Seriously the greatest...not to mention, hottest professor alive! I don't know, there's just something about his button-up dress shirts with the hair sticking out that makes me all tingly inside. I had no problem staring at him for 1 1/2 hours.

Very fun teacher! Fun to take

Dr. Patrick is so cool. If you go to class, pay attention to what he says, and read what he tells you to, you are guaranteed to pass with an "A."

good prof, and just a cool guy. he is the bonus point king. i have seen C's turn into A's just because of the amount of bonus points you can get. just go to class and study, its probably hard to fail with this guy

The coolest guy ever, if you fail or get a C in this class you have to not go and/or sleep. lots of extra credit points, and extremely fair.

A good guy who is a pretty good teacher. He's fun and it's impossible to get a bad grade with him. However, going to class can become rather tedious because he tends to spend the first 20 minutes of class repeating what he said last class.

Dr. Patrick is an awesome professor. He really bent over backwards to help me out in the class. So much bonus oppotunity, and he has real good classroom energy. He comes highly recommended.

Dr. Patrick is an excellent teacher and his classes tend to be entertaining and amusing. He's very involved with his students and is willing to help you if you'll help yourself.

This guy is a great professor. He teaches at a reasonable pace, will help you whenever you need it, and makes map making an exciting thing to do. His tests are reasonable if you look over the stuff before hand. No attendance policy, but if you don't go, you'll be behind in what the class is doing.

Awesome professor! One of my favorites. His tests are hard, but he gives an abundance of extra credit to compensate. He also gives extra credit pts. for almost every question answered in class, and by doing so, elicits more class participation than any prof. i have seen yet. Take him, he's great!

He makes the class a lot easier if ur not a geography major, but the content is just boring, he will pretty much throw a party or let u play baseball in the middle of class and teach around it without getting mad.

Easy as cake. Even non-geog majors found the class easy. Bonus points are a dime a dozen. Classes are fun, lots of group work in 256. Also knows who you are and BS's at the begininng of class. And he is ALWAYS 5 minutes late. Always.

This man is just an awesome teacher. He gives bonus points out like crazy and creates a classroom with a lot of energy. If you are a non geog major I would definately take this class it's very clear, coherent, easy, and well worth it.

Although Dr. patrick is a nice guy his class is difficult. He can explain something, and u still dont understand it. Plus no matter what I did in his class I just couldnt understand and when I thought I got it I was dead wrong.He knew I was trying hard and he STILL failed me. Nice guy, but his class sucked.I pray I dont get him again. DONT do it!!!

He makes the class he is teaching extremely fun and is active and energetic and he clearly loves what he teaches and who he teaches it to. Has a great sense of humor and is the most intelligent, witty, and ingenious professor I have ever had. There should be more professors out there like him!

He is very passionate about his teaching and very enthusiastic at 8am! He seems a little crazy at first because he draws these hugs maps for you to copy on the board frequently...tests are really difficult, but he gives you many opportunities for bonus. If you go to class, show interest, answer questions, you'll do fine. He made me like geography!

Awesome teacher. Sometimes he puts stuff on the tests that he DID NOT cover though. If you take this guy's class in the morning, be prepared. While your sleeping, he'll be wide awake practically screaming at the top of his lungs!

Its my second year...He is by far the best teacher I have had. He teaches extremly well and ties in soooooo many jokes...If he failes at teaching(which he won't) he'll have a career as a comedian. Extra credit out the ass...I reached over 60pts extra credit by just answering questions in class...He really understand how to reach the students.

HE IS A GREAT TEACHER!! VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT COURSE CONTENT. I HAVE HIM NOW FOR CART 1 AND URBAN GEOG, IF HE TEACHES A CLASS THAT U NEED I STRONGLY SUGGEST TAKING HIM!! I WOULD TAKE HIM FOR THE REST OF MY PLANNING CLASSES IF I COULD!!

