Great teacher, gives study guides and lectures slow enough so it can be written down. Not bad to look at either

This teacher is one of coolest teachers at Cypress. He's totally fair and very nice to the point you would want to take him out to DRINK some time.

This teacher is so easy. If you were half lazy like myself you can still manage a B. (Imagine if I took the extra credit quiz? A) No reading required (at least when I took it for spring 2003.) Gives you study guides that are very similar to the test

awesome teacher, easy going guy, and interesting class overall. he is very detail driven on essays, so you have to give him alot of details, but he gives you the outline before the test, so as long as you prepare, you should do great on his tests.

i took the summer intersession class and its really easy so far. he is a very kind teacher, very interesting. there's ALOT of note taking, but its worth it because you learn a lot and the test is mainly based on the notes. also, hes very good looking and his voice is so soothing and relaxing, you just wanna listen all day =D

Prof. Eperjesi is a nice teacher, however, it's easily identified that his educational background is limited as his lectures are the same each and every class period. His powerpoints are paragraphs taken from the text to be copied down and studied from and this can be exhausting after a little while. The tests are all blue book essay.

This was a great teacher! I took him for winter interces (& would again) so there were a lot of notes, but copy them all because the tests pretty much come from them and the study guides.Nice,helpful,easy going. He doesn't mind if you're late and let us out a little early too. I didn't need the book but regular semesters might. 1 paper & 1 project.

I really enjoyed his class. His test are easy, but only if you know the material. You do have to attend class, but I didn't use the book much. If you want an A go to the SI sessions.

He actually tries on his powerpoints to make it less boring by putting different backgrounds and even sounds. It's cute. Lots of notes, but for the tests, his study guides very helpful. You don't need to buy or read the book. Attend all lectures and use the study guide he provides. All test ?s are the same as the study guide questions and tests are multiple choice. Just study what he gives you and you will get an A. Two small projects are also required ... they are really easy too.

He is the easiest teacher I have ever had, while actually teaching you about politics. You do not need the book, just go to class and write down the notes he puts up and all of the questions for the tests are in the study guide in the exact order. Almost everyone gets an A. He made it a really fun and enjoyable class. I totally recomend him!!!

I really love this professor. Even though I only took this class for my requirements I really enjoyed it. Although there are a lot of writing he really made it worth it because his tests are based on the things that he went over. No unexpected test questions that he never covered. I recommend him to anyone. :D

powerpoints clear; very helpful; gives out study guides (basically the test) supper easy. class was fun. he's nice and really cares about polsci like no other. alot of writing from ppt. but its worth it. you dont really need a textbook, so dont buy it. waste of dinero.

This professor is awesome. Very nice. Class is pretty relaxing. Take the powerpoint notes because they will all be on the test. He gives u all the test questions and not a lot of other work. 2 projects but he grades them fairly easy. His grading is mainly on test but the test r all from notes. Attendence is not mandatory but it is better go.

He's really helpful and easy to approach. I took him for summer session. 3 tests, 1 essay and a final. He provides you with a study guide for each test, do the work and you'll be fine. The study guide is EXACTLY like the test. You'll do fine without the text as long as you pay attention in class and copy down all of his ppt notes. Amazing teacher.

Im in the process of completing PoliSci 100 over summer i was a bit worried because i thught it would be alot of work but it wasnt just go to class take notes and do the study guide the study guide is 100% like the test. Its not difficult at all.

3 tests, 1 essay, and the final. take all powerpoint notes cuz thats how ull fill out the study guide which is pretty much the test. he looks and sounds like a straight politician which proves that he has a thing for politics. kinda reminds me of john wayne.

hes a REALLY good teacher. you'll learn so much in that class. he gives current events at the beginning of class which is pretty cool. you dont need the book b/c everything in the power point is on the test so you'll be saving money. Very easy A. Gives you a study guide for each test. Straight out of the notes, no textbook required. Attendance isn't mandatory, but the more notes you miss... the less material you're going to have to complete the study guides. Conservative political views, which was nice for a change!

