Kimble is a good teacher, but he makes you work for it! You will learn a lot in that class. He is opinionated, so if you have a problem with that, don't take him....if you don't mind then you will most likely enjoy his class.

Very Conservative Republican, knows what he is talking about. Listen to him if you have him, he is very set on your undivided attention and don't be late! LOL!

If you're easily offended you may have a problem, he's very sarcastic but means well. feel free to throw a remark back at him. overall, just pay attention and you'll have fun.

Yes, everyone should have a Kimble experience. I agree he doesn't lecture like most others,but he is up front in telling you that the vast majority of work in learning the material rests on you and not reading the book first is pure laziness.

Kimbell is a riot. He pokes fun at students in good fun. He makes sure his lessons are clear. Great prof.

He was awsome made a boring subject much easier to pay attention in. Engages the students in conversation and as class progresses he gets to know the students and even will joke around with them in turn. I would recommend this teacher to anyone.

Kimble injects the perfect dose of life into this somewhat bland subject. I received an A and a B in 201 and 202 respectively. Although he's guaranteed to pull no punches as far as grading goes, I know I'll never forget his classes and I had a blast.

Ken's a funny guy. He has interesting political views and shares them with the class often. He's cool to you if you're cool to him.

Loved his class and plain on taking the other two even though I dont need em. Think it is neat that a teacher teaching Accounting will stand there and make fun of accountants, its a riot. Picks on students all the time but not in a mean way, makes it fun and interesting. Keep up the good work.

Enjoyed all classes w/Kimble. You have to work, especially in econ, if you want to get a passing grade. Most of the people who complained in our class put forth little effort.

The Kimble experience. It's love or hate with no in between. Kimble is short, straight and to the point and pokes fun at anyone and everyone. Tests resemble homework, and quizzes are where he messes with students. Beware if he says it's "cool" or "neat", it means you have some extra work to do.

Kimble is hilarious!!! He is a from what i heard a hard ass, but he actually cares about his students. I had him for 101-103 because his tests were very straight forward(Got an A in all classes). If you are an Ohio state fan be sure to rub it in his face. He is on the BLUE side.

Expected this class to be boring, boy was I suprised! Easily one of my favorite teachers here, just read the book and listen to lecture and you'll do fine-if you like your professors boring, stiff, and humorless then he's not for you.

I took this class through a video course of his and it was so easy. If you just memorize the study guide questions, they are the same questions on the tests (give or take a few).

Fun, easy to get along with, gives you hell, but explains material well and is willing to help if you need further explaination. Makes you work, but not overly difficult.

Very funny and nice. Made class fun.

Great teacher. Effectively gets across the main topics of each chapter, but student's must read the book. The study guide and website are extremely helpful because that is where the test questions come from. He shares his politcal views and is very entertaining. No problem getting an A or B if you take the time to study and listen to the lectures.

Excellent teacher. He is fair, very easy going, teaches those who want to learn and makes sure you're confortable doesn't belittle anyone quite easily one of the best teachers I've ever had, TAKE THIS INSTRUCTOR.

Excellant teacher. Jokes around a lot with the students. Knows his material and strives to make sure you understand it. Plan on taking his Econ classes next.

Very easy class if you do the homework. Anyone that is a slacker will hate this teacher, anyone willing to work hard will love him.

The guy is a badass, he cracks jokes left and right and really know his stuff. HIGHLY recommend taking kimble's class because all the other accounting profs will make you fall asleep, its ridiculous.

I always looked forward to going to Kimble's class because he is entertaining. He could slow down the lesson a little, however. Accounting is just a very hard subject to learn, so if you don't do the homework, you won't do well. I took Kimble for 111 & 112. I would actually recommend doing more problems than Kimble assigns to absorb the material.

Kimble is hilarious!! Econ is hard, so if you think that you are going to skate by, think again. Kimble really tries to get you to understand though. He tells you exactly what will be on the test, you just have to pay attention. Read the book and take the practice quizes!!

Very easy if your apply yourself. Do the homework and go to class...you'll do well. Great teacher, he makes it fun.

Kimble is a riot! Not the easiest professor but makes it fun. Not an easy A. He does make fun of students so if you have thin skin I'd avoid him. I ended up with a C but took him again for the next 2 Econ classes just b/c I liked his sense of humor. If you're willing to work hard he's willing to help. Take advantage of office hours.

