He's super easy! class is suppose to be boring so dont expect it to be exciting but if you go to class you'll get an A

He is a very persoanl and nice guy. There is no real class structure, however, and consists mostly of watching movies. He requires 4 papers that he grades pretty easily. Other than that, there are no tests including midtrem or finals. Easy Class!

he is very easy and helpful, great to get along with. The only thing bad about this his teaching is that he let's students run over him. But if you do your work you'll get and 'A'.

Very respectful, clear, and helpful. He is by far one of the best professors I have yet to take at Valencia. The class itself is interesting which makes it very easy to pass. His class is comprised of a journal, 2 essays, and a group project. Recommended for everyone.

If you need to take a Humanities class, take Prof. Mansfield. He is fair, kind and cares about his students. He is easy going and keeps the stress level low. He gives out a lot of extra credit assignments so if you bomb a test, you can still get an easy A. All quizzes/tests are online and questions come straight from his study guides. No surprises.

He is soo nice and a very easy teacher! He is very hands-on in the sense that class won't be all lectures.. he does a bit of group work and plenty of videos and movies.. Also his quizzes are very easy!!! It is definetely an easy A!!!!

BEST TEACHER EVER!! Prof. M is wonderful, great, helpful...etc! Easy A class, quizzes are online and all info comes from powerpoint slides. There will be short essays to write...but in my opinion was easy to write. We also did a group presentation, watched about a movie or film each week. Highly Recommended!!

I have to say he is the best teacher I have had since I have been at Valencia, and I started in the fall of 2005. Mansfield geniunely cares about his students, sometimes more than some of them care about themselves. He is a very kind person. They don't make many people, like him in this world anymore.

20th Century Humanities: Professor Mansfield was an amazing professor. I learned a lot in his class. A lot of reading involved and papers. I think he is a very funny man (other students didn't find him too funny) and very caring. I was entertained with his new ways of teaching to keep us interested. The best!

OMG..this teacher is the best teacher i've ever taken....he is very easy...and you learn alot in his class. You have to watch alot of videos and movies that are just awesome...but they all pertain to the subject...he is really funnyyyyy and i know everyone in the class passed! Very easy, kind of boring though. You write a lot of journals and a few papers, but the word count is very minamal, this is deffintely a class you wont have to stress about or study for. EASY!!!

I have taken him before so I knew what to expect. Is kind of boring, but extremely easy and understanding. Will push back the due dates on major papers if the class isn't ready to turn them in. You don't do a lot of work, just read a few book and write papers on them and take quizzes on wbect. Easy A and I would take him again if I could.

Professor Mansfeild is the best!! He was extremely helpful, by phone... I took his on-line course and I do not see how everyone in the class could not have recieved an A+++ like I did. He is new to Webct6, so there were some tech. issues, but he was very accomadting with time and retakes of quizes. Highly recomended!!

Super EASY! He is extremely nice and there isn't much he expects except you have to turn everything in. As long as you get everything in it's an easy A. Buy the book because you need it for 9 different assignments. Easiest class I've ever taken and I learned a lot! :]

I really enjoyed Prof. Mansfield. His class was really easy bc he explained everything you needed to do/have. He is a nice guy and we did a lot of fun things in his class: movies, performances, presentations. He does like you to be in class but he isn't a stickler about it, very easy but fun too. Take him!

prof mansfield is a funny guy. the class is easy but it requires alot of reading and writing. i took the 6 weeks summer course so it seems alot but not hard. 2 test and 2 group project. fun stuff... he will work with you and help in any way he can.

I WOULD RECOMMEND STUDENTS TO TAKE HIS CLASS. He is one of the best teachers around. in college professor have this " you're on your own attitude." he's that "father" figure that wants you to pass. make sure you complete his assignments and make sure that you go to the writing center when necessary. He is a very nice person. If you can't get an A in this class, there is something wrong with you. Mansfield is accommodating to a fault and virtually all the information presented is actually interesting. I strongly recommend him for everything he teaches just on character alone.

