Mrs. Molinaro is one the BEST teachers at SPC, hands down. She taught the so well that I barely had to study for the exams. She does a lot of critical thinking exercises in class so that you really learn, which is why I didn't have to study so much. She's a fair grader and runs statistics on every single question on every single test. Take her!

While she is a very, very nice professor, I hate that she is constantly saying "I do this because everyone learns differently!" snd yet she is my only prof who does NOT use a power point. If you are a visual learner I would not suggest taking her class because it can be very difficult to follow along. other than that she's a great teacher.

3 tests and a final, 4 study activities that must be attended for an hour each and a paper that is split in four sections and worth 40% of total grade. Class is not easy, but this professor is awesome!! Take her!

Honestly, the class was not that easy or anything but, she made it so interesting that the work was enjoyable. I have her in the mornings and she was always so peppy that after her class I actually felt more awake. She is very understanding and will always respond to e-mails. I loved her class.

Probably one of the best professors at SPC and if you are looking for 3 easy credits for social & behavioral sciences take general psychology with this professor. There is 3 tests and two of them are online and there is 1 paper that you must complete and its not due until the end of the semester, and then the final exam, this was an easy A.

If you are looking for a fun, quirky, caring teacher, well you've got her! She wanted to be a comedian in her younger years, so she makes a lot of jokes and hopes you'll laugh. the class is very light and fun, but very information filled. she uses up all of the time, but her lectures are fun and you wont get bored.

Molinaro thinks she is funny and hot. She tries to be bubbly all the time, but to me, it comes off fake. Her tests are easy but she assigns a difficult research essay on a mental illness of a celebrity which lasts the whole semester long. She never cuts class short and in order to get an A students will have to go to class everyday.

Tests are not easy A, but if you study you'll get at least a B on them. Prof wants you to succeed and offers some easy points and extra credit to help. A two part paper is required (about 2000 words total) but its divided into smaller sections so it's not too bad. You pick the topic as long as its psych related (serial killers, etc).

I took Professor Molinaro for gen psych. & she is an amazing educator who obviously LOVES her career. Essay-type assignment that lasts the entirety of the semester but she's willing to help you every step of the way. No study guides per say, but there are study groups & reviews you can participate in (Very helpful). Will def. take for dev. psych!

Kim Molinaro is only of the most knowledgeable professors I have ever had. I would take her class even if it's not required for your degree. Is there an option to add 3 Chili peppers?

She gives you every chance to succeed and her lectures are incredibly informative. Tests are relatively easy if you pay attention in class and write down the lecture notes. I hope to take her again.

This is my second time taking this professor. Professor Kim Molinaro is an inspirational speaker who is hilarious and makes things easy to understand. Her class teaching style conforms to how well the class performs. My specific classes were discussion style where the floor was open for anyone to talk. Best professor I've had.

She gives lots of extra credit and many chances to get work done so you are not behind. She is a nice teacher but can actually be very impatient and condescending when talking to. There were several times where I felt like she did not like me just for asking questions despite the fact that I was engaged in class. Overall a good teacher.

My class with her is the best class I've ever taken. I strongly recommend her. As long as you pay attention, take good notes, and do your best you'll get an A easily.

She is the most incredible human and really cares for her students she will set up so many "Safety nets" so you wont fail even if you're poor at tests. she gives extra credit and her lectures are never dull. I suggest her for every class you need to take. you will NOT be upset if you enroll in her class.

Good teacher hard subject. She helped me on my paper to the point where it was perfect. She has a strict side to her so do not aggravate her on her off days. Plenty of opportunities to earn extra credit. Two ways is turning in your essays early and perfect attendance. Gives you options for essay; community service is easier to do. Grade is TBD.

I've been in her Public Defender Milleu Therapy Internship for nearly my entire academic career. This professor cares, and has always been there for her students, and will move mountains to make sure you're learning while having fun and being safe. One of, if not the the best professors I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Such an interesting class. I originally thought I was gonna fail, but professor Molinaro made sure I passed. She gives extra credit for turning in your essays (two parts) early and a perfect attendance bonus for 1 or fewer. Though the class was challenging, I was able to pass and have fun in the process. Hope to take her again one day.

This was THE BEST class I have taken for my pre-req's. Ms. Molinaro genuinely CARES for her students and their success. Don't get me wrong this is not a 'cake walk' course. You will work for it, however, she makes it easy. The lectures are memorable. Read the book and follow her along (she keeps you on track) and you'll do very well!

Professor Molinaro is an amazing and passionate teacher! She is very flexible and helpful when it comes to class work. The assignments are interesting and you can tell she loves what she does. I would absolutely take her again! Love love love her!

Great teacher, but she has a tone I do not like after class. Everything is pretty straight forward. Her tests are hard so study for them; final is 100 questions so study extra hard for that. The term paper is easy and she offers extra credit if you turn it in on or before the deadline for it. Easy class so you can get at least B, push for an A.

Professor Molinaro is AMAZING! She seems very passionate about what she teaches. At the half way and final mark she gives you an opportunity to turn in late or missed work. She gives great feedback and teaches using multiple teaching styles and has a Ted Talk video that applies to EVERY chapter. I wish she could teach all my courses.

