Keri is excellent. Clearly loves teaching and is very helpful. She assignes a lot of Homework but when it comes time to take her tests you don't even need to study because all the work you did along the way made you get it. I am definitly taking her for 2b and I recomend her to anyone. Just don't miss a quiz because you can't make it up at all.

During class she will go around to each person and make sure they are getting it. I amost always get out early from lab, so don't worry about being there a full 3 hrs. Keri is a really nice and sincere instructor. There was a ton of homework and tests were not easy. If you do her practice exams and keep on top of her homework assignments, you should be fine. Professor clemens is awesome. She is super helpful and fun to be taught by. Her lessons and examples bring light to some pretty confusing subjects and she has a bubbly personality which calms many Chemistry fears. If at all possible take a class with Clemens. One of the best teachers i have had at Sierra.

Barely any PowerPoints during lecture, lab was based off Burns' material but Keri made it comprehensible for the most part, and she is a very fair grader. Exams and lab exams are straightforward as are the quizzes. Keri is very nice, enthusiastic and always willing to help. I'd take a class with her any day without hesitation.

Good teacher. Her lectures were extremely clear, labs were a little long and could be frustrating but from what I heard they were the best in the college. She gives a LOT of homework but also give a lot of extra credit and is very open to help. Don't bother buying the textbook unless you want to do extra credit, I never touched the thing.

Keri was awesome. I was very nervous about the math portion. The first month is all algebra review which was good becaue I forgot all of it going into it. Walks you through every step of a problem. She would actually be a great math teacher! A LOT of homework. 1 group pres. and the labs were interesting. Study guide is exactly what is on test.

Keri is such a sweet, lovely lady. Her tests are pretty straightforward as long as you attend every lecture. Labs are long and boring, but it's chem and thus expected.

This is a HARD class but Kari LOVES the subject and gets really excited when teaching it. There is a TON of HW and the test are hard. You MUST go to ALL the labs and if you miss lecture even just 1 day you will be lost. Don't get behind and try to take this class solo if you can and you will get an A.

This is a very stressful & time consuming class no matter who teaches it, but I think Keri did a pretty good job. I do think she could have found a way to make the material & problem solving methods more organized, and it would have helped to have more formulas and such actually on her powerpoint slides instead of just practice problems.

It was hard for me to drop into this class, but by the end there were only 12 of us left in lab. Tough class but she is the best chem instructor at Sierra. Her lectures cover alot in a small amount of time, and you must understand it all since thats the majority of what you will be tested on.

Chemistry is tough. She makes class fun and prepares you well for tests. Prepare yourselves for many papers flying everywhere! u must be super organized. Definitely go to drop-in tutoring with julia on day 1 and all through semester. she understands clemens and prepares you for tests and I wouldn't have gotten the grade I have without her.

Chemistry is absolutely awesome with Keri. Spends lectures drilling tons of practice problems, and has a clear style of explaining things. The class itself is difficult, but she gives you everything you need to do well. Labs tend to be slightly ahead of the class, so reading/writing them well in advance helps. Keri is definitely one of the best Chemistry professors. 6 exams and 1 accumulative final. She will guide you through and tell you what's on the exams. She will give you a choice between hand-written homework, or doing it online with OWL. I definitely recommend using OWL since it'll walk you through the problems. Stay caught up on the information!

2nd semester taking Chem with Keri. She is by far one of the best professors at Sierra. Getting an A or B is very do-able. She answers emails ASAP and will look over your labs before you turn them in.

Keri is a wonderful teacher. She announces quizzes ahead of time. She provides practice tests online & they are basically identical to the actual tests. We were allowed a note card for the final. She does not round up your final grade but, is a fair grader. The group project is easy & so is the drug study.

keri, was very open and understanding, shes very nice and loves what she does which makes taking her class a lot easier. she is very clear on grading and lectures often. the best chem teacher i've taken!

Took her over the summer. Super sweet, and fair exams. Lecture packet has HW in it. I only had her in lab for 2 weeks (first and last), so can't say much about that. I had her for chem 1A and chem 1B. the best teacher ever. She is super sweet and helpful. You can go to her with Any of your questions. She have worksheets and PowerPoint that you have to buy but they are very helpful for taking notes and practice. Her lectures are very through and test are totally based on stuff we would cover in the lecture.

Hands down one of the best professors anywhere! Makes learning Chemistry fun and less intimidating. Very clear ppt, lots of homework, labs, little ec. Gives tons of practice and is constantly checking to see if you are doing it correct. Super hard class, exams are similar to what you do in class so there are no surprises on test day.

I took professor clemens in spring. Her tests were too hard and long for me. I was given extra time because i am a dsps student, even then i couldn't pass and finish her tests. I took P. Clemens for Chem 2A online for fall 2020, when you buy the lab manual and course packet that is required, all you do is watch the prerecorded lectures and take notes in the course packet. I never went to the zoom sessions but she is there if you need here, otherwise, it is chemistry, put the work in and she'll give you an A+, TAKE HER!!!!

