I took Professor Dalina for a 4 week online summer course. It was an easy four weeks, gave us weekly message board assignments plus watching a movie and reflecting on it. Offered extra credit twice during the 4 weeks, and graded papers really quickly.

He gives clear grading criteria and the assignments are all online and the bulk of the class is just reading and writing on the boards. For clarification purposes I only gave a 4 rating for difficulty because it was a winter course and very fast paced. You have to be willing to put in the work, there is no way around it. If you do this, you will guarantee pass. Dr. Dalina is great and among the best by far at MCC. Extremely knowledgable and you will learn plenty about the subject!

I took the online POS-201 with this professor. It is an online class, so students have to stay on top of different due dates and assignments. However, it is definitely possible to do well if one reads/ reviews the materials that the professor is asking students to read and review. His directions are clear. The Professor provides the textbook for you free of charge gives you around 4 to 5 assignments on a weekly basis and makes them due Sunday so that you have plenty of time to do them. Just make sure to read over the assignments clearly and take your time with them and you will be just fine.

He's a really nice professor. His class is not very hard, it's actually very well balanced. There is work to do in the class, like papers and readings, but that is not that hard, and the grading criteria is pretty clear and lenient as well.

There is 2-3 discussion boards per week plus 1-2 political reviews/current events and one final paper. If you follow the requirements like word count that he makes clear, you'll get 100s on pretty much everything & extra credit.

overall amazing professor. there is a whole lot of writing but he is very understanding and allows late submissions. Responds back pretty fast and the class material itself is not too hard to understand. definetly would take another class with him. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Prof Dalina is very understanding of everyone's circumstances. He is attentive and will answer questions promptly. I remember the final assignment saying I couldn't use a source before 2017, but he allowed me to as it related to my topic. Unambiguous grading criteria, easy A, gives extra credit. Highly recommend taking him.

Professor Kevin Dalina is Amazing. He gives truly interesting lectures and is very caring. He will go above and beyond as well ad understand his students and give the help with anything you may need. Overall, Great class is very organized with work and assignments. Please take his class you won't regret it!

I would recommend taking him if you have to complete this course because he is very understanding with late work and the is very easy. I do recommend making sure you have reference pages because I got points taken off for not having a reference page. He does offer 6 points extra credit at the end of the semester, so make sure you do it!!

Professor Dalina is very understanding. The work takes some time to finish but he provides feedback. He is accessible only by email and you must be timely with those, which is understandable. Overall I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in the course.

I would take another course taught by Professor Dalina. He accepts late work at any time and will offer extra credit before the end of the semester. He is also very helpful when you have any questions regarding the assignments. This course was great and I would recommend others to take any course taught by Professor Dalina.

Professor Dalina is a very good professor. for having a 5 week course i thought it was gonna be a nightmare but honestly wasnt that bad. he takes latework until the end of the semester and his hw is really easy just papers. if you actually put time you will get rewarded TRUST.

Very easy class and the professor was very easy to reach outside of class. He accepts late work and gives extra credit at the end of the semester. Does give 3 assignments per week that are semi time consuming. Don't procrastinate and do the work and you will get an A+. Very interesting class as well. I learned a lot about my local government.

It was a fairly easy class, even if it was repetitive and bland. It doesn't matter what you write, so long as you meet the minimum requirements for the assignments, you will get a 100.

Workload was never not manageable. If needed at the end of semester late work can be handed in.

Professor Dalina was very good and I highly recommend you take his online class. He gave the class extra time to complete work and extra credit as well. He posts 3 assignments that are due by Sunday but they are not crazy ones they are pretty complex but easy, especially when he gives a week to finish them. I would totally take his class again.

Great class and Prof. Only change would be an earlier deadline for discussions so busier people wouldn't have to sit and wait and plan weekends around classmates. Learned a ton of CURRENT knowledge and the textbook being updated to current times was great and I enjoyed all of it. I would absolutely take another class offered by Dr. Dalina!

I had Professor Dalina for an online course and do not have any complaints regarding him or the class. He always provided detailed instructions for each assignment. The only comment I would make is on the strict word count on assignments, which sometimes makes it feel as though I am repeating myself just to reach the minimum. I recommend the class.

Great class, be on top of you assignments so it gets easier, the professor understands its student and lets you do some late work. Lectures are not hard to understand, you just have to do some research and you will pass the class easy.

The class requires a good amount of time but the assignments aren't very difficult. Dalina is a relaxed grader you just need to follow word counts. He also accepts late assignments though he takes a while to grade them.

The workload is reasonable, the grading criteria is clear, concise, fair. It's also evident the professor cares to help you SUCCEED as he followed up on any questions! Highly recommend.

This class was easy to follow based on the modules. He grades assignments using Turnitin, which was unfortunate because not everything is AI. He also grades slowly. Other than that, the assignments were straightforward and on topic. Many extra credit opportunities, too. Do them!

This was an online course, and I must say it was easy to follow. Lots of paper assignments and interactive discussions. He also responds quickly. Sometimes a little slow with grading though.

You have to do a lot of reading and writing, but it's manageable as long as you manage your time well, and the assignments are very straightforward.

Took this professor online and is really chill with the assignments. Should be on the easy Side of courses and would take again.

I procrastinated very bad this semester. I turned in about 90% of the courses work in the final week of class, and the professor graded it all without an issue and I ended the course with a B+, potentially an A after the final goes in. It's pretty much weekly writing assignments which isn't easy, but he's very lenient. Genuinely a savior.

I procrastinated a lot in this class, and submitted a decent amount of work in the end. Ultimately, the class is not hard, and no reason to get an A as long as you keep up with your work. He communicates very well and gives you ample amount of time to get every assignment done.

If you do the work you will get an A+. Fast response time, good professor for what he teaches.

Kind professor, online course was very organized and well thought out. Expectations were very clear every week. He is generous and understanding as long as you do the work. There is around 900 words of writing every week in papers and online discussions.