Kimble's the best there is but you'd better be prepared to be challenged. He's the type of Prof. that brings out the best in you, if you got! When he's done with you; you'll know it fron-back, over-under and all the way around. He is the Maverick of Acct. Prof's but you have to be just as tough as he is or you'll fall along the side.

Not an easy A class. Must do your homework or he'll make fun of you. Not afread to say what's in his mind. Know his stuff. Love his sense of humor. If you are just looking for an easy professor he is not the one.

Very interesting teacher. He knows he stuff. Made things real clear with real world thinking. Some people can get it all from lecture, others will have to read the book a lot. Still a very interesting and funny teacher!

Kimble is great. I had absolutely no interest in accounting before this class, actually I was dreading it, but now I'm an accounting major. Do the homework, COME TO CLASS! speak up if you're not sure about something. He'll help. Definitely, DEFINITELY take him.

Definitely plays favorites. Make sure you get on his good side early on and he is a great teacher. Class was very hard though, but if you came to class and did your homework then it wasn't bad at all. Try not to take him seriously, i guarentee you'll drop his class if you do.

I loved his class. I like the attitude he has plus he is a very attentive professor. He really wants everyone to do well in his class, and you will if you go to class and attempt the homework BEFORE you get to class.

This is an extreme teacher who really enjoys his job and would reccomend for all accounting courses!

You will either hate him or love him! I loved him. If you can't take a joke and don't enjoy laughing while learning..then don't take this class. He made every day fun and exciting. He makes sure you understand. But if you don't do the work, you won't get the grade. He holds you accountable for your grade! Will take him again, if I can!!!!

Having to have this class for my major, I signed up once again, dreadfully imagining what it would be like. I ended up with an A from Kimble. He is a great teacher who really pushes you to want to succeed in his course (he gives you crap if you don't). Attend class and do the work he gives you and there's no reason you shouldn't pass!

Mr Kimble was a hoot. Either you loved him or you hated him. He was an excellent teacher. He knew the subject matter extremely well. He wants his students to learn. He didn't play!

He's not kidding when he says you need to read each chapter 3 times to understand. Go to class, pay attention, and read. He's tough, but he's fair and he's fun.

You can tell by the reviews who didnt bother doing homework or reading the chapter before class. Kimble is a straight forward easy A if you do the work. He's helpful if your brave enough to ask but you'll get picked on until someone else screws up. Great instructor for Econ and ACC. Dont let the bad reviews scare you off. Take him and enjoy.

Very knowledgeable, very opinionated. You will either love him or hate him -- I loved him. His class was challenging in that you had to read and understand all the chapters he goes over, but he was very helpful in class and always made it clear what was expected. He does say things like "God, I hate liberals. Jesus Christ I hate 'em," an awful lot.

He is very strict but you will learn a lot

This was my second time taking economics, it was a challenging class but I came out of it with a hard earned B+ and I now understand the material. Kimble was a great teacher and not just there for the paycheck, he shows interest in the students and their comprehension of the material. Definitely would recommend him!!!

Had him for Econ, taking him again for Accounting. He's a tuffy, but very smart and you will learn a lot. He does care about his students, he just has a lot tolerance for stupidity. Come to class, do your homework and put forth EFFORT. I think he rocks.

Had him for acc 121.. was a very good teacher. if he taught 122 i would want to take him again. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. He does not put up with laziness, which is a good thing in my opinion. he likes to keep his students in check. if you don't do your work he will pick on you, but he will also reward you with good comments if he knows that you are trying

This guy knows his stuff that's for sure. However, he will find every chance he can to knock on Sinclair and you because you go there. If you take him be prepared for lots of grief throughout the quarter through cheap insults. Have tough skin and you'll be okay. Study the book if you want to do well!

Great teacher! Looked 4ward 2 every class. U have 2 have a sense of humor! He will call u out if u don't do ur homework,make silly mistakes on tests, come in late, or use ur cell in class. It's important that u do class assignments n read b4 class so that u can ask ?'s. listening 2 the lectures alone is not going to do it. u need it all 2 pass!

I am just finishing up a quarter in Accounting with Mr. Kimble. He has been loads of fun and made an otherwise boring subject interesting to me.

I took his Econ classes 10 years ago and his stuff has stuck with me. I would take him again in a heart beat.

