This professor, despite the class size, captivates your attention through his humor. He was awarded as one of the six best professors in LSU. His tests are fair, not to mention extra credit opportunities sprinkled throughout the semester. (You have three tests). Go to the lectures and review sessions-- no need to buy the note packets. No problem
He makes the material as ineteresting as possible. He's quite a character. Buy the notes packet. The test bank is in the back. He takes those exact questions word for word. If you memorize all the questions and answers, you'll end up with a 100+ in the class. I had a 102.
by far the best teacher ive had. easy material and easy tests. stories in class were so funny i'd be crying sometimes. definitely a good elective class if you're not a business major, but only take it with sauley! easy A with a decent amount of effort and by doing the extra credit. many test questions/answers given in class, and he gives not packet
The absolute best instructor at LSU.
Kerry Shawn Sauley is a beatiful man in every way. He is the best humanity has to offer. His class was wonderful and I learned a great deal. He is a master communicator. I took his opinion more seriously because he is wealthy and that is important in life.
Greatest man alive!!!
One of the best professors I've ever had. Not only because he made the class easy, but the classes were actually fun and very interesting. He actually made me want to go to class to listen to him.
Fun class and makes material easy to remember.
this guy is awesome, he actually makes MANAGEMENT interesting and is funny as hell. "specialized jobs" impression LOL. go early so u can listen to his music collection, totally bad ass. u rock kerry.
interesting teacher and gives bonus opportunities.
Kerry is unbelievable. This man is without a doubt the best LSU has to offer. I have never had such a captivating professor who made me thoroughly enjoy and look forward to classtime. I've taken two courses taught by him and have been upset when they were completed. Truly an asset to the university. The Man, the myth, the legend - Kerry Saule
this class is super, super, super... take it with kerry. he's the man.
This man is the Dragon Warrior. Sauley is the Prince of Peace, and the Ambassador of Brilliance.
I loved this class after reading the reviews on here! I recommend taking this class no matter what your major is b/c he makes it interesting and you actually want to go to class! No homework, puts class notes on Moodle. He also has extra credit opportunities and review sessions before the test. COOLEST TEACHER EVER :)
Great professor! Makes the material interesting. All of his notes are online, so you don't actually have to go to class to pass, but I went for the entertainment. Stories and examples really make the material stick.
Loved him!!! Very entertaining I couldn't wait to go to class! Easy class to take
HE'S A TEACHER NOT AN INSTRUCTOR. YOU WILL LEARN FROM THIS LEADER WITH EASE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
TAKE KERRY! You can't NOT enjoy this professor. He truly cares about his students and tries to make lectures entertaining and pertinent. He even flats out tells you test questions. He tells you what's on the exam bc he doesn't want you to waste time studying useless materials. It's really hard to not do well in this class.
Took material that other teachers try to make difficult, and made it EXTREMELY understandable. One of the nicest teachers at LSU, and cares about his students as much if not more than anybody I've ever had.
I loved Kerry Sauley's class! The reason his class is easy is because he is an amazing teacher...he was BORN to teach! He knows exactly how to get the information across, without boring the daylights out of his students. You will cover a good bit of information, but it will not feel that way. Take any class he teaches!
GREAT TEACHER! This class is not boring at all, and he truly loves teaching. You don't use the book at all, and I did not find it necessary to go to class. However, he gives a lot of sample test questions in class. If you fill out the entire study guide on moodle, that is all you need to study for the test. Defiantly the teacher for mgt 3200.
Great teacher with much enthusiasm to keep you interested. A must take class if you need a MGT course.
If you go to class, you'll get an A.
Awesome teacher, highly recommend this class to anyone. Kerry's the man.
Kerry Is The Man... Sit in the front 2 rows and you will not regret it.
He is Hilarious and keeps it interesting if you don't get at least a B you're not very smart
Take him
Kerry is awesome! Definitely one of my favorite professors at LSU. He makes the fun interesting and will definitely get you to laugh. There are 3 tests including the final and that's it. Don't underestimate him from his personality, you do need to know the material. He curves and also gives out a lot of bonus points. I would recommend taking him!
Literally the best professor I have ever had at LSU. He cares so much about his class and his students. Management could be a boring subject, but he uses real world examples and humor to get his point across. TAKE. HIM. You will not regret it! Pure awesomeness!
Kerry was one of the best professors I have taken at LSU. He loves what he does and it is clear in his teachings. You will not regret taking him! STUDY for the tests though, don't take them lightly. If you know the class notes for the tests you'll do just fine in the class!
