I thought I would enjoy the class subject more. I was always unclear on exactly what was wanted for projects. Grades are dependant upon several large group projects. The book was of no use. She was disorganized in the Fall but this was her first fulltime semester. I got an A easily

At first I was scared of all the homework and papers she expected through out the semester. It was her first time teaching the MKT3301 at Uhd and then she had a family crisis.So class ended up being pretty light. Good luck to anyone who takes MKT3301 with her this spring.

Professor Gleason is GREAT, but the work/projects really SUCK because 70% of your grade is group/team projects (not cool if you are in a group of slackers - she picks teams). She's quite hyper at times, but tollerable. P.S. DEPT CHAIR: She doesn't cancel class a lot, but at times I wish she had!!

This is an easy class if you are a team worker. The only thing is last minute changes to projects right before they are due. Fun, and very energetic with her Diet Coke. Would recommend this class to anyone. (And doesn't cancel classes)

Took this class Spring of 05. Was skecptical at first because of the whole group thing. However, it turned out to be pretty good. My group was very cooperative. Assignments were easy and she made the class interesting. If any memeber of your group is free riding you can kick them out the group showing proof. I recommend that any student take her.

Excellent professor. Took this in Summer II and it was a very enjoyable class. She is very insightful and animated. You can tell that she enjoys what she does and is passionate about the subject matter. Also very easy on the eyes. Beware of group work and the dreaded 'slugs'. I made an A.

One word... AWESOME! I was nervous about this class at first, but it turned out to be one of my favorites... I had a lot of fun. You are set into teams in this class, and even if you are that shy introvert I feel like she makes the projects appealing for everyone.

If you think this professor is hard, college is definitely not the place for you. This class was easy. The teacher even eliminated half the work load. There's only one group project, and the individual work is simple. I haven't finished the class yet but all the grades I have are above 97.

Business Cornerstone is based on group work and if your pursuing a Business Degree and are complaining about Group Projects then your obviously pursuing the wrong major. She is very clear, gives great explanations on topics, and is always available for extra help. I couldnt Imagine anything else she could have done to be a better teacher.

This class is based on common sense. Most material on the tests are based directly from the book and some is based on the lectures. She tells the page numbers needed for review for the test, so this class is a really easy A.

Great teacher! She kept class interesting, so that we could have meaningful discussions over the topics discussed in her syllabus.

She brings such energy and enthusiasm to the class and the discussions are interesting. Class is not too difficult if you attend. Professor Gleason very clear. Her test are not that hard if you study you should get at least a B on them. Not many presentations only two total and one is with a team. At first you will think it's a lot of work but in the end it's really not. You really learn in her class. She does pick on people though from time to time so be ready. I recommend.

Absolutely hilarious how the first day of class the teacher said she reads the comments on ratemyprofessor. She is not an easy A and you do have to work hard to get that A. This was one of the first classes I took as a transfer student at UHD. Professor gives you the amount of work you would expect for an upper division class, but not too much. Took online and she is always involved in the class. Tests can be hard if you don't study. They are over CONCEPTS not FACTS so you can't just "look up" the answers.

I took her online 3300 class. There are a lot of little discussions that you do, which are easy 100's to get. The tests are only challenging if you don't read the chapters, but she tells you exactly what to read so it's not difficult. There was one project and one research paper, which you can work with other people making it easier.

Took Online course. Doesn't really instruct the course, but as long as you login once a week for online discussions and to take exams you should be fine. Test are under 2 hours so have your notes ready!! Project and Paper are pretty easy and you can be in a group. Pretty relaxed online course.

I took the Bus. Cornerstone class online and it was super easy. Two projects (one mandatory with a group, the other you can use a group if you like). She gives you study guides for each test so login, participate in the discussions, and use the study guides and you'll get an A.

Mrs. Gleaseon had a really tough semester however she was still able to let it not effect her teaching. very energetic and optimistic. She cares for students to pass, and gives opportunites to make up with extra credit. one of the good teachers. wish she teached other subjects.

(Some of the correct answers are closely related to the wrong answer) So definitely study in this class when it comes to the tests! The final is comprehensive so STUDY the past exams and you'll make a high B or A on the final. Also, a team project and 10 page paper. I love this professor. She is very understanding and she has a passion to teach! BEST & I mean BEST professor at UHD. We made a “B” on the 10pg paper but after her feedback on it we understood why. She amazing, dynamic and passionate about the subject! The online test was hard for me but the in person test were great without the time pressure!

Mrs. Gleason is an excellent professor. She gives one midterm, one final, several participation writing assignments and a 6-8 page group paper. She loves teaching and she is always willing to help her students succeed. I would take this class again. She gives very little extra credit but it is not needed. The test are very straightforward.

There was a volunteer must-do with a reflection paper, mock interview, one group project. She spoke about her exams as if they were the hardest thing to do, but in reality they were easy as long as you study what she tells you to. Pretty hilarious and awesome at lecturing. I didn't have the book so she provided me with scans after emailing her my problem. She was extremely helpful and understanding. Do the work and study with the practice exams she provides, and you'll do great.

Tough teacher with a great personality. She really cares and shows you that she cares. She is very smart so don't try to fool her even though she doesn't show it. I respect her a lot and appreciated her help. Fun activities and assignments in groups. I do recommend her

I took Business Cornerstone for the credit and as I expected it's not very hard. There are very few assignments and none of them are all that difficult.

Great teacher. Took her for spring semester and overall class can be easy only if you do your homework and study for exams. she also gives extra credit to improve your grade.

