Dr. D is wonderful. He knows his stuff. He is educational and entertaining.
Good professor. Interesting lectures. Exams are kind of tough, but fair-you know what will be on them, just need to study hard.
Dr. D is a good professor and knows his stuff. Class is interesting but exams are very in depth. He gives you a study guide but its like 8 pages so if you want to do well start the study guide at least a week before the exam!! Attendance is also a big thing with him. All in all I would suggest taking him for this class, just be prepared.
Teacher teaches class like he is a priest. He believes that when you take this class, that its the only one your taking. This class requires hours beyond hours of studying if you are a student that has no ability to remember long lists of information. In this CLASS YOUR ARE GRADED UPON ONLY (3) THREE TEST. Thats is it.
Dr. D is great! His class isn't the easiest but if you keep up you should do ok. It's everything a college-level course should be and more!
Good guy, tough class. he beleives his test is the only one you will be takeing during midterms and finals. Take someone else unless you have an irresistable urge to learning nothing but OB. He isnt a bad guy... Just very demanding.
F**k this guy. He teaches his class like it was the last class on earth. If your late to his class you might as well not show up b/c he'll call on you the whole class and remember you as the kid being late. If you cheat he'll throw you out of school.
Very interesting class, he definitely knows his material. (WTF is that rater before me talking about... if you get caught cheating you get thrown out? Is that some kind of surprise? Welcome to College idiot.)
Let's keep it real. He is a good professor but his test are too in depth. His study guide is 8 pages of stuff that is totally uneccesary. He teaches the class like it is a doctorate course and he needs to tone it down or go teach in the doctorate program. Most people drop out of his class.
Dr. D. is probably the hardest prof i ever took. He had the hardest tests, the biggest 8, 10, 13 page study guides but if you learned them no reason you couldnt pass the class. You deserve to get kicked outw if you cheat. Great guy. C'mon, he'll even give you hints on the test if you suck up your pride and ask him for help.
He's tough and he can be a little vague sometimes...but if you ask him for help, he'll go out of his way to help you out and clarify any points that you may be confused with. Dr. D is a true asset to CSU.
Disciplined and organized. Covers the material in depth. Doesn't waste your time. Study quides are sample test questions. Tough but fair tests.
THis class is alot of work.....but can be easy if you keep, read the chapter, and DO THE REVIEW SHEET before the tests. the test questions come right off the review sheets. Good teacher loves to teach this class, Try not to be late for his class tho, he doesnt like that.
Very interesting class. Great Teacher. BUT studying for the tests can be challenging. 3 Tests. You are given a study guide w/ mult choice & short ans questions. They show up exactly the same on the test. I find myself memorizing most of the material. A lot of info to learn in one semester. Don't take this class & 4 others at the same time, tho.
Hard. Fair. Don't cheat or he'll throw you out. Don't fall behind. He is the best I've had in the school. Take him if you want to learn something.
Expects you to come to class! Imagine that! Expects you to work hard. Tests are harder than necessary but he gives study guides and on-line chapter notes. If you expect to get a passing grade just for coming to class don't take him. I am using this stuff in my job right now.
...Don't take this class if you have other classes. He expects you to spend all your time on his class! Tests are crazy also!
He gives very difficult exams, but gives you a lot of chance to prepare for them. He loves what he teaches I think, and works very hard to teach the material. Also, I think he takes distractons in class too personal, and works hard to learn names and interact with class members.
One has to have a very good memory for this class. He gives study guides, and it helps, but it consists of a LOT of questions and fill-in-the-blanks. His teaching style was Ok, but one had to be prepared to answer oral questions in class.
extremely hard tests are too long and not enough points available for grade
I am shock that this guy got such good marks on here. Let me begin by saying that I am a very reasonable student and I hardly ever badmouth professors. But this guy is ridiculous. Like someone else said, he teaches class like a priest. Very self-righteous. The material is totally impractical in a real world setting. HE WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A CHILD.
3 hard tests (about 35-40 multiple choice 5-7 short answer) not comp. Pop quizes, so prepare for each class. Hidden assignments in online prep materials for some chapters. May make you dance or sing if you're late. Nonetheless, an experienced prof.
Great teacher, entertaining lecturer- expects a lot from his students but makes sure that you have all of the needed information before a test. Highly recommended but be prepared to study.
