He really cares about you as a student. He tries to make everybody understand.

I cant say enough good things about this man. He is very religious but does not impose his beleifs on anyone. He makes class fun, makes the material easy to understand, and is always willing to help. It's too bad he isn't teaching at TTC full time

He is by far the BEST math teacher I have ever had! I used to hate math and have trouble, but he made it very easy to learn and ask questions. I am very prepared for math 110 thanks to his awesome teaching skills!

Excellent Teacher. He teaches full time at a highschool, 5 classes at the college, and still has all the time in the world for his students. He has come up with his own methods for teaching math which far exceed the methods I have learned anywhere else. His class is easy (And doesnt require Homework).

I was not looking forward to this class since 8 years before I had only just past MAT-101 . On the first day of class all my aniexty was removed and I Knew I was going to learn and looked forward to. If you get Mr. Van Nice you will learn and it will be easier and more fun than any math class you've ever had before. Great all around guy.

Mr. Van Nice is just what his name says!! Genuinely good person. Very helpful. Also teaches high school so he teaches like we're in high school which is fine by me. Go to class... that is key!

Awesome teacher!! Always helpful, always available even in his off time. Answers any question clearly. Takes time with those that may be a little rusty in math. Tests are not a pushover but gives great reviews and looks for ways to give credit.

Mr. Vannice is such a wonderful teacher. He also teaches high school and still finds time to tutor practically every weekend. He will stay after class to answer questions but with his teacher style everything should be understood during classtime. I took him for 102 and 110 and I've never excelled at math before the way I was able to in his class, He is truly a dedicated teacher; he takes his own time to meet with students to help better prepare them for test. You must attend class and do the homework in order to pass, but he makes it as painless as possible.

WOW. this teacher is amazing. I can't believe how much i've learned. I'm HORRIBLE in math. Never made above a 75, never understood math, until now. He is the best teacher i've ever had in ANY subject. Takes time out of his weekends just to help students. He makes math so easy. His tests are hard, but he teaches so well that it's not too bad.

By far the best math instructor I have ever had. Anyone who didn't have him this semester made sure they had him for spring. Overall grade is a 99%, he takes his time making sure everyone in the class understands what is being taught. Also gives very helpful reviews before test. A+ teacher!

I took Math 110 with Mr. Van Nice and just couldn't pass up taking his class again for Math 111. He is very clear in teaching and makes sure that everyone feels comfortable with asking him questions and he really wants everyone to succeed. His tests are not easy per say but he makes sure you are prepared for them. You must do homework to succeed.

His instructional style is very clear and straightforward. He admits to sometimes making errors and is humble to correction. Mr Van Nice is the type of instructor I wish all math professors were modelled after. He gives you ample time for reviews. His lectures are crystal clear. He does not talk down to the sutdents and will admit when he makes an error. Do the homework and listen in class and you will do fine.

This Teacher is amazing!! He expalins everything to you and takes his time to make sure that everyone got what he's teaching. I love him!! I wish I could have him for all my courses! He doesn't use the book to much in class but does tell us to use it at home for extra pratice. I'm bad at math and I'm passing with an A!! I learned so much from him!!

Best math teacher I have ever had. Homework is online (about 3 sections per week--15 questions.)He goes over exactly what you need to know for tests, and will spend as much time as you need to understand material. He needs a pay raise for sure--best professor ever.

Amazing guy! I took him for MATH101 and MATH120. Attendance is not mandatory but he does give little nuggets of info that are helpful for upcoming tests. He will also figure in extra credit for you if you do faithfully attend class. He is always available for help and doesn't make you feel like you are bothering him. He was the best.

BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD!! He is an amazing teacher & will go the extra mile to help his students out in any way. Math has always been my worst subject but after taking his class I have hope to continue on the next level of math. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him. I really benefited from his one on one group activities in class. GET HIM!

Best math teacher ever! I failed this class twice and finally passed it! He tells you exactly whats going to be on the test, gives extra credit for just going to class and doing homework. He also uses the final to replace your lowest test grade. He does everything to make sure you pass as long as you do your part by studying and attending class.

Before each test, he hands out a review sheet so you will know whats going to be on the test.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this teacher.. Very nice guy, helps you whenever you need it, plus tutors if needed. Explains thongs very clear, slow down if needed. Just all around amazing.

I took a course years ago and was unaware of this site. That being said, I remember Kenneth. Kenneth, if you read these, you were one of the most competent and capable teachers of my college experience. God bless you for what you are doing for the world. Van Nice is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. I would definitely recommend him. His tests are not bad due to the fact that he gives great review sheets which he goes over the class before the test to let students know which problems to look out for. He's realistic, and understands students and their habits. He's an all around nice guy.