I did not attend class too often. Grades are based on 3 exams, and a ton of bonus opportunities. However, you have to attend class for some and go to the research hub for others. I did really bad on the last 2 exams, which is why I received a D. I wouldn't call his class easy, but he is funny and cool. Take him and attend class and you'll do well.
Sauley is awesome. The class is not hard at all, but tests can be tricky. As long as you do the homeworks (which are extremely easy) and study a day or two before the test you will get an A. Take Sauley
Easily my favorite teacher at LSU. As long as you listen, take notes and read the info he gives you, you can pass this class easily. He curves every test! He is one of those teachers where you know they care about your future, even though it is a big class. I'll be looking to take his other classes in the future.
He is the perfect instructor. He teaches you the material focuses on what's coming in the exam. The review sessions are exactly what the exam is.
As all of the other students have noted - he is an awesome lecturer. He TEACHES the material so that you understand it. Very good at explaining the material and very enthusiastic about what he does. As he said, he was born to teach. Many extra credit opportunities, homework, easy to get an A. That is one funny dude too who loves his rock n' roll!!!
Best teacher I have taken at LSU. If I end up with a B in this class it's because of missing too many classes. He was a Great teacher if you put in the effort and are relatively smart you should at least get a B.
Dr. Sauley was awesome. I didn't do so well in class because I just have a hard time with learning material. His test can be confusing but he will help you out.
Sauley is a great professor!
Huge mistake if you choose another professor. He is awesome.
Kerry Sauley is simply the best professor at LSU. That's no exaggeration. His lectures are entertaining but more importantly, relevant. He gives you examples and somehow in a class of hundreds of students, doesn't make you feel like a number. You must go to class to get a good grade but you wont want to miss this one.
Best teacher I've ever had. Going to class isn't necessary (notes are posted on moodle) but I go because I love his class and the way he teaches and engages students. If you do the homework (easy) and go to the review sessions before the exams (also give yourself a day or two to study) you will make an A.
He keeps lectures super interesting with his personality and the way he teaches the info. Review sessions before the test are a saving grace, I didn't go to the first but went to the second, it increased my grade by 15 points. He gives bonus questions in each test plus additional extra credit options. If you have to take this class def go with him!
Definitely one of the most genuinely kind and entertaining professors I've ever had at LSU. He keeps his lectures very interesting with his great personality and is clearly passionate about the material. However, don't underestimate his tests. They are pretty wordy. I found it kind of hard to grasp the material. The review sessions are a must!
Straight up the best professor you can have. He cares how well you do and will do absolutely everything possible to help you succeed in this class. Attendance isn't mandatory but you'll actually want to attend. He's funny, gives life-like examples, and keeps you engaged. Possible bonus points throughout the semester. Review sessions are a blessing
Still a pretty hard class.
Kerry (as he prefers to be called by students) is an AMAZING professor. He has the heart of a teacher, plus the communication skills to make you want to listen. His notes are great, his lectures are entertaining, and his review sessions are super helpful to help you ace the exam. What more can I say!?
Kerry Sauley is known around campus as The Great One for a reason. Super helpful, friendly, engaging, hilarious, and very smart. One of my favorite classes at LSU!
This class isn't rocket science but don't let other reviews fool you. He's a great guy and a good teacher but those tests aren't as easy as you are led to believe. You have to work for an A in this class because 90% of the material is from his notes online and the rest is from the text, which you shouldn't bother reading. Just go by the objectives.
Awesome teacher. Do not need to go to class, holds review sessions before the tests and goes over everything on the test. With that being said, you won't regret going to class. He truly is hilarious
Lectures are nice but go to the reviews! Great teacher and helps you a lot. you must study for the test though! only 3 tests.
Sauley is a great professor and makes class worth going to! His exam reviews cover everything that will be on the test. His tests are tricky because you genuinely have to know the material, not just memorize. Took this class thinking it was an easy A, but it is an easy B or B-. Have to work for the grade.
Kerry's personality and passion is straight-up inspiring. Lectures are amazing; once you take this class, you're going to wish he lectured all your classes. HW is an easy 100. But beware, his tests can be tricky. He has review sessions for them that are a godsend. Tons of chances for extra credit. And remember, as always... don't ya go changing...
Kerry is AMAZING. Lectures are great. His tests are easy if you go to class and attend his review sessions. The reviews are so comprehensive that attendance isn't always necessary. He's genuinely a very nice guy. Material is pretty interesting, and he uses good metaphors and euphemisms to help you remember it. You will enjoy him and his class.
You will do much better in the class if you just sit back, listen, and pay attention, rather then taking notes. Think about what hes saying, and when your taking the test you will remember him explaining it. Memorizing notes are a waste of time just listen to him and you will make the A. Cool guy. Smart.
