She KNOWS her stuff... and if you want some life pumped in boring theoretical courses, she's the best. Very approachable. I enjoyed.

BEST PROF EVER!!! Really passionate about teaching economics. Just make sure you make it to every class, because although she teaches from the text you'll learn more by attending the class and get better marks on the tests.

As someone said, this professor is really passionate about teaching economics. Really wants students to succeed :). The marking scheme is very fair, and she does give you a chance to prove your knowledge so as to gain marks. Very respectful towards all people, as everyone should be to her.

I have taken three economic classes with her and she's an amazing teacher. So she appears a bit confused at times but, economics is NOT EASY. I managed to get three A's and her exams are not difficult. Just study your notes and follow the textbook. ECN504, ECN703, ECN707

Khalida is very knowledgeable and eloquent in her explanation of economical analysis. She always explains theories with real world practical examples which help in terms of comprehension. I walked away from her class a much smarter student and definitley recommend taking her classes if you want to learn the practicality of economics.

Extremely learned instructor, very good handle on subject matter. Uses practical experiences to explain theories which help in understanding. Always willing to help and very accomodating when needed. Strongly recommend!

Intro2Micro. 'A' in 1 step: read the chapter before class. If you know your stuff well, the class develops a life of its own- ambient, personal, and hilarious. 'price elasticity of (use ur imagination here) after a midterm?' ask it in this class.. Chilled pace with 15 weeks to cover 10 chapters, simple midterm, and 2 weeks to review for the final.

Mz. Manzoor is an experienced teacher, she cares more about your success in the class more than anything else. Exams and group project are pretty simple if you do your work on time. Catch her before class if you've got any questions and she'll make them all "crystal clear." A chapter a week and you'll keep your grade at a peak.

Great course. Informative and made interesting by a fabulous professor who contributes to the learning through her international experiences.

I really enjoyed taking her Wednesday night class. My only regret was that I did not put in as much effort as I should have. I find it extremely inspirational that she has a deep passion for Economics. I also believe that she genuinely cares about the success of her students. I am going to miss going to this class on Wednesday nights.

A magnificent and extremely hard working prof, not this she was fully prepared but the amount of knowledge she has for this course was so much,,i think she was over qualified for this course. Moreover, The concepts were crystal clear and the teaching method was so good that you can understand easily. She has done a perfect and fabulous job!

The course itself isn't bad, the professor is helpful. Tests are essay type, which might be a bit subjective, but after all was an easy class, especially if you do the readings.

OMG, I lve her course. She comes of hard, but at the end you will end up with a A, if you go to class and do your readings. If you get a bad mark, just talk to her and she will help you some how. She really loves to teach and help her students.

Helpful prof with a real passion to teach. She is easy if you just listen in class. She makes Econmoics fun and class is full of discussion. If you want a good mark, just talk in class reagrding the material and she will acknowlege you. Mid/Final review is sooo helpful. Almost all questions are given. Easy A. Better all other CE profs.

Prof is very passionate about course. Sometimes hard to follow where she is going with the material. The textbook is not that easy to read. Chapters don't build on one another, so there are too many different topics to cover. Prof will let u know what to study for midterm and final though. If you like economics and world issues this course is 4 u.

Prof loves class interaction. We had to do a presentation on a developing country, which I loved becasue we learned about the world through other students, and it is a good way to get marks and build class interaction. She will let you know what is in th efinala nd mid term, so come to class. She is easy to approach.

She is a very caring prof and has a lot of love towards her students. She tries to foster a positive learning environment by increasing class interaction. Make sure you go to class. Exam questions are essay type but are given to the class a week prior to the exam. She has a lot of personality,which makes her very funny! She wants to see you do good

The textbook is poorly written, but the class is still doable because of the teacher. She will help you do well. The course says you only need intro. micro, but I think people who took public finance had a bit of an advantage later in the course. If you don't take the course or economics seriously don't take a course with Manzoor.

I liked this course. the concepts were relevant and class was always interesting. The prof certainly encourages discussions. The textbook though was a pain and full of jargon. She still explained the diagrams well & kept the lectures simple. we actually covered a lot of issues. brush up on your micro (cost, externalities)... and you'll be fine

I don't know about the negative comments. I had a positive experience with her. I enjoyed the fact she talked so very loud as some rooms eat sound and drowned out the prof. I found her strict, but if you did your work, she would do anything to help you out-just show her you are trying, she would do anything for you!..one of the best I've had!

First of all to who ever thinks that all positive comments are made by the prof, you need to stop whining like a little baby and grow up. Ms. Manzoor is the most extreme professor I've ever met. Her teaching methods can be extremely refreshing and useful for some while completely negative for others. I loved that class and will never forget it!

I don't understand why many students are writing negative comments about her. She is one of the best profs I had at Ryerson and she is also very caring and very intelligent. People need to stop complaining. I understand her teaching is different from other teachers but its interesting and exciting.

She is a good instructor, and cares about students if they understand the concepts or not. Every instructor has different teaching methods, in order to fully understand her, you have to read the chapter ahead of time. Ryerson policy states you are suppose to give 10 hours per week just for homework studies per class. Overall she is a gd instructor

i walked into first class and wanted to drop. came across very rude. i had to stay in due to scheduling. she ended up being nice. basically tells you what will be on exam. very easy. gives opportunities for bonus marks. she wants her students to do well, dont get scared because shes a bit rude. just a cultural difference i guess.

First day I approached with encouragement .. but she asked who is Amartya Sen and i was like .. huh? she likes people who show interest and participation .. she gives you the materials EXACTLY what you need to study .. very easy class, show interest and her rudeness will disappear.

She is a wonderful professor with abundance of knowledge and unique way of imparting that to student. I enjoyed lot in her class, initially was very apprehensive of starting studies after a big gaps of years from last time in school. But the way she taught the fundamentals and approaches as how to build the structure of solving the complex problem

Transportation Economics is a very challenging and interesting class! It is not only about theory, it goes beyond it, it deals with everyday practical knowledge. I enjoyed taking it especially with the most helpful and knowledgeable professor as K. Manzoor is! I highly recomend to take this course - you will do excellent, I am more than sure!

She might come out a bit bitter initially, but as you along she gets to know everyone on a first-name basis and makes this class feel like home compared to some of the cold accounting and finance profs i had.. Absolutely loves class discussions. No Tests, No Mid-term, AND Gives you the 2 questions that appear in your final exam!! I will miss her..

She may seem rude at first to most students. But like everyone said, as time passes you will realize she is simply a teacher who really wants to ensure her students learn everything right and she's infact really nice once you get to know her. Take this course online and it's guaranteed an A. She gives sample questions similair to exam. Essay is straightforward and group discussions are easy 10%. Great professor!

K. Manzoor is the best and the nicest economics professor at Ryerson! She has been teaching for more than 10 years, very experienced lecturer! Classes are very interacting, well-structured, it is easy to get a good grade as long as you follow her requirements. Take economics classes with her, you will enjoy it 100%!

K. Manzoor is the best economics professor! My foundation of economics is very strong because of K.Manzoor. Lots of interaction in class and very easy going. I would definitely recommend taking economics classes with her.