This guy is horrible! Like everyone else has said before me, he thinks his class is the only thing that matters. If you are taking 4 or more classes don't bother. He will try to sell himself to you on the first day, denying everything said about him on here... Which is true, he will lie and act like the best teacher. Take someone else.
Ok so this guy needs to realize his course is a level 350, not 600. Tone it down or teach graduate level courses! He likes what he teaches but demands way to much from you. Study guides are insane. Take someone else, all the other OB teachers have great reviews. He takes the info from the book (which is common sense! duh) and makes it so much hardr
Great professor! Loved his MLR intro class--as close to psychology as you can get in the business world:)
Dr. Dunegan is rude. He constantly makes inappropriate sexual remarks, with regards to some purple thong fetish. This guy creeped me out. I couldn't take hearing about his little remarks anymore.
study guides for each test contain EXACT test questions. people who complain are lazy. you have to study but its school, what did you expect?? very interested in what he teaches. makes everything EXTREMELY clear, maybe even too much so, but you wont be left confused. wish i could take every class with him or prof like him.
Great professor who is very knowledgeable about this course. you must put in your own effort in order to do well. Thats not too bad after all you are the student
this guy takes mlr way to seriously. anyone who is going ahead with higher education should be aware of everything in this class and if any of the studies are new you should reconsider your path in life. he would be a great graduate teacher for anyone who is INTERESTED in the hr role.
He gives you all of the questions that will be on the test all on a study guide prior to the test. The catch: 1. you have to find the answers to them. 2. He gives you like 200 questions and only 40 of them are on the test. He's kind of annoying. But easy to work with for the most part.
He IS annoying...for certain, however if you are there everyday you will receive full in-class credit. The study guides are waaaaay to long, my advice study the short answers they require the most writing and are worth more points. If you ar e a person who is punctually challenged do not take this course. He will try to embarrass you!!!
love this guy ! just get your head around the study guide and it's an A.. funny in class.. you have to be prepared to be called on b/c he will know your name!
DUnegan is unique. he is VERY passionate about OB and he shows that and he expects you to be just as passionate. Not alot of work...three exams that almost mirror the study guide. my advice about the work, KNOW the study guide...its a bit long but u will pass....for certain. His attendance policy is MANDATORY. be on time or u will regret it!
Dr. D is a very good teacher. Very passionate about his subject material! As long as you follow (almost memorize) his study guides and attend class, ready to participate, you will do absolutely fine!
gives a long long study guide. you will ace the test if you know it all tho. based on book mostly. great favor by issuing us an older edition, book only about ten bucks! he can be a little annoying but hes just trying to liven up the class. if you miss a class assignment you dont get to make it up. you can miss class but for godsakes be on time!!

Good professor, just don't be late! Master the study guide, and you will do fine.
would not recommend him he makes the material much harder than what it really is true you should read the book but he gives trick questions on the test and doesn't like to answer questions directly. Took the same course over with another teach, understood material and learned a lot.
Not helpful. Thinks he is a lot smarter than he is and makes a potentially fun class a real pain.
finally someone who expects students to perform. this guy holds up his end of the bargain. you want a free ride? don't take him. want to skate? don't take him. want an education? take dunegan.
He gives good lectures and his teaching is very good, however, his treatment of students as if they are two year olds takes away from the quality of his teaching. If you are late, you must wait outside for entry with a note and he often does not provide answers to questions during reviews. One grade deduction when late for an exam.
this guy overgloated his class, makes the study guides extremely hard to study off of, basically i would not adivse taking his class
Yes his study guide's are ridiculous and you have to take time to study the whole study guide. He does this to get you to learn the information and it really is helpful I learned so much out of that class. It is interesting material as long as you do the study guides and memorize them, you'll get an A or B.
This guy may know organizational behavior but has little knowledge in educational psychology. He makes his class and study guides much harder and more confusing than they should be. Consequently, most memorize the material - learning nothing.
He is a really good professor. Makes material clear and gives study guides for tests so you know what to expect on the test. Has a lot of passion and knowledge.
