AWESOME GUY!

Interesting prof. who has a lot of business insight. Amazingly helpful to anyone who didn't understand the material. The tests are easy if you practice the problems a lot before hand for speed. If not, you won't finish them. I wish he was teaching more classes at LUC because he's a great professor. Highly recommend taking him.

Very good teacher.He really wants his students to understand the material and he goes out of his way to help us. If you do the reading, attend class, and practice the problems he assigns whether its online or from the book, you should be fine. It's not a difficult class. Overall, a great professor.

Kevin Lee is freaking awesome. Its because of him I am an accounting major. He makes his class easy, yet if you want to dig a lot deeper he has so much more knowledge. The fact he isnt just a professor and actually knows where we are going to use this is awesome. Take him for sure, whether you like accounting or not

He's a great teacher. You learn a lot in that class, including stuff that relates to the real world. You need to study for the tests but he allows you to drop one of the 4 so it isn't that hard to get a good grade.

This guy is my hero not only because he is a really great teacher who comes in on sundays to help review for the tests, but because the guy lives the dream. He has a ton of real world experience so you get a better grasp on how this applies in the real world. Basically go to most classes, do the homework and study you will be golden. TAKE HIM!!!!

Really smart and helpful professor. He tries to bring in some fun while we learn about accounting. Exams are not that hard since he gives us older versions to study from, prior to taking the exams. He goes over any problem your want during class. Very easy to talk to. The final was not bad. I would take him again!

Professor Lee is probably the BEST professor I have ever taken at loyola.I love this man. He is extremely helpful and relates everything to real life situations. He is unbelievably hot, too :)

He is a really good teacher, really nice. All the hw is online and can be hard but you can check your answers before you turn it in, he also gives practice tests if you ask him for them.

Kevin Lee is a great professor. I really enjoyed this class. He uses great real life examples that help make the hard material easy to understand. If you have the opportunity to take a class with Professor Lee, do it! The final was 3 hours and required a lot of brain power, but wasn't too hard.

Very Helpful. Accounting isn't a joke even at the lowest levels, but this Prof. Made it seem like it is easy. I failed my second tests but did well on the other three and a final and still ended up with an A. Very understanding and is eager to help students. I wish I could get all my professors like HIM.would recommend for any student.

This prof comes from real life not an academic. Provides very good examples during lectures. The only problem is that it seems he has too much on his plate sometimes. Overall take his class

While Attendance is not "mandatory" it counts for 5% of your grade. And you learn a lot from class discussion. He is just a great teacher! He teaches in a way that makes it super clear and kind of fun. If you dread taking accounting, TAKE HIM. You won't regret it. Easy to get an A, but you have to put in effort, obviously.

One of the best professors I've had at LUC thus far. He has tons of real-world experience that makes the class exciting. Makes accounting seem like an awesome profession to go into, even if you're not studying it. He's clear in lecture and tests/grading are very fair. You won't want to miss class- it's exciting! Tip- do ALL the online work.

So glad I took this course. He's one of those professors where if you show up and put some effort into the class, you'll get a good grade. Also has a ton of real world experience and frequently uses examples from his life. The guy's got a pretty good sense of humor. Take him!

I loved his class. I am in no way an accounting major but he made our 2 1/2 hour class good to sit through. He would lecture for the first part and do problems with you to make sure that you understood it the 2nd half. If you do your homework and go to class all will be good in the world. Overall he is just a great guy.

Kevin Lee is unmatched when it comes to practical applications of managerial accounting. He is experienced, he knows his stuff and he will teach you how it REALLY works. If you're a formula junkie, or math addict, he's not the professor for you. He downplays the math. His tests are on the material he teaches, no surprises.

Best professor I've had so far. He has a successful business career and teaches because apparently he likes is a lot. I had never been able to learn accounting until I took his class. It is a lot of work, but totally worth it. He is dynamic and three hour classes fly by.

Prof. Kevin Lee is great. I was going through some things & wasn't keeping up with the lectures or readings & let him know I wasn't prepared for the 1st Exam & he let me study over the wknd. I got a C & was disappointed but he still ENCOURAGED me! The next test was a B, then an A! Final grade a B+! I believe the encouragement made a big difference!

I received a B+ in Lee class which was pretty good since I only attended his class around once a week. The homework is online and due every friday and you get unlimited attempts for each question so its an easy 100%. The tests were decent but the final screwed me over since it was all multiple choice (I preferred the free response section)

Kevin Lee is by far my favorite professor on campus! Went to his office hours all the time and was always willing to help! I can talk to him about anything, even if it's not related to accounting. The material is hard, but he won't teach you anything he hasn't seen in the real world. I am in his 202 class now and loving it!