One of my favorite teachers of all time and he carries that reputation throughout LSU. The guy is hilarious. I enjoyed going to class even though the material is somewhat boring. The tests are tough, but he gives you plenty of bonus opportunities to make up for the tests. I would not call this an easy A, more like an easy B if you don't study alot
Kerry is the man. Blasts classic rock before class. Enjoys what he does. Very passionate about what he does. Very good at what he does. Cracks jokes during class. Gives a few simple homework assignments. Gives a good bit of bonus. Tests are pretty tricky so know the material. He will curve and round up your grade if need be.
My best test grade was an 87 & somehow i still ended up with an A- so i think he definitely rounds at the end or something. Tests are kind of tough and the average was usually only a 74-76 so the bonus opportunity is a life savor. The subject matter isn't that interesting for non-business majors, but he's hilarious so it's worth it.
He's an awesome guy and the material isn't rocket science but DO NOT let these rave reviews fool you. This is not an easy A. His tests can be tricky. Don't skip class because it helps with learning the information. Don't depend on the textbook; most of the test is based on his online notes. There are test banks floating around for the final too.
Pauley was an awesome teacher. He was really entertaining and really passionate about management. Not an easy class at all. Must know what your doing. Gives PLENTY Bonus opp. and if you miss a homework or 2 he will open it back up at the end of the semester. I didn't do so hot on tests but still managed to get a B in the class. Take him!
He's an amazing professor, all notes are on moodle but go to class to understand it. he makes it interesting. Exam reviews before each. Go to them and study exam outline to pass. Learn-smart hw is easy pts if you do it. Loads of bonus opportunities. Test are straight froward but you have to study also old exams are on koofers for practice.
One of the best teachers at LSU. He is super passionate about what he does, his lectures are interesting and entertaining so its not hard to pay attention. He puts all of the notes on moodle but going to class is really key to understanding the material. The test are NOT easy so study, but he does study reviews before every test. TAKE HIMMM
AMESOME! Sauley keeps your attention and keeps you laughing during lectures. Explains things very well. Three tests all with curves and extra credit questions. Little homework. Holds two reviews before each test where he goes over every thing in his lectures. Also gives extra credit opportunities outside of the test. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Kerry is THE BEST! He gives a ton of extra credit to help you since all of your grade comes from three tests. His tests aren't bad if you go to class and just listen. He has review sessions before every test that cover everything on the tests. Kerry is absolutely hilarious and makes his lectures fun to go to. I'd take him every semeser if I could.
Probably the best prof I've had at LSU. Great lecturer with an abundant amount of material to follow along. Attendance isn't mandatory, but show up because you can learn a lot from him. The extra credit can also give you grades some cushioning. If you put forth a solid effort, you should be bound for an A.
Attend lectures. Record the review because it IS the exam. do the homework. You got an A+.
Kerry Sauley (aka "The Great One") is the most enthusiastic, gifted professor at LSU. Not only is his enthusiasm a great quality, but he also is extremely gifted as a teacher, and presents the material in a manner that allows you to perform at your best potential on exams. The man is gifted. Exams are not bad. Also offers a large bonus- use it.
Kerry is the best teacher on campus, by far!! Absolutely hilarious and you can tell he cares about the material he's teaching. Go to the review sessions before the test and take notes and you'll be fine. He makes class interesting and is absolutely fantastic!
Professor Sauley is one of the best professor LSU has to offer. Granted the material was kinda tricky. He has a true gift at giving lectures and truly cares for students. He also curves each test and curved final grades.
He is super funny and really keeps you entertained in class. I absolutely love him as a person, but his tests are impossible. All of his tests are application based so memorizing will not help you. If it wasn't for the extra credit, which he gives a lot of, I wouldn't have passed.
You never have to go to class, but always go to the test review. First test is the hardest. The tests are very much application and a little tricky. Make sure to read the questions carefully and understand the material rather than thinking you can memorize and regurgitate. Start doing the extra credit stuff ASAP because it will save you.
Great professor that cares about what he's doing and his students. Tricky material but he gives entertaining lectures. Go to the exam reviews and take advantage of all of the extra credit. His tests are mainly application so make sure to know to know the material. He's one of my favorite professors at LSU!
Absolutely loved Kerry! Amazing lectures and such a fun class. GO TO THE REVIEWS! I never missed class but bombed the first two exams because I didn't go to the exam reviews. I still ended up with an A though due to the LOADS of extra credit and the final. Take Kerry, he's the best.