Good lectures - teaching is very good, however, treatment of students as if they are 2 year olds detracts from his teaching quality. Late= wait outside until he feels like letting you in, have a note, may have to dance a jig- minus 10% when late for exams & often doesn't give answers to ?'s when asked-C+ after 10% deduction on final. I was late
Dr.D does treat students like adults. He makes you accountable for your own actions. If you are late, you are accountable. Just like in the real world. Grow up already. If you don't think being on time is important, ask your employer!
Dr. Dunegan is a very knowledgeable and charismatic man. He treats students with respect and does his best to accommodate everyone to the best of his abilities. As he spent most of his graduate career studying Organizational Behavior, his tests can seem a bit "overwhelming". DO THE STUDY GUIDE!!!! It will do wonders for you!
If you proceed to sign up for his class, you have been warned against it. You would have to be a glutton for punishment! He has the worst style of teaching, requiring students to memorize everything he puts out, everything. It's more about him power tripping than teaching.
Easy homework, tests are ridiculously difficult. Test reviews are several hundred sample questions long. Hard to make sense out of his logic, he acts like he's one of the greatest teachers ever, but he just ends up falling short. Actually, the book is way more understandable!
The material deals with getting people motivated and workplace psychology basically, so you'd think he, more than the avg. prof, would know how to get the most out of his students. Nope. His 200 question study guides were excessive & counter productive. He beats around the bush w/his explanations often leaving students more confused.
Makes students accountable for their own actions. This guy is good. He is NOT easy but if you do what you should in an upper level college course you should do well. Don't procrastinate. Do the study guide. Don't expect to get a passing grade just for coming to class.
Don't buy the textbook even if he tries to convince you he puts his notes on blackboard and you can use those to answer the study guide which is over 400 question. My first D ever!
Ended up really liking him! He has lots of enthusiasm and his sense of humor is hilarious. His teaching style makes you motivated to study on a regular basis. He forces participation by calling on every student frequently so you have to know your stuff! Fortunately, poor students really suffer in his class and for once get the grades they deserve
Dr. D is awesome. Yes, his test are hard and his study guide is comprehensive, but he is all about making sure his student know the material. If you know the study guide than his tests aren't bad at all.
Don't be late!!
Very good professor. Don't be late. You are allowed a notecard on the test...utilize this to the fullest!! ...it helped my test grades alot. 3 tests worth 100 pts each and 30 pts for participation and attendence. You really dont need the book either...his notes are very detailed and the $200 book isn't necessary.
Favorite professor of fall semester. The guy is funny and makes a class that I thought would be really boring pretty interesting. Grade is out 3 tests(100 pts each) and 30 pts for attendance. If you're late, he makes wait outside and write why you are late. Covers lots of material but the study guides he gives you is really helpful.
Some professors truly care and want their students to do well. He does not. I feel like he genuinely does not care about half his failing class. He is very intimidating. Which does not encourage students to ask questions because they feel uncomfortable.
He is very intimidating and gets mad at his classes. He said we are the worst class he had in his teaching career... ALso he got so mad he dissmissed a class and hour early because nobody could answer his question... Anyway if you like to memorize everything take his class
Most arrogant self centered person I have ever encountered. He is so full of himself and his teaching method that he doesn't feel the need to help his students. I'd rather roll around in a bed of thumbtacks than sit in his class for one more minute
Hands down best professor ive ever had. All these people complaining didnt put the work in. Easy A.
Don't listen to the whine-hards. Dr.D is tough but more than fair. He doesn't spoon feed you so if you are looking for a class where you don't have to work why are you in college? Best prof I've had.
Nice guy, but extremely hard class. Lots to memorize.
Dr. D is a smart guy. However, he teaches at a much higher level then he should be for MLR 321. There is way too much information. The study guides are overwhelming and useless. He requires alot of time from you which is unrealistic. He gets frustrated easily. He makes some iffy comments sometimes. All that I can say, is information OVERLOAD.
I just loved him. The best instructor I've had so far. You won't pass the class only if you dont do anything or late (or miss) the class. Amazing lecture notes, power points, great explanation of the material. He is strict on being late. The study guides have actual test question and you can make 3"*5" cheat card to take on exam.
Don't buy text! Waste of $-he really doesn't use it. Provides slides, "web notes" and overwhelming study guides, which don't all coincide w/ ea other - very confusing. Strict attendance/tardy. SAYS he emphasizes concepts not memorization, but if u don't memorize lists/put them on 3x5 cheat sheet u will fail. Makes concepts clear as mud.
