He is a great teacher but you must attend class his test are 60% from notes and 40% from the book. So if you take GOOD notes and read the book incl' the study guide in the back and pass the quizzes YOU WILL PASS. He didnt fail anybody in our class so if you slack off a bit at the beg' just catch up and you'll still pass. I enjoyed this class alot
very laid back teacher. i had a horrible teacher for govt 1 so i was kind of scared. but he was a really good teacher.
I just loved him, I don't know what I did on my finals. But anyways, he is the one who knows what he is doing. Plus he is the state legislator, so definetely go for him. You might have to take 5 quizes or so and 4 tests, which gives you more opportunity to get better grade. However, he will not be dropping your lowest test grade, but the quiz
He is full of information. He is also a state rep and has alot to say and alot to teach about the government. It isn't the typical things that most govt teachers teach. I highly recommend him. Even if you don't do so well on the tests, the quizes help alot but his tests are easy if you come to class!
Best college teacher I have had so far. You need to be prepared to take notes of his lecture every day so you can do well on the test. You don't really need to read the book, he already tells you what to know. He releases students out early as well, really cool teacher. If you have any question about government or politics, he's the best to ask!
SERIOUSLY Take this class during the summer. It turned out to be the best class I had ever taking. so good I picked him for both 2301/ 2302. for my summer 1 and 2. He gives you articles to read and does quizes every week, but the best part you dont have to write any paper
i highly recommend this teacher if u want an easy A. i took him for summer session 2. he let us out early everyday and gave us fridays off. be prepared to take notes, b/c that's where the test materials came from. the quizzes are ok, just read the articles and you'll do fine. i bought the book but he never made us read it.
He is the best govt teacher ever. He was a texas representative bu went on to bigger things. He made me have a new passion for politics and change my major. He is very easy on tests and quizes. Best and easiest class you will ever take. I highly recommend him to everyone.
I took him for GOVT 2302, second start. Instead of two hour class, we had only one hour of class(don't mean it was bad). We had 5 quizes and 5 multiple-choice tests. Quizes were connected to the articles that we were supposed to read. Tests were 60% notes from class and 40% from the textbook. I got D but it was all my fault. It was a good class.
He is not that great of a teacher. You take 5 quizzes, not multiple choice but if you read the articles its easy. The 5 tests are really hard. He talks really fast so you don't have enough time to write all the notes. I barely passed his class. Attendance isn't mandatory but it's wise to go.
good personality. very informative of wha's going on today in the world but notes didn't really help me. his lectures were only usefil for 40% of the exams. he's a cool professor as in not caring about attendednce but not good at lecturing on what will be on the exam.
i highly recommend this prof. he's really cool & laid back. class is always usually an hour. i took him for govt 2301 & 2302 [got an A in both] you'll have to take 5 short-answer quizzes based on the articles(he drops the lowest grade) and 5 mult.choice tests.
Very cool and nice guy. He was a member of texas house representative before and really knows what's going on regarding politics. There will be 6 quiz based on the article he hands out and 4 test in this class and the lowest one will be dropped. Just study the note and read the article carefully and you will be ok
"5/19/09": True words of a lazy student with no exp at a real uni. Bailey is very knowledgeable & has definitely made me interested in politics. He does give a lot of quizzes, but any good teacher would. As long as you study you will get an A on all of them with ease. Tests are easy as long as you pay attention during class and take notes.
Great teacher, very informed teacher on current and past events. He was a house rep and he will give you the truth behind government and how its really ran, not this crap they feed you in the news.
I cannot stress ENOUGH how amazing this teacher is. I know I sound dramatic but OMG he knows what he's talking about. His lectures are VERY interesting & as long as you go to class, you will completely understand the tests. He goes over everything on the exams. He has been my favorite teacher by FAR! I definitely recommend him!!!
I think he all right. I got B but somehow I think it not easy to make A in his class.
Prof Bailey is awesome! He was a House Rep for 19yrs. Very knowledgeable, very interesting. Teaches about the reality of Govt. He taught me alot! Six quizzes over interesting articles. Exams mult choice all from notes
Man, Professor Bailey is a blessing. Take good notes, do the readng, and get an "A". Just like that!
he is very easy teacher, make sure to take notes and don't miss his class since his tests are all about his lectures, quizes come from articles and don't be lazy, you have to read the articles very easy A
I seriously recommend this man. He knows what he's talking about. he was in the texas house of reps. he'vs very cool and will answer any questions regarding politics you have. 6 quizes 3 tests. if you study, you should be good. textbook from tests, quizzes from articles. it isn't hard, you'll learn ALOT .