Hands down the greatest professor LSU has to offer. Test material is straight from lectures and questions at the beginning of class ARE test questions. He gives 3 tests. If you go to the study sessions (and actually study the material) you should not get below a 100% on the test. Of the three tests, the lowest score I got was a 104%.
As I'm writing this 74 people reviewed him and he has a 100% would take again rating. If you're still reading comments questioning weather or not to take him, stop, and go sign up for his class. Hands down the best professor at LSU. He is funny, caring, and wants you to succeed in his class!!!
Probably one of the best professors that I will ever have. I recommend him to everyone that I know. DEFINITELY go to class, it will make your life so much easier.
GOAT. Attendance isn't mandatory but I don't want to miss because he is a great lecturer. He genuinely loves his job and wants everyone to love it too. Don't underestimate his tests though.
He gives amazing lectures. Really cares about the students. The tests can be a little tricky because they're conceptual but if you just go to the reviews and study the review questions you'll do fine. TAKE HIM!!
Hands down funniest teacher I've had and extremely personable. Makes class very enjoyable, but you he posts all lectures and notes online so you only have to show up on test days. Offers random in-class extra credit opportunities (announces when they will be in advance) as well as out of class extra credit opportunities. Definitely the cool uncle!
Sauley is by far one of my favorite profs at LSU so far, though the material isn't as easy as you would expect, I NEVER attended class and ended with an A simply by going to his review sessions he holds (on his own time!!!) for each test. Also make sure you earn every extra credit opportunity you can so you can have some cushion! 10/10 recommend!!
Good professor, material is hard, offer a lot as Extra credit but only allow up to 16 Extra credit. On line question available but in exam find many functional question.
failed his first test without even realizing 90% of those questions are derived from the questions he goes over in class. he is an AMAZING teacher and always puts his students' education first. classes aren't even mandatory, go to his office hours and he will sit with you and review until it is stuck in your head. passed the class with an A
Kerry is a great teacher! His class is interesting, and most of the material of the tests will come straight from lectures. He provides guided study questions and notes for you to go over, which definitely help but you still need to go to class; he'll also give you extra credit questions in class, and goes over sample exam questions. TONS of E.C!!!
Sauley is every student's dream professor. Knows his stuff, makes class super interesting, and does everything in his power to make sure his students do well! Sit in the front and interact with him, and you will get the most out of this class. Genuinely cares about students, and is an all around great guy. I wish I could take him for every class!
Best professors I have ever had. Makes the class super interesting and really fun to attend. Some of the questions on the exam are tricky, but if you go to the lectures and the exam reviews, should be an easy A. Gives tons of extra credit and curves every test. Wish he taught more classes so I can take them with him
Kerry Sauley is a real character, he's funny, makes the class easy, but his tests are hard. He gives 15 final extra points to your final grade if you do the extra credit. So if you finish the class with a 60, you'll wind up with a 75 if you do the extra credit. You don't even do the extra credit either, you just send a survey link to 2 people.
Top three favorite Professors at LSU. I would take again in a heart beat. Actually cares unlike the other 99% of professors.
Dr. Sauley is an amazing professor. I started off not grasping the material and he helped me one on one. He cares about his students and wants you to understand the material. He's one of the best professors I've ever had!
Kerry is a fantastic professor. Who loves you? He does! The material itself is not easy to grasp, but he does his best to get you to understand it. 3 tests, a little HW, and he gives a LOT of extra credit opportunities. Most of the test questions are from slides he shows in class. Prof daddy is the best, by far my favorite teacher so far at LSU.
Kerry Sauley is by far the best professor I have had at LSU! Lectures are not mandatory, but he is so great that you WANT to go to class. Tests are easy and had big curves. He has homework and lots of extra credit. He almost makes me want to change my major to Management. Prof Daddy is the BEST!
just take him. he made going to class fun & told u what was on the test. he gives soooo many bonus opportunities and has a review session where he literally goes over the test. his class is easy to understand in general, but he goes above and beyond to make sure you've got it. amazing and i love him. test days are fun hahha
Kerry is an AMAZING teacher. He absolutely loves what he does, cares about his students and tries to make class as entertaining as possible. Definitely go to the reviews and look over the material before the test because it's all application question. Also, the book isn't necessary in my opinion. TAKE HIM!!!!
Kerry lives up to his reputation. He truly cares about his students and his lectures are amazing and he has such a good personality. I looked forward to going to class. He extends hw if he sees not a lot of people did it. & he gives lots of bonus opportunities. You can tell how passionate he is about what he teaches. Ive never met a prof like him.
Kerry's class isn't an "Easy A", but A's are definitely achievable. He cares about his students, and his lectures are both beneficial and entertaining. Classes aren't mandatory, but I feel like I did better by attending class. He's great! I truly recommend.
