Dr. White was extremely helpful throughtout the semester. He was always open for any kind of questions that anyone in class had. Unlike other classes, I didn't feel bad asking questions in his class. He has tremendous amount of knowledge. Handouts on each chapter helped a lot. I gained interest in organic after his class. I LOVE ORGANIC CHEM.

Dr. White is an awesome teacher. He explains his steps very well, and has a lot of jokes. You really don't have to ever use the book because he covers everything in class and in the review. No pre-labs but just a simple right up of ten sentences sometimes alil more. He also prints out problem sets for you too!

Dr. White is just an all around good prof. He knows what he's talking about, but he actually wants you to understand it too as opposed to some teachers who seem to like intimidating you! I was horrified to take chemistry, but Dr. White made chemistry easy to understand and was also extremely helpful if you had any questions. I wish I would have been able to take this class before I took any of my Math classes. I never understood story problems until Dr. White and Unit Analysis! Definitely take Dr. White.

He is an awesome teacher. I'm taking chemistry right now but i love how he works with his students. He puts problem set on the blackboard and goes over it atleast 2 times before the exam. But you have to work that problem set then you will do fine. It's really wonderful and I love his humor and how he entertains his students. :)

Dr. White is an amazing professor. Not only does he teach you what's on the syllabus, he also relates it to your daily life. I suggest you do the recommended problem sets and attend all the lectures, especially the reviews. There is no homework other than labs. Textbook is not used. If he repeats something, it WILL be on the exam. Fairly easy.

For the first time in my life, Chemistry wasn't a complete nightmare. Dr. White was very clear and at the same time entertaining. He makes it very obvious what you need to know for your exams, and gives very clear concise examples. Throws in some nerdy jokes one a while to keep you awake. I highly recommend him.

As a nursing transfer student I was not excited about orgo at all, I would TOTALLY recommend taking him over any other orgo teacher. The class is not easy but if you attend all of his classes you will receive a B or A in his class. It is a lot of memorizing all fill in the blanks but he tells you what you need to know! He makes class fun and jokes!

He lent me his textbook in the beginning of the year, but I never used it because he teaches 100x better than the book. He is leaps and bounds above any of my professors at UIUC. Funny, understanding, lovable, and extremely intelligent. Take this course with him, or NOT AT ALL. Nothing bad to say about him at all. All-around perfect professor.

I was very nervous to take this class because I heard how hard it was. That quickly changed after the first day of class. His way of teaching makes everything so easy and understandable. He makes sure you know what you're doing in lab before touching anything. He goes over every test and answers every question. You'll be an expert in chemistry without feeling like you gave an arm and a leg for it.

I have no doubt Dr. White was successful working in industry, but his real gift is teaching! I was apprehensive to take Org Chem but he explains it so clearly and provides such great practice problems, that I learned so much. Class was kept interesting with real-world examples. If you need to take Org Chem, take it with him - I really enjoyed it!

Dr. White makes organic chemistry easy. Go to class, take good notes, and do the problem sets. Use your old tests as study guides for the final exam. You take his final exam and you take the ACS department final, he will drop your lowest test score. Just show up to class and do the work, not that hard and he's a nice guy.

I rated him earlier in the semester - but I am just following up to say that I stand by what I said before. Take him. He is honestly one of the best instructors I have ever had. Also - I am horrible in any science class, but he explained things so well that I actually understood it! Class is based on 4 exams/final/labs.

TAKE DR. WHITE. He wants his students to succeed. He records all of his zoom lectures and posts them on his youtube page. There are labs, 4 tests, and one final. The material is not easy at all but Dr. White explains everything and has office hours as well. As long as you keep up with the practice problems and watch the videos, you will pass!

Dr White is very good at explaining Chemistry and being approachable for hard subjects. He really made me like Chem. I wish I had him when I was in high school.

Best college professor I've had thus far. He is super clear with what he is looking for and what you should study for upcoming tests, and always has a positive attitude. Takes the time to really make sure you understand concepts and will go above and beyond to help you with any question.

Dr. White is an amazing instructor! His lectures are thorough and gives you enough time to take notes. He gives you practice problems for each chapter and if you do the practice problems the exams should be a breeze.