Prof. Bailey is awesome! Write down everything he says in case..and i mean EVERYTHING and you're sure to get an A. TAKE HIM!
Really good teacher, retired from state leg...knows his stuff. Only 6 quizzes, lowest grade dropped, each 20 points + bonuses to add to 100+ quiz grade. 3 test and 1 final (not cumulative). Test over lectures and general knowledge over assigned text chapters. Easy A, I will definitely take him for GOVT 2!
He is an easy professor but he can also be VERY boring!!! He talks a lot, his quizzes are hard. I do not recommend taking him if you do not like to write a lot of notes and read all the chapters.
Man he was difficult, but you learned alot. Former state rep and really knows how government really works. Can do well if you work at it. Very interesting class.
Take notes on everything he says;read the notes and the textbook vocabs for the test and you'll do great.read the articles for the quizzes, which are easy, and he gave a lot of bonus points on the quizzes.no homeworks!he's a very generous grader! & write 3-5 pg research paper due at the day of final exam
As long as you go to class and take notes, you will be fine :)
First off, this professor KNOWS his government! BUT this class is ALL about the tests&quizzes..attending his class is a MUST. He goes over a MAJORITY of the test questions in his lectures..the quizzes also has a huge impact on your overall grade, be sure to read the ALL articles CAREFULLY!
Knows his government, test are bit difficult, quizzes is a MAJOR thing. According to his lecture, u must write 85% of it. Book is the details. his quizzes are the savior if you wanna pass. I say, i recommend it if you know your stuff
Difficult but learned a lot!!! he is a great teacher and knows what he teaches! just go to class take notes and read the articles and you will have a good grade!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TEACHER!!!
Wow....I mean just wow. What is he doing teaching at a community college? Give this man a job at a real University. He is the best government teacher i have ever had. He was a Texas legislature in the past so that alone tells you he KNOWS the government (Google him if you don't believe me). I always left the classroom knowing something new!
He's very smart (previous TX House Rep. for 14+ years) and if you do have a bit of knowledge about government, attendance is not completely mandatory. Though it is helpful, considering most of his test questions are from class notes. He's funny and relevant. I highly recommend him.
He served in the Texas legislature for about 15 years!!!!!! He obviously knows what he is talking about. Hes laid back, all you have to do is write down everything he says and read them before the exams! Articles for his class are easy, make sure to understand key concepts!!! Attendance is a must.
He is a tough hard teacher. Wish he would explain course contents well. No re-test policy.
A professor that is very helpful and precise on what you need to do. Take him if you want to have an informative class that is entertaining. He is willin got go over anything as a discussion as long as its related to govt. The exams are somewhat difficult but he drops the lowest quiz grade and gives a curve on exams if the class needs it.
Kevin Bailey is not a helpful teacher. Do not take his class. You will regret it later.
In order to pass this class you MUST take notes. When teacher writes he does it very little and abbreviates a lot so if you didn't catch what he said you basically have to figure it out alone. He gets bothered if you ask him to repeat, although he is always asking if anyone have questions. Might be smart but he NOT good for teaching.
Mr. Bailey is a former House of Representative so he has a lot of real experiences to share. But sometimes he shares too much and/or discussion will veer away to other political discussions, resulted in some other materials doesn't get covered. Test is generic in addition to his own, though his own materials is more than enough for the class.
I would not recommend this teacher.
I thought his class was great! Was hoping to get an "A" ended up with a "B". Great guy enjoyed taking his course during the mini session. Barely used the book, wish I didn't buy it. Take good notes, and you will pass.
he is just awesome! his lectures are soooo interesting, i even forgot about everything! didn't want to miss a class!!!! even though i have a 4-months-old baby!!!! GREAT!!!!
Awesome teacher, you just need to go to class every day and take good notes. His lectures are intriguing and very interesting you will not be bored but you might be convinced of joining the Texas House of Rep.
He's really funny, and his lectures are interesting. But as far as the quizzes and the tests, they are somewhat confusing and hard. Read the articles very carefully, and study for the tests extensively if you want to receive an A.
Loved him! His lectures are soo interesting. He tells you exactly what to study for with the quizzes and all his questions for the tests come from the lectures!
Great teacher!!!!! If you need to take this class take him. Attendance isn't mandatory but every thing the test is over he discuss it in class if you attend class you basically will past the test. He gives you a study guide for each test and goes over each question in class and give you an amp amount of time between the next test. GREAT TEACHER!!!!