Lots of work, studying, and about 1-2 hours of lecture a week, lots of labs, quizzes, and exams. Class isnt too hard as long as you spend time, just like an other chem class. Keri is such a caring professor. Grades all assignments RIGHT AWAY and responds within a few minutes or hours to all emails and helps me with EVERY email. I got an A as well.

Professor Clemens is a great professor. She gives a chance for extra credit from the textbook with every exam which is the only thing I used the textbook for. Her zooms are not mandatory but super helpful. When asking questions she tends to lead you to the answer rather than just giving it to you.

She was an amazing professor, any questions you had she would go through them with you, she only has one zoom class a week going over the lab that is either due that day or a week after, showing up isn't mandatory. Keri is a very good teacher. I took chemistry and she made the class very easy to understand and provided tons of assistance even though it was online. There is quite a bit of work but it's also kind of a tough subject. There was a textbook requirement but I never used it and got an A so it's not necessary. Her workbooks are required though.

She was fair, and didn't give a heavy workload. She explained things well and has a positive energy. She was very helpful when I got sick and had to miss classes. I failed last time I took this class with a different professor, but she made chemistry seem easy to me. Just show up and do the work.

Probably the best Professor I have had at Sierra. There is extra credit for every chapter. Chemistry is going to be work so be prepared to show up to every class and do homework every week but she actually teaches the material. She is a quick grader, really recommend

Keri is THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Keri is sweet and funny! The class is not easy, if you want an A you have to work hard! You can always contact Keri after class! In Chem 2A we had 10 quizzes, 5 exams, and a final. She offers extra credit. Book is required for EC. There are no make-ups for labs or quizzes. There is an all-semester drug project.

Professor Keri was very nice and understanding. She was accessible outside of class and responded to emails very quickly when it came to any questions you had. She moves quickly through the lectures so if you miss one day you will fall behind. She does give out extra credit when she sees your falling behind, so if I were you I would take advantage.

This is BY FAR the best teacher I have taken at Sierra when it comes to these difficult 5 credit courses. She goes around each lab period and grades homework (that you get FULL credit for just completing) and then gives GREAT feedback. Just show up and put in the work & you'll get the scores you deserve. Totally changed my mind about chemistry!

Keri is a wonderful professor who truly cares about her students. She gives amazing feedback when needed and is very approachable. She usually grades quickly and will help accommodate when needed. Her class is very organized as well. I did well in her class do to her teaching style. I honestly loved her class so much, wish I could take it again.

I had professor Clemens for Chem 2B and I wish I could have her as my professor for more classes! She is awesome. She is super helpful and wants her students to succeed. She is also super friendly and takes the time to get to know her students. Definitely take her class if possible.

Chem 2B is an extremely difficult subject, but Keri wants you to succeed! She's super engaging and cares so much about all of her students. She gives you tons of feedback. She's always willing to help to get you where you need to be. There's one project towards the end of the semester, you write a paper and give an oral presentation with a partner.

Keri is the best professor for students that are eager to learn chemistry. She is not easy, but she is very nice and will support you the whole way. She is not very lenient when missing any class time, and there is a lot of work to be done, but you WILL know chemistry very well by the end of her class. Take CHEM1X, and please get to know her!!

Highly recommend Keri for Chem1A! She is very caring, always willing to help, responsive, and knowledgeable about chemistry. 1A is a difficult course with a lot of material, so exams can be tough. Quizzes, lecture pack, practice worksheets, and practice exams have identical problems to the exam, stay on top of work and you'll succeed in the class.

Take another class if you're not going into STEM!! General Chemistry 1A is an extremely difficult subject but Keri is very understanding and knows her stuff. Although she is very sweet, I wish I knew how fast-paced and hard this course would be, even with prior high school Chem knowledge... Wish she taught 3A/3B, it would've been perfectly paced!

I was super scared to take chem since I never had before but Keri made things super simple, broke everything down into ways that I could understand. There were multiple extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. At least once a month and always one before a test. She also makes sure to scan everything and give feedback. She made chem easy.

Keri was an amazing professor for chem 1A. The class was very tough, but she made it better with her amazing feedback and help. She will go around the class everyday and made sure everyone knows what is going on, and if you are still confused she always encourages you to go to her office hours or tutoring available on Fridays.

I was fortunate enough to take Keri's class for Chem 2A and 2B at Sierra College. The courses aren't easy but she provides all the information, tools, and help you need to succeed. Keri is definitely quite strict and nitpicky with labs and the problem solving methods that you use, and I would recommend taking the chem 1x class with her as well if you regularly require additional help. Her tests pretty much follow the format of the practice tests that she provides, as long as you do those, you should be prepared for tests.

Keri is such a queen and the only reason I got an A in chem .I always went to her office hours to get one on one help and she really broke down the problems into steps and helps explain them. chem 1a is a 6 credit course at sierra, and the class moves extremely quickly, especially at the beginning, but once it over 2 month mark it does pace down a little imo, Keri is a good teacher, she gives you all resources you need to succeed in class, you just have to put in a lot of work, she grades fairly and gives as much credit as she can.
