Lectures are long and repetitive, but he doesnt record so you have to attend or you will not do well. 2 tests each worth 50%. First test was OK. Pretty much right from text. Final was terrible as FITB answers were marked by a computer and only very specific answers were marked correctly, even tho many were actually correct. I would not recommend

Only two 50% exams and has long lectures not recorded. The multiple choose questions were not focused on main concepts like he claims. I would not recommend this course. The content is great, however the way you are tested does not reflect what you know and he thinks that a good class average is around 60%. Do not take this course.

I took Positive Psychology with Dr. Hart in a virtual format & truly loved this class. His lectures were not just repeated from the text like most. His paper was more than fair, and a refreshing change from typical psych papers! Exams were fair; he gave plenty of hints. Easy if you were in class (i.e. Did Dr. Hart go the full 3 hours on X date?).

The midterm and final exam are each worth 50% of your final grade and are entirely multiple choice. This is unfair to many students because, not all students do well on multiple choice. There is nothing to bring up their grade and they have no choice but to exceed on the tests which are very difficult.

His prof was TERRIBLE!! We had 2 exams both worth 50% of our mark each! It was so unfair. To make things better all the exam questions were taken from the textbook! None of the questions on the exams correlated at all with the lectures he gave! On top of that, he would spend five minutes talking about a slide that had 2 points on it!! Terrible prof

He was pretty cool Im really not sure why he has such a bad rating. He only gave a midterm and final but they were more than fair (quite easy imo) and if you attended the classes you got at least 4 marks per lecture given (8 lectures would equate to 32 questions). Read the text and go to class and its an easy A!

I feel like Dr Hart gets a bad reputation because he is content heavy. However, as long as you read the text and go to his lectures, his class is no problem. He also offers bonus marks to boost your final mark. If you need the credit and are interested in the course topic, he is a great prof :)) A warning is that his classes are usually 7p-10p!!

Terrible prof. He posted the syllabus after 6 weeks of the course and switched the class to a zoom meeting half the time even though it was supposed to be in person. Dr Hart also thinks that the class average should be no better than a C+ and will curve the marks down if it's higher. Do not take his class if you don't want your mark to be curved.

Horrible prof he was a complete mess he kept mixing up the chapters he was supposed to teach and then would end up telling us to ask the GA. This course had 1 class per week and half of them were moved online last minute. If you want a good grade don't take his because he will curve down the class average if its "too high" as in above a C+.

He was a terrible lecturer and went on tangents every single class. He provided no feedback for any tests or assignments. Class was often cancelled an hour before our start time and moved to zoom. His exams are online, but extremely challenging as he gives a small time limit.

Exams are ridiculous. 114 questions in 86 minutes, and a short answer that you can only answer in less than 20 words. easy right? wrong. his ga and him throw darts at a board to determine the grade for his short answer question. Asks BS questions on his exams about his life story that he expects you to remember from his first lecture.

I don't know where the positive ratings are coming from. Probably his GA tbh. Final exam we have less than 45 seconds per question for 120 questions, and some of the questions are a paragraph long. Weirdly worded, super specific, even if you study there is no guarantee you will do well.

As a professor you should know when to call it a day and throw in the towel. The man thinks you can throw 119 questions on an online test with a disproportional time limit and think its doable. His lectures feel like a broken record player, we went from a full class at the beginning of the sem to only like 5 attendees. He's lost it unfortunately

Taken his classes multiple times, each time its the same thing with a different subject, in my opinion he basically serves as a gatekeeper of a high GPA. The lectures are just a mechanism to force you to adopt his thinking, the lecture questions reflect that. Trick and niche exam questions, and irrelevant nonsense. Seems like hes out to mess with u

Kenneth Hart gave assessments that devoted many hours per week between readings, lectures, and weekly assignments that took hours altogether. Hart's exams were online but only gave about 45 seconds per question when the questions themselves took some time to read as they were long. In lectures, Hart would go on unnecessary rants.

Dr. Hart is a very easy professor. His midterms and exams are usually online. Going to lectures can be semi-helpful but is definitely not mandatory. Although his assessments are a lot of questions in what seems like a short time, it is 100% doable. Would recommend his classes, as you do not have to attend too many classes and can get a high grade.

Nearly done the class and not much to say. He is very kind and generous but taught almost no information during the class. 95% of learning is from textbook reading done at home despite 3 hours of lectures/week. Almost every class explains very simple upcoming assignments (repetitive) Group work - everyone gets same grade. Easy to get good grades.

Kenneth was so unprofessional and disrespectful! On several different occasions he said "if you don't speak English you don't belong in this country" or " if you need accommodations then you're just stupid". He did not respect anyone in his class and continuously spoke down and used derogatory language towards us. Do NOT sign up for his class.

I would not recommend taking this class, at least with this professor. I have other friends in this course with a different prof and they enjoy it, however he is not the best.