Read the required textbook chapters, participate in discussions, and it's hard to fail. Late work accepted, with deductions. Lots of great feedback and comments on your assignments. Mid-term and final exam were open book/open note. Replies promptly to emails, questions, and concerns.

I recommend her for the online psych class

I enjoyed this class !! Quizzes and exams were open book but it helps to read the chapters. Professor answers emails quickly and gives good feedback on your work. I would take her class again.

I took professor Molinaro my freshman year, first semester. Her lectures are informative and fun, but you better take notes. She had one big paper, split into two parts, but it was fun!

Very friendly, upbeat professor. I highly recommend taking her class. Make sure you take notes on what she says as well as what she writes down on the board.

I heard pretty great things about Molinaro and decided to taker her for psychology and turned out to be fun. She is caring and want everyone to succeed. Her paper is split into two parts and is easy to follow, you can either do community service or pysch investigation. She also does extra credit which helped when I dropped my A to a B. Best ever!

Excellent teacher, definitely enjoys teaching her class. Her lectures are definitely more for audio learners as her notes are a spiderweb and hard to follow, but if you pay even the smallest amount of attention you will pass. Very little homework. Just take this class. You will enjoy it.

Excellent teacher. She gives good feedback along with grades. She really cares about the success of the student. Weekly assignments are very informative and interesting. She also keeps students updated with weekly video notes that I enjoy because 1. She thoroughly explains what is expected and 2. She is so pleasing to the eyes.

I just wish I had taken her class in person, because from her correspondences online she seems like a wonderful person. Very caring, very concerned about the success of her students. The class was not too difficult by any means and she gives really thorough feedback to written submissions.

Intro to abnormal psych is my favorite college class so far. I learned a lot and she teaches in line with the current DSM-5. She puts you in groups the first week of class and you will work with your group throughout the semester, and there is big paper at the end. She will always answer any questions and her class is very informative!!

Don't hesitate to take this professor. I took her class online. She provides good feedback and is there to help if needed. She really wants to see you succeed. She even wrote the book to save you money. Course was was pretty cut & dry every week. A few quizzes, a test, & a writing discussion each week. Dedicate 2-3 hours a week and you will be fine

Molinero taught with such passion that class was never boring. She even made her own textbook for the students to use so that we don't have to buy our own. She makes sure you know and understand what will be asked on the exams, and prepares students well.

Best online class ever take! No textbook required, she provides short and easy readings for each lesson. Every test and quiz is "open book" and matches up identically to the readings. She's a quick and easy grader and provides helpful feedback. Her class was certainly my easy and stress free class of the semester. Easy A!

This class was pretty easy. As long as you participate and follow directions, you should complete this course with an A. Not having to purchase a book was a huge plus. I would definitely take her class again.

Prof Molinaro is a must. I took her for intro as well. If theres any psych class u have to take, take it with Molinaro. She is an amazing person. Its not an easy A, you have to do work. She is such an amazing teacher i took her general psych class this past spring and i just registered for her abnormal psych class this fall. i am so excited to be taking another class with Dr. Molinaro. she really cares about all her students and answers every single question. One major paper, a few tests as long as you pay attention you will pass.

She is the kindest teacher I've had since starting my college experience. She is lecture heavy but if you don't understand something then she'll go over it with you after class. There are a few extra credit opportunities. And if you need her to go over any information slower, she will.

wonderful person beyond a great teacher

She was an amazing teacher and was very thoughtful and helpful! She cared for all her students and she loves what she does! I would take her again in a heart beat. I am actually wanting to find another psych class just to take her as an elective. She does give you work, but it is very interesting and she explains everything thoroughly.

Very helpful and does things step by step, if you're not getting something she is there for you. Only thing is: do not procrastinate doing her psychological investigation paper!

Professor Molinaro is the best one I have ever had. She is absolutely amazing and I really loved her class. It was so enjoyable I even debated changing my major to Psychology. There is a lot of reading, but you have plenty of time to get it done and the material is interesting. TAKE HER CLASS!

She really was great, weekly she assigns 3-4 readings(each with a quiz),a test, and either a Discussion or WrittenAssignment. No textbook purchase is necessary and as long as you do the assigned short readings, the class is incredibly easy. She also allows you to make up assignments without penalty as long as you email her. She is kind&caring 10/10

Not only did I learn an incredible amount, but I had an amazing time. She was super sweet and always available to help. The work can be difficult, but she will definitely work with you to ensure you get an A if you put in the effort

Prof Molinaro was amazing! She truly cares about your success, responds to emails fast and gives you more time on assignments if needed. There is one discussion, a few quizzes and a test each week, so if you do the work it is an easy A class. My only advice is to not to fall behind, and it'll be a super easy course.

I Absolutely love Professor Molinaro. She truly cares about all of her students and passionate about teaching. She understands difficulties and is willing to work with you! Professor Molinaro was the most caring prof I have ever had. She is the sweetest soul, and actually cares about helping the students learn the content rather than getting an A. There are three exams throughout the semester which are open note and open book. The biggest assignment in the class is the research paper, but you work on it all semester.
