he's tough, but interesting, just do the homework
Too Tough
He's really tough, if your the ones that likes a challenge then go ahead. If for those whom slacks off, forget about passing, this professor means business. He gives alot of Homework which you feel like your writing an English Paper.
Profesor Anderson is very articulate and intelligent. You will definitely learn a thing or two coming out of his class.
Good Teacher!
this guy is very though but he knows his stuff, he helped with things that i didnt know in life, altough i didnt understand a thing about the course
What can I say he know what he is talking about, he a good professor
you learn alot but it seems as if he still thinks he's talking to a jury.
Prof. Anderson is challenging. If you do not plan to work hard, you can fail his class very easily. His tests aren't that hard, mostly multiple choice and T/F. His paper isn't that long, 8-10 pages. He teaches at a college level, not a high school level, like most bmcc professors. I recommend him if you want to learn something.
A tough but cool prof. Going to his class feel like going to a criminal court. Want to learn law? Anderson.
I took him for Bus 110 and he is very wonderful, please be advise that his is very funny so please fellow classmate don't get made when he tell's a joke. He just want's to help.
At first i was like wow this is hard and it still seems hard to me..but if u pay attn to him soon enuff youll get it..hes a funny guy too. so it makes it more intresting..its just sometimes i feel like im in court...but over all hes great and i look foward to the end of the semester to see what my out come is.
He is a challenging professor. His tests were tricky. Instead of one correct answer, he had two. The student had to evaluate which one fits the best. I struggled at first but then I got the hang of it. He is funny and always got stories to tell. I ended up getting an A-. Not bad. If you take his class, you will learn a lot.
This class is not easy...BUT extremely interesting. Fabulous book, too. You learn so much about the law. He is really interesting and answers all questions. You can throw a test out cuz it takes doing bad on one test to realize you MUST read all the material to get an A. Challenging but superb class if you are a good reader.
He talk to darn much. All he knows how to talk about is himself. BLA BLA BLA. Who cares. Just teach the student who are spending their hard earned money to learn from you rather than to hear your life history.
One the best professors in BMCC. His lectures were clear, organized, and very informative. Besides, professor Anderson works with students.
cool prof
great teacher...
He is one of the smartest people i've ever met, HOWEVER, if he doesn't like u he'll give u low grades on essays: He'll purposely "desagree" w/ your point of view on the essays just to give you a lower grade- just because he can... so you end up w/ an -A instead of the A you worked so hard to earn.
Prof. Anderson expresses himself very well, and presents complex class material in a way you can understand. He is also great with CPE workshops, overall a great professor, and i highly recommend him.
Great Prof. but you have to study very hard to get a good grade. Very Smar, allways have smth interesting to say in the class.
The best professor! I recommend him highly! Every class was so much fun and soo interesting! He is very smart and has good jokes. Great professor, wish we had more teachers like him! 3 Quizzes, drops the lowest, midterm has 50 multiple choice plus one essay, final has 50 multiple choice and 2 essays. Take notes, his lectures cover everything!
Prof. Anderson was awsome! He's the reincarnation of Johnny Cochran (from the South Bronx of course), very funny, very easy to pay attention in his class. Oh but DO NOT make noise during his exams, it will not be good for you.
This professor will be one of my inspiration. Through my first two terms I have never met a professor that inspired me like this. He pushed us to work hard but he did it in such a good way. I think hes the best professor i had so far. very highly recommended
cool guy..funny..kinda easy
Take this professor if you want a bad grade.
I hated him during the semester, but now when I’m done with the class, he’s one of the best professors I ever had. You’ve to study a lot, but you will learn a lot. He’s very experienced within his field. I highly recommend him!
I think anyone that gave this professor a bad rating did not really try to study for this class. Prof. Anderson is very funny, tough, but fair. He expects you to work, study and learn. An equal give and take but he does grade on a curve. I think in all my time at BMCC his is the only class that I will retain knowledge.well.the day after the final
He seems a little discourteous at times, but dont let that intimidate you- he can be extremely helpful, and a sweet heart when it comes to the relevant stuff. Lectures are pretty decent, and you will learn a lot from the dude... However, you do have to earn your grade. When you walk into Andersons class, be grateful for the privilege, and dont think of it simply as another requirement to fulfill, but as the experience of a lifetime!!!