First college level course. Gave us all the material and expected us to put in the time. That's the way it should be. Study guides are way long but only has material covered so if you are studying, not just reading but studying, they are not that bad just time consuming. First class worth the tuition.
Please do yourself a favor and do not take his class. You will be truly confused and just plain out pissed off. He does not explain anything and if you ask a question he will try to give you a round about answer that actually is not answering the question. For the tests its a guessing game on what to study.
The only reason Dr.D may not seem clear is if you haven't done your homework. I agree with the person who said this was the first real college level class with college level expectation. Do the work and you'll be fine. Don't do the work and you will not skate by.
Absolutely one of the best professors I have ever had! If you show up, pay attention, and do the homework, you’ll pass. Attendance counts and he’s strict about being on time. You don’t need the book and he gives out very specific notes in class. Makes a study guide for each test and allows the use of a note card.
I am tired of the whining members of the class who want to get a good grade without putting in the time. This is college. The first professor who expected students to be on time. Good.
If you want someone who has no heart and is an egotistical maniac then take the class. He is going to assign seats and make people write notes when late for a class that they pay a lot of money for. The only thing he forgot to tell us is to bring our sippycups. You will not learn anything valuable in the class so just do yourself a favor and skip.
This class isn't meant to be as hard as he makes it. Take it with a different professor if you can for an easy A. The tests are way too difficult, even with the 1 note card cheat sheet you are allowed. Positives: You do learn a lot, he does care about the subject matter. Negatives: Ruin your GPA over a blow off class.
Good overall, knowledgeable and helpful. But you have to work.
The Class was very uninteresting and a waste of time. At one point everything starts sounding the same. Refused to curve exams even though material was rushed and didn't cover everything. If you want to do decent start the study guides as soon as he releases them.
The amount of resources this professor provides students with is above and beyond what I have experienced in college. He knows the material in and out and is extremely helpful if you care to seek help. He provides you with study guides that have all the questions from the exams on them! And don't bother buying the textbook.
This class can be an easy class but he is definitely a tough professor. Assigned seats the first day of class. if your late you have to wait outside the class with a written excuse on why. Class was 50 minutes so when it was time for test its like your rushing to complete it cause there so many questions. STUDY!MAKE SURE U UNDERSTAND THE THEORIES
not good choice
He's very clear about what he expects from you starting on the first day of class. I will admit that his study guides are lengthy, but he's a very knowledgeable professor that just wants his students to learn. His humor can be borderline offensive sometimes. Don't take him if you're looking for an easy A. You get the grade you deserve.
This professor expects a lot of work. You have to take an online quiz before every class just to go to class and maybe get surprised with a pop quiz. Tests are very hard but they are open note / open book, they're just very long- 8 extended response and 50 multiple choice.
This was a hard class! Make sure you prep for the exams by completing the study guides in advanced. You get 3 exams and lots of quizzes; but the exams make up most of the grade. He created videos to help with explaining the theories, but it was very hard! No feedback on exams and quizzes. Make sure to answer all parts of exam questions!
Provides bad feedback: gave me a 95% on an assignment because I spelled ONE word wrong, says things like "didn't answer the question" but doesn't explain why he thinks that
Dr. Dunegan is a GREAT professor. His class requires a lot of work but you learn so much from it. Attendance is not mandatory but there are in-class pop quizzes. He will give you the grade you deserve!! Exams are open book and open notes, but do not assume that means you do not need to study because you will run out of time. Overall, excellent prof
Professor Dunegan gives no appropriate feedback regarding online assignments or exams. For example I got one question wrong on an assignment and he gave me a 0. I emailed him about it and then he gave me half credit.. Homework is time consuming and worth 1 point. Exams are difficult and do not follow studyguides. Very disappointing.
Teacher has the worst attitude. Cant ask him anything without a snippy response. No extra credit. Doesnt care. Thinks hes gods gift because he has a Doc. Degree.
do not recommend taking him.
Dr. D. was a great professor. I learned a lot from him and had to work to get a good grade. He is very prepared and provides a lot of personalized notes/material.