I enjoyed Prof. Mansfield's online class. He had us read two really interesting books-"Man's Search for Meaning" and "The Question of God." No other textbooks were used. He also had very organized learning modules that had a lot of info. All of his expectations were explained at the begining of the semester and the class ran smoothly!

I'm taking Professor Mansfield HUM2250 now and it's the easiest class ever. I'm taking it online and never really have to go on. You can do assignments in advance and not do anything for weeks. Great and easy professor. Easy A!!!

He is incredible! I highly recommend this professor for every subject he teaches! This is my 2nd class I take with him, and he is still my fav professor! He is not too difficult, he like class participation, and he is very considerate, he understands students have lives outside of school, and he will work with you! TAKE HIM!!!!

Professor Mansfield is such a good teacher. He is so nice and understanding. If you accidentely miss a quiz on WEBCT , he will extend it for you. If only other professors were like him! Take him, do the work, and show up for class and you will have an A! Homework is pretty easy, so are quizzes and i learned alot!

Easiest online class i've ever taken. quizzes are a joke and no final exam. One book "question of God" with weekly discussions min. of 175 words. So easy. One paper to write min 1k words, but it was super easy. If I had to take more HUM classes I would definitely try to take him again online.

I took his online course and it was great! The text book (The Question of God) turned out to be a really good book, and it was only about $12 at Borders. There were weekly discussions, and quizzes every other week. No final, only a current event paper due at the end. DEFINITELY take this class with Professor Mansfield!

I absolutely love this class!!! i've had Professor Mansfield previously before and decided to take him again because i really like his teaching techniques... i like how he places everything on Webct, has useful resources online, helps you with whatever you ask him, overall he is the best teacher i've had.. if you're not lazy you'll pass!

Took Professor Mansfield's online class. Fairly simple. Weekly discussions on each chapter of the required book. 1,000 word paper due at the end of the semester...gives you the information for it during the first week of class. If you're willing to do the assignments, you'll come out with an A, no doubt.

He is a caring professor and makes 20th Century HUM interesting. Shows lots of video clips from INTERESTING movies (i.e. Forest Gump, Cinderella Man, etc.). NO exams in class. Online quizzes that are very easy. One paper on a cultural event (play, museum, etc.) that requires 1000 words BUT he gives you guidelines that make it easy to reach 1000.

I took Professor Mansfield's online class and it was a very easy A. There are only 8 quizzes, "The Question of God" book we have to read for discussions and a 1,000 word essay in place of a final exam. You can complete the course at you're own pace and finish weeks before the end of the semester. I would highly recommend his class.

I would recommend Mansfield. Some of his guidelines are redundant, and if you don't follow them exactly you will sometimes be extravagantly penalyzed. This is made up for with many extra credit opportunities. This class requires a decent investment of time, but it is easy to receive an A.

This course was great! A large amount of the coursework is completed online via Blackboard. Cultural Event paper is pretty easy. Easy A as long as you do the work and attend class. Prof. Mansfield is an AWESOME instructor, corny jokes and all ;)

Took this class online. It's very easy. Just read one chapter a week, and write a discussion on it. He posts lecture notes online with pictures. The tests are word for word from the notes. No finals, or midterm. Really enjoyed the Cultural Event assignment. Once again, easy but informative. It was the perfect class for me being a stay at home mom

He is one of my favorite teachers ever. His lectures are easy, and if you take notes, you'll do great on all the quizzes (which are online). No tests, a couple of papers, but very simple! Great teacher and extremely likable. He HATES cell phones so put them on silent before his class, TRUST ME. But great guy, and easy A!

online:Not a hard class, no text book. you use "the question of god". a discussion on each chapter as well as commenting on 2 other peoples. 8 quizzes, no mid term or final.But a final research paper, MUST BE DONE OR FAIL. Not a bad teacher, but VERY strict when grading, gave me 10 points off on a quiz because i didnt capitalize. got an A.

EASY. Just a lot of work. The best way to raise your GPA. Lots of extra credit. He even took my assignments after they were 3 weeks late and graded them with no penalty. It's different if you want to learn though. His voice is very monotone and he's easy to fall asleep on. But if you manage to stay awake, you'll find that he's pretty knowledgeable.