I had a so,so interest in politics until I took his class. Now I listen intently to the radio, newspapers, tv, and compare as to what is really being said. I sort of read between the lines in all media forms. I am NOW interested in the direction that our country is taking and its past history.

I hate politics, however his class was extremely easy to follow. Powerpoints are very clear and the test questions are right off of his lectures. Make sure to attend class to get all the lecture notes. He is also very attractive for an older gentleman! He is a very pleasant, nice man who made the class enjoyable.

This guy is the man! A really nice guy who teaches very well. WOrkload is not bad at all, just go to class and take the notes off the powerpoint and you will do fine. I learned a lot in his class and now i am much more interested in what's going on in the world. I recommend him to anyone who is willing to show up and just pay attention.

If u want simple solid helpful teacher, search no more, he is ur man. study guides, go over the study guides before exams, (aka give u the answers). no extra credit sadly, but just study hard on the exams, u can't do wrong, and make sure u remember u do ur radio papers!!! and FOLLOW the GUIDELINES and u will have A in no time

This guy rocks, he knows his stuff, and will take opinions that dont agree with his own into consideration. He is very much against popular media sources, such as news stations and normal papers, and he really preaches to not believe what you hear in popular media. I think that's awesome

Do not need textbook, no homework, all lectures/notes, gives study guides which are based off his lecture and notes for tests/final, 1 small essay. I like how he tells us not to believe the politics of media but search it for ourselves. This guy knows his lectures by heart. He will give his honest opinion and leaving nothing out, good or bad. Took this class in the summer, all the review below me are true! Very easy and simplistic class, copy down the powerpoint and study the study guide. The radio paper is simple. Seriously take this teacher, he's kind of boring but very easy! Plus the study guide is the test in the same order!

Prof Eperjesi is the guy to take. He's CRYSTAL clear in his expectations for the tests/final and drops the lowest test score (excluding the final). Best study guides ever. He doesn't preach his ideologies and is objective overall. He wants you to learn "facts" as opposed to persuading your political views. A+ teacher, very fair.

Professor Eperjesi is an insanely smart professor who knows what he's talking about. He makes it a point to educate his students with the government. He gives his point of view on issues, and does not shove his ideas into your face. Text book wasn't used, just come to class and take notes!

I highly recommend Mr.Eperjesi. I didn't know anything about politics and I was nervous to take this class but the lessons and the study guides he provides makes everything so easy. There were 3 tests throughout the semester, just review the study guides and you will do fine. If you miss a day make sure you get the notes from someone.

I don't think I've ever read a better syllabus. His syllabus is so direct and clear and is not inflated with the extra mumbo jumbo that most professors put in it. He's down to earth, clear, and DOES NOT push his agenda in politics like some other teachers do. If his class is half as awesome as his syllabus then I'm in for a treat!

He seems pretty easy so far. All we do is taake notes and the notes are prewritten. He allows laptops, so you can download the lecture notes and type in class or print them out and write. He is very clear when he is lecturing and he gives great understandable examples of the definitions. I'm so glad I finally got into his class.

Great teacher! Very clear and organized. All the notes are powerpoint and the test questions come directly from it. He also gives out study guides before the test. The class is a little dry, but it's a dry subject, in my opinion. He doesn't try to push any political agenda on you, which is a plus. I highly recommend him!

I enjoyed this class WAY more than initially expected. The subject itself bores me to death, and I found myself falling asleep because the entire class is literally all note-taking, HOWEVER, incredibly worth it. Has powerpoint handouts and gears the test directly from those handouts. Super easy. Incredibly nice guy too!

I've taken Political Science before with another teacher, and I ended up withdrawing because the class was too difficult. This class is an easy A if you attend class, and take the power point notes. honestly I'm not into politics what so ever so I was a bit worried about this class. Key is to show up everyday make sure you print the lecture notes before hand so you can just fill in the blanks during class rather than copying down the whole slide. Test is the Study guide basically, all the answers are in the power points. Rarely used the book

The study guide is basically the test. All the answers are in his notes word for word.His tests are so easy that people finish in 5-10 minutes. Also, he lets you out super early

Awesome professor. I took the class in high school and i didn't learn a thing but it was really easy taking it with this professor since he knows how to explain the material really well with his PowerPoints. You will not use the book so save yourself the $100. You can tell he's a conservative when he talks about certain political issues in class.