Professor acts superior and arrogant. Requirements are clearly stated but ambiguous--expects all the written parts of the course to be understood by a fictional character, who is both somehow intelligent and clueless by my understanding. Doesn't provide feedback and only opens tests for 24 hrs on Sunday's defeating the purpose of an online course.
He needs to stop talking about himself in the third person, it's creepy. He also needs to take a chill pill, I don't understand how he grades. "you hit all the points but missed one" takes off ten points...... the assignment before that, I put random nonsensical information and got a better grade. one of the worst "teachers" ever.
the material was understandable and useful but the professor was awful. you are expected to read the powerpoints, the chapters, listen to his powerpoint lecture, and read any other supplemental material. the extra credit was essentially the homework and was only worth 1 pt and there could be up to 50 questions sometimes. i dont recommend.
He runs a pretty standard online class. OB is a dry subject and he doesn't try to make it interesting. He also invented a weird character that you have to "teach" when it comes to homework and exams. If you study and put the time in you'll be fine. I didn't notice the same harsh grading that some other comments suggest, maybe because it was online.
Have you ever taken a test and not allowed to answer your right or wrong answers? This is the first time in my life. This class was the worst online class I have ever had. If he is the professor, do yourself a favor and drop this class. I had all A's and now my first C in a long while. Terrible.
Truly wants to see you fail. Only opens the exams on Sundays and I cant even begin to explain the questions he gives you. They make no sense and tries to make them difficult and different but they just DO NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. Its one thing to make them challenging but to make them so confusing that he clearly wants you to fail is another.
A lot of complaints from other students but if you do the work and study the material you will do okay. He does give feedback but you have to ask for it. Be active in the class and ask for explanations.
Do not take him unless you have no choice. He acts like his class in the only one in the world, is condensing, and is a super tough grader with a mix of fair and absolutely ridiculous standards. He took a class with a pretty neat topic I was excited to learn about to me just crossing my fingers and hoping I passed. Avoid if you can
The questions on the exam and quizzes don't make sense. You can use the notes and PowerPoints all you want, but you are still going to average a C or a D on the quizzes/exams. He makes up his own questions with horrible grammar, punctuation, and spelling. You can pay attention to the lectures too, but the exams and quizzes will not be clear.
I would try to avoid. Business majors are required to take this class yet it is super hard for no reason. It's basically a psychology class that you think would be easy but is not. Even though its online it still really hard, avoid.
This professor is a super tough grader. This course covers a lot of material and he expects you to know it all like the back of your hand. The tests are all based upon how much you can apply the material and all questions require critical thinking. Be ready to study a lot.
The professor is kind when you connect with him over email and I feel like I learned a lot from this course; however, I could never showcase my understanding since all of the assignments were weirdly worded multiple choice questions and unnecessarily difficult and irrelevant essays. Avoid this professor if you are looking for an easy A.
Class covered complex topics involving management, psychology and sociology. Professor posted lectures, notes, slides, and text book reading for each chapter. If you take the time to go through the chapter notes and lectures you will do well. Good communication and he genuinely cares about how you're doing in the class.
Even if you study the notes, watch every lecture, video, do everything he recommends it won't matter. He is so obsessed with students getting quiz & exam question answers online that he writes every question so it doesn't even make sense anymore. The questions are so difficult. It's very sad.
LISTEN TO THE KID WHO NEVER LISTENED TO RATES. He is the absolute worse. All his test are not from notes, and made up. Test and quiz every week, and it's hard. Not a easy A course. Go with another professor. He is not a good professor.
Take this class if you are dedicated and ACTUALLY want to learn. People rate him poor due to lots of hw/quiz. Prof D. is highly respected, and he has years of experience in many fields so he's an expert in OB. He's done it all and he genuinely cares about his students. If you care about this subject, you'll learn a lot that you can apply to life.
Challenging, but achievable course. The syllabus lays out very clear requirements. Follow them and you'll do fine. Weekly reading, quizzes, and a few exams, but no discussion boards or group projects. He provides excellent course notes and lecture videos. Do not ignore them because they are critical material to passing the exams.
I would definitely take another class with Dr. D! Material was not overly challenging, but you have to be able to apply the theories and topics for each chapter. Tests were difficult, but if you study you'll be fine. He is also easy to get a hold of if necessary.