He's ok. Exams are Hard! Class is fun. Fair grader
he is a good professor... but u have to earn the frade in his class... sometimes he can be rude... take his class but make sure you work hard... hard to get an A in his class
This class is very straight forward. Read the textbook, study for the quizzes, mid-term, and final, and do your term paper. It's an interesting class and Prof A. has a genuine interest in his students doing well. His lectures are both informative and fun. Note: this class is writing intensive so there are two essays for the midterm and final, each.
THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT CLASS. DEFINATELY PUSHED ME TO DEVELOP AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE SUBJECT MATTER.
EXCELLENT ABILITY TO KEEP STUDENT'S INTEREST BUT NOT A FAIR GRADER.
Hes hard the first day I met him I wanted to leave. Very intelligent but only recommended for those who really want to be a business person and be successfull at it other wise its not worth failing.
the best teacher I had at BMCC so far!He made me like law!Deeply recommanded!
Great- took two of his classes. Has great balance of fun and information rich.
PROFESSOR NEEDS TO BE RECOMMENDED FOR A PERSONAL AWARD IN TEACHING BY THE SCHOOL. OUTSTANDING PROFESSOR
This guy is VERY smart. His lectures are extremely helpful and interesting. Exams are very difficult. If you want to get B or higher you have to work really hard. However if business law is not your world, I don't recommend you to take this class, because you won't have life that semester.
This was a hard class. I wish the professor would've used the book less and engaged with us more. I also wish he would've given a test every few chapters instead of giving us 7 chapters worth to study at a time. He could be more specific about the essays he wants us to study for, he's very general about that. He is hot & has a commanding presence.
Two thumbs up!! this Prof. know's his stuff, if your a lay back type who's looking for a easy way out then, dont take the class. EXAMS you must study hard to pass! but Overall!! 10! the best! you will get for your buck!
Prof. Anderson's really down to earth and straight foward. He's more of a text book lecturer but made the class interesting. Don't get me wrong it was a tough class with the amount of HW, tricky quiz questions, tests on 5 chapters at a time. Do all the HW and study your butt off on the tests. I came out with a higher interest in learning law.
This is tough class. If you study hard you will be rewarded with the good grade and useful knowledge. All his lectures are streight from the book, tests are difficult. Be precise and show respect when ask questions. He will pay it back.
He's a great professor and very helpful..He has helped me out a lot even when I was going through personal problems. I would definitely recommend him!
clear, concise, and to the point.
He's A very good professor and tou wil learn. He's also very fun and striaght forward. Oh and HOTTTT.
He makes the class very interesting. However, I wish he didn't give the exams like 8 chapters at a time. His work is very difficult. Plus he claims he doesn't give A's.
He is very straight foward although when teaching he is always defensive to students feedback and questions ( as if you suppose to know the answer to your question or u an idiot). However he is very fair and test are easy as long as you read the chapters. I recommend him to anyone that is able to deal with the above.
I wish he didnt give so many chapters at a time. It was alot of work. If your not interested in law then you should not take him.
He is very hard. You need a voice recorder for him. The test is hard, and most of them are case questions. He is a funny prof. He is tough. somewhate recommend, if you like challenges.
he's an awesome teacher. I highly reccommend his classes.
Prof. Anderson is an excellent instructor. This class is lectured on a higher academic level. Follow his instructions to the point. Do your reading, study hard for his exams. Don't try to be cute or ask dumb questions or be a wise #@%. It is that simple. Some students like things easy like instant oatmeal - not this class, not this Professor.
this professor is great with his work ethics. very professional and funny. he is a fair grader, just make sure you complete all assignments and pass exams with a good grade.
Very cool professor. Knows how to teach in a very profound way and shows, in an unorthodox way, that he really cares about his students.
he is an awesome professor, but he gives hard exams. If you wanna challenge urself, u should take his class.
He is by far the best professor in BMCC. He knows his material, teaches it in a clear and understandable way..his class was great..challenging but always interesting..great caring professor that is passionate about his students..fair grader if you do the work and attend class its a solid passing grade.highly recommend!!!
Professor Anderson was a wonderful professor, however his exams is not easy so be prepared for his exams and challenges. Homework is pretty easy must be typed unless he required it not to. If you do all his homework and just pass the midterm and final exam then you will receive a C+ just like i did.
He is a great professor! He is funny, has excellent teaching skills and challenging. You have to study hard for midterm and final to have a good grade in his class. I highly recommend this professor.