Very clear on what he wants you to know, offers the ability to correct your test. He actually know's what he's talking about in regards to accounting. I learned a lot, would definitely take him again.

I took accounting 201, 202, and 301 with Kevin Lee and he is the best professor I have ever had. Very clear on what is on test and what to study. 201 and 202 have homework online, it's easy but there is a lot of it. 303 had 3 exams online and 1 in class. Great teacher and hilarious too. Would highly highly recommend.

He is super clear about what will be on tests. Very willing to answer questions. Accounting was tough for me but he made my experience a little better. Take him!

He is a wonderful professor. Not only does he teach you the required knowledge, but he also shares his experiences and wisdom with you. I love that he brought real world examples into tougher accounting principles. I definitely recommend him.

Lee is the coolest professor ever. He turned me from hating accounting to changing it to my major! He makes everything easy to grasp and his tests are no surprise if you study the worksheets. FUNNY & has real business experience so he only teaches you real life examples.

This professor is very busy with his other job, that it can sometimes interfere with the job he has as a professor. But it is still evident that he cares about his students succeeding and will help his students out with incentives to do better and even an extra test.

Awesome guy and professor. Accounting bores me but this guy can make it interesting. Has a very colorful vocabulary and fun stories that he always relates to class.

Experienced my first accounting class with this professor with no background knowledge and left with a great experience and a lot of knowledge. A very nice professor who is happy to answer questions. Frequently includes jokes into his lectures, making them very interesting and understandable. Definitely recommend him. Would take again.

Professor Lee is an excellent professor. He brings relevant outside experience to every class, and offers insight into accounting and business that most teachers do not. If you have the chance to take him, do.

Prof. Lee is a fantastic teacher with a ton of real world experience. He teaches his students principles of accounting that real businessmen use. He's hilarious, too. Fantastic man, sometimes his business gets in the way of his school life, but you can always find him in his office during his hours and he'll be more than happy to help.

Kevin Lee is the best. A must take for accounting. There is long homework for each chapter but the homework is what helps make you learn the material better and gives you clear indication of what you need to get help and/or work on more. Class is always entertaining and we do a lot of in class problems that are on the test together as a class.

My favorite professor at Loyola. Kevin Lee is absolutely the best one ever. I took his 201 my freshman year, waited for one semester just to get into his 202. However,He moves on from chapter to chapter really quickly, but he is willing to answer any question you have. He is very successful in his career.

Favorite professor at Loyola thus far. Cares so much about his students- I had health issues and he helped me out without blinking. I also never cared about acct, but he makes it applicable for all fields. If you come to class, learn the in-class problems, and study the homework, it's an easy A. He's a pro at what he does, and he knows it, too.

Kevin lees an ok guy... One misleading thing about him, he pretends to be your friend but he's got his own agenda. He collects data for his business and talks a good game but after 20 years in the business, he's barely made it to a mid level executive.

Professor Lee was a great professor. He really cares about his students and is always ready to help. He's a really funny guy and makes lectures interesting because he is in the field that he teaches. Teaches you what you need to know for his exams. Tests are not hard as long as you understand the content.

This was a hard class. Don't be prepared to get an easy A. Kevin Lee is awesome, but hard. He is a great lecturer and tells you mostly what will be on his tests, but he always throws in a problem that you've never done before in class. He's awesome and I highly recommend, but take this class when you have a lighter class schedule.

Lee is awesome. So glad I was able to take him. Tests aren't bad if you actually do all the homework and make a point of learning the material. Accounting is a difficult subject, so it won't come super easy for some, but Lee is the best one to take for 201 hands down. Lectures are fun and interesting too

Kevin Lee is by far the greatest college professor I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He manages to make the boring topic of intro to accounting interesting and actually kind of exciting. I look forward to every class because he brings real world experience and applicable knowledge to the classroom. KEVIN IS THE BEST.

Amazing professor! Actually makes the topic interesting. Class is pretty easy if you actually do homework and pay attention. Homework isn't bad, but be prepared to spend a few hours on them. If you need help, make sure to go to office hours because he is always willing to help and overall great person to talk to.

Kevin Lee is an amazing, amazing guy. TAKE HIM FOR ACCT 201. His lectures are amazing, and clear. Tests are pretty easy if you do the homework, and the worksheets from class. HE TAKES PROBLEMS FROM THOSE AND PUTS THEM ON THE EXAMS!. He is a very nice guy and has a lot of experience in the business world. Only downside is he's a really busy guy!.

