Really fun professor! She's very personable with her lectures, and tries to do her best to meet in the middle when it comes to students' needs versus her needs as an instructor. The homeworks are graded on a wonky scale (not bad, just interesting) that's participation based, and in-class there's no work. :) I'm in the 8-week so may be different.

Get ready to read because she does cram some novels in an 8-week course so reading/listening to audiobooks are a must, but you learn a lot. Made the grading score very clear on the onset. Assignments were easy to understand and were able to be approached with ease. Dr. Cooper is a very personable professor and willing to help to a degree. Be sure to check how long the course lasts if you choose the accelerated course you might be caught unawares. Her lectures were engaging and funny, and students were involved in the discussion constantly. The class was open to different sides, and as long as you are respectful, there isn't a problem. The content was interesting and I genuinely enjoyed a few of the assignments (didn't do too many since it was Winter-mester).

I loved her class - since this is a lower-level class, the curriculum was easy. But Dr. Cooper is really inspirational and when being in her class for a short mini-mester I learned so much about myself. She promotes critical thinking, and she is non-judgmental and is open to opposing opinions.

I took her 2-week Wintermester English 1301. It was only six days, a little fast-paced, but the lectures were detailed. She publishes an overview of what was discussed in class. No textbooks or class books are required. We had three units, and no final exam. She grades by a point system; assignments are not difficult. Paying attention = Easy A+.

Dr C is the best professor I've ever had. Honors English 1302 had plenty of opportunities to get points, outside of assignments. Instructions are very clear and it is very hard to *not* get full points on assignments. Students don't even have to do the last few assignments if they rack up enough points.

Generally an easy class as long as you do the readings but you can also get by by talking to classmates. I also appreciated being able to have open discussions and ask questions without judgement. There is an attendance policy- 3 absences before you drop a letter grade. She doesn't quiz on the reading (you'll discuss in class instead) so the attendance policy is pretty reasonable

Professor Cooper makes the lectures more entertaining, and she is a really respected teacher that I ever met. For this class, there will be a lot of reading, but don't let it scare you, and the assignments are easy to do and there is attendance mandatory. If you miss three times in class, then she will drop a letter grade, so go to class.

I took her ENGL 2341;she creates a favorable, respecting and friendly learning environment, allowing students to understand lessons in a deeper and more interesting way. Moreover, you can earn extra credit by participating in activities and events organized by the school. So don't worry too much about getting extra credit because it's very easy.

This class is very easy to be successful in as long as you put in some effort. The professor is very encouraging and wants everyone to participate in class discussions. The things we talk about are very relevant to everyday life and could be used outside of the class. She also incorporates fun things to do while we learn, which kept us engaged.

Dr. Cooper is insightful and chill. She has a strict grading system BUT there's a lot of wiggle room. You'll be given 1200 pts. and 1000 is an 'A' so 200 disposable pts. Dr. C is one of best professors Collin has! She works on a point system you are able to earn up to 1,200 but only need 900 to receive an A. I took her for english 1301 and 1302 and both times this class was a breeze. Assignments are short and to point.

Very good professor. $30 ebook or $60 paperback required, but it's well written. Lectures aren't super required, but are interesting and enjoyable, while providing good insight into the topics. The materials are pretty nicely spaced out, with about 2 items or less due each Friday and about 1 paper, 1 review, and 1 additional material due per month.

Professor C is by far my favorite professor! Hilarious lectures (uses gifs and emojis frequently), gives lots of chances for extra credit, and has clear guidelines when it comes to essays. There were 3 long essays and 3 short essays total. 15/10 do recommend!

Summer class- She is fantastic! I would retake her 100%. I would recommend everyone take her class. Her class is very relaxing, and the workload is light. Professor Cooper is pretty chill, LIKE VERY, much different to the average Professors. She does things her own ways making the atmosphere very casual. It's still a lecture based class, but it's not heavy content like history or science courses. She also responds to emails quite fast! And don't be afraid to ask for advice on anything after class!
