Professor Miller is an awesome professor and I really recommend taking him. He is very cary and understanding about assignments. He also wants to make sure you understand the concepts. The power points include a good amount of discussions and graphics that keep the class interesting. Take him if you can!

He really cares about his students. His lectures are very entertaining. He even used fun British and German accents in one to keep us entertained. He has cool pictures and guest speakers. His stories are really cool! Like, I leave class in awe of what I learned. I'm not a fan of history but he made me a fan.

Professor Miller was by far one of my favorites, his assignments were fun to do and my major is not even in history. Every lecture drew you in, before class he would like to talk to the whole class and see how everyone was doing. If a student had questions he was always available, I never had a hard time reaching him. You want him as a professor!

Dr. Miller is a great professor with a passion for history. He makes great jokes and tells plenty of stories pertaining to the course content. History has always been interesting to me and Dr. Miller made it that much better! He is very understanding with assignments and, so long as you attend lecture, you'll understand what is needed for an "A"!

Professor Miller is what every other professor should aspire to be, he uses common sense over blind policies that have no regard for nuance. He is available at almost literally all hours of the day and night and one really needs to do is ask for whatever they need and he will do his best to oblige. His lectures reflect his passion for the subject.

He's on your side when it comes to grading assignments and doing assignments. He gives you the answers when it comes to the assignments (for the most part). Literally tells you to skim the chapters; also, you can use quizlets online, the textbook, and the study guide during the test.

Professor Miller was an amazing professor! He is by far my favorite professor I have had at GCU. I have never been one for history, but this class was required for my major and Prof. Miller made class interesting and fun! He also likes to make jokes related to the topic which make it a lot easier to be attentive! Take his class if you can!!

Professional Miller has become one of my favorite professors I've had. He spends a lot of his own time to make sure his lectures are deeply informative. His lectures are always intriguing which have made it very easy to remember the material. He has a great ability to connect with his students and bring the class together.

This class is easy to get an A in as long as you go to class and do all the assignments, which are writing heavy but not too difficult. The lectures are interesting and there is a good balance of both lecture and group activities in class.

Professor Miller is pretty cool. He's always open if you want to talk one on one or send him a message on HALO. He'll make a point of working out whatever you're going through in regards to the class. He's an easy grader. Just make sure you come to class, listen, and view every PowerPoint. Participate and answer his discussion questions too.

Professor Miller is extremely knowledgeable of his field, and his lectures are involving, memorable, and informative. He was also extremely personable and asked each student what was going on outside of class and was always involved. Miller is also super willing to work with students if they need extra time and is flexible, friendly and accessible!

No better way to say it other than Prof Miller is the best professor at GCU. He made a boring History class very enjoyable. He was a fairly easy grader, no final in the class, and quizzes were on your own time online and open note. If I wanna get an easy A take this professor.

Professor Miller is laid back and a very kind professor. He gives out no tests or exams, although he gives out assignments about every week/other week that take multiple hours to complete. I recommend professor Miller because he is funny, merciful, and I'd rather spend the time doing an assignment rather than studying all night for a test.

Kevin Miller is the best history professor I have ever had. He made lectures engaging and interesting; high quality slides with just the right information and clear about what is expected from each assignment. He is visibly passionate about history. He opened every lecture with a 5 min spiel about the importance of the mental health of students

It is clear Professor Miller cares a lot about what he is teaching and his students. The lectures are always interesting and he is super willing to work with you if you have a late assignment. On the last day, I came and there were only four other students, he talked to us and showed us a video and we just had a nice time. Would highly recommend!

Professor Kevin Miller was an outstanding professor. Although he had to go through long lectures to give us the correct material for our coursework, he made class enjoyable by implementing his personality with his teaching to strike humor in class. There is no other professor I would've rather had for this course!

Professor Miller is a great professor. His classes are lecture heavy. His classes will go the distance. I would not expect to get out early (besides a few classes). He has great knowledge about each topic. He tries to keep classes entertaining and will provide a short couple-minute break. I would recommend this class, but you need to show up.

Just do the homework and you will get a good grade in the class. Also, show up to class for participation at the end of the lecture.

Mr. Miller is a fantastic professor. He tells hilarious stories and has an unending supply of witty punchlines to deliver, all the while teaching informative lectures. However, due to the fact it is a general education course, many people did not show up or participate in class. This was disheartening as Mr. Miller is passionate about each lecture.

I enjoyed his lectures, and although some of histories more darker aspects are discussed within the classroom, professor miller does a great job at communicating how our history plays an important role to our future. Genuinely one of the best, if not probably the best professor I think I will ever have during the course of GCU. He is super passionate about what he teaches and is willing to provide so much help that its nearly impossible to fail his class if you try. He is truly the best

Professor Miller did a great job teaching this course and making the content interesting. Participation is a heavy part of the final grade so skipping class isn't really an option. He makes his assignment criteria clear so there's no confusion about what he's expecting. Overall a great professor.

Professor Miller is the single greatest professor I have had in my three years at GCU. Never would've thought that a 100-level general history lecture would be the place I wanted to be most at 5pm on a Friday night as I prepare to graduate, but here we find ourselves. A gift of a professor from God. Take his class at all costs.

He's funny without having to try too hard and makes history more enjoyable to learn. Super easy to earn an A in this class as long as you show up and do the work.

Instructor Miller is a great history professor, its an easy class and if you get all assignments done on time and go to class you will pass for sure with an A+. His lectures are long but he provides great information and goes over every assignment in class and gives us what we need for it. Amazing instructor!!!!

I would easily take Prof. Miller again. Super awesome guy and really feels like he cares about his students. Very lecture heavy class but his lectures are entertaining and very informative. Assignments are pretty easy as are quizzes, pretty light workload compared to a lot of other classes. Overall, I highly recommend taking his class!

Prof Miller was great. Unless you enjoy learning about history and can listen for an hour and forty-five minutes about past wars, his class can be pretty boring. However, he is a fair grader and does not expect too much from his students. If you show up and do your work (and there's not even that much to do) you will receive an A in the class.

Albeit lecture-heavy, the work required was fair and necessary. Prof. Miller's use of war-games, videos, and visuals surrounding historical events served to illuminate the significance of leadership and decision-making in war. The paperwork required reflects the students' (mostly cadets) understanding of the military history subjects at hand. 10/10

Kevin Miller is an excellent professor who provides insightful feedback. The assignments are not too hard, but the turabian citations are difficult. Overall, excellent course.

Overall a great professor. The lectures are well made, informative, and entertaining. He is a very social professor and fun to talk to outside of the lecture time. He is very knowledgeable about everything history related (especially military history related), and this makes the class much easier and more enjoyable.
