He is a nice guy. You might say he is teacher cute. If you get him you will know what I mean. One thing I like about him is that he always lets the class out early. He is also very cool. He is a lot of fun to have as a teacher!

His classes are informal. Open discussion is encouraged. He is clear and informative and welcomes classes opinons. It also helps that he is easy on the eyes.

His classes are short and sweet. His assignments are long and educational. Yeah. He's cute and funny and makes the class fun and exciting. Random people have just walked in to see what all the excitment was about. He loves 18th Century British Literature and is never mean.

Very good teacher. Hope I can have him again. Makes class enjoyable, while still keeps a seriousness about it. Classes are always short, but its not wasted time. Learned alot about writing. To much about 18th Century British Literature though:)

I HATED English. Until class with Kevin (yes you call him by his 1st name). The nicest teacher that I have ever had I enjoyed his Eng 1 class so much that I took Eng 2 with him. He talks to you like a real person, never makes you feel stupid for asking a question and if you have any problem you can go talk to him. By far the best Eng teacher EVER!!

Kevin is the coolest teacher ever! He makes English so interesting, I had him for both ENC1101 and ENC1102. He will help you so much in your writing. You can tell he is passionate about what he does! He loves poetry.He is Awesome and cute too!!!

I hated English class in high school. I had no clue about any of the teachers and luckily ended up with him!!! Very nice guy, really wants people to do well. I've recommended him to several people.

He's not hot! He's also not clear many times in his requests on assignments. He's very unorganized but present for every class. He does take the time to help you if you need it which is great!

He is a great teacher who is passionate about what he is teaching. The only problem I had was that I was not quite sure what exactly he wanted in his papers. I loved the in class discussions because that is the only way I understood poetry. The only hard part was writing the papers.

Kevin was a really great teacher. I took him for both Eng 1 and 2. I got A'a in both classes. We pretty much talk the whole class time but he teaches you the entire time. He is also very very easy on the eyes. ;-)

Professor Jordan was a good teacher overall. Concentrates mostly on analyzing poems, plays, and novels (not fun at all). There were a lot of papers assigned and he never handed them back until the semester was almost over. He's a pretty good teacher, just be prepared to write and discuss a lot in class

I was worried about taking this teacher because of the negative comments. I am glad I did, he is a little tough, but it isn't impossible to do well. There are a lot of assignments, but he gives you the chance to re do them if you fail. There are journal entries to do, but they are easy, and only a page. All in all he is a fair teacher.

GREAT teacher- would take him again- he's a lot of fun- though we do use the textbook alot and have to write a little bit- but that's what school is for!! great teacher- would def. recommend.

i had him as a teacher at the oviedo campus almost two years ago and he was so ridiculously hot he almost kept me from not attending class! alas, laziness overcame and i stopped going to his class late in the semester. he was kind enough to withdraw me instead of failing me. thanks, kevin!

He knows the material and knows how to teach! However, he did not grade any of the assignments until almost the end of the semester which made it difficult to know where you where in regards to writing mistakes and grades. I like to know about any writing mistakes so that I don't continue to make them. After all we are here to learn.

Professor Jordan was an awsome very hip professor made the class very interesting and really got into his lectures. dont get on his bad side and you will be just fine because he is a very easy going person, Great teacher took him for english I and II.

Professor Jordan is fairly helpful and real laid back. Work load isn't hard, but you also don't get a great deal out of the class. On the whole a decent professor, but I didn't leave class thinking it was incredible.

This was an absolutly amazing class. He is a great teacher that makes all the assignments fun, and gives you plenty of time to complete all the writing assignments. He hands back papers late but honestly so what, you'd have to be stupid not to pass his class. He keeps the class fun with his discussions and is very witty,he's just a great teacher

This professor is great!! Hes laid back and wouldnt care if i was late. Just turn in your assignments and youll know your grade by the end of semester. I got a A but i didnt really know the grades for each assignment. Just the final grade.! Other then that he was cool and easy class to pass!

He is pretty lenient. He is a great teacher and very helpful with any questions. He keeps the discussion in the classroom fun and he is very witty. I don't enjoy English but if I have to take an English class again I would definately take him.

This is by far the best professor SCC has to offer. He has modivated me beyond any other professor. He pushes students to exceed their limits. While he expects you to do his best, he makes learning fun. He is a total comendian as every class is filled with sarcasm. I took him for English 1 & 2, and would love to take him again.

Prof Jordan is an outstanding professor who is extremly helpful and passionate about what he teaches. English 2 can be a potentially boring class but professor Jordan made is fun and kept everyone laughing while still learning. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone and would take again for any other class!

Great teacher! One of my favorites so far. He is very laid-back and witty, making it a comfortable and welcoming environment. He is fairly lenient in grading, making for an easy A as long as you do all of the homework. There are quite a few papers to write, but it is indeed an English class, and it's to be expected.

As an immigrant student English has always been a challenge for me.when I started his class I was a bit nervous but he made it so essay and he help the class so much. His explanations are clear and he makes sure we understand the concept completely. I love this Professor I even register for Eng 2 with him... Take his class you wont regret it.

Amazing class. I learned so much. But you have to do some work...this is college. I took this class in the summer so we went a little fast but i enjoyed it. He's funny, laid-back, and very helpful.