Great guy very informative and to the point. His lectures reflect his tests so take notes of the main points of his lectures.Take his courses! Awesome professor definitely recommend.
Very straight forward as long as you pay attention in class you should get a B. If you write some notes and 30 min of study a week, it's a for sure A.
Took him for both 2305-2306 and loved it! He literally gets straight to the point on teaching (cept when he gets thrown off subject and rambles about other funny things). Real life experiences in his teaching makes it a lot more understandable and enjoyable to learn. Only bad thing is he likes to rush the lecture, get it over with, and run home!
WORST TEACHER EVER!!! he gave us stupid boring long articles to read and take quizzes from them, which he had never discussed in the class before. (total 7 quizzes) two lowest will be dropped. they are not multiple choice questions. there are 4 Exams (100 MCQ's) each exam. I will never recommend this teacher.
He's okay. Very interesting when giving his lectures; it's good to hear the point of view of an actual former House representative of Texas. Attendance not mandatory, but all his tests will be over lectures, some text book, and his quizzes are easy if you ask him what they're going to be over. ALWAYS ASK.
Wow I don't believe the reviews I'm reading! This class is EASY. All of his test come from his notes. Take him if you want an A.
Would never recommend him to a student.
There are five exams and seven quizzes (two of which he drops.) The quizzes are from articles you read and exams are from the notes. He is a retired state rep and he knows his stuff. Definitely recommend him! Easy A.
AMAZING TEACHER & CLASS. Retired Congressman, so really knows his stuff. Hilarious & lectures always informativeinteresting. Gives a REVIEW for EVERY TEST! Have no idea why ppl think class is hard. Just have to listentake notes in class, then do review for EASY A ON TEST! Don't need book, google key terms. Article quizzes-boringlittle harder
What I have learned from my experience. He doesn't answer questions and if you miss something very rude. Articles are too long and quizzes are short don't knw what to study. Hard tests. Don't recommend at all.
7 articles 7 quizzes 5 test and help from the professor not so much. Professor is rude and doesn't respond to questions.
This professor not only is he rude but he is very unprofessional in the way he teaches. Personally for me he should have stayed being a Texas Rep instead of becoming a teacher.
My honest opinion on this professor is that he is a very funny teacher and his stories are very interesting. However, I wish he would give his own study lecture the same style as he does to his own personal stories. Very hard tests! Each one! Quizzes are just as tricky becuase aritcles are so long and quizzes are too short! Do not take him!
Mr. Bailey is a professor that I recommend only to those who will show up to every class. He does lecture only, no PowerPoint guides. He gives 6 quizzes based on article readings and drops the lowest quiz score; there are 4 tests (including the final), the final is based on the last chapters read. He gives study guides for tests.
Horrible professor and extremely rude. The quizzes are difficult to get right and he speaks too fast. He explains points here and there, but is very confusing. Would not recommend him at all.
he takes his too seriously dont take him and make you do 7 quizes in the semester i do not recommend to anyone
I really liked this professor! His class is interesting and hes very funny! However, with that being said, I think the work load is a little high for a 3 credit government class. 7 Quizzes, 5 Tests. each require a good amount of studying. It is doable and I am getting As on everything but most of the class is frustrated with the work. Your choice.
He lectured entire class, knows his stuff He gives 5 exams including non comprehensive final If you attend class & read book some then it should be easy He gives 7 quizzez, 2 lowest are dropped and this helps boost your grade a lot Have to read long articles for quiz but worth it Good professor would take again Whatever you do turn OFF your phone!
Never thought i'd say politics are interesting... but here i am. He's a great teacher, funny, and really cares about what he's teaching. gives plenty of oppurtunity for extra credit, and he answers all your questions that youd ever want. i really suggest taking him.
Don't take him. Please, save yourself. Horrible.
He gives really great lectures on current problems, but they have nothing to do with the tests. The tests are really tough and his notes are not the best. He rushes when it comes to quizzes so you have to be quick or else you'll fail. Overall, I do not recommend him.
He knows what he's talking about. He's super funny, and its easy to sit there and listen to his lectures. Everything he talks about is on a test so there's no surprises. He does give an "article quiz" every other week or so. 10 questions over the articles. Its really not that hard. I got B's on every test, and A's on all the quizzes. Recommend.