Hands down best professor at Loyola, hilarious and super knowledgeable. Makes the class engaging and important even if you aren't a business major. Reviews a ton for the exams, super easy and fun class if you show up and pay attention

Klee is the man! 110% recommend. He really brings life to accounting and makes it enjoyable. He flushes out the concepts and problems with his real world business experience which is a huge plus. His lectures are entertaining, even with a relatively dry subject. Take him!

I wish I took this professor for my ACCT 201, he is very knowledgable & makes class fun ! Professor Lee cares about his students, sends out several emails with internship opportunities & gives great career/future advice. Yes, there is a lot of homework but its very helpful & you get unlimited attempts at getting the right answer.

Actually works in the field, so all info taught is relevant and real-world applicable. AMAZING lectures, engaging, you learn a lot. Can be fast paced but very helpful when approached. Moderate level of difficulty but can be handled. Funny, sarcastic, understanding, super chill. You have to work for a good grade but it is not that hard.

I took him for 201.. good background, suggest auditing his course and not major in business.. & get an MBA. Took some courses online and was practical just like professors at better universities. His lectures are the breadth of street smarts and least books... For example, for valuations, I crossed and realized when to get out of the market.. etc.

ABSOLUTELY by far the best professor I've ever had in my life. Has made an effort to get to know me and knows a lot about what he talks about (he works as a business executive while teaching at Loyola). Always answers questions and available a lot. Taking him next semester for 202 and you should take him no matter what for either course.

Prof. Lee is a great guy and an even better professor. He has an outside job and teaches for fun. Because of this, he relates a lot of the material learned in class to the real world, which is super helpful. Accounting is a tough subject so having a good prof. really helps. Great professor! I had no accounting background coming into this class but he made it easy to understand. He doesn't lecture from powerpoint often. Once the chapter is introduced he does practice problems with the class and is so kind about answering questions. Exams are a mix of multiple choice and free response. By far one of the best professors in the school of business, and probably Loyola. Klee is incredibly knowledgeable about the business world and is super connected, so you should get to know him. Show up to class because the in-class practice is pretty much what the exams are on. This class isn't easy but you'll do fine if you put in some effort.

I expressed an interest to go to Kellogg during my studies at Loyola; Transferred, couldn't be happier. I still remember his encouraging words and his physical mechanisms that I've adapted to as a continuing business student / cs major. His composed, dynamic, dense presence drives me harder everyday to study harder, more efficiently, and smarter.

I absolutely love Professor Lee! He is amazing at teaching a dry, boring subject like Accounting. His class is comprised of online connect hw and exams in class. He is very much invested in helping you learn and is always going over examples in class to help you on the exams. Lee is the best! Take him!

He's actually right on the button when he lectures about people being ignorant. Most likely, if someone talks about how they have a lot of money, chances are that they don't have that much. Their probably living off of credit and in debt. The most helpful lecture of his was when he talked about his neighbor losing his house. Be kind and ruthless.

Prof Lee is a great guy inside and outside of the classroom. The idea of accounting was so scary to me but he really knows how to explain concepts and ideas into things we could all understand. He is amazing at lecturing and is very helpful when you have questions.

Very knowledgeable guy and a great teacher. Makes accounting fun which is hard to do. Is very accessible outside class. Tests are really hard. This class has required the most time and effort of any class I have taken thus far in college. Id recommend him but he is a lot work.

Really nice guy and good professor. You just have to spend time on the material outside of class (which I didn't do) and the class should be a breeze. Great lectures and tells you what he's looking for on exams. Gives practice problems beforehand. My only issue would be that he didn't really follow the syllabus points-wise, but no big deal

He was honestly one of the best professors I have had at loyola. You can tell he cares about his students and his job. If you ever have any questions or need help he is willing to do so. He makes lectures actually enjoyable to listen to and learn. Would 100% take him again. you have to put in the work but he makes things understandable.

Professor Lee came off as a bit intimating and show-offish when I first started the course. However, he's really become much more relaxed as the course has progressed. An online system is used for coursework that comprises of homework quizzes and tests. Tests were proctored, and grades weren't updated on a regular basis but great professor overall!

This class is difficult , yet very doable(to pass). Do all the homework (unlimited tries), do well on quizzes . Tests are proctored. If you get 100% on HW (20% of grade), just need 40%+ on tests to end w/ a B. Doing the project/paper on time is a free 100%. He bumps you up a letter grade at the end too! Do this class if accounting isnt your thing.

He is straight up with his students and tells you what is expected in order to do well in his courses. Never throws any curveballs on exams, always uses examples from real-life which help you understand the material easier. Wish I could take him for the upper-level accounting courses.

