Great Professor, none better. He is extremely clear in his teaching style, on what he wants on his tests, quizes etc. He prepares you well for the real world, as well as for being a Pyschology major. He is nice, approachable, helpful, you really can't go wrong. He says "Let me make a plug" a lot :)

Kenn is an amazing professor. Attendance in class isn't mandatory but you have to go in order to learn. Reading the text book and doing the review questions will really help for the test. Study study study and the tests will be easy.

Hands down the best professor at JMU. Sometimes he can be a little meticulous when writing notes on the board but he made a class that could have been uninteresting really worth my time. DEFINITELY TAKE HIM!

Class isn't mandatory because he likes for his students to be motivated on their own. This applies to tests--they are never difficult because he prepares you well with information and provides you with study guides. If you do the work you will get the grade. He isn't a fan of grades motivating you. He will help you with anything!PLC!!

Kenn is my favorite professor thus far. I have him for a few classes and he's always been very on top of things. The only reason the classes are easy is because he teaches very thoroughly while trying to challenge you at the same time. Nonetheless, great classes, great professor, and a great time :)

Kenn has been my favorite teacher so far at JMU. He wants you to WANT to come to class, and believe me you WILL want to. The tests are easy becasue he provides you with study guides (DO THEM) that really help you out. BEST PROFESSOR AT JMU HANDS DOWN.

I've had Kenn for 212 and 213 and it's virtually impossible to fail. The notes cover everything in the book so you don't honestly need to read if you don't want to. The tests are not difficult at all as long as you pay attention in class.

First off, PLC. Second, Kenn is absolutely the best professor I have ever had. He will respond to your emails when you're freaking out at 3 AM (usually within around 15 minutes). Does everything in his power to make sure everyone is comfortable with the material/due dates, etc. Helped me get an amazing internship. He's the best!!!

Kenn is an excellent professor! Apply to PLC, he opens this class for a jump-start to PSYC freshmen. He is so well-prepared and passionate about psychology. If you do the review questions in the book you will easily get an A on all of his tests. Lectures can be kind of boring sometimes but he does his best to avoid the. If you're nervous about taking a stats class (like I was), rest assured he will teach you everything you need to know and more. Y'all he makes such an effort to teach his classes and it really makes a difference. He writes everything on the board for us while we are taking notes which makes it so much easier to take handwritten notes (no electronics allowed in class) and he welcomes all questions. An overall great teacher.

He cares about his students and wants us to grow into our education and live life in a meaningful way. He encourages meaningful connections with classmates and professors.

This is genuinely the best professor I've ever had. All he wants is for his students to truly understand the material and to do well. He tells us he wants us all to get 100, and his grading reflects this. He is the most understanding, sympathetic person I know. I could not recommend this class enough. Absolutely take if you can. I love Kenn. The class is so simple is you put in the required effort. He takes the time to explain everything and goes slow and explains in great detail that it's one of the best classes I've ever taken at JMU. He always has fun activities planned and class is never really boring. Just study for the tests and you'll get an A plus.
