Very smart man, but his lectures were so unclear. Not a good experience.
When I took him 60 kids were in the class, and only 6 passed! RED FLAG DONT TAKE
Very helpful with explaining situations and always willing to provide extra help
He is a nice teacher, but it was hard to understand the material that he covered
I liked him. He was easy to understand. Some people have problems with him.
He goes out of his way to help students learn the material.
very nice guy, always willing to help out if you need it.
very picky
Very anal, but a pretty nice guy.
great guy, bad teacher
His assignments and in class exercises are WAY easier than the tests, so don't get over confident. Study from the old tests and you should be fine. A programmable calculator is almost a requirement.
Seems shy at first, but is exremely helpful. Nice guy.
Very helpful. tests are easy. wonderful man!
I thought this class was really hard. The examples he does in class are a lot easier than are ever on the test. Make sure you get his old tests to look at to study. Good luck.
I think he was one of the hardest teachers I have ever had. I faided 115, and I was in pre-calc in high school. I re-took the class with a different prof. and got an A. He is willing to help outside of class. VERY smart. BAD teacher.
Awful professor! Is literally out to make things harder then what they need to be. I would recommend taking a different professor if at all possible.
He made his tests so hard. I studied for two weeks for the final and got a C. He makes it so much harder than it needs to be. You can know the material and still do bad.
He's crazy at times and he likes to ask you "is this ok?" He's helpful and gives you dark chocolate if you go to his office hours.
Dr. Sun is the best. He is extremely helpful and an all around great guy. Not only did he provide so much help during class, he also held extra study sessions when students needed them. I would gladly have Dr. Sun as my professor.
He's out to help you in every way until it comes time to write the test. Then he takes on an "Us against Them" mentality and pulls out every trick problem and mathematical special case in the book. He actually bragged "I got you" on
A very helpful professor when it comes to understanding the material IN CLASS. However the BIG problem with taking Sun's class is that you can know the notes and book problems inside and out, but the test and quiz problems are COMPLETELY on another level
He's very nice and approachable. He'll explain the material as much as you need. He tries to help you as much as possible. He has practice tests as well as Q & A sessions before the tests. The tests aren't hard if you do the homework.
He's a good teacher but you have to put in the effort to do well. He's very helpful and he doesn't go on with material until you understand the old.
VERY helpful guy, will go to any length to help you out. Extremely unclear though, teaches just like a math book. Plan on learning on your own. Has practice tests if you want, and extends office hours. Tests are REALLY difficult. I'd never take him again!
Worst teacher ever
Pretty nice guy, but had no clue how to expain anything. I had to teach myself the material. Makes the tests hard.
Hard material, goes kinda fast. But Dr. Sun is very helpful and approachable during office hours and he gives you chocolate. Says in the syllabus he doesn't do extra credit but he does a little. Has a soft grading scale, like 86 is an A-.
Very nice and helpful guy. Material is difficult and he goes extremely fast. Plan on staying after class most of the time also.
"if you're not a part of the solution, you must be part of the solute" his joke, not mine
Good guy but hard teacher. Flies through the material to fast, and gives really hard test. Good luck if you take him
Sucks, he is way to arrogant, tries to hard to be a butthead. Likes to embarrass people for no reason(and no, he never embarrased me) Hated going to class!
Worst prof. ever, does not know how to explain a thing or relate to the real world. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROF TO ANYONE!!!!
Good teacher and really nice but he doesn't start off with basic concepts--he gives ridiculously hard sample problems and makes test problems worth too many points..
THREE WORDS: Don't Take HIM! he goes too fast through the material and his tests don't make sense! he also gets a laugh when people don't do well on his tests. he also can't explain anything worth crab! the worst professor i have had in 7 semesters at FSU
sucks.
Dr. Sun is a very easy going guy. He goes plenty slow, especially if you are used to pre-pharm courses. He is a strict grader, but will occasionally give extra credit. He's wanted this chili for a long time =)
If you've taken any calculus, his class is easy. If not, he's very helpful and he keeps it pretty simple. He's very nice and a great guy.