Hes a nice professor, but u have to do a lot of work. lots of writing assignments. no tests just quizzes which are online. A lot of extra credit. he is mono toned but hes very laid back. loves to show YouTube videos. Helps to understand the material if you are a visual learner. his grading system is based on points which is a plus. Good Luck! :)

Online: 12 weekly discussions on "The Question of God" (3 posts each); 8 timed quizzes on ? A LOT OF ? course material. One 1,200 word paper on event you attend. Very repetitive and time consuming class, but fairly easy and doable. Interesting book, especially if you like Psychology. Well set up, organized class. Clear expectations. Fair grader.

There are 4 papers to write plus a final project. He offers plenty of bonus opportunity. All around good guy, just go to class,highly recommend.

I am so glad I took this class online. It is a little more work than an onsite class, and it may seem intimidating at first with all the work but it really is not hard at all. I actually leared a lot. He responds to emails quickly and accepts late discussion post. Passed with an A! Take him, you wont regret I promise!

Easy class, took a LONG time to get work back. He was easy to understand and you could expect a schedule for when work needed to be handed in. He was understandable if you needed help or had problems. I would recommend him to friends, pretty easy class but a lot of busy work during the learning modules - but beats reading long textbooks.

Teacher was great! He give lots of extra credit, so you could make-up for the tests. The tests aren't that long, but the study guide is. You use only one literature book; and it's fun. Recommend this professor, you are going to like him a-lot.

Yes lectures are boring but for an easy A i wouldnt pass that up. yes you have to read 2 C.S Lewis books but those are a piece of cake! easy essays and all tests are online so you cannot fail those.

Extra credit, extra points given if he thought you went above and beyond the requirements. You have to go out of your way to get less than a b. It got to the point where 100% test scores were bringing down my average. Nice guy, fun class, a little bit of work and you've got an easy A. Would take many classes with him if I could.

This professor is very nice and helpful as I took his online class.If you did not recieve a good grade in his class before it's just because you must have not kept up woth his work.There will be lots of writing but they are interesting topics to learn about and most of the writing is your opinion on the issues presented.I really enjoyed this class

This class was relatively interesting and quite easy if you follow the syllabus, which I failed to look at several times. He did allow late assignents for partial credit and was VERY generous with extra credit. Let's face it though this is college not daycare. Read the assignments do the work. I loved the class by the way!

Great professor/class. Gordon rule credit so expect a lot of writing, but essays are your opinion about 2 CS Lewis books (easy, enjoyable reads). Six online tests from his class notes that are posted online so you can take at your convenience. He gives tons of extra credit opportunities and all were interesting. I ended up with like 115% average.

I took during the summer, and got an easy A. All tests are timed and open book. QUICK tip: copy & paste all of the study guides into a word doc and use cntl F to find topics during test taking. All test material is taken from study guides/videos. Discussion posts are super easy, and mostly based on your opinion of the required book.

Prof Mansfield is really easy to get along with. At first I had NO interest in humanities but he tries to make it interesting and I actually started to enjoy looking at old artwork. He tries to be funny and actually is sometimes lol. We watch some movies that were based on what he was teaching us at the time. Its hard to get a bad grade.

An amazing person and professor. If you do your work you will earn an easy A. He is just so darn likeable.I truly admire his teaching ability, natural talent and the passion he has for the humanities. I wish I had more time at Valencia, so I could take him again.I'm in my 9th semester and he is my favorite.Thank you professor, I will never forget.

amazingly easy course...NO TEXT BOOK! theres 3 main essays and one bs essay in the 1st week...a lot of extra credit and easy assignments <3ed this class... learned a lot about the 18th and 19th centuries that i never actually cared about before :-)

Good teacher, but the subject matter isn't really my cup of tea. But the classes are fun to attend, nevertheless. He's hilarious.

Took his class online definitely not an "easy A" but he gives more extra credit than any professor I've previously had so there is no excuse to fail. I would definitely take his class again.

As long as you follow the syllabus, watch the video, and visit the websites then you will do fine. Copy pasting will not always work so don't rely on it all the time. Some tests are available twice but not all.