He tells us to call him Kerry because he wants to "relate to his people!" This man is AMAZING--and I'm not just putting that lightly! He made me want to attend each lecture because he is so comical. Gives exam reviews that are pretty much verbatim to the exam content. Also, he gives you the opportunity for 15 bonus points! Want an A+? Take Kerry!!!
Kerry is my favorite teacher at LSU. He is funny most of the time, and when he is not he say's"tough crowd" and that always gets a laugh. The homework is easy (only worth 10%) and he will extend dates if you miss a homework. I could never make the evening reviews for tests so we met in his office and reviewed. Great guy, Great teacher!
Kerry is THE man! His lectures were the best, and he made it worthwhile going. He always said "this is a test question/extra credit" on your exam, so know it. Exam reviews every test that ALWAYS were helpful. Going to class and paying attention makes the class easy. He always keeps you laughing. Plays rock music before class & DONT YOU GO CHANGING!
Professor Sauley is AWESOME!! This was the only class I looked forward to going to, but you can still pass easily without going. Gives a TON of bonus... so do it! Tests are not as easy as you would think. Very conceptual based and can trip you up. Bombed the first two tests but bonus gave me a safety blanket.
Textbook not really needed as long as you purchase the online version. Homework not long or difficult at all, just 1 assignment per chapter. Tests could be challenging but review sessions are provided by him the week of the test. Offers TONS of ways to earn extra credit throughout the semester. Put the effort in and you'll do fine.
Lectures are never boring & loves laughing at his own jokes. Always has a big review before an exam (definitely go!) which helps a lot. Exams are a little tough since they are comprehension questions. Always extends HW when he sees that a lot of people missed it. Definitely recommend!!
Exams are a little tough but if you listen to lectures you should do fine. He gives multiple bonus opportunities to help you out and hes Hilarious and makes class enjoyable.
Good lectures, beware a lot of questions for bonus points are stories he tells in class so if you want bonus points go to class.
to all non-business majors - do not take this class if you want an easy A. I worked by butt off studying and got a B-. He's a cool guy but I wasn't phased by his "look at me" teaching style so it was super hard for me to pay attention. tests are tricky. DO ALL THE BONUS!
Plenty extra credit. I didn't go to class all semester and got an A. GO TO THE REVIEWS, they ARE the test. I hated his personality but it didn't matter because he made it very easy to pass. I did not purchase the textbook, just did all the years homework as soon as I was added to the class. Mind-numbing but saved money big time.
Sauley is an awesome guy! His tests are pretty tricky but if you prepare and GO to the reviews they aren't too bad. He also gives up to 15 points of bonus throughout the semester (5% grade increase) which is very helpful. Class is not mandatory, but he is pretty entertaining and really loves his job! Can't wait to take the next Management with him!
Professor Sauley is hilarious. One of my favorite classes to attend, even though attendance was not mandatory. Tests are tough, go to the review sessions if you can.
really funny and tells you exactly what you need to know for the test. gives you study guides and does test reviews. doesn't take attendance and gives you the exact day you need to be in class for extra credit. tests are a little difficult and you should go to lecture to better understand the information.
Kerry is great. You can tell he loves the class, and enjoys teaching. Go to class on cold or rainy days because he gives extra credit on those days. Find someone with a test bank and the tests are not bad.
One of the most caring professors ever. Helps students who are having trouble. Gives a ton of extra credit. Tests are kinda tricky but if you go to the review sessions they are fine. Great professor
Kerry offers so much extra credit and he curved every exam at least 10 points, so its almost impossible to do bad. Lectures are entertaining, but you really just need to attend his exam reviews and study those questions to do well. He is hilarious and wants everyone to do well. And he has catch phrases.
Kerry is a great guy and professor. His lectures are short. If you go to the lectures, you will get the gist of what you will study for the tests. The first test is pretty easy, the second test seems very easy and you will think that you made a %100 and end up with a 48. The final is absolute pie. There are not that many people at LSU like Kerry
tests are very hard but he's a great teacher and makes class fun.
His class is very hard. I would not take it again. The test are very hard. You only have 3 total. The class is extremely cool though, I recommend not skipping although its very easy to.
Attendance isn't mandatory but I definitely recommend going. The information can be complex and his exams are application-based. You must understand the material to do well on the exams. Sauley is a great professor and super funny. He really wants you to succeed and he makes it easy to understand the material.
honestly if you show up, sit in the 1st two rows, and participate you at least get an C. if you do the above and actually study and talk to him, you'll get an B or higher. he has homework and 3 test. he gives bonus points. what you put in is what you get out of it. the class is not hard, he is very helpful and understanding.