If your rating of this instructor is anything less than a 5, your aspirations in life can probably be found on the Mcdonalds grill line, flipping hamburgers. Academically speaking, this class is a Free B at worst. Solid professor, uses his own lecture notes, worked on the legislature for 20 years, informative and knowledgeable. Funny to boot.
Professor Bailey, I think hes a really good teacher, he does give quizzes, at least once every 2 weeks, but they are all based off of articles, he includes bonus questions on them too. We did take long exams, but he made study guides. If you study for the exams and read and comprehend the articles for the quizzes, you'll do fine (:
Love this guy. He is so funny and makes gov. funny. He is very clear and organized. 7 quizzes and he drops 2!! everything is on the study guides and in the textbooks. It is not hard just read.
I'm currently enrolled in his 2305 Govt class & it's currently my favorite class. He is very knowledgeable about our Government because he served in our state legislature for many years. He's also funny and will make the lectures interesting by telling us stories or giving us many examples that make you really understand the concepts.
Took him for 2305 and 2306. Very straight forward teacher. 7 quizzes, drops the lowest 2 and there's a five point bonus on each one. I never read the text book and only used it for the key terms he gives for each test. This class is an easy B with almost no effort. Test are between 75-100 multiple choice questions. Non-cumulative final.
Unique perspective of the government from someone who used to be a Texas politician.
Professor Kevin Bailey made this Government enjoyable. Often times Government lectures are boring but Kevin Bailey made it amusing. He keeps it simple with exams and quizzes. If you want to succeed in his class, come to class, pay attention, and take plenty of notes. But don't let him see you on your cell phone because he will call you out
Took him for 2305 and 2306. He's very knowledgeable of the subject, and if you take notes you're set. His quizzes are almost word for word the same thing as the articles he assigns. The tests aren't too difficult, but you have to study for them. Overall, great prof who gives a lot of bonus points too. Take him!
EASY A CLASS. REALLY NICE LECTURING . THE BEST FOR GOVERNMENT
He speak very fast. Try to don't skip class most of the questions in the exams come from information that he discuss in class. He is a good professor and takes in consideration students that work hard to pass his class. If you for any reason cannot take one of the tests, he will let you take at test center any day . Take him!!
good professor. This prof is a gem in Govt.
good professor . easy A class. Attend the lectures and take notes. interesting class. oly MCQ test and one word quizzes
i am an international student . i had no foreknowledge of American govt and because of him I got an A. interesting classes, easy one word quiz and multiple choice test.
Govt is not boring in his class. Prof is extremely educated and isn't bigoted or racist which is hard to come by with Govt. professors. Extremely likeable and gives hints on quiz papers. He gives ample opportunity to raise your grade if you are struggling.
If you don't like govt, this class is not for you. Get ready to get an F. His exams are really hard.
He is truly a gem! Him being a former politician for the Texas legislature and having him teach this course is so cool. His lectures are interesting and he is an awesome guy, I am so glad I got to take his class. His lectures are amazing and his grading criteria is clear! As long as you take notes during his lectures & pay attention you will pass!
I am so happy that I took his class. He is a great knowledgeable guy who is an amazing professor at HCC. He truly knows his stuff and is awesome I would retake just to enjoy the content of his lectures. For grading wise he is clear on what he grades on ( Quizzes and Tests) and does tell you in advance when are they. Easy A if you study and listen
Professor Bailey is overall lecture heavy, so attend his class in order to pass! There is quizzes almost every other week and so are exams, 5 exams and about 8 quizzes from articles that you have to get from the library. You have to read in his class a lot to understand the article and take lots of notes in class. Overall, he is a good professor.
I took him for Government 2305 and 2306. He's funny and have some good stories to tell. He can be rude if student when students ask stupid question. If you miss a test you can take any time with out a doctor note or anything like that. NO ESSAYS IN THIS CLASS!!! I love him
Honestly enjoyed coming to class every day. He lectured really well, and even though I didn't get an A, the class was so interesting that it was worth it. A textbook is nice, but not a necessity. I didn't use one and I got a B. Quizzes over readings, a lot of tests, and one or two small extra credit assignments. Pay attention, come to class, study
I'm an A+ student. I work hard to get A's. I've worked extremely hard to earn an A and the best exam grade I received from him was a 88. His exams are worded confusingly and sometimes, his lectures don't match up with information in the textbook. If you care to make an A, don't take this class. If you're just trying to fly by, do it.
