He was a great teacher. He was very clear with his teachings. One thing he used was a power point presentation along with the book and the board. It helped make things clearer He understand that most of us are working parents so in conjuction with the book he uses MathXL very vaulable tool for this class Very helpful and promt with grading & emails

Kerim is a very conscientious teacher whose goal is to get his students through his classes successfully. Be prepared to interact as he likes to chat with his students and tends to keep a very upbeat classroom. However he does take teaching you seriously and through his desire for you to learn might come off in as a bit brash, but he is good.

He will explain each solution step by step. He makes problem solving not about being right or wrong, but about learning the techniques and then applying it. Awesome!

Mr. Odqan is very willing to help students who seek it. He comes early to class about 30 minutes and will even stay late. One of the best teachers I've had throughout my college years. He also gave the class options on how to be tested/quizzed. It was nice have multiple small quizzes instead of a few big stressful test.

Simple class, show up for lecture, do some examples from the textbook while in class, and do the online HW before it's due. There are NO offline HW, which is great. He can be intimidating at times, but not on purpose. Can be funny as well.

Take this class if you don't have a problem with accents. Overall good teacher. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Do all the homework on time, you won't be able to turn it in late. He can be kind of loud, but he's a nice guy. He has a lot of office hours, so ask to meet with him to explain something if you're struggling.

One of the best professors I have ever had. His method of teaching math is ideal. He teaches the concepts, make us solve problems in class, then go over each one of those problems. Professor Odqan has an accent, but easily understandable! He offers many extra credit chances, especially if you attend all lectures. For college algebra we had one homework due per week, 2 lectures per week, and a test every unit. Final exam was NOT comprehensive. Definitely recommend!

Initially, I left a bad review for Prof. Odqan. A few more weeks in his class, and I changed my mind. He does come across a bit harsh at first. However, I can tell he genuinely wants to do well by students and is trying his best to be accommodating. The workload is easy, and exams aren't too stressful. Prof Kerim is my only math teacher that took extra time to do the exercises of every chapter before giving us HomeWorks. He has a different sense of humor that could be easily misunderstood.
