He's not to clear with his teachings, but is a very fair grader. I enjoyed his class as he brought in a good atitude every morning. As long as you do the all the homework...ALL then you'll get a good grade on his tests.

Kia is a great stats teacher! He is always willing to help students that are willing to put in that extra effort. He is funny and at 8 in the morning it helps so you don't fall asleep. He is super nice especially when it comes to grading your tests.

If you put forth the effort, Kia will do all he can to help you succeed in his class. He may make fun of you, but he really cares about your learning experience. At times everyone gets discouraged with the material, but hang in there!He will help you.

At first Kia scared me a bit because he is very blunt, but then I realized that if he sees that you are really trying he will help you as much as you need it. He really does care how well you do if he knows that you care. Not to metion he's a fun guy!

If you want to make math fun, take Kia's class. He is always in a good mood and like to joke with his students. Just a warning though, not everyone can handle his jokes. Besides being fun, Kia is a great teacher, and he really wants his students to understand the material.

Kia is intense (borderline obnoxious) during class, but it can be alot of fun. He is seriously passionate about his student's understanding of the subject. Kia's teaching style is fun and interactive; although, you must-must have self discipline and do the homework. Use the class time for questions and clarity while you already have a sense of the material beforehand. That's the only way to get an "A" in his class. I enjoyed it!

Being able to have a teacher who cares about their students when they don't understand certain problems is really great and having the time to explain it too. A fast-paced class, lots of homework. Come prepare to class with questions. Kia speaks fast & covers lots of material but all is organized in handouts so you can review at home. Class is very difficult for non-math people. However,Kia is very willing to help outside of class. Will never collect homework or give a study guide for the test so be prepared for a grade based on test scores alone. It's rough, but doable.

Every Class session is like going to comedy show. Kia is hilarious, but can be harsh to students at times, but its funny. I took stats in hs and i hated it, and got a D. I didnt want to take stats in college, but i had no choice. Kia changed my opinion of stats, he made it fun and ez to learn. So i recommend his class! im getting an A so far.

Go to class, pay attention, do the homework, and ask questions. The class gets harder as time goes, so don't get cocky at the beginning and think you don't have to do the homework or come to class. For someone who has trouble with math overall, this class didn't make it any easier. Kia is an available, friendly teacher, willing to help outside of class and meet for study sessions, which is good. On the downside, there is so much material presented in so little time, it's difficult to organize and make sense of it all by test time.

When he enjoys teaching, he'll definately make you enjoy the time in class. His tests are straight forward and there's no homework that needs to be turned in. But doing the hw best helps the students to understand the material. Attending every class is a must because skipping one day will throw you off/ confuse you.

It was great to learn statistics from Kia because he really understands the subject. He found many ways to simplify the material, and was very clear about what we would be tested on. His lecture notes were excellent. Kia was also very friendly and he provided a relaxed classroom environment. I highly recommend him as a professor.

I usually hate math classes and I didn't dread going to this one Kia keeps things pretty light and he can be pretty funny. He tends to give you last semester's test the class before the test, which is really helpful. It's not easy but if you try a decent grade is attainable

The class was a bit tough, 4 midterms and 1 final. But drop the lowest score. The one problem in this class was not having enough time on tests. You must put a decent amount of time in studying to get an A. Do not take his class if you don't have a sense of humor.

The summer stats class went very fast although Kia is a great teacher with an awesome sense of humor. His humor is the best thing about taking the class cause it keeps you awake. Took the summer course (6 weeks), went by quickly because Kia was always joking around probably to keep everyone awake during a boring subject. Take notes and attend class everyday and do the problems on the worksheets he gives you, no need to buy the book. Grades easily since he considers a 60 a C. Would def recommend taking this teacher

kia is joke around teacher but gets the job done. keeps in the class excited and not falling sleep in class. he explains the materails with many examples, just study for the exams and you will be good in the class. he's a easy teacher no problem passing

FUNNY and strict, but the amount of homework is INSANE! Class & homework require 30 hrs/week. This is just ONE class!! If you have other classes, a job, a wife, kids, or expect to do anything other than his class you are fooling yourself. Holy Homework Batman! The tests aren't bad bec they're based on homework, but WTF with the homework?!