He's a nice guy, but sometimes he seems to forget that the class doesn't know the material like he does. He tends to rush through material and often has trouble explaining things. The tests can be rough, but he's willing to help you out however he can
Ferris's Math department continues to suck again! Helpful guy to an extent, but makes you answer your own questions! Isn't that what we pay professors for---to answer OUR questions??? Exam was moderate. Makes math one of the subjects where you have to think outside the box and it shouldnt be this!!
well-intentioned nice guy, too bad I had to drop the class, because he couldn't explain the material clearly enough to me(only the easy problems), class was surprisingly interesting class for the time I remained
I absolutly love this teacher, I get a kick outta him, he's such a geek. But that's cool with me. I recommend this teacher to everyone. He is awesome!
Very helpful, nice, funny, rates up there with Mr. McCullough
not good, very unclear
nice guy, not a good teacher. he is very unclear in his explanations. even if you ask a question, he wont answer it, he'll just make you do more problems.
He is nice, and really tried to help, he just can't! He can't "teach down". He is very intellegent, but not a good teacher.
Wouldnt suggest if your someone who needs that little extra pat on the back as far as math goes. He a smart guy who just simply has a difficult time conveying ideas. He tries. He really does. Take him if you math is your thing.
I've never been good at math, butI took his course with an SLA and I am getting the highest grade in the class. He's so funny. Look, if you have EVER taken a higher math class in HS and know a little background, take him. I like his tests too.
NEVER TAKE THIS TEACHER!! He is HORRIBLE. He knows what he's talking about but doesn't know how to teach. Avoid this guy at all costs.
Do not take this teacher unless you have time to devote to this class. There is a lot of homework involved at least in the class I took. Overall I was satisfied with him as an instructor although he is not very clear in his explanations. He does slow down if the class needs it.
Very good teacher. i thought he helped me very well. Lets student work things out instead of him holding your hand the whole time. Good stuff.
Hes a funny guy. If you know a little statistics background, you should be ok in his class. Basically it comes down to doing homework and doing his practice exams. If you have questions, ask him and he'll clarify. His quizzes are harder than his exams.. since missing 1 problem is a C on his quizzes.
He definitely knows his stuff but does not know how to teach "down" to students. I have always had the best grade in all the math classes i have ever taken, but am struggling in this class. I was actually reprimanded for asking him questions in class!THe examples in the book and the notes are nothing like his impossible tests! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
He's a jerk. He seems nice at first, but stay around long enough and you'll see what I mean. If you ever get on his bad side, expect him to gloat every time you ask him for help. Plus he stutters and stands looking at the ceiling more than he teaches.
Tough class but an awsome professor...the class is a lot of work but not impossible, he gives you old exams that are very helpful
Nice guy..the class itself is hard...you have to study...he will help you with whatever you need and will put in the extra time to review and will clarify...
He is the biggest jerk you will ever meet, acts like he's your friend and wants you to learn but come the test time he screws you over and oh yeah don't expect a curve from him "Let's not curve and let them[the students]have a bad test" Doesn't have anything better to do than spend time in his office. three words for him "GET A LIFE"
He's a pretty funny guy (in a nerdy sort of way) who always want students to do well. This class IS hard, but as long as you understand all the problems on the packets that he gives you, you should do fine. The review sessions outside of class also help too. His only problem is that sometimes he explains things WAY too fast in lecture.
he thinks that everyone in this class should be stats majors BUT in reality we r all pre-pharm, pre-opt, biotech, etc. NOT clear on what will be on the test and gives 30 pages of study questions per test. Just make sure you leave a good 1st impression and u will survive
HAHAHAHA! Good luck!
I liked this professor. If you haven't taken calculus before you may want to avoid him, but I thought the overall course was fairly simple. He dedicates a lot of time to his students and will hold extra study sessions if the students need them. He's a nice guy.
He is a horrible professor. Will not help you out of class and does not prepare you well for his exams, which are exclusively "critical thinking" questions, which were not discussed in class...GOOD LUCK!!! you're gonna need it!
I really do not like this guy. He reads right from the textbook, so basically if you can't teach yourself, you're screwed. He's very picky. I did not like how he would put an example on the board, then stare at us, waiting for someone to say how to do it. He does this thing where he wags his finger at the board though, and that was funny.
Oh Dr. Sun. Way to smart to be teaching, expects you to do 2/3 of the work outside of the class. Gives overly easy examples... Lulls you into a false sense of security. I was stuck in this class mistakenly and had to withdrawl because it was the biggest pain of a class. Word on the street is, he's teaching half time and advising honors... EGAD!
