This class is actually fun, even if it is boring. His lectures are funny and semi helpful. I don't know what others are saying about practice exams. He didn't give one out to my class. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! It will save your grade bc the written portion of his exams are hard. Trust me, you'll pass but you need to try. And he really is funny.

As long as you do all the assignments there's no way to fail. All zoom meetings went over what was being tested if you were ever needed extra help. Also understanding if you missed an assignment

Mr. Anderson is a great guy and pretty easy professor, but I think going online due to covid was rough on him. He doesn't do well in an online setting, so if you need lot's of guidance, you may want someone else. However, if you can learn from the "textbook", you will probably love the class- it is pretty easy, with multiple trys on assignments.

He doesnt respond when you need assistance. I took this class with a friend and whenever we reached out, we wouldnt get a response. The class was really easy to the point where you dont have to do all your assignments and youll still pass, but if you get stuck on things and want to actually learn, he will not be helpful.

Professor Anderson is terrific. He records every meeting, so attending the calls isn't required. The workload is manageable, and his explanation of the concepts is beginner-friendly. Anderson taught in the VB language, FYI. The language is easy to grasp, and he is easy to reach if you have trouble. Take him.

I couldn't find CIS 22 in the course code list but he did teach CIS 22 this spring semester. I took his class, CIS 1 back in fall 2023 and was a great teacher. He really really cares about his students and will extend the deadline for assignments just for you to catch up. Will help you when you ask for it. Sad that this is his last semester :(

Unfortunately, it's his last semester but he was a really good teacher. He did have trouble hearing so there would often be students chattering in his class but that isn't really his fault. He'd extend due dates if you simply asked.

He's really nice and funny. He gives pretty long lectures & talks a lot. He's always given extensions on assignments whenever I asked and it's pretty laid back in his classroom. He's not strict at all, but it seems like he sometimes is not very experienced with what he is teaching.
