never seemed to be touched. Not mention he reminds me of BEN STEIN!

Ok, I failed the three tests he gives. I had good attendence and did the homework and extra credit quizzes (all online). I got a B in the class. Just go to class to get attendence, dont even have to take notes, hes boring but funny cause of the stutter!

Ken is the best! He knows his stuff and hes very smart, he should teach at Harvard. The class is easy, I got an A. Extra credit everywhere and he gives out study guides to the tests. Just study those. Its not the most interesting subject but he makes it fun. Hes funny when gets off topic!!

I enjoy his class, very funny when he goes off topic. He seems like he has more potential than Saddleback. Extra Credit helps lots of people in his class but angered me. I like being challenged and earning my A. If your the opposite this class is definetely for you.

GREAT class- very easy with all the extra credit. Plus, as long as you get an A or (A/B combo) on two of the three test, you're good to go. Very clear, goes off tagent some, but interesting tagents! Plus, is flexible- if you have a problem, just ask him- he tries to help! Definatly made Econ fun!

Professor Woodward is awesome! He is a little aloof and goes out on tangents all the time, but if you can handle that you will be more then ok. He gives three easy tests that have study guides (plus you get a notecard), lectures are boring but informative, and SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT...he is great!:)

Woodward is way cool and very easy. On the tests you get to use notecards. In class he holds peoples interest farely well. Also he gives tons of ec oportunities so there is no way you can fail the class.

Professor Woodward is extremely intelligent, helpful professors I have ever had at Saddleback. I would often find myself in office hours discussing not only the course material but about anything going on in the world or about my own education. I am very glad I took his class. Thanks so much.

Totally passionate about his work, and the world in general. Helpful in both class, after class and through Blackboard and email. The best reason for cloning on Saddleback's campus. School is interesting in his class, what a concept!

Very giving teacher. Tons of EC. Took class online. He gave numerous chances for making up work and extending deadlines for finishing assignments. He is also a great talker and very interested in his work. That's a good characteristic for a teacher to have.

I am taking this class online! He has so much information available and it is very well organized! Unlike another class I am taking online! He is responds to emails and is personable...I hope that I will be able to take one of his classes in person one day!

Took his online course, best online prof I ever had - very organized, responsive, clear on what he wants. Offers lots of E.C. Tests are tough, but he gives you a full study guide which tells you everything that will be on them. Print the study guide and have it with you during the test! He is really easy if you go to class. He relates to China every other sentence. Overall he is a great professor that is very understanding. I would highly recommend him for Macro econ.

His tests are difficult, only 3 people got A's on them but as others have said he offers EC so do it!! Otherwise he is kind of boring, but he does provide tons of info.

He is a good teacher but I would suggest taking his course online if you can. Tere are 13 quizes 3 tests 5 E.C. quizes and more E.C. Everything is done online besides the tests.

Really cool teacher...i didnt know ANYTHING about economics but he explains everything really well! He goes through the sections slowly so that you know exactly whats going on. your homework quizzes will help you out with your tests and there are only like 3 tests anyway..Highly recommend!

Just finished his online class, I didn't do well on the midterm, but did better on the final. he responds to every email, gives lots of extra credit and helps you redeem yourself. you can take the online quiz as many times. first of all i do have so much respect for him. trust me, he will make this subject reallllly easy to undrestand and fun. he is very good with responding and communicating with students. great personality. there are so many extra credit in this class that makes it impossible not to get an A. for on line class just be aware of deadlines!!

He is a wonderful professor. He gave you a lot of extra credits to raise your grade up. He did curved the grade at the end. He gave you 1 midterm & 1 final. Easy to earn an A in this class by follow his study guide.

Took this class online. He gives 60 points extra credit! There are a bunch of quizes but you can retake them as many times as youd like until you get the grade you want...but the questions always change in the quizes. Good easy class but didn't learn too much.

I took this class online.You can tell this professor knows his stuff.He usually answers emails within 24hours.He gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit.If you make an effort, you will get an A. Most online teachers are lazy & have a god complex (e.g. Professor O'Connor!!!) but this it not the case with professor Woodward.