Kimble is a great techer as long as you can take a joke. Constantly cracking jokes on his students but thats what keeps them interested in a class that should be very boring. Personally I look foward to every class and I know other people do too. I wish he taught all of my classes

Kimble is great. He gives nicknames to students with interesting last names (I was subjected to that). He teaches well, and you can always get help from him after class if you need it. Just do yourself a favor with him: don't show up late, do your homework, and DO NOT, for the love of all that is holy, use your cell phone in class. :]

The best teacher I have ever had. This is literally the only class that I have ever looked forward to going to. He inspired me to study hard and do well at a subject I really didn't care about. The first time I took accounting was at WSU. I got a D. When I took it from Kimble, I got an A. Mr. Kimbel was a big reason for my good grade.

Most unique prof i've ever had! He has a pretty foul mouth and it is absolutely hilarious! He gets a little off topic occasionally but I have learned more about accounting, politics, and the IRS in one quarter than I have in my whole life. Excellent teacher if your not a cry baby and you can handle showing up to class. Tons of extra credit too

He knows the material would recommend for anyone who does not understand the principles of accounting. Although his test are not easy. He give tons of extra credit. He is willing to help you understand if you show an interest.

I actually had Kimble for 3 classes a few years ago. I was having a tough time with accounting so I went to his office. The man would NOT let me leave until I had the problem nailed. He would ask, I would say got it, he would say, no you don't. Start over. If you want to learn accounting, take his class. If you want an easy A....DON'T.

I LOVED having Kimble as my professor! If you want to half butt this class, DO NOT take him. I love prof. Kimble, he is a great teacher!!! You will learn so much in his class and he has a great personality buuutt, if you are lazy, emotionally connected to your cell phone, or looking for "academic welfare"(an easy A) then he is not the teacher for you.

Took this class online. Subject is difficult to take online as it feels a bit self-taught. Mr. Kimble is always available to answer questions and will make time to meet if necessary. Tests fair, but no notes or books allowed. Grades quickly. Has emailed a couple of times to check in and make sure we all understand material.

He presents a challenging class. He rambles and uses foul language, but appreciates students who try. This is the first B I have ever received, but I learned a lot. Try to avoid his classes when there is a presidential election going on... especially if the Republicans are going to lose.

Kimble is completely crazy! Awesome teacher. If you show up, do your work, and put in an effort, you'll be fine. Skip class and blow off homework and he'll ride you harder than a Christmas Huffy. Not for those easily offended. He will make you actually care about your class.

He is hard on his students sometimes, but I noticed that was just because he really wanted to make sure we got it. Doing your homework in this class is really the only way you will know you have it, plus he might pick on you if you don't.

Favorite teacher at Sinclair so far. Would take accounting with Mr.Kimble 1000x over. The course in not a cake walk and he expect you to act like an actual college student. If you aren't willing to show up, do the homework, and put the time in..take another professor. As long as he see's your trying to do well, Kimble is very helpful.

he is really good! he has a different teaching style, but once I discovered that reading the textbooks made a huge difference, I found his lectures very helpful. Doing your homework is very important. He goes through the homework in class, so you can see what you are doing wrong and ask questions. The tests are really easy. easy A if you work hard

Kimble is dank if you go to class and actively attempt to do well. He clearly explains things and will go over something 50 times if you don't get it. He does not put up with excuses or bull though. So if you plan on skipping class and making excuses don't take his class because he will fail you and make sure you know it is your fault.

Complex. Really good teacher. However, he is your typical retired white male who is rather rude and makes comments about "snowflakes" and tends to work in how women "can't drive" and are "too picky" into the course material. That being said, if you can over look this qualities as a person & appreciate his teaching methods - I would recommend him.

Absolutely an amazing teacher ! He welcomed me into his class when the online coursework was too much . He does write everything in a white board and is FAST so he ready to comprehend and ask questions

He is a tough teacher. Don't think this is a breeze course. Pay attention. He will help you if you need it but he will NOT hold your hand. We need more teachers like this that expect you to make something of yourself. Its not their job to give you a good grade, its your job to earn the grade.

There was a study module, short homework assignment, and short quiz each week as well as an exam every three to four weeks. Everything was open note and achieving an A was easy. I spent around two to three hours a week on this course. I never had to email the professor but some of his weekly emails to all of his students were demeaning.

Easy A class with a weekly study module, homework, and quiz. The exams were open-note and manageable. unstuckstudy was a great study aid alongside the textbook. The professor's emails were occasionally demeaning, but overall it was a straightforward course.
