I really liked him. We had one "paper" and everyone got an A+. 1 test, a midterm, and final. All are multiple choice. He let's you do corrections to get 1/3 of the points back. He's funny and knows his stuff. Can talk kind of fast but is willing to repeat if you show you are paying attention. Likes participation.

You need to attend class in order to do well in this course. No exams but the encyclopedia is tiresome. Very nice and often times funny. Take good notes but if you're able to record lectures, DO IT. It makes doing the encyclopedia so much easier.

It used to be a very easy class. You would just come to class, listen to his lectures, and take notes. However, after the school shut down because of the virus, he got lazy. Instead of doing video lectures like other teachers, he decided to give us tons of long readings. He would ask us to find answers from the readings, which are very difficult.

It is an unofficial writing-intensive course. The instructor requires you to write a 50-100 page encyclopedia. The name of the course is "History of Anthropology." You literally have to write the history of the anthropology A-Z. Do not take it unless you are an anthropology major. Take ANTH 238 or ANTH 279 instead, if you want easy electives.

Really sweet and all you have to do is answer a few quick powerpoint questions based on readings (usually they are funny) and just really compile your notes into an encyclopedia. Its actually easier than you think and he guides and let you redo them till your happy with your grade! Thats it. Show up to class type your notes in his formate thats it!

Skip class? You won't pass.

this man is a fountain of wisdom. easy to excel if you do the readings, and participate when its time to talk about them. there is always something wacky he has to show us and the energy of the classroom is relaxed. you can only not do well if you dont care.

prof. birth is great to work with. his lectures are easy going and he can crack jokes with his students. the encyclopedia itself can be annoying, but he gives you opportunities to improve and is open to helping students outside of class.