It would be nice if the class was tested on problems and questions that are remotely similiar to what he teaches and is in the text that he uses. He is a worthless teacher that doesn't understand the concept of teaching and testing, you are supposed to test on materials covered not on trick questions or ones not covered in any materials given!!!!!!
Sun is not as horrible as these other ratings make him out to be (at least for statistics). True, you do have to put in a little effort. The problems he gives in class are easier than those on the tests, but he will give you old tests to study from and you can always use the book. I got an A- and put in minimal effort.
Every M,W,and F I wake up and dread going to this class.I have taken Calculus before (thank God) but he confuses me and I already know what I'm doing. As a person, he is a good guy, but as a teacher he sucks. He goes into too much detail, he's very picky, and he lacks logical explaination.I feel sorry for those who haven't taken Calc before.
weird guy. he's really nice but not a great teacher. go to his office, he will give you chocolate.
He's quite funny; he jumps up and down when he makes a point. He is very clear in lecture and goes over difficult points to make sure people know what's up. His tests go over exactly what he lectures over, and you have all his notes. Tests are very clear. I enjoyed going to his lectures, and I hated stats before this class.
Dr. Sun is a really nice person. He tries his best to tailor each course to the students in the class, however, he spends WAY too much time answering questions in class. He has to fly through the material and you don't get much out of lecture... Very smart guy though.
This was just an intro class, but he was a hoot. He's a ninja - don't let his appearance fool you. Very resourceful when it comes to figuing out honors requirments and finding the best plan for each student. Always gives out chocolate in his office hours. Very funny guy - I would love to take a real class with him.
A little odd sometimes but a really nice guy. Exams are all cumulative for this class. Make time to visit him in his office hours, he's really helpful.
Odd guy, easy class, doesn't know his math well enough to be teaching at the college level. You will get an A if you work hard but you are better off actually benefiting in the class by taking it with someone else. He teaches WAY TOO SLOWLY!
One of the worst teachers I have ever had. He just copies down proofs from the book and doesn't do examples. Dont take him
Where to start? Dr. Sun just copies stuff from the book and puts it on the board. He rarely uses applied examples, everything is theory based. The exams consist of the hardest problems from the book and do not reflex what he goes over. He is a terrible instructor. Do not take him.
Dr. Sun is absolutely horrible!! Do not take him for anything!! He spent time in class going over proofs for thms in the books. He refused to answer any of my questions in class and said that it was my responsibility to find my own answers. He rushed the last three sections before the final then picked the hardest problems. There isn't enough space
He is the worst teacher i have ever had.i would recomend transfering to a different school if u have to take him in any upper level math courses.he didnt test us over the material covered in class and he told us we needed to know how to derive everything even though as a teacher he couldnt do it himself without looking at the book AVOID if possible
I've taken more than 10 math classes at Ferris, and Kent Sun is BY FAR the worst teacher I've ever had. He makes even simple topics confusing; I learned better on my own than trying to learn from him. If possible, take someone else!!!
doesn't even know the material but we're expected to know it... good luck if you have questions on the homework, he'll tell you "just go try it again..."
WORST TEACHER EVER. He thinks it's funny for students to do do poorly and doesn't care at all if you learn or not.
Worst math prof at Ferris. Thinks it's funny for students to fail. Doesn't care at all about whether you learn or not, just wants to hurt your GPA. Take someone else!!!!!
Worst professor I've ever had. His only goal is for students to fail. I've gotten an A in every other math class I've taken (about 15 at Ferris) and I have a B- in this class even though I'm working my butt off... Take someone else!
I'm a math major and usually can figure out what's going on in any math class, but with this guy it's impossible. If you have to take him for higher level classes, transfer or change your major
Most unorganized teacher ever, never knows what hes doing. i doubt he prepares for lecture at all, and it takes FOREVER for him to grade. incredibly lazy.
Not a bad guy, but the only way he taught us was copying proofs out of the book, and refused to give examples unless they were straight from the book, then exams were all over stuff we didnt cover in class. If you have to take this guy, good luck!
I used to like math, but Dr. Sun makes me hate it! The material isn't that hard if you teach yourself, but he just makes everything so confusing! Not that bad of a person, but probably shouldn't be a teacher.
Kent Sun is the worst math prof at Ferris. He lacks the ability to teach at all, and barely knows statistics even though he has a PhD in it! He finds it amusing for the whole class to do poorly. If you value your GPA, take another professor if at all possible.
