Worst professor and class I ever had. She doesn't use slideshows or any visual aid. She just lectures the whole class and excepts you to write and remember everything she says. The writing assignments she makes you do are so stressful. Her midterms are hard and time crunching because you have to memorize and write a essay. Avoid her!

I got an A in her class, but it was a miserable experience. She acts like her class is the only class anyone is taking and assigns a ton of work and reading. She demands everything be done HER way and to the letter. She is extremely impatient and focuses more on if you did it her way rather than the quality of the finished work.

Her exams are open note. There's a lot of note taking but once you take the first exam you figure out what to write down & what to just listen to. The first part of class is discussing the readings which aren't long. She's an old school professor who's passionate about her subject & doesn't tolerate students disrupting class which is refreshing.

Old school professor! Only lectures. She requires you to do online textbook homework that will contradict what she says in class. It is s more of a get it done homework. You will also be forced to complete outlines of texts that she gives you. They do not make much sense because it is how she takes her own notes.

Dr. Gruenwald is a very available professor and always asks if there's any questions, but her class is extremely difficult. There's no visual slideshow, only lectures formatted as a story. There are 3 article outlines, 3 open note exams, and 14 chapters of online assignments you can look up on quizlet. I would recommend using an AI note recorder.

She was honestly not very nice to her students or sometimes her TAs. She would make TAs regrade when she thought they were too lenient. Her classes were solely lectured, and the answers on the (completely handwritten essay style tests) were based on the lectures that were structured weird, and she would forget to mention important dates.
