I enjoyed his class very much. Different than your usual lecturer. If you participate and you do your work, you will easily get the grade you want. I know I will take him again.

Just as everyone said, he is really easy. He offers tons of extra credit, but you don't really need to do any of it because it is already so easy. He is really funny and makes class interesting. I will definitely take him again.

Now those other comments are lame, i found this class to be moderatly hard, but i really enjoyed it. yes i did put a 4 in clarity, im trying to be honest, but im glad your foreign, which means your not just all americanized. you have alot of knowledge on the subject. seeya around

There is a language barrier, but I gave him a 4 on clarity. About a third of the way through it is very clear that you have to teach yourself alot of the stuff. He grades fair.

He enjoys teaching, and his heart is in the right place. Alot of the information you have to teach yourself. Speak up in class and it will help your grade overall.

this class is kind of hard, i think its just the way he teaches, i mean its not bad or anything. there is a little language barrier, but he really does try very hard and he DOES want all his students to pass. hes a nice guy, you just have to pay attention and definately read all the material!!

He is my favorite teacher. He will make you think outside the box. He is unbaised and is from a totally different culture which helps him in this. One draw back is his accent and it is hard to hear what he is saying sometimes.

He is one of my favorite professors. Very friendly and nice, as long as you are not a Republican! He goes out of his way to help students, you just need to go to his office. If you study, then there is no way you will fail. It's mostly common sense.

he was an interesting teacher. i really enjoyed the class and the information it involved. he was a little hard to understand at first but once you do it is okay. dont get behind on work. he offers extra credit! make sure to participate in discussions.

Well i have to say that professor andachech is my most favorite teacher yet and i plane on taking him again

The criminology class wasn't extremely great, but pretty much it's an all book class. Study for the tests (study guide given), 4 questions, all essay, 3 out of 4 questions will be picked. Reading the book helps out. Overall it was a pretty easy class if you read and studied for the test.

Greatest teacher ever!

Lectured directly from the book. As long as you followed the book, the class was easy. Interaction in classroom activity is a must, or else he goes kind of crazy. Hes a pretty cool guy, its just that most people dont really understand him.

Very nice, lectures are kind of boring.. he goes straight from the book. Sometimes hard to understand him. Grade based on tests. Not cumulative. Hes a good teacher, take him.

He is a pretty good teacher. Soc 2 was very easy. He gave out test reviews before hand to study. Class was all discussion, and participation practically made my grade.

This guy is wacko!! But in a good way. You will be intertained for the entire class. He gets off topic a lot, but it doesnt matter because his lectures are useless anyway. Just study from the study guide he gives for tests and you will get and A. I laughed the whole semester in this class. I recommend taking his class:) He means well, I liked him.

Andachech is a good teacher, but often gets sidetracked very easily for 20-30 minute time frames. There is a presentation and 4 tests throughout the class. Its a simple class and I enjoyed it, just wished he would teach about the material more.

the class is really boring a long, and he gets off topic a lot, but the class is really easy as long as you participate in a discussion or two. the tests are really easy as long as you do the study guide. he gives a study guide for every test and final. the questions on the study guide are EXACTLY the same as the one's on the tests.

He is a grreat instructor, just do the reading and take notes in class and you'll be fine, also read the test questions carefully they tend to be tricky.He does not like to be disrespected but then again who does. Make yourself known and keep the respect level high and he will love you.

Try not to take the more class he can be a bit of a grouch and moody @ 1st. Tends to use common day example to explain material. Loves to have class discussions. give extra credit if you need it. make sure to study the text b4 the Quizs & tests. there are study guides so use them very helpful!!! try not to be late. or ditch.

Alright class. MUST purchase a book and read the chapters. Likes students who have questions and discuss the reading. Quizzes are hard but tests are easy. Gives a study guide for each test.

to be honest with you, he is just amazing. if you got the skills of arguing in the class,I can assure and guarantee you will survive with good grade. all i did was argue in the class, and was C+ student in the test, but got An A+. if you want my advise, get his class.

Andacheh is a little rough around the edges and yes, abrasive at times. But if you're worthy of respect he will give it to you. Just take part in conversation and get to know the guy's views while learning about sociology. Easy tests, easy paper. I don't think the guy gets enough respect though, b/c there are too many spoiled kids in his classes.

Had him for soc 1 and soc 2. he HATED me. and noone in either class (nor i) could figure out why. Definitely likes the ladies. you MUST argue. attendance nut. Very Good teacher, a little hard to understand at times although he wants participation, and you will recieve 20 extra points, he wants to teach and he has his views which can be easily undertood, although dont give up your own veiws if you think that will please him , he likes debate.