Horrible teacher. I am doing well in the class, but I've had to teach everything to myself. Sometimes I skip class because when I go he just makes me unsure about things I already know!
One of the WORST!!! Doesn't know how to teach. Take someone else
I didn't have Dr. Sun for math. I had him for my introduction to Honors course. If you're in Ferris Honors, TAKE DR. SUN! He discontinues class mid way through the semester. Events are mostly interesting. And his quizzes are rediculously easy. He is also a great advisor to have. Very helpful.
The material is somewhat difficult but Dr. Sun makes it understandable for the most part. Doesn't always answer questions the best but office hours are helpful. Review sessions before exams is also very helpful. He knows what he's talking about and is a good professor to take if you really want to learn.
Teaches very fast. Took this class after I already had it in high school, so it was pretty easy to follow along, but if your new to calculus he moves very fast and can get confusing. He is helpful and tries to be funny.
While Dr. Sun's class is tough, it is very fun to take. He is a clear lecturer and provides notes for you to fill in during lectures. His testsquizzes are difficult and require memorization of lots of formulas and are designed to be completed in a certain time limit. STUDY or you will not be able to pass. Attendance is mandatory.
Very unclear and treats us like elementary students
I had Dr. Sun for my honors 100 class and it was a very easy, laid back class. He is a very nice guy. I have heard from other students that have had him for actual math classes though that the classes are hard and he is a tough grader.
Professor Sun is one of the worst professors i've had. His tests are hard and he goes through the lectures very fast. I would recommend getting out of his class as soon as possible.
Do not choose a class with this professor. I repeat, do not that a class with this professor. He is very unclear with his lectures and tends to expect us to know the information already. The only time I see it acceptable to take one of his courses is it was the only class that fit your schedule or you are an above average math student.
Horrible teacher!!!!!! Doesn't explain the information well, assigns homework on a whim, unfair grader! The class is not that tough but DR. Sun will make it nearly impossible to pass with the trick quizzes and test and the way he grades them. Find another professor!! I only passed because I could teach myself.
Prepare to study your butt off. He says his tests are easy but they are far from it. I don't think many students passed the class. He will not drop a test even if everyone bombed it. There is no extra credit. If you have questions I suggest asking someone else; he practically told me to figure it out myself. He even insulted me and my intelligence.
He's got weak reviews because his class is hard. I just finished with a low b minus, it was hard. I respect him for that! He really takes grading beyond the math, you put an equal sign near two equations that are unequal in your work he will deduct, even if it's in your work and the answer is right. I like this it tewxhes students to be thorough.
Was told I wouldn't be able to achieve my goals and needed to redirect my career path due to my performance in his class. I retook this course with another professor, got an A. The true difference here is not the difficulty of the class/material but the character of the person. This professor lacks charisma, and motivational ability.
I took several courses with this professor. He is indeed a tough grader, but if you participate and show up ready to learn, getting at least a B is totally achievable.
He knows his stuff when it comes to mathematics. I think he explains things well and constantly asks us if we have any questions before moving to the next topic. There is a lot of homework and he is really strict about his grading style. His class is hard but I think he is a good Professor.
He explains things good and moves at a pace that I would say 70% of the class would say is good. If you are not the best, you hate it, and this is your last class in math then take someone else. However, if it is not he a great choice because he sets you up good for other classes, but he grades homework witch I personally do not like, but some do.
This class is manageable if you study. Most of the time, he starts with the hard examples and doesn't show you easier ones. You have to put time into it to really know what you're doing. He will answer any questions you have, and he holds an optional review session before each test. If you're not paying attention in class, he will call on you.
terrible! his doesnt teach! he uses his notes and makes mistakes but expects us to know everything when he doesnt even know what he doing without chekcing his math. he will do a problem and screw up and someoene will say something and he will reply" well you understand what i was getting at". NO I DONT THAT WHY YOUR SUPPOSED TO TEACHING ME!
Straightforward professor. Would take again if I needed more math.
I highly suggest avoiding this teacher at all costs. You WILL regret taking his class. Terrible at lecturing, makes you feel stupid for asking questions, quiz every single day in class and he only gives you 3-5 minutes to do each quiz, and he can not explain anything to save his life. Also Very judgemental towards his students.
mean! strict!
He gives you 9 exam throughout the semester. Gives you quizzes everyday. Rushes through lecture due to the fact of having to take the quizzes. Gets side tracked very easily. Doesn't go in depth in his lectures and just has you copy down the notes and expects you to teach yourself.