I loved this professor! I enjoyed going to his class and you can tell he really loves what he does and the subject. However, he has no mercy on you if you miss a class for ANY reason. I missed a pop quiz b/c i was sick. Despite a doctor's note, he still wouldn't let me take the quiz. but I would take him again. Very fun guy.

Professor Jordan made a boring class fun and a joy to attend because of his humor and sarcasm. Very clear on what he's looking for and grades fairly. Papers didn't come back right away, but he took the time to make comments so it wasn't a big deal. Looking forward to taking him again for ENC 1102.

VERY FUNNY AND SARCASTIC. ENJOYABLE TEACHING. HE TEACHES IDEAS/PHILOSOPHIES THAT ARE NOT EASILY UNDERSTOOD AND THAT MADE THE CLASS CHALLENGING. VERY VAGUE ON HOW HE WANTS PAPERS WRITTEN. FEEDBACK IS VAGUE AS WELL. YOU MUST BE A GOOD WRITER TO PASS THE CLASS. IF NOT, DON'T FEEL TOO BAD ABOUT A POTENTIAL "B".

Jordan was an interesting professor overall. Honors English was a challenge yes, but that's why its honors level. All the work assigned matched the subject material discussed in class. I would take him again, he's cool

Excellent professor in class! He made everything fun and interesting. However, the assignments are sometimes vague, and he's a slow grader. That being said, I absolutely recommend taking him if want to actually understand literature and have an enjoyable course!

Great teacher. Extremely educated and intelligent. Took the 8am class so not very active, I don't recommend it if you're a sleeper like I am. Work is clear. about 5-7 Essays total. Work is easy. He explains things very well. Young so he knows how to make relatable jokes. Overall I would take him again, English isn't cake but he's probably the best.

Great Professor. I took his Enc 1101 and 1102 classes. He is nice and helpful and grades fairly. I am glad I took his classes. Everything is spelled out in his syllabus. He is young and relates to the students well.

This class was extremely fun. Professor Jordan is one of my favorites this far and I've taken several English and lit classes. All of the material we read is available for free online. You don't need to physically buy a book but you will definitely need to have printed copies of the works or an e-reader to use in class.

Kevin is pretty funny which makes class more interesting and not so much of a chore. He is very understanding and easy to talk to, welcomes questions even if he already went over it, and he gives detailed lectures and makes it clear what is expected. Grades fairly. You have to actually do what is assigned to pass... but that's a given lol

Kevin is super cool i got switched out of class and knew i wanted him! He draws pictures and keeps me awake. Even though a lot of reading is necessary he goes over everything you need to know in detail. Very little assignments most are very easy just a big research and explication paper that get annoying. Overall an awesome class, would recommend!

Professor Jordan is one of my favorite professors ever! He has an amazing personality and was so much fun to work with. He is very down to earth and easy to talk to. You can ask how ever many questions you need to and whenever, he will reply to your emails the same day. He goes over things in class. Awesome awesome guy. Would take him again 10x

I wish I had taken him for English 1. Everyone laughed in the class most of the time because he is so hilarious, adding the fact that half of my classmates are funny themselves. He draws pictures on board to help us understand stories and poems. You have to write a few papers and an easy presentation. Just step up, say something and you'll get an A

Kevin is a really unique guy which made the class even better! He's a younger professor and he's really funny and fun to listen to. The class itself is also pretty easy, you just have to put in the effort! Take him!

Prof. Kevin, is hilarious and this class is really fun, the work is not hard as long as you show up and actually try. The research papers are really not that hard and can be pretty fun. Take this professor for ENC 1101 and ENC 1102. I look forward to taking him again in British Literature 2.

Professor Jordan has been one of my favorite teachers yet. He is real down to Earth and definitely enjoys what he does. He believes there is no true answer to a story so all your papers are based on your opinion. As long as your argument is somewhat supportable, you ill receive a good grade. It's an easy A as long as you put in some effort.

Great sense of humor, I had a 9AM class with him and most of the time the class was half asleep however he kept it entertaining. He does do short easy quizzes after the reading is assigned so make sure you do the reading! He "dumbs down" the more complex reading to make sure everybody understands. Only 2 major papers which are super easy.

Great teacher. His classes were super funny; I found my self laughing during lessons most every day. He knows that the work load sucks, but sticks to deadlines. So long as you actually do the work and show up to class, there shouldn't be a problem. He only got truly irritated twice (I took summer a session) Definitely taking ENC2 with him.

Excellent professor! His class was the only class that I actually looked forward to. Definitely make sure that you do all of the readings and that you are timely with your papers. His class is great and I honestly have no complaints!

rlly enjoyed having Kevin, he was so helpful and always engaged with us as a class. individually he wrote me a letter of rec and always answered my canvass messages within a day

Honestly I am not the best writer but I still passes with an A. Just show up to class, engage in class, and do your work. Also if you have any question go to his office hours, he guided me and that helped my writing

It's my first semester in college and I really enjoyed him as a professor! Assignments were very clear, he graded fairly and let you know what you could do to improve (+ encouraging!). Wish I could have him as a professor for english again. Also if you have a job, the workload is fairly easy to work with. :)

This man is an absolute gigachad. He was very clear on things you could improve and understood that students have lives. I took his class in the summer bridge program and he made it actually doable. I would recommend Dr. Jordan to anyone.