He really is a great man and really is hilarious, but you have to work for that grade. He gives homework and bonus points to help out your grade, but those 3 exams are pretty tough. Those lecture notes are wild, but he really is great and is worth taking. Sit in the front rows and interact with him. That is your best bet to success.
He is nice, but that's it. Acts like he will be a teacher that is easy and that's not true. You have to work so hard to get a good grade in this class, but he acts like if you show up you'll pass with flying colors (not true). Test reviews don't help. Don't get why he is rated so high because his class sucks!
Prof daddy is one of the best professors I have had at lsu. He is very understanding and wants all of his students to succeed. I bombed the first test and still managed to pull off an A. Make sure to do all the extra credit he offers and the homework.
Kerry was the best prof I've had. He was so caring and genuinely wanted you to pass his class. He gave us so many bonus opportunities. He truly cares about his students. Take his class!!!
All around great guy. Really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. Gives a ton of extra credit. take advantage of it because tests are a little hard. take this class great teacher
He is the best choice for this class. He is so energetic and actually makes learning enjoyable. I came into the class with the mindset that management was really just basic stuff but he teaches all sorts of methods and theories that are interesting. He gives a really good amount of bonus opportunities and his test reviews are key to doing well.
he's hilarious. the tests are difficult but overall professor daddy is a 10/10 would recommend!!! ily
He's awesome. Just show up and do your work, it's not that hard, and he will be there to help you out. He's a great dude and wants you to succeed. You passing, succeeding, and having a positive experience is his #1 priority. Unlike most of these teachers. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!
not as easy of a class as everyone makes it out to be but kerry is a saint
okay i took this online as many classes are and it's not as easy as people make it out to be. really not fun. TESTS ARE SO HARD. like expect to fail the first test all my friends did. and the other tests are not easier. you have to actually study for this class and watching the online lectures helps to an extent. not as easy as everyone says he is
This is definitely not an easy class, and you will have to work for it. However, Kerry Sauley is definitely one of the few great Professors at LSU that actually tries to teach the material. He also give extra credit opportunities throughout the semester so make sure to complete them.
I enjoyed this class. Dr. Sauley is very funny and makes the subject material relevant to modern day. He addresses how COVID-19 affects business. It is easy to remember this material because he is great at breaking down difficult material into simple ideas.
Fantastic professor. Very chill and funny. You need to study for the test, but its really not hard material. His lectures are informative and interesting
Make sure to study the powerpoint questions and he also hints at what questions will be on the exam within his lecture, very funny professor made class very enjoyable.
The lectures were given via powerpoint with a voice over which was really nice. He is absolutely hilarious and is great at explaining all of the concepts. His exams are very straight forward based on the lectures and he tells you key concepts that will be on the exam. There is also the opportunity to earn up to 15 extra credit points.
K-Money is the best, the class is more challenging then some people may say, but if you go to class, he does an amazing job of explaining the content, and also cares about his students. If you are having trouble in the class he is happy to work with you and is understanding of student problems.
He is an alright professor but he preaches that he is "for the student" when he is clearly not. He says maybe 2 or 3 tests questions in class and other than that the test is way to over complicated and hard for a MGT class.
K$ is one of the most engaging professors I've ever had. He 100% cares about his students, and he gives you all the resources you need to succeed. He posts ALL of his materials online, so you're never left wondering where to review course material. If you're a person with a love for clear study objectives, this is your guy.
Great person, great professor. Is clear about what is expected of you. Very accessible and accommodating. Makes lectures interesting & definitely worth going to. Even posts everything from class online in case you don't go or want to review. Easy homework, tests are pretty easy if you prepare from everything from class. easy to pass!
Professor Sauley is amazing. He makes attending class not seem like a chore. He gives you everything you need to pass his class. The questions he has implanted in his lectures and the lecture reviews are your key to doing really well in his class. Don't go into this class thinking it's going to be easy because you really do need to study.
I LOVE this man!! Highly recommend. I never once went and used his posted lectures powerpoints and got an A+ in the class. He's so nice and funny. Would love to take him again.
Known simply as The Great One by his colleagues. Without question one of the 5 best professors at LSU, at minimum. If you are lucky enough to have an opportunity to take a class taught by professor Sauley you should jump at it.
The only regret I had about his class was I couldn't have him in person. He is both an amazing instructor and an entertaining person. Tests can be difficult if you don't study, so take the class seriously. Otherwise, make sure to take him.
Hes very understanding! Dont be scared to communicate with him.
