I should have had my grade adjusted early in the semester due to a mistake made by my foreign ta in grading my paper, she will NOT listen to anything you say, a grade is a grade, even if the ta is pleading your case!
I found this professor to be very helpful. I notice a lot of people gave bad remarks, not sure why. She always listened to students and gives really good advice. Yes, i agree she is a little bossy, but you can look pass that - j
She does not really care what the students think, and does not actually do anything for the class. All the work is done by the TAs who are extremely unaccomodating. The discussions are worthless, but if you don't go your grade will slip a lot.

I don't know what these people are talking about. Yes, it's annoying that it's at 8:30, but thats not decision. SHe tries to make class interesting by doing exercises in class and relating the material to the real world. Weekly HW's, but you can do them in like 15 min. Tests are easy if you study.

Everyone who rated Kim poorly did not do well in her class. The class is great, but it is tough, so stop being babies and do some work for once! HW's annoying, but quick, tests are difficult but clear if you study like she tells you! Great class, have no fear!

the class is good cause all the outside work u do can get u a good grade even if your test are bad. kim herself is annoying and not really helpful. she barely gives any insight on anything, i had to learn most of it from the TA Mike who was great. He's really the only bright spot of the class
for you ignorant people, this is the most helpful class you will take. really teaches you about what it is like out there. tests are fair, h.w. is easy. papers are EASY, as long as you put some effort into it. she knows her material well. not friendly with students. GREAT CLASS
A very understanding professor. I was bummed that I feel a point short of a B+, but she was very cordial when I talked to her. Don't like the fact that the class is at 8:30 but that's the time it's always been. I don't like the PRS questions or few quizzes that much, even though it's extra credit.

I rarely speak so strong for one professor. The advises she provided inside/outside of the class is truely valuable. I admit there is a good amount but worthful works! A class you truely learn, develop and apply. It is not for ignorant/irresponsible student. Her class is fun, exciting & valuable!
Such an annoying voice to hear at 8:30am. Its great because you do a lot of outside work and she gives study guides for the exams. I didn't go to MOST of the lectures and still did well. If you use the study guide and refer to the text and power point slides for the papers you'll be fine.

I found her class challenging, but her teaching style very clear. The tests were not easy but relatively predictable. I thought she was fair and enjoyed the variety she brought in her teaching style.
Her voice and enthusiasm is a little much at 8:30 in the morning, but overall her class is very straightforward and easy. A lot of the homework seems like busy work though
The only reason she gets a bad rap is because she likes students to show some interest, if you do she will bend over backwards to help you. Just show up for class, skim the chapters before the class, and spend time studyin her notes and the highlighted words in the test before the test. The individual and group papers are graded so easily.
dont bother attending this pure bs class but read the textbook inside out. u should get at least an A-. i find her staged kindness and enthusiasm annoying. made us buy custom textbooks so we cant sell it out. just use last semesters book and photocopy the last case study for the group project from ppl who are dumb enough to buy the new edition.

She was very vague, would not answer direct questions, did not answer emails in a timely manner. Taking this class took all of my time. It should be worth 16 credits, not 4. she forced us to work with an org. that we did not like. Class could have been great but she made it unbearable.
amazing class, it requires a lot of work and you will be lost at times but later on all the pieces will fit together and help you out later in life. She is the best teacher i ever had and really cares about her students
Amazing class extremely hard yet you will feel so accomplished and amazed with what you did by the end of the semester.
Most work you'll ever do for a class but the most rewarding experience you'll ever have. Make time for the class and it'll be worth it. Extremely impressive in interviews.
Amazing professor! Dynamic, caring, funny, smart as hell, AWESOME. She wants to see her students succeed and help them learn as much as possible about themselves and their abilities
Kim is awesome. On the first day, her 12yr old son lead lecture, outside, and had us write creative stories using a closet as an extended metaphor for college. This was day one. Kim will change how you think, make you more creative and inspire you. Must take for engineers, artists or anybody who needs to get out of themselves and make something.
Doesn't reply to emails. Expects the class to think she some consulting ninja without providing some reason first. literally no syllabus and no grading criteria. you have to participate and be super crazy outgoing and if she likes you, you'll maybe get an A. You never know what to expect and you never know what she expects from you. Can't say I've gained much from this class and I don't recommend this class.
Jaussi is easily the worst professor I've ever had. She lacks a syllabus and has zero guidelines; students are left wondering what to do then are heavily ridiculed. We are asked to rank the top 5 and least 5 innovative students in class, which is incredibly demoralizing. Your grade is essentially contingent upon the opinion and ranking of others.
She might be the worst professor I have ever had. She gives absolutely no criteria for how you are doing in the class. There's no syllabus, if you ask her about your grades, she will tell you that you are missing the point of the class and to stop worrying about it. She also makes you revise everything 500 times until its "good enough." No bueno.

