This is a very good instructor. She is funny, professional, and works very well with students. She wants you to succeed, and takes it as a personal victory when you do. Great classes, very applicable to the real workplace.

Professor Gordon was professional and entertaining. I didnt expect to learn much but was required to take this class. I learned more practical things here than I've ever learned before. She has years of real experience in the HR field. If given the choice, I'd chose her for a professor again.

Good teacher! You have quiz every week bc its an 8 week course. You usually get to use notes or work as a group. you have to do a couple presentations but they are not hard. Your first one includes introducing yourself to the class. Easy grader tries to help you out as much as possible.

I thought that she was an awesome teacher, she had very interesting lectures and was always helpful and honest to me. I would definitely take another one of her classes again. Her class was tough but she makes it fun and interesting and is helpful on the grading.

Dr. Gordon is a good teacher. Her tests are difficult. She does not let you go back once a question is answered and if you have not studied thoroughly, you will find yourself running out of time. Expect to be treated like a upper level student in regards to writing style. Discussion boards are very in depth. She requires you to know the material.

Tough class. There are a numerous amount of expectations for this class. Your grade is the amount of effort you put into the class. If you put in the effort and do what is asked this class will be a life lesson and prepare you for every college course from Junior to Senior year. Take full advantage of what you learn out of this course.

Definitely get the grade you deserve with the effort you put into the class. If you read, study, and do what she is asking then you should have no problem passing this class. Dr. G is an AMAZING instructor and will make sure you are more then prepared for your Junior and Senior level classes.

Dr. Gordon is an awesome professor, yes she does give lots of opportunities for bonus. You do however have to work very hard. It is a very enjoyable class, groups are great due to the fact you only have about 5 people that you converse with on the DB posts. These are easy points, DO THEM! The tests are tricky too. All around a great class!

Not a difficult class, but you do learn a lot. Just do all of the work and pay attention to due dates and you'll get a good grade! She gives great feedback after she grades every assignment.

She is a great teacher! She pushes you to become a better leader and pushes you to do better each week. You do have to work for your grade but if you do your work you will do well in the class. There are four tests and one paper and she gives you optional bonus points.

At first, I was not sure of the class, but after being in the class for a couple weeks Mrs. Gordon was growing on me. She's very caring and she cares about you succeeding in her class. I love the push she gives us and its only practice to becoming a great leader.

Dr. Gordon is a great online professor. One of the better teachers I've had. She responds quickly to emails and questions, explains why you received the grade you got, and actually wants you to succeed in her class. If you like to take online courses and need this class for your major I recommend both her and this class.

I am currently in the online section of this class, it is a lot of work but you learn a lot and professor Gordon is very good about giving feedback, and is very helpful. Read the chapters and do your work and you should do fine.

I am currently taking this class online. Participation is a must and the more participation you provide the better grade you will receive. Dr. Gordon gives great feedback and gives many opportunities to receive bonus points throughout the semester. If you do what is expected of you within the class, then you will do fine.

Professor often relates lectures to real world scenarios. Especially helpful since this is a course for anyone in a management/working position. Presentation of material made much of the topics covered easy to remember. I felt that I learned several things through out the course that will help me in day to day life and as an effective leader.

Participation in class is how you get a majority of points but she has a system set up to ensure everyone participates equally. She does offer a few ways to receive extra credit which I recommend taking advantage of whenever possible. Overall she has a lot of work experience and real life examples. She is funny and relates to students personally.

DKG is a great professor. She is very clear about what she expects from you and what you have to do on a weekly basis.

As long as you do what is required and put forth your all for this class you will pass with either a A or B. You will make a C if and only if you choose to be mediocre. Test are open book final you can pass them if you know the material. She frequently offers bonus points. As well as great teacher to ask any question and get immediate feedback.

Be prepared for Bell work its super easy and it counts as a huge chunk of your grade. Be prepared to work for a grade, dont expect to just pass. Its a great class, and shes a great professor. This professor had an very interesting and unique way of conducting her class. When you walked into class and picked up a note card and the discussed the topic on the card with the whole class. The PowerPoint on blackboard was very helpful with test. Dr. G's teaching style really helped me learn a lot more than I expected.

Dr. Gordon likes to have group discussions in class over the reading for the week. It is helpful to read beforehand but not necessary if you forget one week. Her discussions really helped me because I am an auditory learner. Dr. Gordon really wants her students to succeed and will help you outside of the classroom if you need it.

Really good teacher and engages with students. Be ready to read your chapters in order to get participation grades, so I recommend coming to class. Everything was online besides the final.

She grades 1/3 for participation/attendance so make sure you show up. This class is really interesting when taught by Dr. Gordon and she tells a lot of crazy stories that you wouldn't find in a book. The tests are online and open note so studying a little beforehand would be good, but not required, depending on how you listen in class.

Dr. Gordon is great, you will learn a lot from her class. Test is somewhat difficulty if you don't study. Even though this class is a hybrid, you are still expected to do readings through blackboard.

I took this course as a "filler" course. Dr. Gordon was an excellent teacher. Attendance wasn't required however she gave easy class participation points. She cares about each student and was very helpful when I needed a little more explaining on some topics.

This class has been very helpful not only for this class, but for other classes as well. She graded fairly and gave just enough assignments to learn what this course needed to get through.

I have taken a few of Dr. Gordon's courses as a non-traditional student with very limited time around work and family. Dr. G ensures you are successful with quick responses and support. I have enjoyed and learned many new skills taking her WFL course.

The discussion board posts have to done ahead of time because they are quite lengthy. You will have a chance for extra credit and if at all possible do the extra credit work in case you mess up on a test. The content isn't super difficult, but you definitely have to put in work if you want to make an A. You'll realize that the textbook is almost always necessary to do the homework, but it's not boring. They're often thought provoking, especially the weekly journals. Also: DO NOT SKIP YOUR WEEKLY JOURNALS! The points can add up very quickly.

Dr. Gordon is fast at replying, gives great feedback, and wants to see you do well in her course. She is strict when it comes to grammar but she does provide you with tools on how to improve your writing. You do have to work for your grade but I would take her again!

I felt The testing was difficult because there was so much material to cover with such a short time limit on the tests. I also feel that Dr. Gordon is great at teaching writing skills. She certainly opened my eyes and mind with her very constructive feedback. My writing skill level increased by up to eleven levels.

Human Relations- uses Cengage, easy homework, semi difficult section tests (50 mc, multiple attempts, not shown correct answers), but hefty final paper Overall a medium level workload. Very interesting class! Not a complete blow off class but still recommend! Worth it to have a reliable and helpful professor

Dr. Gordon had the course assignments posted the first day of class. You can work at your own pace, but do not fall behind. The text is over 700 pages, and you will read it ALL over 8 weeks. Dr. G responds quickly to questions, will meet with you to re-sharpen your formal writing skills, and gives great feedback on assignments. Highly recommend!

I loved her and learned so much in this class about the Civil Rights.

Didn't know I didn't know much about civil rights and the workplace. No textbook needed because Dr G used material from the government such as Library of Congress and the Department of Labor. Plus she had lots of videos and other things available.

Awesome course - hard if you don't stay on schedule because there is lots to read and watch. Course is easy to navigate in Blackboard with reminders on due dates in several locations and also things that earn points are highlighted so you know what is due when. Easy to follow but don't skip or you get behind (had a death but Dr G worked with me).

Dr. G is one of the best professors I have ever gotten the chance to have. She is very understanding, patient, and very helpful with anything you need. Her class though can be essay heavy, they are always enlightening!