Taking him for 202- its hard subject but he really is good at the subject and teaching it to students. No surprises and he really uses time well. Lots of real experience and the homework and quizzes are good at preparing you for his tests. Do not get behind- you need the building blocks in the beginning- he is very honest with his standards

Kevin Lee is a good teacher, but get one of his earlier classes because he tends to go fast in his later ones. I took it in person, but he recorded the lectures and posts it later. If you follow the examples he does in class then you should be fine for exams and quizzes. Homework is worth a lot!

One of the best professors at Loyola. Very straightforward and caring for his students. Taking him again for next semester. You actually learn in his class and it sticks with you which is great. You do need to study, but he helps you through it. 10 out of 10!

Lee knows what he is talking about and the class is planned amazingly. Makes the concepts easy to understand, but be prepared to work hard especially at the beginning of the semester. Highly recommend for 201.

Prof Lee's course was a perfect introduction to accounting. His thought process is clear and easy to follow, and the curriculum is set to help you succeed in his class. Although this course is quiz and homework-heavy, in the end, it pushes you to successfully progress through the class.

Take Prof Lee! One of the best profs I've ever had. Weekly homework and a quiz, 3 exams, and a final. Exams are proctored online and are similar to quizzes and homework. Go to his office hours, go to class, and put effort in and you'll be fine. He's encouraging and very insightful, definitely recommend.

If you're willing to put in a little work, you'll do just fine. Professor Lee is very knowledgable and makes his lectures engaging. The 202 project isn't horrible as long as you don't procrastinate too much. 201 with him was better, but I'd still recommend him all-around.

Took him for 201 and made sure I absolutely took him for 202. Hands down one of the best professors at Loyola. Go to class because accounting is hard but Klee makes it very bearable as long as you show up and pay attention. I took Prof. Lee for 201 and now 202! He truly is an amazing prof. and a very knowledgeable person. ACCT is hard but he makes it easy to understand. Get ready to put in work. There is weekly hw, 3 exams + final, and the project + paper. He will answer any questions you have! I would HIGHLY recommend him, wish I could take more of his classes!

AMAZING professor for any accounting class (taken for 201 and 202). Has great experience with working for and with other companies and he applies it to concepts in class. Very funny guy too and actually made accounting fun and interesting to learn about. Truly cares about his students in and out of the classroom and their future success. TAKE HIM!!

Very test and quiz heavy. There is weekly homework and weekly quizzes. And many exams. You also have to watch lecture videos before every class in your own time.

Accounting is very difficult for me, but Prof Lee makes it manageable. I can tell he knows what he's talking about and actually cares about his students and WANTS to see them succeed. Tests are all online and you get a few days to do it. Homework is due every Sunday on Connect and his recorded zoom lectures help so much. I recommend him!!!!

The best professor at loyola by far. Kevin really values his students time and makes sure everyone is on board with the material. Exams are open note and taken at home. Def recommend

One homework assignment per week. 3 take-home tests. His class is really simple and he records his lectures so it's really easy to go back and teach yourself some things. BEST PROF EVER! Lectures are so fun and engaging, as he has lots of professional experience. He made me interested in accounting and pursue it as a double major. The class may seem scary, but he makes it so easy to understand. Lectures are recorded, tests are online and open-note. Just a couple easy short assignments each week.

Kevin is literally the best professor in Quinlan... he is so good at explaining everything and keeps class super fun and enjoyable! We used Connect all semester and he was super understanding about technical difficulties! He is super approachable and loves to help when he is asked! Highly recommend!!!

Great choice for ACCT 201, especially if you are not an Accounting major but if you are then I still recommend Lee. Rarely has boring lectures, goes over enough problems in class that makes the homework easier to do, and is very understanding of student concerns. Tests are open note and there is weekly homework that is not difficult. Take him!

Attendance is not mandatory but if you want to do great in the class you probably don't want to skip any lectures (he posts zoom recordings every class). He generally does not accept late work but if you show interest and talk to him, he sometimes gives you a pass. Clear expectations for exams and he posts a lot of review. All open notes exams.

By far one of the best professors at LUC. I literally cried bc I was going to miss him. He knows how to teach accounting and will do everything to make sure you understand; literally makes acct seem like basic math and common sense. His reviews before exams really set u up for success and since its online he lets you use notes. Amazing person!

One of the best professors! Is always excited to teach his students & knows what he's talking about - he's successful in accounting & business. I think the other reviews really sum him up so not much to add other than to take him even if you're not an ACCT major. He's always willing to help & cares a lot about his students & how they do in class.

Kevin Lee is such a great and caring teacher. He truly wants the best for his students and always offers outside help. He doesn't try and overwhelm students and tries his best to understand the situations students are in.