Dr. Sun has a good sense of humor and tries to keep the class light, and is very easy to get aloud of outside of class. I was sick for a day, so I set up a meeting with him-which he worked around my schedule for-to go over what I missed. You have quizzes just about every day, but they're worth very little points. Overall, a solid teacher. 9/10
Nothing stressed me out more than taking a class with Sun, I often left lectures feeling very confused. There are also daily quizzes that you only have two minutes to complete. Throughout the semester he also gives 9 exams. On some exams he'll mark you down for mistakes and some he won't. Literally the only reason I passed this class was tutoring.
Kent has to be one of the worst teachers I've had. Most of the time he has no idea what he is talking about but still holds his students to impossible standards, he marks you down on your homework for not doing things that weren't even in the directions, and treats his students like they are ignorant. I do NOT recommend taking a class with him.
I do not recommend taking a class with Dr. Sun. More than half of my class withdrew because it was so difficult. I had taken a calculus class before this one and that's the only reason I got a good grade. My test grades plummeted as soon as we got into material I hadn't done before. He's very confusing, even to someone who knew the material before.
Best of luck is the best words I have for this class. He intentionally give notes in class that are easy and PURPOSELY gives homework, bookwork and online, that is extremely difficult. Ontop of struggling every night, he grades on accuracy. On top of that, you have to have a 75% half way through the semester on your homework grade and before final.
Do not take Kent. I knew the test average was going to be low and yet he did nothing about it. Notes? Do not correlate with some homework problems. Tests? Too long to not finish in class. You need to get a 60% or higher on homework in about two months in, unless you need to withdraw from the class, even if you have an A in the class. Take Price.
I dropped out of my program because this man is that bad of a teacher.
Worst prof I've ever had. If it's your last semester and you have to take him for a math class, just take an extra semester and avoid him. Contradicts himself, auto-fails students with <60% on homework (hw is worth 6% of the final grade), and writes confusing tests. He's inconsiderate of your other classes, work schedule, and health. Terrible!
Avoid Kent Sun at all costs. He is honestly a terrible teacher. His expectations are impossibly high. I took a very similar class in high school with an awesome teacher and passed with an A. I struggled more than I ever have through Kent Sun's course because of his unrealistic standards for his students.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Do not take classes with this man. He will threaten your grade and actively try to fail you. He has no concern for how people do in the class. As he stated before last semester 50% of this class failed. He will not help you when you need it, and will belittle you when you ask for it! AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
Just don't. The first day of class he'll tell you that his passing rate is very low. I thought I would be ok as math is my favorite subject.. but no. You're not learning how to do the actual math here, he gets frustrated easy when there's too many questions because he goes so fast and doesn't make sense. uses a horrible textbook that hardly helps
I still got a good grade in this class, but it was no thanks to Dr. Sun. Basically had to teach the material to myself with the textbook, so it was a good thing I had a really strong background in math prior to this class. Good luck to you if you don't...
Possibly the worst professor Ive ever had. He flys through content, grades only about 25% of the homework you turn in and if you get those 25% wrong sorry you fail the entire homework. Exams are always too long and too hard, I remember one exam where there was a class average of 59%. I ended up dropping the class after that. Dont take Dr. Sun.
Kent Sun is easily the worst professor I have ever had and it's really not even close. There's no words in the English language vile enough to describe how awful he is. In all seriousness. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE HIM. You're wasting your time and money. Honestly felt like I wasn't supposed to pass the class. A 200 level class...
I took this professor for my last Math requirement. He is undoubtedly the worst professor I have EVER had. He warns you of how difficult he makes the class to pass. If you do not solve it in the way he sees fit, don't even bother, or think of any partial credit. I would not suggest taking this prof if you are not the strongest Math student.
Dr. Sun is probably the worst professor I have ever had. I do not recommend him in any way. He lied to me multiple times and he does not care for him students. I did not enjoy my time in his class and will never return.
He gives you homework every single day but in the end homework is only 9% of your grade. He only gives you like 10 minutes to take the quizzes. My class pleaded for more time and be just got pissed. If you say you dont understand a concept he explains it again in the exact same way only this time he yells it at you. Avoid him.