I took the online class. It was a breeze. All of the answers for his ONLINE tests are on the study sheets except for about 10% of the questions. Just have the study sheets open on one page and use [ctrl]+F to search for key words in the test question. Viola. I got an A on the mid and B on the final. Use wikipedia for the quizzes. It's like magic.

I took his online class. You have 14 quizzes. 1 or 2 a week. You have a midterm and a final, all multiple choice and same questions from the practice and graded quizes. You know the questions in advance. He is always there if you need help and responds to posts and emails frequently. I would take his online class if you need some easy credits

This class is easy. You can also learn the material. The alpia quizzes online are a little difficult but you can make up the points with the 60+ extra credit points. You should ace both midterm and final because the questions come from the practice and graded quizes you already took. Simply copy them into word and use ctrl+f and find the answer

This is an easy online course. The quizes are somewhat difficult, however, you are offered 60pts extra credit which is easy to receive. The midterm/final are the exact same questions from the quizzes. Just save the question from the quizzes into word, then on the final/midterm, use ctrl+F to find the question/answer. TAKE THE ONLINE COURSE!

Very easy on-line class. The students are offered so much extra credit, I'd be amazed at anyone who doesn't get an A in this course. The homework assignments on Aplia are tough BUT it doesn't matter how poorly you do on that because midterm/final are easy points and so is the essay.

Very helpful teacher and very generous if you do all of your work. Plenty of extra credit. I too kit online over the summer and it was the best online class I have ever taken. Our book was even electronic!

I took this professor for the 8 week online course. He gives many opportunities for extra credit so you can get an A! He responded to emails very quickly and gives extra credit easily for finding mistakes and answering students' questions. You have to buy the online book on Alphia ($80) and submit test on there. Read Book + EC = A!

After reading previous post, I thought this class was going to be a piece of cake. But, Woodward had changed his curicullum. Past students have been cheating communally by the possession of tests in advance. With the new system, Aplia, you have to really study the materials well. I didn't like the ebook. You definitely HAVE to read the chapters and do the quizzes every week. He gives so much opportunity for extra credit; 100 points possible. I missed 3 weeks worth of quizzes & still passed w/ 80%. The extra credit saved me! Not an easy class to breeze through, but fairly easy to pass with all the extra credit available.

took the online 8-week course. such an easy grader. I didn't enjoy the e-book or that i had to pay $80 to access the aplia program, but he gave out extra credit like whoa. Take his class if you like econ. You will need to read the material & complete the assigned quizzes each week.

The class was very easy if you took the time to do the homework every week and check your answers. The homework assignments on the Connect website were like mini tests, but you could check your answers on every question and get all the possible points. There were 70 extra credit points and 400 point in the class. I got a 105% in the class.

Such an easy A. At least 50 points of extra credit throughout the course (it's a 400 point class). Graded homework is identical to ungraded practice quizzes, and about half of the final is identical to the homework. Textbook is good if you're interested in the subject; if you're not, no problem. You do have to pay $66 for "Connect" though...

Easy A. Homework is 50% and you get a practice set right before it that is identicle. Save the Hw in a word doc and crl f the final, I got a 92% on the final. If you actually want to learn than its up to you though, no real "teaching"

Grading is based on absolute point scale. Online quizes are easy, get 2 tries and its identical questions. Few online blog posts, one long discussion paper, and final exam. I did well on all and got an A. Easy A for those chasing for a good grade but if you intend to learn the content (like Me) be ready to work hard.

Online course Everything is through the McGraw Hill online learning center 1 weekly 20 q, multiple choice, Hw assignment. 3 Discussion Board Posts, 500 word min, on various subjects. The only test was the final, same format as Hw. Easy. 20 Xtra credit points available Must read to get a good grade.

I took his Macroeconomics class online, and he was very clear and organized. He provides many supplemental videos that help explain things even more than the textbook. There are also optional practice homework assignments, which I found very helpful before doing the actual assignment or test.