7 quizzes and you have to manually go to the library and print them all out and the copy machine in the library is jacked so you'll find yourself losing money and wasting time. He is unorganized. Exams are unclear. Don't take his class, seriously. Hard to make an A.
Free response quizzes are on large articles you must get from the library. If you don't read them, you cannot pass. He gives shallow notes with shallow exam reviews but nearly 90 exams questions. A lot of people say his exams have A LOT of questions that arent in the book or notes. Take this classyoure guaranteed to fail! THIS IS A WARNING!
If you do not like writing papers and essays, then Prof. Kevin Bailey is for you. To kind of counter that his exams are 60 to 80 questions. The questions are like Who controls this? or Who is the weakest part of the government? The thing is you need to go to the library and read articles for the quizzes. The quizzes have 10 questions and a bonus.
had reviews for every test, it was a summer course so we had a test every week as well as a quiz, but for the quizzes the required reading packets were sometimes 6-10 pages long and if you didn't study them well you wouldn't pass. he was very understanding and had great stories not diverting away from the actual lecture.
Great teacher! I never liked history, but Bailey made it interesting and easy to understand. Great lectures. Read the small selections for the quizzes they add up for extra credit in the end. Write everything he writes, it'll most likely be on the exam. Read the chapters, but if you don't you'll be fine.
He is often forgetful when it comes to his own quiz and exam dates, so it is so hard to prepare for exams and even his quizzes. If you ask a question of any kind he blows it off with a very rude remark, your classmates will be your saving grace with it comes to passing this course. Please carefully consider another instructor to save your time.
Unfortunately, he does not offer extra credit or curves in his class. In the beginning, he said there might be an opportunity to help your grade TBA later on. Often forgetful it slipped his mind. Studying is the only thing saving your grade. Hardest class I have ever taken. Please save your time for a more positive learning experience.
Often rude to students if you ask for help or even a question. He skips the answer and responds by a very rude remark, neglecting to help his students. Rarely does any form of reviews, so your pretty much on your own to learn the material. A very stressful experience I don't recommend this for anyone.
He gave very interesting lectures, and his class was not just about memorization. I learned a lot. He told many stories that were relevant to what he was teaching which made it easier to remember.
I really enjoyed being in Dr. Baileys class. I never really cared for government that much until i took this course. He's a really nice and funny professor. His tests are slightly confusing, but other than that, his lectures are really informative. I definitely learned more than i expected and i'm happy i took his class.
Really good teacher write everything he writes down and read the articles he says to read.
He is a great professor! Gives few quizzes as extra credit which definitely helps if your not doing well with the exams. If your having problems with your grade communicate!! He will work with you. Definitely recommend him!!
Overall, great teacher and it was an easy class if you study well enough. His lectures are never boring. I highly recommend him.
He sets up in person to have 7 test 8 quizzes or something like that. He has never done a online class so he was easy when he switched to a online modality. Take online if available which is likely right now only. Easy B in person easy A online.
Prof. Bailey was very easy for online. He didnt lecture just got on class to answer any questions and discuss current issues and paper subjects. Easy A for sure. Just read the textbook and take the exams seriously and youll pass. Papers are easy and youll get a good grade on those just meet the basic criteria of them.
He did not teach. He would give you the chapters to read and you would have to take the test. The tests would not even tell me the answers I got wrong. I was at an 89 and he did not respond or round up my grade when I asked if it was possible to do so.
Great teacher loved his lectures. He served in government as a House Rep. and talks about his time and relates it to the class. You will need to read out of class but nothing to lengthy. Grades papers great and was just an over all great teacher.
Do NOT take this course this professor will not reply to your emails, and also if you take your test online the first time the next class day he will tell you that only your classes tests have been erased therefore you will have to take them all over again with a pencil or paper. Also watch out if you accidently pull out your phone he will scream.
Showed up 15 minutes late to class every time, class was 5-25min long. Teaches the basics, lessons based on his experience which is cool. In person test aren't too easy, online test on quizlet. Personally did not read but heard it was helpful. Does not respond. If he taught longer and based his test on his teachings, I'd give a 5.
He's kinda mean. But he's also kinda funny. He sticks to his stuff, and tells you exactly what you need to do. Very reliable in that sense. His lectures are very short, class was never over an hour. But he's usually late. Lots of quizzes and exams, but they're not too difficult. Just DO NOT miss class.
Very easy course. No writing assignments at all. A bit of reading for quizzes, but not too bad. You should read the textbook, but honestly, just pay attention to the lectures and takes notes, and you'll do fine. Very short lectures. Class almost always lets out about 30 min - 1 hr early!
