She is such a sweet teacher. Refers to her students as "cuties". :P But all in all... if you're in for a slow but moderate level then Kheck is for you. She clearly explains her material & she lets you know what is going to be on a quiz & test.

This is the second time I'm taking Math 104 and I have to say she is the teacher you should take. Clear, thorough, and understanding. The only thing she needs to improve on is keeping her class under control. Other than that she's an awesome instructor.

Ms. Sengmany is a professional, educated and confident teacher who brings her optimistic attitude and passion for teaching her students into the classroom. I have never met a sweeter, more positive teacher than her. And yes, she does refer to all her students as "Cuties!"

She moves very, very fast, so you have to pay attention!! Very structured, very fun, will give a pre-test very similar to the actual test. But you must be warned: It's very easy to pay attention to HER, but hard to pay attention to anything else in the room. VERY hot!

I have never been good at Algebra. She takes a difficult concept and explains it in such detail that anyone can understand it. Patiently answers all questions and NEVER makes you feel stupid. The only math teacher in my life who lectured so clearly that I didn't need to reference the book for help. There are no surprises in her class. All test problems are from lectures and group assignments. Just attend lectures and do stuff on time and you will do well.

She was one of the best math teachers i ever had. It was easy enough to understand without reading the book. She will slow down if you have questions and if you just show up and take notes, everything else is easy. She will give review sheets 1-2 wks before a test and she usually gives group assignments after lecture if there is time.

She is chipper and even if you hate math you might enjoy it slightly more while in her class. Like many math teachers, she seems to move very fast with writing on the board. She is very sincere in trying to make you learn. There is h/w but you don't turn it in. Will let you turn in group work late for full credit. Great teacher for hte most part!

Excellent teacher. You don't need the book for Pre-Calculus so save your money. She explains things with perfect clarity and is very helpful in math lab. Do your work in math lab and dont be afraid to ask for help. You will get an A if you ask for help. She gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit and always gives a review sheet prior to tests

This teacher is so helpful in Intermediate Algebra and in Beginning Algebra as well. I would definitely recommend her to any one who wants to learn Math or basically any one who has had a hard time learning. Her grading policy is so fair and she goes step by step on what the procedure for a math problem would be.

Also I do not have any regrets at all taking this teacher, she is one of the best math teachers that made me want to learn about math period. Take this teacher if she is available. I feel like I didn't need a textbook b/c I have not ever opened it, both this semester and last. She has assigned HW on the syllabus, but never asks you to turn it in or grade it.

This math teacher is fantastic! Always very helpful, encouraging, and positive. Started the 8 week Summer session hoping to pass with a "C." By the end I had to get a B, and I did thanks to positive reinforcement. If you have math anxiety I highly recommend Ms. Sengmany!

She is a great Math Professor and tries to reach each learning style. Took her in summer and was concerned of passing, I got a B! All her students stay in class an it is packed take notes and very little homework but study and practice her examples you will do great and love Math. Wow never thought I would say that! Great professor, and willing to help anyone who will ask. I struggled with this class previously, before taking math 104 with her but passed her class with a B. She hands out all the homework and emails it so their is no need for the text book. Really hope she teaches stats soon.

Let me just say that math is a hard subject for me but I'm really glad I took her class. Calc2 isn't easy but she made it really clear and answered every question anyone had. She color codes her lectures, HW every week, quizzes every week, test reviews, and even extra credit. You do need to study but that's expected. I definitely recommend her!

Professor Sengmany is easily the best math professor I've had at Solano. Her lectures are very clear and she is happy to answer any questions students have during lectures or afterwards. The questions on the tests and quizzes are always based on material that has been taught prior, and closely alike study guides are provided for each of the tests.

I took her for precal in the Spring, then I took Robertson for Calc 1 in the Summer and got an A(only 4/5 students in the class got an A). During Calc 1 I never felt "lost". One of the main reasons I succeeded in Calc was because she helped prepare me for it. If you take her and don't understand later on then maybe stem isn't for you.

Best teacher I've had in a while. If you go to class it's an easy A. If you skip class you'll need to read the book. Quiz almost every week. They're very easy if you have done the homework. Homework are very short (2-3 exercises). Exams are about what she has lectured and if you study the quizzes and the study guide you'll get an A. DO THE WOMEWORK

She is very energetic and color codes the math problems to emphasize each step in the problem. Towards the end of class, she hands out the assignment that you can work on alongside other students. She encourages working in groups to make sure you understand the problems.