Ok, 1st of all why are people rating Andacheh bad. This is by far the best professor I had in RCC. He is a real good teacher and person, his study guides are exactly the tests, what's the problem with you people that are rating him bad. Take this professor, it is HIGHLY RECOMEMNDED!!!

I was scared of him at first he seemed to be one of those professors that simply hates to teach...in the end I loved his class and was dying to take another one with him. His tests are easy. the study guides he gives you is basically the whole test. he's a great guy and hates george dushie bushie*well at least we have that in common* lol

I was afraid of sociology before i took his class. He's very intelligent and easy to talk to. He would go off on tangents at times but that didn't really bother me. Everyone should pass because he provides a study guide worksheet. If you get below a B, you must have never gone to class.

I took American Social Problems with him and he was great. There was a lot of debate and open discussion, rather than just lecturing. I liked his style of teaching. And yeah he will definitely scold you for texting, but come on! Show some respect to your professors and put the phones away.

Excellent professor! He will help if you ask. Ask questions, talk in class and be involved. He is very passionate about our government and the way our state is being handled. Learn the key terms and understand what the meanings are so you can bring it up in class, he loves that.

A great professor, I frequently challenged him and it was entertaining as well as informative. There definitely is a bit of a language barrier but you get used to it, it's not that big of a deal, it teaches you to focus more anyway 10/10

Dr. K is so not what most people are saying. He's really nice plus his class is super easy but fair. You do learn, plus he offers a lot of extra credit and his tests are easy. Do not avoid this professor, seriously. I am halfway through his class.

Getting the grade wise, this class is easy to pass. You don't have to pay attention because he gives you a study guide that is exactly like the test. But the lectures are a drag. And, he can be very disrespectful.

Likes discussion, whether you agree with him or not. He encourages debate and wants you to think. Tests are quite easy - right off the study guide. One term paper, and he'll help you edit it prior to submission. Found him to be a likeable teacher.

He is a VERY EASY GRADER. GIVES REVIEW GUIDES for tests which are EXACTLY ALIKE. He is opinionated and hard to understand sometimes but he doesn't mean to be rude. The man is a good person in life. Kudos for him still being there and lecturing hard after his wife passed away and being an instructor as well. Very easy and very helpful. People will complain about him being to broad or too strict. If you remain mellow he will also. His lectures are based on textbook so you can pass like cake. Papers are good.

Mr. Andacheh is a great teacher. Their are 4 tests overall, and participation is MANDATORY if you want a good grade! the Study guide is EXACTLY like the test. He has students pick a topic at the end of the semester and do an essay and other work about it. Easy Class, but lack of participation will keep you from getting and even higher grade

Amazing professor. If you enjoy a professor who stimulates discussion and critical thinking, this is your professor. If you easily get offended by different opinions, then take another class, maybe music theory would suit you better. Social sciences tend to be subjective and sociology is no exception. It was a pleasure to be in your class!

Andacheh is a great teacher! I had him last year and his class was one of, if not the, easiest class I've ever had. His tests are just memorization games; they're EXACTLY like the study guide, so you only need to remember which answer goes with which question. All of his tests are multiple choice and he doesn't assign any homework.

It's a very easy class. I would say attendance isn't mandatory,but there are participation points that are important for your grade. His tests are ridiculously easy if you complete his study guides he provides; they're the exact questions on the tests.

He's a pretty good teacher. He lectures a lot, but he has a pretty mellow class. He does get upset and have strong opinions, but I'm not the kind of person to mind. His study guides are helpful and he requires you read the book. Participation really matters.

Great Professor who is quite knowledgeable in his subject and encourages debate and class discussion. Can be controversial at times especially over religion, but nonetheless a very good professor. Read the book and go over the study guides and you will do very good in this class.

Andachech was one of the few professors i genuinely liked, he was very clear with his grading criteria. The test is exactly what was on the study guide, lecture is heavy but as long as you show up, you will do fine.

I had Mr. Andacheh for Socio 1. His Lectures are not boring at all. There actually very interesting. He enjoys his subject and it shows. But you do have to participate. His Tests are very easy, just complete the study guide and study. Easy A.

I am a returning student and Andacheh was my first class coming back after 12 years. I was soo nervous at first but after taking his class I feel more confident than ever. He is very clear on his grading. Attendance and participation are key. His study guide is literally the test except for 10 questions. You don't really need the book.

He seemed to be well traveled, has a lot of knowledge on different regions in the world. Uses a lot of references life references to help you understand the topic at hand. He does speak a lot of Iran and how different it was prior to religion taken over the country. Over all wonderful educator of you pay attention. Take your own notes to understand

Great Professor,in his lectures he does refrence his own life experiences often, as he is well traveled. He speaks of Iran and how great his country use to be prior to the religious take over. His rants are relevant to the topic at had. He has a wealth of knowledge and quick to respond to emails, I had no issue with him accepting my opinion.