DONT TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU WANT TO PASS THIS COURSE. He was 15 minutes late every class and would leave 10 min early. He never responded to any of my messages about my accommodations and my first quiz that was never graded until I talked to the chair and dropped his class. The quizzes are every week and the rest are every other week.
One of my favorite professors. He was funny and exciting. The class is easy to pass; pay attention in lectures and review your notes. Read the articles for quizzes and the textbook for tests; it's that simple. I took a 5-week course, and we had 6 quizzes and 4 exams. All quizzes had a bonus question. If you're looking for an easy A, take him.
Took his summer course, 6 quizzes (bonuses on all of them) 4 exams, the lectures and book (definitely worth renting rather than buying) coalign directly with the exams (exams are easy) A man who has experience in TX Gov. Definitely worth taking if you want an easy A
How does a person who WORKED as part of the government, HATE Texas so much? If you think the State of Maine is so great, then go back. He comes to class late and teaches for only 5-10 minutes. The lectures are repeats of themselves. Exams had content that was never taught. He's very rude. Really surprised he hasnt been fired yet, honestly.
This teacher grades so harshly and is not helpful with resources. The quizzes are so hard for no reason (gives irrelevant questions). The exams question are all repetitive and bad formats. One time me and my friend compared our quizzes and got multiple questions that wrong for one person but not the other. Please make this classes much more doable.
he would literally talk about his life and experience working for the Texas government ALLLL the time. like if your life stories and experiences are not going to be on the test don't take up 75% of the class time talking about it. don't get me wrong he is a funny guy but if he's having a bad day... You'll know he can be super rude
We purchased textbooks via tuition, but never gained access to those; eventually (halfway through semester), we accessed to a totally different textbook online. There's 6 quizzes; for ea. quiz you must photocopy 20+ pgs of reading material...expensive compensation for his lack of online savvy. We never go over tests or quizzes once they're turn in.
He is a really nice guy, but lawd, his class was HARD. You basically teach yourself and are graded on 6 Quizzes and 5 Tests, which makes it really hard to have a high grade unless you get A's on all of them. He is funny but teaches/talks harshly. Just know that you have to study every minor detail to pass the tests and read the quiz article 50x.
I wish I could take another class with Mr. Bailey again, as he's extremely informative and approchable.
I personally didnt have a tough time in his class, but a lot of others struggled because he was unorganized and didnt care for excuses. He rambled a lot and repeated lectures, so you had to study a lot of the material on your own. I wouldnt recommend him to first- or second-year students. But if you show up and study, you shouldnt have any issues.
Only uses textbooks to "teach" the class. The "lectures" were talking about when he was in the Houston house committee or his girlfriend. He is very rude and says "If I give you an F, that means you deserve the F". He always comes into class 15 minutes late. He grades you on 6 quizzes and 5 exams. Wouldn't recommend this class to my worst enemy.
This professor is by far the worst I've seen. He is very disrespectful to his students, and he talks down on them constantly. His lectures almost never matter for the quizzes and exams. His teaching method is strictly Articles. Save yourself and find a different Tx Govt class.
Pretty easy class, just a little bit reading and you'll be fine
Professor Bailey's class is a mixed bag - sometimes confusing, but his lectures are engaging if you stay focused. The textbook is helpful, and using unstuck study for quiz prep can make a big difference. Overall, a challenging but rewarding course.
This man couldn't even show up to class on time like seriously? As a professor that's not a good example to set. He repeats the same thing over and over I just decided to drop the class like I feel bad for him because he just often reminisces about his life to us idk. I'm not going to waste my time like that and should have listened to the reviews.
he was a cool guy. i cant really complain much, there are other much worse professors. he never even took attendance and always showed up 10 minutes late but nobody really cared. does quizzes every few weeks and a test. he did repeat himself a lot but it was mostly for the stuff that was on the test so idk why so many people complained.
Worst teacher I ever had. His lectures and assigned readings are jus his political opinions and old man rants. Some questions on the tests are about material that we never learned in lecture and cannot be found in the textbook. I am the only person I know with an A in the class, do not take him if you are unwilling to do research outside of class
Unresponsive and Unavailable I had an urgent issue regarding my final exam during the summer session and reached out to him multiple times on different platforms. He never replied or acknowledged any single of my messages. It felt like he was completely unavailable outside of class time. I dislike him so much, I wish I didn't take him. Please dont!
