Dr. Thomas's class was easy. She gives points for attendance. If you dont miss a day, and follow the instructions for your reasearch paper to a tee, you should get an A.

Dr. Thomas is very nice. She gives points for attendance, and has you write research papers. If you don't miss any days and follow the instructions for your papers there is no reason you shouldn't get a A in her class. She makes class fun and makes time fly by. I would definitely recommend Dr. Thomas. If I can get an A, anyone can!

DON'T BUY THE BOOK- even if she tells you to. You won't use it. I spent $174 on a book and never opened it. She teaches straight from an overhead, which can be boring but overall she's a great teacher. I would take her again- she's an easy A. Drink some Redbull so you don't fall asleep!

Mixed emotions (+) highly educated, very nice, willing to help, responsive, caring.(-) PP slides are not sequenced & bulleted in proper form which makes studying a nightmare. Quizzes can be tricky. Because she is a new teacher she lacks control over the domineering folks who talk too much, but she'll get this with time. EARNED an A but hard work

Great Class, she's gives out enough information to pass the quizzes. The only time you really need the book is to study that's all. But the study guide she gives out will help you the most. You get a lot of points to show up to class. And there is an extra credit quiz at the end of the semester that will help you boost up your grade.

Considering that I'm a Psych. major, I found this class to be a breeze. She genuinely has a passion for what she is teaching and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The material is not hard and neither are her quizzes. Attendance is worth a lot and there is an extra credit quiz at the end to boost your overall grade. I recommend her for North campus

Professor Thomas is by far one of the best Psychology professors out there. She not only gives you great study tools and guides, but she actually takes the time out to make sure that the material is well understood. I also took her for PSY2012 in the Fall 2011, and absolutely loved it. Psychology is my major,so she made this an enjoyable experience

Wonderful teacher! Very sweet and pleasent. Makes the class worth coming too. Wish she had more classes at this campus because she makes learning fun. All of her test have a study guide and all of the notes in the powerpoint are posted in D2L - so you can also refer back and go over what was taught in class. Overall superb class and lovely woman!

Amazing professor and a superb class. I absolutely enjoyed the discussion. Question for the exam are from what is covered in class. Attendance is a major part of grades but overall you have to study to receive a good grade.

Dr. Thomas was genuine, pleasant, and very helpful. She was open to comments and gave points for participation in class. Class was mainly PP which she uploaded to D2L for each Ch covered. Video Quizzes and Test on mypsychlab were somewhat easy but did need to read chapters to pass. Had 1 group project at end. Highly recommend. I got an A.

Very clear and knowledgable about the material. Teaches straight from PPTs but you still need to read and study from the book. She's helpful when you're stuck and makes the class fun. Uses PPTs, textbook, and MyVirtualChild components to teach. 4 exams (info straight from material), and 4 assignments on the MyVirtualChild material. Recommend.

No final or midterm, just the homework and one essay. She's easy to talk to if you need help, and her class is never boring. I recommend to anyone.

She is one of the best professors I have ever had. Never have I been so interested in a professor's lectures like I have in her class. One of the best things about her is she is very lenient to a reasonable extent if someone always turns their assignments in on time but misses one, she is more than happy to give her students' a second chance.

Great lectures! Take notes if you want to pass the tests which include only 4 for the whole semester. Extra credit opportunities are given during every test and randomly throughout the semester. Only 1 APA format style paper having a minimum of 2-3 pages. Overall an awesome class and recommend for sure!

Prof Thomas isn't difficult, she likes her students and keeps things interesting. She enjoys teaching developmental psychology and is very enthusiastic every single class. I found her very relatable. She has a few tests but they're not an issue as she gives out study guides on D2L sometimes as early as two weeks.

Prof. Thomas was my favorite professor. Her lectures were on point with a power-point for each chapter. We had great conversations about real life experiences. All study guides are posted early for each test. Extra credit was given for attending events around the school. my class was once a week, but she fit so much information into her lectures.

I took the blended six week course and the workload didn't deprive me of having a life outside of school. I would recommend her for any psych course.

I took Professor Thomas for the second time and I continue to love her! Like DEP2004 (Developmental Psychology), DEP2002 (Child Psychology) was a great class! She makes the material understandable and easy to learn! We had a virtual child project, which was an online child we would have to take care of throughout the semester and was super fun!

Professor KhiaThompson is wonderful. She has a beautiful heart and cares about her students. The assignments and the tests were on Connect. She highlighted the parts that were important in the E- book. She was well organized. She let everyone know in advance was due and when. I wish I could take her for the rest of my classes.

1 of my classes when I first started college. Mcgraw Hill connect homework due once a week, which was easy. I believe there were 3 or 4 exams & it was 3 chapters per exam and final was only the last 4 chapters. Which was good bc she didn't combined all chapters for final. 1 paper She was a great professor, loved her lectures and gives extra credit.

This class was the best! It was so interesting and I was never bored. The lectures didn't feel like lectures at all since they were fun, and the tests were very simple - just complete the study guide and do the activities online. You do have to buy the book for the online access activities. There's one paper due at the end but it's not bad at all.

It's a pretty straight forward class, you need an online access code for connect. Its a easy fast paced class with 2 exams, a writing paper along with the connect assignments.

One of the easiest class youll ever take. I took her over the summer blended 70% online and 30% in class. Everything on connect 2 exams and 1 paper. The paper is easy. This class wasn't challenging AT ALL and I took it during a pandemic. All we had to do was take 3 fairly easy exams, and there are these weekly assignments that are also very easy. Other than that, just tune into lectures and try to participate a little. She does have a paper but nothing too crazy. Overall, it's really hard not to pass!

This teacher is AMAZING! There are 3 decently easy exams, and these are based on the weekly reading assignments with quizzes that are very easy. Her lectures are amazing, and you'd think she's one of your friends rather than a professor. I highly recommend her! Although the assignments are long and annoying, you'll definitely pass!

Professor Thomas is the best!! she is very nice and fun her lectures were never boring. She give a grade for participation and its very easy to participate, 2 exams, and 14 connect assignments. The assignments are long but they really help study if you do the homework you will be prepared for the test. Tests are open book, easy if you read!