Great professor. Class is not very difficult overall if you focus on the key topics she tells you are important. The midterm and final have a few questions which are a bit tricky, requires you to understand the material not just memorize key words. One group project where participation matters big time. Not hard. I made an A and didn't stress.

Professor Gleason was a very clear and uplifting instructor. You won't be disappointed and you will want to come to class every day. She will let you know what to study on the exams and as long as you keep up with your notes an turn in your work you will do good.

This class isn't difficult but there are many projects. You have a midterm and final with the final NOT being comprehensive. There are several papers and a resume/interview project. You also have one group project and 4 discussion boards. You are required to attend a service day at the Houston Food Bank and write a paper over your day.

Professor Gleason is one of the few good ones that actually wants you to succeed. I took her class online and did not feel like I was on an island. Be prepared to come to campus to take mid term and Final or pay fee for proctor. Only gotta was the final exam which was extremely hard (comprehensive).

Dr. Gleason was amazing to take on a winter minimester. Her course was laid out in a way that had realistic expectations and she was awesome at doing zoom meetings so all your questions could get answered. Follow the hints and study tips she gives you and you will do great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Flexible late assignment policy. Great job of emailing reminders about assignments. HRD minor, this class was required in order to take nonbusiness major classes. Take her!

Great professor. I learned real-life things from her, as opposed to a professor who just repeats what the book says. Her exams are of average difficulty and grades papers fairly. My only con is that her course is not as planned out as I wish (she admits this in class), but that's just me being an obsessive planner. I highly recommend her.

She is a great professor. I have learned a lot from taking her class. She engages herself in teaching and would answer students' questions with a smile. If you come to take, take note and study, getting an A isn't that hard. But make sure you study for the midterm and final exam because they take up 50% of the grade.

Best prof ever! Her online class is very well organized and all assignments are clear. She sends deadline reminders. Lots of reading but not impossible to do. Just don't procrastinate. Take Gleason online. I work full-time w/kids taking two other classes and I made a B. Assignments are manageable and easy to understand. Cyberlectures are crucial to passing her 2 exams, midterm and final. 4 discussions, 3 easy papers, resume and CV ltr, 1 mock interview, 1 group presentation, 4 hrs of svc @ HFB. Best part, gave a 20 pt curve .

So this teacher is sooo good. Tests are straight from lectures. If you go to class the tests are easy but still should study. One group project which I enjoyed, also volunteered at the food bank which was a good experience.

I took Mrs. Gleason online for BA 3301. She is an amazing teacher. There are several particpation grades which definetly helped my grade out in the end. She gives great feedback and was even willing to help with my resume after the class had ended.

She is a great teacher because she is great at communication and explains is good detail what she expects on her work. She has two tests, a group project and a business report. It is work, like most classes, but she doesn't swamp you with extra assignments and gives great feedback.

You can tell that Professor Gleason takes pride in what she teaches. Everyday she will come in with great energy and get you motivated to learn. First half of the semester is all about the text. Second half of the semester is primarily group work and out of class assignments with little text. Her study guides are helpful but tricky test questions.

Took her hybrid class. Excellent professor. She really cares that you learn the material so you can apply it to real life. Very clear and passionate. Material is not hard at all. Attend lectures, light reading, you will do well. One group project: push to meet with your mates, put in some effort and you'll get an A.

Prof. Gleason is amazing! I took business cornerstone with her and she's definitely great at explaining. She is really fun. You will have group projects, but they will be easy. Her midterm isn't hard, but it is a lot. The final was easier than the midterm. Don't sweat it. This class will be a breeze!

Professor Gleason is one of my favorite professors or all time. The work is clearly outlined and she's wonderful at lecturing. You won't fall asleep in her class. She's entertaining and gives specific examples of what's going to be on the quizzes or tests. If I could, I'd take her again.

Wasnt a hard class but it wasnt easy either. Sometimes assignments can be all over the place but grading was clear.

She amazing loved having her class. Didn't even pass the midterm and still passed the class. There are two exams midterm & Final. Some quizzes but you can retake them until you like your score. Oh the test are in person or with proctorU. She gives reviews for test which gives you answers. Paper & Volunteer work& Group Project also. She amazing.

Awesome professor! Really enjoyed the class. Without professor Gleason teaching the course seems like it would be boring. But professor Gleason is so passionate about what she does and finds ways to explain otherwise hard to understand concepts. She gives great examples which are very helpful in understanding new content.

I took her summer 1 Ba 3300 class, and she was very helpful. And if I needed any help/ extension she allowed it which was nice. I would take her class again.

Follow her advice and take little time each day to study for the final exam , try to get started on the group project early, and you should get an easy A

She is very easy and she tries to help as much as possible. The exam is very easy. The only thing that I hated about this class was a group project. Nevertheless, she called me and told me that in case of difficulties with the group, that would not be counted towards the grade. I would definitely take her again!

Professor Gleason is incredible, she really cares about her students. She has few assignments and isn't test heavy. There are a few multiple-attempt quizzes, midterm, and final. There was one team project but you're able to do it individually, it's a lengthy Business Plan Project but you have an entire month. I would definitely recommend her class.

Loved this professor. She was so kind and caring. You can tell she really wants you to succeed. She still holds live zoom classes in an online class set up, which I loved. Overall, it was a pretty easy class but a good way to get an introduction to business concepts.

She was a great professor one of the best at UHD. We only had 4 deadlines really made it possible to work at your own pace. Highly recommend taking this prof if you can!