Prof Anderson is very articulate. The class is all lecture. Write 8 to 10 page paper with 10 footnotes, table contents, book sources and articles mandatory to pass, 4 test. Midterm and final are done in 2 days one day multiple choice, the next day 2 essays. Homework every day a one and half writing assignment.
smart guy but he was absent a lot but still leaves you responsible for the exams. tests are sooooo hard so study!!!
why is he a teacher? he taught my classfor about two weeks and got sick and we had to end up getting a new professor. wish i would of had more time to spend with him
Good professor, good personality, great sense of humor. class is not boring at all. however, exams, papers oh yeah...and you will get a C+. But you will enjoy the class
worst yet. He was always late or didn't show up. He's got some serious problems, very obvious. Can't believe other comments about how great he is- he must pay someone to write it!
This guy is really not a good teacher. He just reads through his personal notes and expects the whole class to keep up. Choose a more interactive teacher.
Prof. Anderson will give u the college experience of a life time. make no mistake, u will learn in his class like it or not. if u want 2 challenge ur ability or to really learn something that u will remember this is the class 4 u. test r hard, but it wont be nothing u haven't seen or heard be4. 1 prob, 2 many chapters for 1 quiz.but u'll feel proud
Good Teacher. However, he often shows up to class very late or doesn't show up. This is very common within him. You are expected to study the material and complete assigned homework on time. Prof. Anderson does not kiss your ass and expects you to do your work and study. You will also receive a 5-7 page paper due before finals week.
Great professor who will actually teach like its a college. Hes merciful in terms or making things up and handing in late work. EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE about this course and life in general. He seems mean but hes actually very friendly and funny and smart lol my whole class loved the guy.5 star professor like no other. He teaches a bit fast though.
great sense of humor, extra credits, the only class i learned smth.
He is a good professor but his text are so hard, you have to read a lot. he gives like 3 extra credits to help you to pass with this you could imagine how his class is very HARD... he is very nice and he knows a lot about law and business, if you want to learn and have time to study a lot Take IT, under wise DON'T!
I'm taking this class during Fall 12 and 2 weeks before mid-term another prof. was assigned to us due to Prof. Anderson health issues. He never mentioned about having health problems(he didn't have to) but now we're stuck with a $180+ book that we're not going to use. The good thing that he knows his subject and it was good what it last.
This professor is good but the work is hard. You def need the book and there is a lot of reading. He sometimes has 2 part tests. other than that he is always ill and absent. I would reccommend him if you want to be challeneged.
A top-notch professor! I can only hope that Mr. Anderson will resume to his better health, and resume teaching. Then, I will be the first inline to sign up for his class (even if it is not required for my degree)
He is a Hard professor, he knows what is teaching but the class is really difficult. if you find another professor just avoid him. I got a B+ but I did a lot of work.
He is a great professor. He is very explicit, he encourages class participation, and he uses a lot of examples in his lecture so we can have a better understanding of whatever he is teaching. I highly recommend him.
If you want to learn from a professional with experience, I highly recommend. If you are a lazy lima bean and looking for an easy route, avoid....or just avoid school altogether! Gives HW and collects it. Gives case studies and great lectures that leave you wanting more. Left a great impression.
This professor knows his stuff. He was a lawyer before he became a professor. His tests are hard and based entirely on the textbook. You'll have to ready many chapters for each of his tests. This is not a class to slack off but he does give a lot of extra credit options to boost your grade. He gives interesting and engaging lectures.
Friendly and understanding and never sugar codes anything.
The worst professor I have ever seen. Always late to the class, only reading through the book without any explanations, yell at students for only small reasons. Can you imagine a professor tells you' he has a license so it means that he can do whatever he wants to? I don't see he really understand the word "TEACHING"
Great intro course to Bus-Law with a given preface to law in general. Good for any student at any knowledge base. Due diligence must be implemented to keep up. Otherwise, the student will miss out on information and lag behind in the course. Studying/reading outside of class is a MUST. Willing to work around your schedule. TONS of xtra credit.
At first class seemed to be difficult. He's straight to the point and tells you what you need to do to pass. Gives out lots of extra credit although tests are difficult, he's very reasonable.
He is one of the best professor I have ever met in my life. He Seems like a tough professor but everything is for you to learn. I really learned at lot the reading is a lot but it's worth it. Definitely take him.
If you can avoid taking this professor, do that!!!!! Never take him. He is rude and do not respect students' opinion.
At first he appears to be very militant but he is not that way at all! I really, really enjoyed his class, it was very engaging and you can see that he puts extra effort in making sure his class is understanding the material. If you are lazy and just need a professor who will slide you by then don't take his class.. overall he is GREAT you'll learn
Prof. Anderson gives 5 tests in total plus multiple opportunities for extra credit. Prepare to work hard, he is somewhat accommodating, but BARELY. his class is lecture based so do your readings but it's not hard to pass this class, if you don't mind putting in the work.
