Mr. Stepanyan, keeps his class very interesting and makes the learning process easy and fun. He knows his stuff very well and yes you have to go to class. Make sure to do the extra credits, it helps a lot. Oh and ladies, he is HOT HOT HOT!!!!! So try not to stare at him for too long.

His is somewhat picky about the attendance, but it?s not that bad. I actually learned in his class. And yes his is good looking.

Love this teacher! I would definitely recommend him. Prof. Stepanyan is a really cool professor, his lectures are very interesting, you never felt bored in his class. Took him during winter, there's test every week. Test are all about the vocabulary, so just study and you will do fine. There's are also no homework but extra credit.

Professor Stepanyan gave really good lectures and shared his experience in relation to whatever subject he discussed. The tests he gave were fairly easy, just study your notes or the textbook and you should be fine! He did gave extra credit opportunities and will help you out in class if you need it.

The quizzes, midterm, and final are based on vocabulary words, very simple. He is very clear on what he's explaining. He has tons of interesting and amusing stories. He is also very motivational. Overall really easy class. Only thing that threw me off is the fact that the final was very simple but either way received a C as my final grade.

Had him for Summer and went over 26 chapters in 5 weeks. Traditional lecturing from the book. Know your definitions for the tests--majority of the test are definitions with a sprinkle of conceptual questions. He gives you a lot of extra credit DO THEM!! Don't misjudge his monotone voice for a boring personality, he's hilarious and very intelligent!

Took it summer 5 week course and covered 25 chapter and included 3 papers, 2 of them were extra credit. I had so much extra credit points all I needed was a 60 on my final. I passed with an A! You definitely need to know your vocab other than that he doesn't care if you skip class. Half the class was absent but during test day everyone showed up

Bio psych is not the easiest class. However, Prof. Stepanyan makes it easy to understand, as he gives great lectures that include examples one can relate to. Taking his class sparked an interest in me to learn more about clinical psych. He's a fair grader and does give extra credit to help students.

Amazing professor, he tells a lots of stories, really fun class, gives good examples and also gives 2 extra credit. Test are easy, as long as you do your work and review all the vocab, you will get a "A" in his class.

He teaches by the book (it's DEFINITELY required), but his experience as a psychologist allows him to give great examples during his lectures. There's 1 assignment all semester, and it's an informal 5 pg report. Just follow the criteria and he'll give you full points. Tests are all multiple choice and very straight-forward. He's a great professor!

This is the best class I have taken so far in college. The professor is amazing and really teaches in a way that makes students pay attention. His very funny and makes class fun every time. He is a very good teacher. He made the subject very interesting, peppering in stories from his work in the field. Some of this is almost haunting. Take good notes. From those notes, study the book definitions. His tests are worded the same as the definitions in the margins of the textbook, along with some diagrams. I took it in the summer.

I cried during our last class because he is such a caring and amazing professor who genuinely cares for his student's wellbeing. One of the best professors Ive ever taken, professor Stepanyan made the material easy to understand by using real life situations/examples in his lecture. I loved taking Professor Stepanyan's class. There's a class textbook, but you don't have to get it. He explains everything you need to know in his lectures and even uses real life examples he's faced. The quizzes and discussions were all about the lectures so just make sure you listen and take notes. I suggest taking him; good luck :)

He is truly one of the best professors at ELAC. I have taken him for 2 classes total and he is great. Not much work, just reading the power points that have all the information that will be asked during exams. No home work really, just discussion posts weekly, exams, and a final paper due. I really recommend him!

Dr. Stepanyan was great. His class was very detail oriented & made sure students knew the needed material. There was tests about 2 or 3 chapter at a time but should be pretty easy if you actually do your work. I passed this class with an A & will definitely take Dr. Stepanyans class again!

Class is pretty straight forward. This was an asynchronous class, so all discussions, quizzes, and exams were done online. All exams are timed, but plenty of time given. All exams are open book. There was one term paper, which was about yourself. Very organized, informative, and interesting class. Do reading, and exactly as he says and its easy A

He's just amazing, so very passionate about his lectures. You just need to listen and understand what he talks about. Every class session he just wants you to complete an assignment of what you learned in his class. If I could take this professor again - I would. Even if you have to do papers also - it's interesting topics. He grades fairly too!

He makes psychology very easy, it almost made me want to switch majors. I enjoy being in his class he is very detailed about the chapters. Exams are done online. There is 1 term paper but it is not to bad he is not a tough grader. He also has discussion every week about the what we learned during the week.

Dr. Stepanyan explains his class very well, each week he only leaves a 350-word discussion in which you only have to explain what you found interesting or something new that you learned, the quizzes are based on the presentation(slides) study those and you'll be ok, the quizzes are multiple-choice!

Amazing professor, shows care for his work and field of study. Makes sure you understand the lecture and talking points. Answers all questions with knowlegde, insight. I respect him a lot, he may seem strict, however if he sees you work hard pouring your soul into studying there maybe cnaces for extra credit/ free credit. Lectures are top tier.

Taking Intro to Psych online is the easiest course I have had. I love how easy to keep up with his class is. Super organized with his modules, he gives you a week to complete a quiz. Just take notes from the lecture, do the weekly discussions, and have those notes ready for the quizzes! At least, this has been my experience in his online class.
