Khalaf lectures very quickly, and is sometimes hard to follow. If I hadnt taken a previous tax class, I probably would have been lost. That being said, his practice examples are very useful, and his exams are similar to them. All in all, solid choice, but if you need someone to go more in depth, I would avoid.

Khalaf has to be one of the worst Profs i have ever had. He is unclear about assignments and does not have clear due dates. For group assignments the instructions are not clear whatsoever and when asked for clarification he literally does nothing. I wouldnt be surprised if the other reviews are done by him trying to make his class seem better.

Khalafs' classes are definitely an acquired taste, his dry humour makes the class worth it. I would recommend reading the slides ahead of time as he does go fast but makes the material easy to understand. Focus a lot on the examples he uses in class and you'll be good. Online is hard props to the profs for still trying.

Moreover, during class time, he explained everything clearly to make sure you can understand. Well, Khalaf makes my final term at MacEwan worth it, no stressful.

Do not take ACCT328 with this prof. He is the worst prof i have had in my university career and somehow keeps setting the bar lower and lower for just how bad a prof can be. hard to understand, unclear instructions on all his assignments and offers very lazy responses to any questions asked. I'm not sure how his rating is so high. Maybe he does a better job in person, but his online lectures are horrible. Only about 10 kids attend class and the class average is super low. He often goes off on tangents and his test material looks nothing like his examples. Unless it's in person, I would avoid.

As stated in previous reviews, as an online professor Khalaf is really not an optimal choice. However, in person, he is an excellent professor. He goes through calculations and formulas, and expects exactly that in his exams. Course load itself is not terrible, with a group project and online quizzes. Be careful not to overthink, you'll do fine.

Khalaf is a nice guy, but his notes are extremely messy and missing even one class is a detriment as trying to catch up by reading the lectures on your own is extremely confusing. Weekly quizzes aren't too bad and the group project is easy as long as you get a good group. The exams follow the lecture examples closely so make sure you pay attention.