Professor takes a lot of time to make lectures engaging, even if it is a little awkward. He is passionate about the material and makes sure everyone understands it. Overall, this is class is a walk in the park as long as you show up and understand the material.

I cannot stress this enough, if you're taking chem take it with Dr. White! He keeps his lectures light and easy to follow, and does practice problems during class. He prioritizes learning over memorization so some important information will be provided for tests. You can tell he is very passionate about chem and cares a lot about his students.

Dr. White is the best professor I've had this far..I am currently taking his organic chem class at ECC . I wish I would have had him for my first chemistry class and that's why I wanted to write this review. He is the best, he has a sense of humor and he relates organic chemistry to everyday life. If his course is available, TAKE IT!

This is the first chemistry class I've taken, and I'm so glad it was with Dr. White. Such a sweet guy, and he really cares about student success in his class. He has real world experience in chemistry and his passion is evident, which makes for engaging lectures and labs. No textbooks required, tests and labs are fairly easy and straightforward.

Dr. White is an amazing professor, he takes his time over important information and he always tries to make sure that everyone is understanding and following him with the material. He points out all the important information that is going to be on the test and does a review before each test. The lab is very straightforward and easy.

Dr. White was by far the best professor I've ever had here at COD. He truly cares about your success as a student. He will do everything he can to help you get a better grade. His lectures are super fun. They are not boring at all. He cracks jokes to keep his class fun. He provides many examples on the board that are super helpful to you! LOVE HIM!

Before this class, I had a big fear of science so I had left chemistry till my last semester. Dr White is such an amazing teacher that genuinely cares about his students. He chooses the most basic and easy way to memorize and understand the material! He is such an amazing teacher! I felt so confident in the class I thought of pursuing chemistry!

Dr. White is not only a great professor but also a wonderful person. During his class I experienced a medical situation that caused me to leave class early a couple of times, yet he did his best to accommodate everyone. He cares about students learning the material and prioritizes their safety during labs. I really learned a lot in his class!

If you're thinking about taking him, TAKE HIM! Absolutely wonderful human! Genuinely cares to make sure that you are understanding the material and breaks it down to make it easy! He's easily accessible to reach out for help. Does not overload you on work. Goes over all material you will need to know on tests and quizzes. TAKE HIM! won't disappoint

Dr. White is the best there is at College of Dupage. I struggled with Chemistry in High School and was so nervous but he is amazing.He is willing to meet with those who need help. I would take him for more classes if I could. The grade you earn is honestly up to you AND how much work you are willing to put in.He cares about you. Highly recommend!

Best professor I had at COD, hands down. I learned a lot of cool things in this class about chemistry that I will never forget. He repeats important information many times which helps you remember them. He is very knowledgeable in Chemistry and explains a difficult problem in a way you can understand. I wish all the professors would be like him!

No joke one of the best professors at cod, professor white made chemistry really easy, I didn't have to spend that much time studying for the exams. His youtube videos and practice problems were basically what were on the exams. He was super understanding and a great grader. Best professor ever take him you wont regret it!!!

Dr. White is truly amazing he wants you to succeed so he will do all he can to help you do so. He gives you all of the tools to succeed, use them! Not an easy class but with his help and all of the resources he gives it makes it so easy to understand. Rare to find a professor who actually cares about the students!

BEST CLASS EVER! Take him! He taught me so much and really made chemistry enjoyable. I did not know what to expect going into chemistry, but he makes everything as simple as it can be. Join his office hours, watch lectures, do practice problems, and you'll be fine! Answers emails within a few hours or a day the most! Wants you to succeed!

He goes above and beyond for his students to make sure they pass. He gives you everything you need for tests and quizzes so you don't have to search all over for study material. He responds pretty quickly to emails and is very understanding, just an overall amazing teachers.

Dr. White is probably the best professor I've ever had. He has his lectures on a schedule where you can access yourself—they are clear, helpful, and fun. Chemistry may be a tough subject but he is extremely helpful during his online office hours and easily reachable through email. I highly recommend taking him, he truly cares about students.