HE TAKES ATTENDANCE EVERY CLASS and you will not get out early. 3 test(lowest score is dropped) and a final. He seems to lean towards the right but he does try to give both sides. Lectures are PowerPoint which you can print it out so you can fill in the blanks. Study guides are given out and test are pretty much word for word from the study guide.

He assigns no EC, but exams are largely based on the study guides, and he drops one exam. If you cram the day 'of', for a few hrs and attend ALL his lectures, U'll do ok. If you put more effort in, you'll do much better. He's very kind, but not a pushover. You will need the book for def concepts. Use a quizlet to memorize the test.

He's a great professor! If you need this class for a GE requirement, this is a great pick. No homework, one easy but useful assignment , three tests, and a final. If you go to class, you'll pass.

Easy class! Never used the book. Just print his powerpoints, take notes from his lectures, do the study guides. He's really nice and usually won't say anything if you leave earlycome late, or use your phonelaptop but too many people take advantage, so be respectful. I loved Political Science 100 with Professor Eperjesi; he is straightforward and concise, and I would take him again. He gives 3 tests, but drops one; plus, there is a final. Literally, the lecture notes is all you need to pass his class. Also, he is a beautiful man inside and out. He is the most handsome man that I have ever seen.

If you show up, have your powerpoints printed, and study well, you will pass the class. I passed with a C, but that is only because the topic of the class is not my strong point. Straight forward class.

This class was so easy but let me tell you why. I would say I attended about 20% of classes and passed with flying colors because all his test are based on lecture notes. Every question on the test is in your study guide. Mesmerize the study guide and your good to go! Awesome part is all the study guides are filled out beautifully on quizlet!

Very straight forward class. Three tests- worst grade dropped, one final, and one paper. No homework. Just print out the slides, come to every class and get the information. I didn't open either book once the entire semester. Prof is a nice guy with a calm demeanor. He sways a little to the right, but it doesn't get in the way of class.

Best professor I've ever had!!! Highly recommend taking his class. He's really helpful and does a good job at explaining everything and helping you understand. There are four exams, and the final. Don't worry if you did poorly on the first test. He'll drop the lowest score.

He's very organized, a quick grader, and just an over all sweet man that wants his students to succeeded. The three tests are LITERALLY word for word the study guide and all of the answers are in the notes. If anyone passes with anything other than an A, they weren't trying. He's conservative but very tolerant to other views. And he's handsome!

Three tests where he drops one of your lowest scores, one paper which is two pages max, and a final exam. He gives out study guides which detail everything that will be on the exams. The only way people would do bad in this class is if you don't even look at the study guide to answer the questions

I am currently taking Professor Eperjesi. We only take 4 test which come with a straight forward study guide and 1 paper which is only 4 pages. His class is easy but his lectures are really boring. Just do the study guides for the exam and you will pass.

3 exams & 1 final. Drops the lowest exam score. A 4 page objective paper on a current political issue. No textbook. He provides study guide & questions on it corresponds to exams. Also, your choice to print out his PP slides & take notes on that. A few students chose to write on their own as he lectured. Either way an easy A if you show up & study.

There is a good amount of work to study for 3 tests and a final at the end. There is a research paper, which is about right but easy when he explained it. He is fairly nice person himself. The only worst part is there is no extra credit. However, the professor drops the lowest test score before finals.

Prof. Eperjesi is such a sweet guy. I loved being in his class. It's really simple. You just sit and take notes from a powerpoint the whole time. Some people really can't stand that kind of lecture, but I honestly enjoyed it. Eperjesi was willing to listen to anything the students had to say regarding the political topics.

I wasn't too excited to take this course, but I enjoyed it. Even though the course was an overview to politics, it helped me to really understand how politics work and it's b/c he explained so simply instead of trying to use "big" words which could be more confusing.