She color codes, brakes techniques down from beginning to end. she is Available offices hrs and emails. With math, it's either you're going to understand it or it's not for you.

Mrs. Sengmany is really sweet. She's very detailed, she grades fair, you get credit for trying even if you get it wrong. She's teaches her math in color code which helps visual students learn.

Ms. Sengmanys method of explaining thoroughly the chapters in our Algebra class made me understand the subject better. I always fear all math-related subjects but she made me realized that i can learn it too and erased my doubts about my math ability. Im taking her Elem Algebra (this sem) and Intermediate Algebra classes (fall sem).

Sengmany color coordinates when teaching enabling all students to learn more efficiently. There was quizzes everyday except for Mondays which helped the material be absorbed fully. She answers any questions her students have and is really there for them. The time I spent in class definitely felt valuable and a good experience. I recommend! Snacks.

Professor Sengmany is excellent at teaching math. This was the first class I have taken from her, but if given the chance won't be the last. She is fair at grading and creates PowerPoints that outlines the key points from each section. Take her class if you can!!

If I could take her for every Math class I would! So kind and patient. NEVER makes you feel dumb for asking a question and happily will give you a refresher. Teaching style is great color codes every thing for visual students.

Seriously caring professor that wants her students to pass. The HW, tests, and quizzes are very similar to lecture so as long as you pay attention and ask questions you'll do fine! She gives lots of feedback on the work you turn in without marking you down, which is a huge anxiety reliever :) She's also sort of funny in her lectures which is nice.

Shes very sweet, I was a bit nervous taking her class because ive never enjoyed doing math, but shes so incredibly understanding about my discomfort with math, and she really pushes students to do their best. On Tuesday and Thursday, shell release assignments that she teaches via zoom. Aside from being organized and thorough, shes wonderful.

Professor Sengmany was one of my favorite at Solano. Her lectures are easy to understand and I appreciated that she made the PowerPoints and examples available to us. Overall, a great teacher!

Prof. Sengmany is super intelligent, articulate, and flexible. Her lectures are fast but thorough and helpful. She has a lenient homework policy and makes a point of giving feedback on where you went wrong. Her exams are 20% of your grade, but super short. Excellent at explaining problems and helping those who reach out.

If you need to *understand* what you are learning, I can absolutely recommend Professor Sengmany. The reading and study material is from OpenStax, meaning it is quality study material that is both accessible and affordable. The lectures are helpful, as they help demystify many formulas in digestible terms. Do the assignments ASAP to stay on track.

I'm currently in my last semester of math at Solano, and I'm very happy to say that every single one of my math classes (with the exception of MATH 011/Statistics) has been with Professor Sengmany, making this one my 4th semester. She's easily among the best professors at Solano. Posts her lectures, slides, and homework help that's genuinely great.

Professor Sengmany was very understanding and made sure that you had many chances to learn the matter when teaching. I was able to gain an in the class and remember what I learned. I would highly suggest you take her if you are considering.

Prof. Sengmany was absolutely the best. She gives really good constructive feedback on homework. Really tries hard to make sure you understand the topic. She was super helpful during office hours. Clearly very smart, and her lectures were informative, clear, and super helpful.

You're allowed to use Homework, Lecture Notes, Review Sheet and the textbook on tests. The tests were three questions and there was ample time to complete and submit the answers. The homework was usually up to 5 questions and were just the right amount of challenging. I left this class feeling more confident in my capabilities of approaching math.

Prof Sengmany is the BEST her hw and exams consisted of 2-4 problems and she is AMAZING at teaching during lectures. She also sends claw machine prizes to students who pass with an A. I wish she taught every math class

Standard schedule of lectures, homework assignments for each lesson, and in-person tests. Very step-by-step lessons are easy to understand, and you can use any notes given or taken in class for the tests. I was wary of taking a math course in the summer, but she makes it easy to follow along and not stressful at all given the shorter time frame.

Probably the best Math teacher I have had, she is very good at teaching and very organized. The lectures aren't mandatory to be in person but the test days you had to be in person for, which was usually was at the end of the week. She gives you time to do assignments and lets you use it on tests along with any study guides.

Amazing. I had a bad experience with another Math teacher (not sure why bad experiences are acceptable at Solano, especially Math) and I wish I had Professor Sengmany instead. She is caring and understanding and goes out of her way to make sure you succeed. She gives you the basics and you must apply them to solve problems.