MY KING. Take him. Few tests, hw weekly, and attendance is optional. Had him for ACCT 201 & 202 and couldn't be happier. He truly cares about his students and is very understanding. He very clear and easygoing. He's also very funny and applies current events to his lessons which makes them very interesting. Everything is online.

Amazing professor. Genuinely wants you to succeed. He can come seem blunt but he wants you to do well. Attendance is optional, zoom and recorded lectures, but GO TO CLASS if you want to do well. As long as you try you will do well. Smartbook due before class, HW weekly, 3 exams, and a final. Take Lee.

He rlly wants you to succeed. Class is not mandatory, I seldom go because mine is an 8am. I just watch the recorded lectures, and do the homework. Very homework light, and the exams are online at home with a proctoring software. Overall easy class, and you don't need to put in more than an hour of work weekly to be successful in this class. Do it!

He's a great professor! He zooms/records each lecture in real time so you always have resources to look back at.Very accessible outside of class, 3 exams (open note), a final, and McGraw- Connect Homework once a week. Take him! Take him! Take him! Nothing better you can do for yourself!

Prof Lee is a great choice to take for acct! He makes the class super accessible via a hybrid format and records the lectures as well. Very predictable format based on Connect, and everything is open note. His lectures are actually engaging as he brings a lot of energy to the table. Would defo rec esp if this is the only acct class you need.

Barely went to class and just joined Zoom. Do the homework and complete the study guides for the exams; you should not have a problem since all the exams are open notes, take-home, and a whole review week for 2/3 of the regular exams. My only critique is that Kevin is not responsive to emails and could have posted the homework earlier. No brainer.

What an amazing guy! Absolutely one of the best professors at Loyola Chicago. Definitely secured my decision to stay as an accounting major. Engaging and easy classes, took both 201 and 202 with him! Do not pass up an opportunity to take him!! Just be engaging and go to class, you will be all good!

I LOVE PROF LEE! If you can take him for either 201/202 do it! Every class is recorded on zoom, exams are take home, and he is just an overall great professor! K Lee is the ONLY professor to take for ACCT 201 and 202! He is so understanding and rooting for you to succeed even outside of his class. Consists of weekly ish HW on Connect, 2 exams taken online (proctored), and 1 big project. directions are very clear, as long as you do the work, this class is an A. If you don't take him, missing out big time.

Probably the best professor I had at Loyola. Very funny and genuine dude. He will not stop teaching until you get to concept. Only downside is the workload but it should be an easy flow for you if you truly pay attention in his lectures. He also puts his class on zoom and sends the recordings on sakai, although it is not guaranteed. 10/10

If Kevin has one fan it's me, if Kevin has no fans I'm dead. Best professor, so caring, SO funny, and quite literally inspired me to major in accounting on day 1. Take him, no better option, inarguably best professor I've had at Quinlan.

Take prof Lee if you can. As someone who knew nothing about accounting this class was a breeze because of how good he is at explaining things. He genuinely cares about his students, so so funny and makes me want to come to class. He has given so so so much good advice that applies to things outside of accounting. Professor Lee is a fun professor; his "lectures" are mainly visual lectures. He is always available to help outside of class. Weekly assignments (2), 4 exams (online). Fun professor!

All classes recorded- you can go back to them. He managed to make me UNDERSTAND Acct. Fantastic guy- no BS, always on top of things. One pre-hw work and one hw per week--- DOABLE. A very clear and funny person. Made accounting fun!!

Professor Lee's ACCT201 class is a great option - engaging lectures, easy assessments, and helpful resources like Unstuckstudy. With open-note exams and weekly homework, you can succeed by staying on top of the material.

Literally THE BEST!!!!! Please TAKE him if you can! Exams are online, 3 midterms and 1 cumulative final. Homeworks and smartbooks every week (10 overall). If you can't come to class, he is doing zoom every single class, so you can just join online. Genuinely wants you to succeed! Again, TAKE HIM!

Probably the best professor at Loyola, I could not recommend him more! Your grade consists of 3 exams which are online and open note, a project, and weekly homework (which is also online). He is hilarious and is so passionate about his work, which makes the class so much more fun and engaging. Definitely take him!!!

I rarely write good reviews, but Kevin Lee is actually the best decision you can make for accounting. He genuinely wants his students to do well unlike so many other teachers. Material can be challenging, but it's fine as long as you keep up. Class was SO chill. I've always hated accounting, but he made it good.

Took him a second time for because I loved him so much. 2 exams (online and open note), 1 semester long project (very doable and he helps), and weekly homework. Amazing professor, wish he taught more classes so I can take them too lol! TAKE HIM, SO WORTH IT.