Easy A, and clear grading criteria. two easy writing assignments, three exams (with only two counted) and a final exam, all of which are on scantrons. bring your laptop/tablet to fill in the powerpoint or print them out. his political views are not my cup of tea though.

Professor Eperjesi is a great teacher! 4 tests with 4 study guides (STUDY these! It's basically the test!) He drops your worse grade from these 4 tests. He also assigns two easy essays. Do the work, study and you will get an A. He is very respectful, as well, and makes the lectures easy to understand.

Students take advantage on his class because of the break time last longer than other class ever (30 min). Lectures are posted on Canvas for students to print out and it's not hard to memorize them. He's able to answer all questions/issues you ask without saying which side is right or wrong.

The class consists of three multiple choice exams (one he drops), a final exam and two short essays. He gives study guides for the tests and you can find the answers on Quizlet. He takes attendance everyday, and it counts towards grade. He's very fair and objective in his lectures and is open to debate. Enjoyed his class and his lectures!

Pros: No HW, you'll have 2 papers tho. provides study guide(almost the same like a test). Solid choice to complete GE requirement. Cons: His exams were EXTREMELY tricky, you just gotta remember words by words. if you are missing one word, you will get wrong answer. On the test, he will test you based on your memorization/wording not the concept.

Taking this class with Prof E. was great! He's unbiased about current political affairs and will give you the pros and cons of what's currently going on. He is lecture heavy, but no book necessary since the tests are all based on his PPT slides. PRINT OUT THE SLIDES OR TAKE YOUR LAPTOP!! Your hand WILL cramp up if you try to take notes long-hand!!

If you guys haven't had the chance for an easy class, this is the professor you should choose. Prof Eperjesi has by far the easiest assignments which is the study guide. Basically the test is almost exactly like the study guide and you get to nail all of em. No hw! Just memorize the study guide like its a song. Prof Eperjesi is political.

Hes my all time favorite professor!! During this crazy pandemic he was the only professor that I had that took the time and energy out of his day To lecture his students! This showed us student he truly cares about his students education and how passionate he is with his job! Study the study guide and youll pass the test!

Professor Eperjesi is a real great teacher. Political Science is a hard course but this professor will help you in any way he can to help you succeed. He cares about his students! Tests are a little tough so make sure you study really well and you will do great!

As a person who doesn't really care for politics due to how complicated it is for me, I was really glad I picked this professor, they really made sure to stay neutral whenever current events came to play; it was overall a government class. Subject aside however, I really liked them and how cool they were; overall it was a chill class :)

If you really want to learn about politics take this class! I would highly recommend taking it in the summer due to the fact that everything is sped up and you only do minimum work. Professor made political science understandable and explained pretty good. If you want to learn political science. He's the professor to go to. I would take his class again, really interesting and can take a lot from this class.

The class consists of using lecture slides and filling in notes. Our major assignments included summarizing news sources of our choice. Exams and quizzes are timed. He does try his best to remain unbiased but he may lean conservative. Overall, take him if that wont get in the way for you because his criteria is organized and straightforward

Professor Eperjesi is a excellent professor. Exams are exactly what is on the study guide. You just copy down the powerpoint slides, and all the answers for the study guide are in the notes. Read over the study guide a few times, bam easy A. There is some projects and a paper, but they're very easy to do. Criteria is clear and grades based on that.

Study the study guide and you'll be fine for the exams. Few papers. He is really good at explaining and answering questions in his lecture. He is really nice and straight forward.

Professor Eperjesi, is a fair Professor. His lectures are long, but are fundamental for the quizzes and tests that he gives out. His grading is understandable and most of the times really easy. Participation really matters as the workload relies heavy on knowing what you are reading. Overall, he is a caring Professor and will not hesitate to help.

I'm not so interested in politics but Prof. Eperjesi made this class very fun. His lectures are very straightforward, as he'll go into clear explanations about topics like elections and policies. For assignments, there are only 3 simple writing assignments and 4 exams that are exactly like the study guides he gives out. Great teacher overall.