Professor Sengmany in my opinion is the best math professor at Solano. I hate math but I really enjoyed her class, if I didn't have a major I'd consider being a statistician. I highly recommend attending her class in person if you can but if you can't she records her lecture and you can just follow her lecture in the slides.

I wish I could take her for all my math classes. You can tell she likes to teach and is made for it. Fosters a positive class environment. Always available for extra help. One of the best professors at Solano.

she's such a sweet and caring professor! I was very worried about taking math because it's always been a topic I've struggled with but she made all the material digestible and I'm passing with an A which I still find surprising. If she's able to teach any math course you need, TAKE HER you won't regret it.

Amazing professor! All the material was laid out for us and made it super easy. Lets you use notes on tests and exams and attendance isn't even mandatory since all her lectures are recorded. Assignments were due at the end of each week, but each one usually has 1-3 problems anyway. You will definitely breeze through math if you take her!

Best math professor at Solano! Took Svetlana for Calc 1, worst experience and got C. Took Sengmany, best experience, actually learned a Lot and passed with A+. Everyone has exam anxiety, but sengmany helps with that by allowing notes on the exams. Recorded lectures, so if you're busy with life, you can review material later. Extra Credit saved me

Great at teaching, good lectures. Class was a little too easy so a lot of the stuff didn't really stick. Offered lots of extra credit opportunities at the end of the semester.

Absolutely love her, Professor Kheck is one of the best professors in Solano. You can tell how much she loves teaching and willing to help students succeed. Don't be afraid to ask questions, she more than willing to help you understand the material.

This woman is the best. She invites us to love Algebra. I took three classes from her getting A in each. She brought out our best. She approached algebra and math differently than other teachers. I wish I were younger. I'd follow in her footsteps and be an after-school tutor for Junior High students. They need a Kheck in their lives. We all do.

Professor Sengmany is wonderful - she genuinely cares about students and makes the class engaging. Leveraging tools like Unstuck ai and recorded lectures helps a lot.

Easily the best math professor at Solano. Anybody who puts in any effort should be able to pass. Records lectures so attendance isn't mandatory unless theres a test. Tests are monthly varying from 1 section to 12 sections. Allows notes + plenty of extra credit towards the end of the semester. Restricting notes to 2 pages was a great move.

She is a good professor, however, we finished calc 1 five weeks early. I feel the pace was a bit too fast for me. She offers lots of extra credit which is helpful. Be kind to yourself, calc is challenging but you can do it.

AMAZING professor. Professor Sengmany actually makes her class enjoyable. She's funny and her lectures doesn't put you to sleep. You just have to put in the work and show all your work. Very understanding and willing to help you if you have any questions. HIGHLY recommend taking any of her math classes.

If math is something you usually struggle with, this is the professor for you. She's such an incredible professor who makes the material easy to understand, and breaks it down without making it boring. She lets you use notes and previous homework on the test, and is so willing to go above and beyond for her students.

Ms. Sengmany is one of the best professors at Solano. Her lectures were clear and not confusing and her homework is relatively short and easy. Her tests are also around 3-4 questions and she allows you to have notes and homework on questions. She also brings food every Friday. If you are confused on anything, don't be hesitant to reach out to her.

Homework light, has help in assignment similar problem answer lectures, long, easy first, pay attention later though, gets difficult lots of extra credit on assignments, even exam notes are allowed on the 4 exams, increasing page notes with each exam exam similar to homework very patient, caring, teacher, has a sweet voice iwish she taught all math

Prof. Sengmany is a very caring and soft spoken professor. Her lectures are concise and effective, and provides everything you need to succeed through Canvas in case you miss a day or two. She allows notes on tests, which are weekly. Overall she's a great instructor, and never shies away from helping a student who asks.

You can tell that Professor Sengmany wanted to become a teacher. Her lectures are worth it, she loves the material and teaches it so eloquently. She brings snacks for every Test and Exam, which are peanut free. Mathematic Reasoning is an easy class, if you struggle or panic at the thought of math, take Math 12 with her. Impossible to fail the class

Professor Sengmany is such an amazing professor. Het lectures are simple and all her test or open so take advantage of that. She works with you if you're missing assignments and don't understand the material. Wish she was teaching all the math classes such a rare gem at SCC.

Prof. Sengmany is an amazing instructor who makes math and calculus very easy to understand. Her lectures are simple and available on Canvas for you if you miss a couple classes. She allows notes on exams, but with the majority of your grade being exams, you still need to understand the concepts in order to do well.