So much extra credit! He actually made me want to switch my major to Geography because you is such a good prof! He gives you extra credit if you go to class and also you get the material alot easier if you jsut go. I never really read the chapters and I am still pulling out an A right now!

I swear to everything Holy, that he could quit his job today and make it as a stand-up comedian.

His summer course (geog or nonwest. world) is easier than his semester courses but the man can draw anywhere in the world by memory. He is truly amazing. I love him even though hes from Jersey. He's a sexy mofo who truly gets the info through to you. I wish I could have taken him for more classes. His X-tra credit is great if u just pay attention.

the easiest course I have taken at IUP. Gives soooo much bonus points it is rediculous. You could easily earn 3 bonus points a day. Don't buy the book, you don't use it. Would recomend this professor to anyone.

BEST TEACHER EVER. Easy A! His class is so interesting & so much fun. He gives out so much extra credit. You will love attending his class. He is funny & smart. He shows pictures he has taken on his travels so you can get real life examples of the things he is talking about. If you can, DEFINITELY TAKE HIS CLASS!

I have never met a professor at IUP who knows so much about his field. He loves to share his knowledge with students. He also loves taking field trips. Tests can be tough, but the bonus points cancel that out. Take this professor, and go on the field trips. You won't regret it.

An absolute riot, makes the boring material (to me at least) very enjoyable with his jokes and comments. Really knows what he's talking about and gives a lot of first hand accounts. No homework but 3 difficult tests equal your entire grade. Gives a lot of extra credit if your willing to particiapte in class plus extra credit field trips can help.

Dr. Patrick is hands down one of the funnest professors at IUP. He makes you want to attend class and learn. I haven't ever seen a professor as enthusiastic as him.

People are trippin, this guy know's his stuff. He was funny, or at least tried to be, which makes the class cool. The workload is low BUT get as many bonus points as you can and you'll be golden.

Dr. Pat is the funniest, coolest prof I've had at IUP, gonna be tough to top this guy. His class always wakes me up and gets me laughing no matter what mood Im in. He makes it easy to learn the material which I found to be very interesting. Also offers an abundance of bonus points. TAKE HIM!

Kevin Patrick is by far the best professor I have ever had. Not only does he exhibit a passion for what he teaches, but makes a strong effort to get to know each student. Students are treated as equal to him. He teaches the class with humor and (although I hate this cliche) makes learning fun. He also takes the class on many enjoyable field trips!

He's awesome. He keeps everything interesting and hands out bonus points like it's nothing.

Patrick's class was pretty hard, but I would suggest anybody to take him. He's so passionate about what he does, cares/jokes around with his students, and takes you on amazing field trips. 3 HARD exams for total grade. I did pretty bad on all of them, but he gives out so much extra credit that I got an A in the class. You won't regret taking him!

He's a fast-movin', hard-talkin' kind of guy, but don't let it scare you. His lectures seem confusing in the moment, but you realize you actually understand when it's time to do an assignment. Also, gives out massive bonus points and allows redos. I've had over 100% in the class since day one and I'm an average student in his class.

Dr. Patrick is absolutely hilarious. He is so scatterbrained but there really is a method to his madness. If you go to class and get involved, you'll get so many extra credit points that you will definitely end up with an A. His tests are a little tough, but if you go to class and study, you should have no problem. Go to class and have fun. I'll definitely take him again.

Great teacher, He's absolutely insane, but a great teacher. the only grades were the 3 tests and he throws extra credit around like it's air. To get said extra credit though you have to participate, but its worth it. at the end of this semester i only had to get a 38% on the final to get an A in the class because of all the extra credit.

Tests are absolutely unforgiving, but everything else is simple enough. Still writes all notes on the board so be prepared to do some writing.

I literally got 103% on the first exam; super easy class if you pay attention. Extra credit given out like candy and counts as percentage points on exams.

Dr. Patrick made learning about geography a great experience! With this class, it was never a dull moment. You have the ability throughout the semester to stack up enough extra credit that most people don't even have to take the final. He packs a lot into his lectures but the exams are so easy since you are able to use your textbook.

