Very nice person, he is a new prof. and the department does not inform him of anything, so student are left hanging. He teaches very well and will explain anything you don't understand. When its close to exam date he rush thru the chapter, but yuo ca go to his office for help. Overall Good Prof.

ACC 3200 is by far the hardest accounting class you'll take!!Kevin is very clear has no accents, has a great personality(kinda funny)BEWARE-makes minor mistakes when writing on the board!! He can't do much about the exams because it's a departmental exam.Take this teacher he's the best!

Which part of him is hot???? Regarding his teaching i would say he is okay. He does what he's supposed to do and the rest is up to you. He's very helpful but expect to do a lot of work by yourself. THis class is hard and exams are not straightforward and he can't do anything about that. Be prepared!

he is alright. he does fall behind other prof. because he let us out early a lot of times. this is not a hard class at all. just read the book and make sure u know how to solve the HW problems and this class would be very very easy.

He is a very good person and a teacher. Don't be lazy and you'll be fine. He's very understanding of whatever problems you may have and very helpful outside of the class.

He is a great professor. He has no control over the exam, but he will help as much as possible> read the book, come to class, do HW and you will do fine

acc3200 is a hard course. i think he is doing his best to explain the materials. overall i think he is a pretty good professor. you know.. there are a lot of stupid no brainer accounting professors in Baruch. but this professor is not one of them.

he's okay. he knows how to teach. Take him for FINANCIAL acc II. You won't regret

He is a nice guy. Goes at a slow pace, but that is because he does not want people getting lost with the material. I thought he did a good job this semester teaching. His bad ratings were from cost, which every cost professor has. I would definitely recomend him for Acc3100.

Very nice man,BUT can't teach very well.You are better off reading the book.He takes a while to go after each chapter,it's good cause the exam it would only cover 2 or 3 chapter. Also, you could take one midterm instead of two, plus a final-final not cumulative. The highest out of the two midterm counts-HE's absent alot 6 during the whole semester.

He is a good professor. He is nice and goes over a lot of problems from the book in class. He gives two midterms and drops the lowest one. The test are a little difficult but if you keep up with the homework when youre suppose to do it then you should be ready to answer the questions on the test. He is always available for office hours

These people that claim he is the worst are morons. The guy is a good professor. They say he they didnt learn anything? I learned a lot this semester. He was a good professor and had to put up with people not knowing anything when they came into class because of course they dont do the assignments. If I had the chance to take him again I would.

i totally agree with all comments above. his exams are very very very long... and he also takes off a lot of points for no reason. i ahd to drop his class in the middle of the semester. it also took him 3 weeks to grade the midterm. i recommend not to take him. he also gives a lot of HW that has to be done online by a certain due date.

ALL the bad reviews are from the students who are very lazy and do not want to do assignment from the book, cause that's all his class is about. In this class if u do your assignments you cover over 17% of your grade. study the same assigments and this is what u will get on your exams. This class prepares u for the 4000 level ACC classes.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. Yes the material is hard but he does the best he can to simplify it. He is available after class for help and holds a review session before every test. The material is not easy and effort is required to get a good grade. This professor is one of the better accounting professors available so take him!

He explains accounting concepts clearly--that is all for an accounting student. I will highly recommend him to those who really want to be in accounting major.

Prof Sachs is very nice as a person and he really tries his best. What he knows-he explains it very well, what he doesn't-you have to read a book and do HW on your own. He is very good in grading test(always gives you partial credits)

Very personable Professor. He explains things clearly. Tries to make info interesting and fun to learn by making jokes. He encourages participation. His exams are not hard; problems are very similar to homework. He gives lots of partial credit in grading. Goodluck finding a better professor at Baruch. Students who dislike him are just lazy.

He teaches most of the material well. If you understand his material in class, which he explains well, you should do ok on the tests. He counts HWs and Participation as 20% of the grade, so if your lazy and don't like to do those things, this is the wrong professor. However, if you have problems with exams the HWs and Participation can help....