Kim.... oh kim.. hope you are reading this. My semester was ruined by this class (not exxageration). Class has no grading rubric, and she has super high expectations which can never be met. Her teaching and her assignments are impossible (if you can even call what she does teaching). If she ever tells you it is an easy A, never believe her.
Avoid this professor at all costs, she is the worst I've ever encountered. You will constantly be on your toes (not in a good way), wondering what your grade is. It is very telling that 99% of her students end up disliking her. SOM should be ashamed to allow this "professor" to teach here.

She is a really bad professor guys, your life will be turned upside down and you will stay up at night wondering why you chose to take her class. Now that the fall schedule is out, I see people signing up for her class and i am like why? Have you not read the horror storys.
This professor's online class was surprisingly easy, but she would never respond to emails when things were confusing. She also was bad at laying out what exactly we had to do, and would not respond to emails asking for clarification. I would not take a class with her in-person, but online she wasn't awful, and the class was an easy 1 credit.
Do not take her course! She is awful. She does not answer emails and she makes you re do your work over and over. She will try to convince you take continue a 4 credit class to the next semester! She changes her mind again and again. She likes to drive her students crazy. She yelled at me in her office because I had a question! Do not take!

I find it ironic and hilarious that she teaches classes meant to help you become a better and more creative leader. If you read the reviews, it is pretty easy to tell that she is one of the most disorganized and worst "leaders" offered to us students. If you read all these reviews and still take her class, I honestly don't feel bad for you.
The comments on here are brutal because Kim pushes her students to think harder. Her class provides more real-world experience than any other I've experienced. It's a lot of work but definitely worth it.

This class derailed my semester. Jaussi acts as if this is your only class. She overworks students, and gives a lot of busywork at the beggining of the semester. Do not take any of her classes do not have to.
This class was emotionally and mentally taxing. I would not suggest to anyone. Glad I'm out.
Jaussi thinks hers is the only class you're taking. Last minute presentations, uncertainty of how class will go, 10-12 readings a week, and fearing her disapproval were all the norm in this class. I learned nothing about strategic leadership. If you need this class for your concentration, switch your concentration. This class consumed my life.
Please never take this class for your own sanity... Read the reviews and if you still take it after seeing this I don't feel bad for you.

Do not take any of her classes under any circumstances. She is the worse teacher in the whole entire university guaranteed. She will make your life a living hell and that is a promise. She has so much coercive power over her students and she totally abuses it.
Jaussi is the worst teacher in the School of Management and the entire University. She clearly plays favorites and makes all of her students lives 1 million times more stressful than they need to be. If you need this class for your concentration, I highly recommend changing your concentration. Do anything you can to not take any of her classes.
Prepare to read a lot, analyze, be creative, and be on top of all classes and tasks. She is thinking outside the box, and that makes her tough professor. She is different, and makes you work hard. But she gives good insights that will help you further in life. I personally enjoyed her classes!
Kim is a caring professor, but the class has a lot of moving components from readings (textbook, HBR, etc) to champion logs to a personal development plan. It feels a bit disorganized with everything going on, but in the end, it's an unconventional type of class, to say the least. Just get ready to read, prep questions, and participate in class.
Teacher does not teach like she should, she provides no instructions for all assignments, she attempts to follow her syllabus to the letter with very little wiggle room for adapting to any problems nor slowing down for her students if they do not understand what is happening, she expects you to treat this class like a job for no pay and 4 credits.
Please avoid at all costs. I am a straight A student who has never gotten a letter grade anywhere near this she grades you very poorly and put all the grading stress on are final project. Where she grades off your peers opinions so be ready to make sure everybody in your group likes you. Do not take if you want to keep your sanity.
Plays favorites, random groups, expects you to make the class a major priority, lots of work, and always has complaints about your submissions. However, switching concentrations to avoid her is ridiculous. Not THAT unbearable. The work is kinda easy, no tests, and cancels class somewhat often. Just take the bullet if you have to it's not that deep.
Get ready for lots of tedious, busy work. Plays favorites. Makes you revise an assignment a bunch of times over. Doesn't provide clear directions/examples. Picks your teams, so if you don't like your team well good luck. Doesn't respond to communication quickly. This class was a nightmare!
If you can avoid taking this professor do it!!
She'll never directly say what she wants from an assignment, so you HAVE TO email for critiques. If you don't, she will put your work up and criticize it in front of everyone. Theres a lot of reading, random last minute assignments, and random teams, but no tests/evaluations. It's just a class full of busy work! Do all of it, and you'll get an A.