Professor K Money is one of the best professors at LSU! 3 Test. 1 Final then Test 1&2 lots of extra credit points! Please do the EC because you'll never know when it comes in handy! Very easy professor. Most of his test questions come right from the lecture videos and he also posts them on moodle! He responds back fast and is caring about your life
If you fill in his study guides completely, tests are easy. He is VERY clear about what will be on the test. He posted recordings of lectures so it's easy to go back and review when prepping for a test. If you get lower than an A in the class, you just didn't try at all. He's quick to reply to emails as well. Great professor!
Very knowledgeable and keeps interest. Well spoken and gets point across.
Best professor ever
This man is an AMAZING professor!! If you ever have the opportunity to take him, do it. You won't regret it!!
Tough Class in person would have preferred to take it online. Exams are very difficult although they are not proctored does not give you enough time for the number of questions he asks. Extra Credit does help a lot though you can add up to five points to your final grade.
He was great. He gives you everything you need to succeed in his class with some funny jokes. Explains everything super well.
Awesome guy. Take him if you can, he gives you absolutely everything to succeed.
Cool dude, cares about his students and is funny. Study the lecture review questions; they are very similar to the exams.
Very nice guy. Wants everyone to do well. His tests are 93% of final grade which is wild but he curves a lot. The tests are on moodle but they are hard. Go to class, take notes, and you will be fine.
Professor Sauley is a great professor. His jokes can be a little dry, but he lays out the material in a clear manner. He also uploads his lectures so class isnt mandatory. His tests are on our homework site, Mcgraw Hill, and are not in the testing center/lockdown browser. I would reccomend him for MGMT3200.
He is a great professor. I recommend going to class, but you don't have too.
Amazing and entertaining teacher! Test are made by him and don't even try to use chegg or you'll fail. His lecture reviews and exam objectives are the best way to study for his tests as well as notes taken in class. Attendance isn't mandatory and he posts all class materials but I still recommend going!
Professor Sauley is great! He puts all of his lectures on moodle so you don't have to go in person. Either way, I'd recommend watching the lectures because they are funny and they definitely help! He is very caring and he wants his students to learn! You can tell he loves his job. His passion is contagious and inspiring.
K-Money is one of the funniest professors on LSU campus. He makes lectures fun and it is apparent by how many people return to class. However, this course is exam HEAVY. 90% of your grade is just from exams, and the notes didn't do much help for me. The other 10% is easy homework. He does offer a lot of bonuses. Just beware of exams.
Sauley is the GOAT. I took the class expecting an easy A and learned otherwise. The exams are HARD IF you don't prepare. Watch the lectures, take notes on what he says that isn't on the ppts. 1st exam I just went in thinking it was easy and got humbled. I prepped for every exam after and made high A's. He is awesome. Take him if you can. Trust me.
K$ IS THE GOAT! You do need to study and prepare yourselves for exams. He will help you out if you are struggling.
THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT, THATS WHY HES THE MVP, THATS WHY HES THE GOAT THE GOOOAAAAAT
This class was mostly graded by tests, but had easy homework that you could get a 100% on. He really cares about his class, so just know the material.
must take if you a business major. I took 2 classes under him; one was mandatory, the other class was for CPE credits for my CPA license. Exams were tricky - need to read each question very carefully - lectures were wonderful
Highly recommend. The homework takes a while because its connect but if you do everything and do the extra credit studies it will help your grade so much. My grade went up 10% because of the extra credit. FOR EXAMS GO TO HIS LECTURE TRANSCRIPTIONS AND MAKE A DOC FOR HIS POTENTIAL EXAM QUESTIONS. it helps so much and so do his exam objectives
He is amazing, lectures are engaging, exams are very detail oriented so have a good grasp of the concepts. He gave a plethora of extra credit opportunities if anyone was interested and he truly has a passion both for the subject and also for the success of his students so he is willing to work with you. I would reccomend him as a professor.
Professor Sauley is an awesome lecturer and genuinely cares for his students and their success. He makes this class extremely easy. He offers 15 extra credit points. Furthermore, if you read the slides and take some notes you will do well on the exam. Ensure you take the time to understand these easy concepts and you will do well on the exams.
His lectures truly are engaging and interesting, but definitely take notes or use his lecture transcriptions for tests. Just because the tests are online and attendance isn't mandatory doesn't mean the tests are easy necessarily, you will need to know or at least be familiar with the material. McGraw Hill for homework sucked but otherwise recommend
He uploads his lectures on moodle, so you don't have to show up for class. I just filled out his exam objectives as I watched the lectures and did well on exams. He offered up to 15 points bonus which brought my grade up 4 points. His exams are online but they're not that easy, you have to have SOME knowledge. He does curve. He's AMAZING!