Please take Professor Eperjesi! He is such a caring and understanding professor! There are a total of 4 exams (3 midterms and one final exam) and 3 easy papers for the entire semester. His exams are based off of the lecture slides, so make sure to take notes when you attend class. I genuinely enjoyed being in his class this semester!

Simple. Listen to lectures, do the study guides which is almost word for word on the tests. A couple of reading assignments but it is easy. I never used the book.

His grading/ syllabus is clear & straightforward. Offers extra credit on writing assignments if you put in effort. I liked him as a professor, idk why others on here complain. He does just read off slides (may sound a little monotone at times) but you print out partial slides before class and fill them in during his lecture. Easy, I recommend him!

Zoom classes are only for lectures. Sometimes class goes overtime because of the amount of material we need to learn, but basically, everything feels self-taught if you really want to understand. Overall, our assignments are writing assignments and he's strict on grammar and spelling. You need to hit all the points he asks for on the rubric.

He's very kind and straightforward! For class, all you need to do is have his partial notes out and fill them in while he lectures. He does have a few writing assignments, but it's honestly very easy. The test questions are also taken almost directly from the slides, so as long as you attend the lectures and study the slides, you're good to go!

I thought Professor Eperjesi was a great professor. The lectures in class were follow alongs with the notes that he gave us. Even though the lectures may seem boring, they all were easy to follow. Professor Eperjesi in my opinion remained pretty unbiased when it came to teaching. The class was an easy A.

He's very vocal about his conservative views but is otherwise an amazing professor. Some people go into teaching for the money and others because they truly like their profession and Prof. Eperjesi is the latter. Two assignments, two discussion posts, 4 tests. Would highly recommend. I wish I could have him teach every poli-sci class!

He's a great professor, as long as you put in effort (the work itself is super easy and minimal to begin with), he hands out extra credit points like candy. He didn't get too deep into his political views during the semester, and I found his dry humor very charming.

He has 3 exams & he drops the lowest test score of the 3 (not including the final exam). We had 3 discussions & he's a pretty easy grader. He's very opinionated but an overall pretty good teacher. Attendance is mandatory & don't waste ur money on the textbooks I didn't use a single one & still did well. Write down everything he puts on the screen!!

It's an easy class, you will have to take lots of notes for the purpose of filling out the study guides, but if you know the study guides then you know the test.(not to mention he drops the lowest test score) There are some super easy hw assignment that is worth big point, don't slack on em. Cool guy, makes funny jokes about the left's nonsense.

The lectures can be very fast paced but Prof Eperjesi explains all the material very well even though we only met once a week. It also helps that his sense of humor is amazing! Makes the lectures fun to sit through. The exams are pretty easy with all the questions being exactly like the study guide.

It was a pretty easy class, the lecture was easy there is a lot of writing and papers but it is pretty easy to write about. Do not be afraid to ask questions and honestly take this class it is very helpful, and easy grade

This class was an easy A. He is very punctual for the online classes but lenient & understanding if you're ever tardy. Minimal & easy assignments, open book/open note exams so it's a breeze. Honestly, I highly recommend taking his classes. He is extremely respectful & will happily clarify any questions/confusion at any time!

Very nice professor and a great teacher, I took him over the summer and it was a very easy class you just have to sit through the zoom and do the work which is only 4 assignments 3 of which are discussions and 3 tests (1 dropped) and a final.

Prof. Eperjesi makes the lectures fun with his great sense of humor. The workload is manageable, and Unstuckstudy was super helpful for acing the exams. Definitely take this class if you can!

Easy class, just attend , do the study guides and you will pass with an A. He is very nice and funny.

This professor and I disagreed a lot politically. However, he does not force others to listen to his opinions like some say he does. I had lots of questions, and he always thoughtfully and constructively explained how the gov't works even after class. You need to actually study to learn in any class, stop complaining! Do your work! Sweet old man.

Was biased based on his own opinions but as long as you did the study guides and assessments you should be able to pass.
