Made the long class session (@ 3hrs.), not feel so long with interesting and at times comical lectures, which was a breath of fresh air compared to other professors. Be prepared to work in groups, do some public speaking and most importantly don't miss class and take notes!! Taking down the lecture notes will save you on his test!

I took this class by mistake I was supposed to take MRKT 21 but took this instead. But because he is a great professor who helps out students about applications of his classes to real life, i figured why not just stay. The whole semester was a blast. I learned so much from him and I am looking forward to taking MRKT 21 with him.

This professor is first of all hands on with his students. Though to find nowadays. He gives respect and expects it back. Tests are pretty easy. Pretty much gives the answers to the questions the class before. Lectures are fun. Still want to see his episode of Judge Joe Brown, though. I should dock him for not showing that. But I won't.

International trade is an online course that requires a LOT of reading, but if you're looking to pursue a business degree, it's all invaluable knowledge. Professor Sanford is a fair grader and will go out of his way to help. Keep in mind that he values participation and communication, so without those, good look making an argument for your late hw.

Sanford is the easiest professor at LAVC. He gives a lot of extra credit for the semester. You can use printed notes for the exams and there will be a project due mid- semester. He gives great world example while you write down notes. Never a boring class because he will be joking around.

If you need a high level math the transfer to a CSU you should TAKE THIS COURSE. As of 2019 this course satisfies the B4 Quantitative Reasoning so you can pass this class and than take math at CSUN. 5 discussions 5 points, 4 quizzes 10 points, 3 excel assignments 35 points, 100 pst total. Never read the book, easy course. You can retake the quizzes

Easiest class I've ever taken! Took intro to business online and plan on taking marketing with him in spring. Assignments are discussions and responses and he drops the lowest quiz grade. He assigns an easy project in the middle of the semester and your final is an add on to that project. Highly recommend taking his class if you are interested

I took this course in the summer (5 weeks). It was very easy and simple. The workload was around 2 assignments a week (discussion and quiz) and all were very easy. Not hard at all. 5/5

Professor Sanford is one of the best professors out there! He is a easy A the discussions and the quiz are due every Sunday. He assigns a project as the final which is super easy. I took him for a 8 week course highly recommend if you want a caring professor as well as an easy A!

I took this class as an 8 week course, and Professor Sanford is amazing. He truly cares about his students' success and provides many opportunities to do well. The textbook is free and the final project was super unique and fun it really helps you learn more about the business world. I would 100% take his class again!

Whether you're working on a business degree or just want to get better at communication, you're in the right class. This course can be tough sometimes, but don't let that throw you off. If you stay consistent, do the reading before quizzes, and stay involved, you'll be just fine. I learned way more than I expected, and I'm pretty sure you will too.

This class was really helpful and gave me some great takeaways. The workload wasn't overwhelming, and as long as you stay on top of things, follow directions, and don't procrastinate. Taken this prof before, will always take him when I can! Easy class, easy A! You do learn about writing resumes, business communication, and how to write and give persuasive speeches. 10/10!
