He's a funny guy, and a good teacher. The information is not difficult, but the tests are worded in a confusing way. PAY ATTENTION FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END!

I took this class because I had to and came out loving this man. I plan on taking all his classes and I'm not a sociology major. He is so funny and teaches in a way I could understand. I didn't even open the book and got an A. Please take him you won't regret it.

Dr. Felton is a very good teacher. I am a slow learner and it is hard to keep my attention. He held my attention 100% of the time. I got a perfect grade for the whole course. Hard to do but fun for me. Thanks!!! Dr. Felton

I really enjoyed the class.

I never realized how much I would enjoy Sociology, but after attending Sociology 101 I realized how interesting the subject is. Therefor, I enrolled in two more of Mr. Felton's classes. He makes the subject fun and easy to understand. :D

This was a very fun class. Mr. Felton is fun and energetic, and it shows in the way that he teaches. I wish that all professors could be this fun, even if his jokes are not always funny...ha ha, just kidding. Dr. Felton is an amazing teacher, and uses only material that is relevant to his class. He does not have his students over-reading material that is irrelevant to what we need to know, and he is quick to answer questions. He is also my academic adviser, and he helped me significantly with guiding me down the right path to get my degree.

This is probably one of the best college classes I've ever taken. Dr. Felton is a delightful professor and he really got me interested in the material. I would reccomend this class for everyone who goes to HCC.

I absolutely loved Dr.Felton! The class was fun, but a little tougher than I expected, oh and the book doesn't get used until the finals. I learned a LOT in this class! Wish I was taking him for another class next semester, unfortunately I took him for two classes this past semester leaving me without that option.

I had fun in this class! We cut up at times, we freely talked and asked questions, and Dr.Felton had a few of his stories to add to the learning about families :) ! He's a great teacher! His tests are tough though, so you really have to study for them. Other than that, great teacher!

His class was so EASY! I didn't even buy the book. The notes he gives in lecture are word for word the questions on the tests. Got a 95% or higher on every one of his tests and he made the class interesting while adding a few personal stories. Great teacher. Truly cares about his students!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

One of the most fun professors a student could have for a class!

I took Mr. Felton's Sociology 101 class online. It was one of my first online classes and I wasn't sure online classes were right for me and I was afraid I wouldn't learn much. Mr. Felton's lectures were so intresting and covered the material so well! I learned so much and would definately take him again, next time probably in class!

I didn't think I would like sociology as I am a science major. After taking Dr. Felton, I have been considering changing my major to sociology. He made me see the world in a different way. He is simply the most interesting teacher I have every had.