Professor Kenneth is very interesting and his lectures are good. Take notes in class. You have to read the book, or else it will be hard for you to pass. He gives plenty of extra-credit, so make sure you take advantage of that. Avoid asking him dumb questions or else... just try not to okay? He is a fair grader, it's not an easy class (work hard)
Terrible professor, only wants to show off and put students down. If you happen to be smart, he won't like you because he feels the competition. So discouraging that the first thing he says when he comes to class is : Nobody is getting an A in this class. Indifferent, rude, terrible vocabulary in class, if he was to be audited he'd be fired!
Professor Anderson seems to be very militant at first but he is not like that at all! He is very knowledgeable and makes the class very interesting. He also gives a lot of extra credit assignments so you can have the possibility to get a better grade.
Prof. Anderson is the best teacher for subject because he's a previous lawyer, he knows the subject very well, his lectures are interesting. The class itself is very difficult, requires dedication and a lot of reading. But he will make a lot of difference in helping you understand the subject and he's always open to questions and discussions.
If you're not interested in law, it'll be a challenge. He elaborates on anything you don't understand and test and quizzes are from material in lectures/textbook. No surprises.
He is very disrespectful, insult students and use curse word often
Great class! Countless opportunities for extra credit! Youll be bogged down with a slew of papers the first day, that will be extra credit due throughout the semester. open discussion after each exam where he reference the book and if you find discrepancies just talk to him, he may seem annoyed but hell seriously consider adjusting the grade.
Professor Anderson is one of a kind. No slides in his class. Listen what he says. Sometimes he talks about life related to business that makes the class way more interesting and opens your eyes what is happening outside. Me as a CS major I was expecting a boring class but I was fascinated by him. He looks tough but cares for everyone. THE BEST.
i really loved this Professor he is very funny in class he does give a lot of extra credit on the first day of class you will walk out of class with about 100 sheets of paper which includes all the extra credits the due dates of them and your syllabus he does curse at times but he makes class very interesting. its very lecture heavy so be Prepared
This professor is just WOW. Has knowledge at what is teaching. Very funny professor. Amazing feedback. The first impression of him can be wrong since he'll give you lots of papers the first week of classes. However, these papers are all extra credits assignments.
Loved Professor Kenneth. He is very caring even though he might not come off that way. He gives countless extra credit opportunities. However, you must put in work!!!
I remember I was applying for Baruch College and he said I'll never get in. That made me upset. Fast-forward couple of years later, not only did I get in but I also graduated. No hard feelings tho. He's a good professor and I have a lot of respect for him, but sometimes a little bit of encouragement to your students won't hurt.
He assigns a lot of work. You have to read the super heavy textbook he requires for his class to pass the quizzes. He gives a lot of extra credit, but you will not have time to do them because you will be very busy reading the book, writing essays, and doing the homework to pass the class. His extra credit assignments are a lot of work too.
Professor Kenneth is super knowledgeable and every class he would tell us real life situations that apply to business law. If you do read the textbook, then you are in for an A. The tests are all based on the textbook, no surprises. He gives a lot of extra assignments too, but if you keep getting 80-90% on the tests, you won't have to do them.
Professor Anderson's class is hard and you must read the textbook if you want to pass this class. It's important to start some of the extra credit work because it will help!! I did not think i was going to pass this class, but the extra credit raised my grades, enough for me to pass this class with a B.
Great Prof. He wants to see you get ahead. His lectures are engaging and funny. Read the text book.
Professor Anderson is amazing. He is very understanding and gives extra credit. Take him you wouldnt regret!
Prof. Anderson is a real gem. If you want an easy grade but you still want to learn, he's the perfect professor. He only gave out one assignment a week and graded us on 4 multiple choice exams. Because I like him for the spring 2021 semester, I will be taking him again for Business management in the fall!
His lectures are a bit heavy and you will have to read a lot because all his quizzes are straight from a textbook BUT he is very nice, great at explaining the material, very forgiving, lots of extra credit, and he knows what he is talking about. You'll learn a lot from him but his classes aren't super easy either. Lots of quizzes!
Prof. Anderson can come off a little rough around the edges but he's really a good Prof and knowledgeable. Lectures heavy all is from the heavy txtbook. The txtbook is not needed to bring to class but its needed to study at home and the HW assignments which is 20% of ur grade.Questions for the quizzes are from the txtbook.Extra credit assignments.