Do not take this class unless you're naturally gifted with math, have thick skin, a massive ego, hella time, and romanticize academic success. Dr. Sun is incredibly intelligent academically, but his biggest downfall is his extreme lack of emotional intelligence. This class will screw your GPA & your self confidence but he's funny sometimes
He lacks compassion for his students and goes very heavy in each lecture. If you do end up taking this class make sure you are already very good at math because he doesn't go slow and won't answer your questions in a way you will understand. There is a new section every day and if you don't finish it in class you have to teach it to yourself.
He has good intentions, but the ways he goes about explaining certain processes is very backwards. He likes to do the problem as if it was given to him at a job, and try to explain it after he had completed it. It is a very tough class and my friend who had already taken Trig but couldn't transfer credits, dropped the class.
Statistics is a hard class in general to take, and taking it with Dr. Sun was a difficult. That first exam is the easiest one and you need to do well to help your grade for the rest of the semester. The second exam is the hardest. Also, watch his videos before lecture so you know whats going on. He seems like a good person but is a hard teacher.
Dr. Sun is a very intelligent man, so much so that he should not be teaching undergraduate courses. My time in class consisted of a 50-minute lecture with poor examples and intro level problems. Homeworks were complex problems, often unsolvable by my peers. He laughed at me and other students when we answered questions wrong, it was embarrassing.
Dr. Sun uses note packets to follow along in lectures, but the examples used are intro level and homework or exam problems are much more complex. He sighs constantly as if he isn't interested in teaching and has laughed at me and my peers for incorrectly answering his questions. As someone who had a great appreciation for math, he made me hate it.
Dr. Sun's teaching method is very different. He does not stay consistent with the methods he teaches (often teaches it the hardest way possible). I know several people in different trig classes with different professors and they are learning it much better than my class is. Exams a very difficult and you often do not get to use a calculator.
Admitted it being hard to actually go in depth with teaching us concepts because he claimed it was "difficult for him to understand how as students we don't get the material". He probably kills 100 trees a semester with his note packets. His hw grading is so hard and the homework problems are so tough my tutor had a hard time helping. DO NOT TAKE.
Dr. Sun, although an incredibly intelligent human, is an extremely difficult professor for people not naturally gifted in math. He expects memorization of everything, and gives quizzes/exams with extremely tight time limits. He warns on the first day of class that most people do not pass his class, and you should listen.
If you have to take stats just do not take him. You will regret it thats all i have to say. His class is set up very bad and he does not know how to teach. Tests are cumulative and u barely get enough time to go through it.
Dr. Sun was a very difficult teacher because he has difficulty clearly explaining concepts and ideas. I stuggled to understand when he was teaching and he would sometimes go on rants that had no real v
Way more difficult than it needs to be. 1/10. Do not recommend.
He is terrible man. He does care to teach us.
Avoid this class at all costs. He will hand out packets for the class and go over the first couple examples which of course are the easiest, and make you figure the rest out. He also completely skips over important material and expects you to know it. If you ever ask for help he will tell you he doesn't understand why you don't get it.
Way too hard for an introductory trig class. Other students in the same class with a different professor were doing great. Sun's class however had over 75% of the class drop over the course of the semester that I took it from him. The pass rate of his class is very low. Be aware!
Professor Sun's class is tough, but using resources like the textbook and Unstuckstudy can help. Attend lectures, stay focused, and you might just pull through.
Was difficult to understand and wasn't very lenient with grades. Offered no curves even when most the class was scoring 50-60% on the quizzes which obviously demonstrates it was poorly
Lol I'm in my 4th year now but my freshman year, I took his trig class and when I tell you the first test I got a 48% on the test. The next two weeks was another test I studied my lil heart out and got a 18% never went back. EEverrrrrr
Incredibly strict and very rude. The first few days of classes he acts very nice and supportive but makes it known that most students fail/drop his course (take this seriously, he almost brags about it). Very hard for an introductory trigonometry course when it doesn't need to be. Avoid this professor if possible, save yourself the time and money.
- I was 1 minute late and he marked me absent. - Will assign 20 question homeworks and only grade 3 questions. - Not scared to humiliate students. - Has a huge thing against phones. Will rant about it every class. - Sensitive ego. - Worst prof I have ever had anywhere. Don't ever take this professor if you can help it.
Do not take him if you need to take trigonometry. When he does notes, he does not explain to you where he got certain letters or why they are there; he expects you to know what the material is, even though it is an introductory course. I suggest NOT taking his class at all.
