She is a very outgoing teacher. He is very helpful. She cares a lot about her students. She will work with you.

Doesn't take crap from students but will work with you. She is beautiful inside and out, and she makes you feel like you are also. I learned thing in her class that can't be taught from a book. Respect her and you will recieve respect and understanding in return.

Walking in this class you might thinnk shes hard but she definitely knows how to teach. She makes sure you understand every single terminology not just through the text book but in everyday use. I loved her class she is extremely passionate and really funny. She will work with you if your struggling and her test are not hard at all.

dr. metcalfe is not only a great professor, but has a wonderful heart as well. she really cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. you learn a lot in the class without having to do too much work, but don't expect to be able to slack. metcalfe brings a lot of insight and experience into her lectures so they always stay interesting.

At first I did not like her but as time went on i fell in love with her. She really cares about us. She does a great job at explaining all of the information in a way that it fits together and makes sense. She is really good at listening and helping you out of a tough situation too!!

She is a great teacher who really cares about her students. She always keeps you laughing and it was my favorite class to go to. You never need a book because you just use a packet of notes that she gives you but it is not an easy A. You have to pay attention but you can get an A. She is hilarious and knows how to have fun.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Take her! Easy course, she's completely crazy and it made time fly in my 4 hour class. Extremely understanding and works with you to understand the material. She's very eccentric, has cool tattoos. But don't make the mistake of being late on a test day. Will lock you out of the class. And follow her directions!

OK So I had to study and still only earned a C but I learned how to study better she gave a study session for people who wanted to stay after class. It helped me get better grades than before. Metcalfe connects the dots so you know why you need to know the stuff she is teaching. The best teacher I had in a long time.

From the first day I liked her attitude. She dropped people who didn't show up so those trying to add could get a code. Some make us wait and return like our time isn't important. Metcalfe knows her material and she makes class fun. Wish there were more like her! Beautiful to look at, but married so I had to forget about it.

This was the best teacher I had ever taken in college. I took her for 3 classes but this last time I took her she was different. She was very unorganized started class late and was very unreasonable. Took her during winter for EAR 20. Seriously an easy class. Don't buy a textbook, because she gave us all the material we needed. No homework, no notes, no essays. She's funny, and also extremely liberal. If you don't want to listen to democratic lectures, then she's probably not for you.

Whoever said they did not learn anything must have not put their own effort in it. I like that she offers the option to buy the notes. She does not make any money off her notes.

I used the notes like a study guide would get a better grade but didn't study enough I thought I understood everything cause lectures were so good. But study or you won''t get a good grade.

Metcalfe is a spectacular instructer.She writes her own textbook which sells at half the price of the required book each semester so you don't have to waste your money and you only read information that will actually be in your test.She has an open door policy,breaks information down,and only has class once a week.Only two assignments a semester!!

Honestly I loved her! She was funny, yet she knew how to teach. Her homework was mostly to read chapters and do some critical thinking questions. I loved what I learned; the 5-selves, the brain, etc. She offers her own notes(a note packet ($60))that are very helpful because they include all the main ideas that she talks about and are on the tests.

Dr. Metcalfe is the best teacher ever. I took all of her classes last semester and she helped me through it the whole time. Whenever you have a question she is willing to answer (even on her break and lunch time). She absolutely adores her students. She is kind of strict when it comes to cell phones and lateness but it is all worth it. TAKE HER!!!!

Dr. K may have her issues, but who don't. She is "real, genuine and a people lover. She does use a lot of profanity but you'll survive. As for the class material, long as you study what she tells you to study, which comes straight from the book, youll pass. She is brilliant and loving person. I recommend you take her class.

I highly recommend buying her note packet. Everything in it is exactly what she tests you on and it does not cost much, especially compared to books for other classes. You need to go to lecture, and you need to pay attention. She does go off topic from time to time, but if you raise your hand and tell her she gets right back on track.

Dr. Metcalfe is my motivations to keep going forward in school. To this day I still us her books for other classes because they are much more organized and direct then other textbooks. She makes her own textbooks and everything you need to study for her tests are on the book. P.S Thank You for making a difference in you students lives!

This professor cares about her students. She teaches you exactly what you need to know. She makes note packets, these are essential. If you spend the money on the note packet you will have all you need for every exam and assignment.