His class is so exciting to attend that you won't want to miss. He gives out extra credit opportunities just about every class session. Aced the first exam. Sometimes his notes can be a bit sloppy, especially if you're not the best at drawing out maps. Learn the structure of the book and what is important to read and you should be fine.

This guy is hilarious. Youll learnlots about regional geography and also lots of history. He sure knows a boat load about history. Ive honestly learned more about history from him in geography 104 than in previous history courses.

Good class to take. He never talked about the French Revolution or the Haitian revolution which was odd considering that it has lots of relevance with the topics of colonialism and colonization. Overall good professor, make sure you sit in the FRONT OF THE CLASS, you will get more bonus points at the board much quicker.

Best professor for a gen ed! I wish I needed to take more of his classes, very chill and had a lot of extra credit

Dr. Patrick is a really funny guy. He gives out a ton of extra credit and all his assignments can be done with little effort. He is very passionate about cartography and it shows in a good way. Class is very easy as long as you can click a mouse and type on a keyboard to his directions. No complaints and would take him in a heartbeat again.

Professor Patrick is absolutely hilarious. He goes on tangents but he is able to keep the class engaged in the material by the end of it. No homework, just exams. However, he gives out extra credit to kids that participate and get questions right. This class is not just about maps, you learn about culture, history, and even a bit about yourself.

Very passionate and very engaging. Usually 5 mins late to lecture and has a habit of losing track of time and going 5 mins over. Gives out tons of extra credit and gives good feedback on projects. Exams are not that hard, but not easy either. Easy to talk to and get along with. Very clear and concise when teaching about the program used.

Dr. Patrick is a funny professor. The class was really engaging and I never thought I would like to learn about the architecture of houses and skyscrapers. He is extremely knowledgeable and you will learn something from the classes with him. He gives out a lot of busy work at once, but it's nothing insane. Take him if you can; you'll remember him.

Dr. Patrick is very passionate about the material that this class covers. He's very knowledgable and a cool person. He offers many chances for extra credit that will definitely help out in the long run. Do be aware that he goes overtime and he talks a lot. Definitely ask him for help when you need it.

Dr. Patrick was a good professor. This class focuses on making maps on the computer along with reading physical maps. I'm a visual learner and his class is definitely set up in a way for auditory learners. Don't be discouraged if you don't learn everything as fast as others do. Ask for help and you'll definitely have the skills towards the end.

Good prof, very interested in the topics he teaches

I've had Dr. Patrick for previous classes and I was pleased to have him again. He is a wealth of knowledge and his lectures are very interesting. His exams are rather difficult in my opinion. However, he offers so much extra credit to balance grades. I definitely recommend this professor to anyone taking a geography course.

Dr. Patrick was super entertaining and a good professor. He always was giving extra credit points and participation in class was a big thing for him. Attendance was not necessarily mandatory but at least once a week he takes attendance and gives students who were there bonus points. He also learns your name so he will notice if you aren't in class.

He's definitely an old-school teacher. But he is amazing you never know what he will say. He really doesn't have set dates to turn things in as long as it's done. I got 20 extra point from answering his questions in class very easy going.

Professor Kevin's class is an old-school but amazing experience. Flexible deadlines and easy participation points make this course manageable. For study prep, I found unstuck ai and the free textbook to be super helpful.

I found him to he a really good professor, if you're having trouble he will help make sure the material is understood. He gives an out a lot of extra credit for answering questions. There are a few projects that you have to go in after class to work on but they're not that bad and he will give feedback after so you can go back for a higher grade.

He's a great professor, while attendance isn't mandatory he does so attendance when people don't come. He gives a lot of extra credit especially if you go on the field trips which are very beneficial to your learning. I earned over 20 points of extra credit by the trips, attendance, and answering questions. Make sure to read the books!

A funny professor who give ALOT of extra credit. Borderline impossible to fail as long as you do the stuff you need to.