The class was an easy A. He gives you hw practices before you take the graded hw which are also the same questions you will see on the final. He is a fair grader with the discussion posts,but they are easy to do. If you sent him an email he responded ASAP. Overall, pretty good professor. Highly recommend him! :)

Taking econ 2 on line right now. Weekly homework quizz which is easy if you do the practice questions that's given. Only a couple discussion posts and midterm&final. Only a couple weeks left and i have an A in the class. Highly recommend if you need econ 2 or 4 !

weekly quizzes that were manageable. two main discussion post assignments that required a bit of work but the instructions were clear. 1 midterm and one final, all multiple choice. concept coach really helps prep you for the hw quizzes.

Professor Woodward is great. I do not like econ, but taking Macro Econ with Professor Woodward made me realize how much Macro Econ is useful. If you need help with anything that is Econ related, go to Woodward. I like Macro Econ more than Micro Econ. Professor Woodward, if you are reading this, you're the best Macro Econ professor at Saddleback.

Professor Woodward explains Macro Economics really clear. If you did not like Micro Econ, Macro Econ is definitely better. Macro Econ teaches more about rules and policy, whereas Micro has more math. I learned so much about Macro Econ from Woodward. He provides real life experience from videos and discussion. Take Woodward if you can.

I enjoyed the discussion post, class was very well structured for an online class. I've had bad experiences with online classes in the past. If you put in the work you will get the grade you want.

I took his online Econ 2 class as a prerequisite for my business major. I was surprised at how much I learned from all the Discussion Board posts. You definitely have to put time and effort into your posts, as they are not simple responses, but take some research. Our text was free which was great, as it saved money. Kind and caring professor!

I loved this class! consistent workflow for syllabus. I learned so much! He doesn't just ask you a definition he challenges your ability to understand - its not word for word. You can't just look stuff up though its online you need to understand! Big plus for me! Great teacher super nice ++ - only downside book at times differing terms of books

For someone who is not the biggest fan of economics, I enjoyed this course thanks to Professor Woodward! Tests are very doable and the discussion boards are as well. The midterm and final are no surprise if you study well. Definitely recommend!

Took it during pandemic summer, super easy class, much better than Econ 1 base on my personal opinions. Give 20 extra credits, it will bump your grades a lot and it is an easy 20 points.

Professor Woodward is very clear and structured with the requirements in his class, which is necessary for an online course. Lecture videos would have been awesome, but instead all of your information comes from the textbook. His discussion boards are the most challenging I've had and really make you think about the material.

Great class; would recommend. The class was fair and no too difficult. 1-2 Discussion posts per week (400-900 words per post) but the questions guide you along so the length isn't difficult. 1-2 Weekly quizzes that you can take 2x each Loved the OpenStax textbook (free pdf) but there are no videos to really help you. Final is light (worth about 8%)

I graduated HS June 2021 & decided to enroll into Prof Woodwards class. I absolutely loved this class. As long as you complete every assignment, whether the answers are right or wrong, on time, you will always get full credit. It would be hard to fail this class. Put in a bit of effort & youll get an A :) I learned a lot despite being online.

Dr. Woodward is a wonderful professor; I have learned a great deal about macroeconomics and the components of macroeconomic analysis in this class. The weekly discussion boards are definitely comprehensive and lengthy, so give yourself time and you will do great! Fun class!

Yes it's an easy A, but the weekly discussions are quite heavy, get ready to write. Free reading every week, then a quiz on the chapter (can take twice). If you want to take this class because it's "easy", and you're not willing to put some effort in, don't. Very kind and respectful professor, I can tell he cares.

Prof Woodward's ECON2 is manageable with effort. Weekly discussions are lengthy but doable. Quizzes can be retaken, and the final is light. Unstuck ai helped supplement the free textbook well.

A variation of 1-2 quizzes (2 attempts per quiz) and a discussion board per week. Free textbook, he provides helpful resources for every chapter, offers extra credit. Lengthy discussion boards and he's a tough grader, answer every part of every question and follow instructions. Keep up on readings and assignments and class will be very manageable