This class was super fun, but challenging. I learned a lot about classic rock music because every class starts with him playing a few rock n roll songs. The exams are difficult but if you pay attention and study it is not hard.
K Money is very obnoxious, but in a good way. His personality is very unique and he makes alot of dad jokes which can be cringey, but at the end of the day he cares about his students and his lectures very much. His assignments are not hard and the tests are on moodle. Attendance is not mandatory, but his lectures are fun.
Professor Sauley's MGT3200 class is a solid choice. Engaging lectures, detailed exams, and plenty of extra credit opportunities make this course manageable. Utilizing Unstuck ai alongside the textbook is a great way to prep for tests. Though exams are challenging, the professor's passion for the subject is contagious.
I took him last Fall and ended with an A-. I joined late and never went to class in person. I don't even know what he looks like. He curved the online exams, provided lecture videos and some extra credit opportunities. Can't go wrong with him.
One of the best LSU has to offer. Great guy who's really passionate about what he teaches. Before every class he had "rock n roll education" where he plays a couple songs by different bands from the 70's-90's. 90% of your grade comes from exams BUT all exams are done online and K dizzle does a great job teaching. Please take this guy
He is an amazing and kind teacher. Wants everyone to pass and do well. Extra credit opportunity of up to 15 points. Accessible if you email him about something and everything is based on your HW and your exams.
Overall he is a really good teacher, just the grading weights were really bad. 30% for each exam and then 10% on the homework and quizzes. If you get C's on the exams you end up with a C in the course. I averaged a 79% on the exams and barley got a B because of the one extra credit. He is a very good professor as far as teaching he is really good.
goat. that simple
The exams are worth a lot, but get 100s on the homeworks and do the extra credit you'll be fine. The exams are online and he usually curves them. His lectures are good and he keeps things interesting, but you do not need to go. He posts everything online right after class. This great if you have back to back class in the BEC right before/after
His lectures are amazing test are hard but if you look over his lecture notes you will do fine.
Very easy class. Records and posts all his lectures. If you know the answers to the lecture review questions, then you should do good on the exams.
Class is cake. He is a great person. Tests are online but difficult and homeworks are just multiple choice about concepts on connect. Nobody aces the tests online but you will likely make B's on them and if you don't miss a homework assignment you will finish with an A- probably. Hard to make an A+ but you will 100% make a B at least!
really good professor! he wants you to pass so he offers everything upfront and even records lectures. tests are similar to homework. would def take again
K Saul is the goat. I took this class for my minor and found it to be a great motivator compared to my STEM classes. Just complete the marketing studies for bonus, go to class, do the lecture reviews, and talk with him. Every class starts with rock and roll education, which was awesome. I also honors optioned this class, which he was great for!
Didn't go to class even once but really wish I did, his emails & transcripts sounded fun. Easy to make an A in this class if you're smart about it and put in an effort. Easy topics and provides LITERALLY everything online for you to succeed in the tests, even the transcripts to the lectures are up there. Don't be me and go to lectures if you can.
Love the way he keeps everyone's attention with his outgoing personality and pace walking. HW on McGraw-Hill (easy). Tests on Moodle (average difficulty). Attendance is not mandatory cuz he posts his lectures on Moodle, but I suggest going to class cuz you'll miss explanations on the board. Would def take him again if I could.
Kerry is the coolest professor I've had at LSU. He cares deeply for his students' success and has very entertaining lectures. His tests are a tad difficult if you do not go to class or watch the lecture videos. If you have the opportunity to take him for MGT 3200, DO IT! He also provided good extra credit and slightly curves each exam. 10/10!!!
his lectures were so entertaining i would watch them during my bath time. I went from thinking mgt class is stupid to wishing he dropped more lectures. Great guy--im gonna miss him. His tests are lowkey hard but there's extra credit so don't fret. To Dr. Sauley, thank you for your service--don't you go changing.
I wish I could wake up for class but he is the Goat. Homework was heavy for a few chapters. Extra Credit helped a ton and test were not hard at all. Just go to lectures or watch them online he is funny. Great teaching style we need more like him. I would take him again every semester if I could just read the other reviews. Dont look back, take him.
I only went to his class on the first day but he was very funny and seemed like a great professor. The class itself was very easy and he allows you to treat it as an online class if you wish to. Your grade is mostly determined by the exams but in general everything was very simple and easy. I would definitely take him again if I could.
This dudes a rocket bro love this guy chiller of the century. The tests can be difficult even with the possibility of "outside resources" as he writes his own questions. Ways do exist so I've heard from a friend of a friend whom received an A. Make sure you do the extra credit though.