Really nice professor. Second time taking the class and he was way easier than Byard who is horrible beyond belief. Participation does count and he does drop your grade. The class is hard and you do have to study on your own but this professor was better than some of the others out there that teach this class.

Participate, do HW and study for his 2 midterms & final. I rcv'd a B+ just b/c I didn't put much effort into the two midterms. You could definitely get an A, if you study his notes & all the HWs. ACC 3000 is not that difficult and Sachs breaks it down pretty well. He is a nice guy overall & an asset to Baruch. Highly recommend, but do study!

This class is definitely doable by the "right" people. As an intermediate accounting course, students should be focused on achieving that A and not just trying to pass the class. Sachs teaches in a great manner and is a jewel for any student actually serious about becoming an accountant. Take if you want to learn.

A good grade in this class is possible. Just attend class and use his notes for studying. However, his grading policy is ridiculous.

Great prof. IDK what the others are grading on but he was clear, makes himself available, and explains things in class. Go through class notes and practice homework to do well on test. He made this class real easy and really cares whether you understand the material or not.

He is one of the best accounting professors in Baruch. Trust me, I took this class twice and I can compare him with other professor. I was able to get an A in his class. All you need is taking a really good notes, he is explaining every single detail and make you really understand everything. He is always available after class.

Best accounting professor at baruch. Actually, you have to pay attention and take good notes in his class because most of the stuffs in the exams are came from the notes. If you take a good notes. the calss is easy even the accumulated won't kill you.

He's the best accounting professor I've had a Baruch. He is funny, and he is the only acc proff that doesn't assume you know anything he doesn't mind explaining things from scratch as many times as necessary he wants to make sure everyone understands everything. It's obviously a hard class but he makes it easy to understand and his test are fair and easy if you study. Great proff overall!

Prof Sachs is patient and responsible. Class is fun and materials are clear. He is a nice,fair guy. Participation takes 8% of grade. Lots hw but it's helpful.

Definitely a better professor, but be ready for a veeery slow pace in the beginning of the semester and rushing through towards the end. Very disorganized when timing the exams and lectures right, so lots of studying at the end.

Prof. Kevin is the best professor I have had in Baruch. The class is really demanding, you must put a lot of time studying the material, but he is really willing to help you understand dificutl concepts. He replied to my 1000 emails I sent him during the semester. If you are really into accounting and want to be a CPA take this class with Kevin.

One of the best accounting professors in Baruch. He really cares about his students. The materials are hard but he tries his best to make sure that everyone understands. Participation is 8%. Make sure you raise your hand every week or so. Not hard to get that full point.

He ruined my life. Not I will not graduate on time. He only put 2 questions on the midterm with part a b c d e f g h. and if you dont get the answer for a you cant move on, hence you get the question wrong, hence you get a 50% hence you fail. you have to completely master accouungint and know acc 3000 material

Good professor. Very clear in explanations. Lectures are interesting, take a good notes. 2nd midterm was the hardest one. Final is cumulative, 8% for participation. Best professor for ACC 3100 class.

class is hard, exams are tricky, lot of h/work. But PROFESSOR is EXCELLENT!!! no matter what other reviews say! he does care about his students and tries to help. Just don't expect to pass his class doing nothing. if u study u'll get a good grade even if you fail midterms.

First, I will start out saying I personally love the subject. And he is an excellent professor. Probably the BEST I've ever had, or will have. VERY FAIR and Always available for questions. Amicable and funny, there's nothing tricky about his class. Pay attention, read the text, be involved, and it will be a breeze. Again, I aim to be an accountant.

He gives alot of homework and his exams are trickyy! However, he is a very nice person and tries to help all his students. He teaches slowly to make sure we understand things. He sends us alot of lenghty emails all the time to make sure we understand whats happening in class. He is also pretty funny.

Got A+ from his class. Exams arent as difficult as I expected. Do your homework, ready the book, go over the note, study one week prior the midterms and you will be passed with a letter grade A
