I just took this class with him and without a doubt, a good professor. Lectures are clear and straightforward. Handwriting is stellar and very neat. Does not use powerpoints!. Professor Boet is in my opinion the best professor at Miami Dade for math classes. I have never personally been good at any math of any sort but ended up finishing top in my class with a 99.25% for his Mac1140 Pre Calc class. Notes and homework are key, homework isn't required but will be on test. Test are sometimes tricky but not impossible.

I don't get all the bad comments about him. The class was challenging and his tests are long and make you think, but that's the point of the class. It's calculus after all. I took business calculus for spring. Professor gives you everything you need to know, homework is not mandatory but will help you on the test and he gives you the solutions. I had him for an online class, and the class was fairly easy. He didn't teach the lectures, instead he assigned videos to watch but provided contact info in case you had questions. Tests are just like the reviews. Overall I think he is a solid choice for a professor for an easier class.

Professor Boets class was remote but he did no lectures. He provides videos for you to watch if you need them. The homework range from 30-35 questions alone with one test for each unit. There are 4 units in total. No proctored tests or anything of that sort. Also, no midterm or final !

Professor Boet has been the best teacher I have had at MDC. I took him for calculus and he really comes through at the end with a wonderful study guide for the final, I ended up getting a 100% on it and saved my grade. He is a great teacher, and very well spoken about the subject. He is the only professor I would ever want to teach me calc.

Professor Boets class was relatively simple and he made it very clear what the grading rubric was going to be so as long as you followed through on that you should be fine. One bad takeaway is that he does take a while to answer emails, sometimes not fully answering your question.

Calculus is hard but his exams were exceptionally hard, I went to many different tutors, and I am friends with two students who have completed calc 2, there were always problems that these qualified people could not answer. The tutors would ask me who my professor is, and they'd go "ohhh" when I told them, Boet. But, good lectures and provides W.S.

Super easy going professor, I did miss a test once and quiz once, both times due to internet reasons and both times he gave me an extension to finish both. No homework is a bonus for me, I'm not great when it comes to remembering homework and often times I let it slip my mind. I would definitely recommend Professor Boet to anyone.