Mr. Van Nice is awesome, I took him for math 101 and 120 I have never been a fan of math ,actually terrified and never got above a C. when I took his class , he made everything so clear. He's helpful, funny &, understanding . Long story short nothing but A's on exams . test reviews are the actual test, on test day. :) I highly recommend Mr. V !!

Mr Van Nice is a real BLESSING. He treats students fairly, he'll be there for you if you'll need help, he'll give bonus questions on the tests. I mean he does everything for the students to have a successful semester. I would highly recommend him. I wish my other instructors would be like him. Instructors like him are rare in our days.

Mr. Van Nice is BY FAR the best math professor I've ever had. I struggle with any level math class however, because of his clear direction and teaching ability I carried a straight A through calculus. I make sure that I refer Mr. Van Nice to anyone that needs to take calculus, and I couldn't be faster to sign up for his calc II class.

Mr. Van Nice is one of the most clear-cut instructors for Calculus II. He is there for you if you need help with any units in Calculus II. Gives great reviews for upcoming test days. Do the homework, pay attention in lecture, and you should get an A in this challenging Calculus course.

Mr. Van Nice is an awesome instructor. Attend class and you will pass. It is Trigonometry so it will require effort on your part. He is extremely fair and awards bonus points based on the amount of homework you complete.

Great Math Professor. Would definitely recomment to anyone. Took Calculus 2 with him and he made it enjoyable, even though Calc 2 was my least favorite (material wise) out of all the Math classes ive taken (up to Differential Equations). Great teacher!

Mr. Van Nice is the best teacher I have ever had at trident tech! I have tried to take math with a couple of others and had to drop those. He provides extra detailed notes, encouraging speeches and gets right to the point of the lectures. He teaches the course clearly and answers all questions!

Mr. Van Nice is the coolest most laid back teacher i have had. he is also an amazing algebra teacher. If you absolutely suck at algebra look into his classes. he really knows how to break it down. He never makes someone feel dumb on unjust in their questions.

I had Prof Van Nice for inter. algebra and college algebra, he is a great teacher. Although I love math he made things easy to understand. I had him for maymester. He teaches old fashion so I didnt purchase the book for either class. He teaches his way and in a way you can understand and get it. If you have problems with math get him.

Prof VanNice rewrites the textbook, discarding the jargon that so easily confuses most of us. He speaks about each new concept in a math language everyone can understand. Hes a fair grader and provides all the tools you need on the first day to be successful. I truly can say he is THE BEST professor I have ever had throughout my education.

Kenneth Van-nice is a awesome instructor! By far the easiest math class I've taken. He is fair on all test, gives extra credit as well. He is very understanding if you don't understand certain material you go over in the class. He breaks it down "old school" and doesn't believe in showing you difficult ways to solve a math problem! I recommend him!

I will simply say that you CAN NOT go wrong with him as your math professor!! He is the kind of teacher that wants you to pass; if you have a question during a test; ask! If you need more help, ask! He always says, "The only difference between me and you, is that I have done this 30 years more. If I can do it, you can too."

I took this course already at another university but failed it due to lack of understanding, so I was really scared and doubting myself when I signed up to take it at another institution. But the first day of class gave me a lot of hope, and Mr Van Nice wants you to succeed, so I was always excited to attend class.

Before taking a class with Van Nice I thought no way he is a 5.0. Now I know why, this guy is a freaking unicorn! He is the best math teacher I have ever had. I took stats online and he was an awesome professor. Hes very clear on where your grade will come from. He offers weekly sessions to help with more direction. He allows full use of the calculator and his expectations are very reasonable

He is amazing. I got an A but I didn't think it was an easy A. He makes you want to learn. He knows the material can be difficult and he will work with you until you get it. It's impossible to fail his class unless you are just making no effort whatsoever.

I have had him for two separate math courses at TTC, and he has by far been my favorite professor. He is so caring and such a genuinely pure person and makes hard concepts easy. He is always there for help and has an old-school way of lecturing: just a marker and a whiteboard. It was alarming at first seeing no PowerPoints, but it works amazing.

Awesome prob and stats teacher. I had to go online this year and I've never had a more clear teacher. Math classes are really hit or miss but its all based on the teacher and he's great !

This teacher was absolutely phenomenal. I am terrible at math but he made the class feel incredibly easy. He has a clear love for his job and his students success, I could not recommend this professor more.
